Sonic and the Freedom fighters

Hi everyone, this is mastershadow, I'm doing a sonic game timeline along with some side stories, but with the freedom fighters and many more friends, even six certain characters from another world which will be merged later on (forgot to mention that), including chronicles because I liked the game, but the story could be a little better along with the planned sequel, I'm also adding the events from the idw comics because they're awesome, also Sally won't hook up with sonic for a while until way later, but for now enjoy.

Metal vs Sonic rematch.

The freedom fighters got through White Park.

"Man, white park is amazing," Sonia said." we should have christmas here someday."

"I agree," Tiara said." hey look a warp ring."

The group enters the ring and sees Fiest again.

"I'll go," Nicky said."

"Me too," Manic said."

"Very well," Fiest said."

They go through the course while avoiding bombs and electric triangles until the floor began collapsing.

"Whoa!" Nicky said."

Manic uses his wind powers to save them both and continue on and obtained the time stone.

"(Growls)" did think you would have wind powers," Fiest said."

"Impressed?" Manic asked."

Fiest snaps his fingers, and they were back in white park.

"What a sore loser," Manic said."

"But on the bright side, we got another time stone," Rotor said."

"Uh guys, have you noticed that we're kind of on a roller coaster?" Tails asked."

"Hey, we are!" Bunnie replied."

Suddenly, Metal appears flying Tails rocket surprising everyone.

"Another Metal Sonic, Eggman is really obsessed with me," Sonic said."

(Jumps off the rocket)" It's been 5 years since our last race back on stardust speedway Sonic," Metal said."

(Surprised)" You're the original Metal!" Sonic said." So that's why Eggette was a distraction."

"That's right, he revived me and gave me a power boost so we can settle who's the true Sonic," Metal said."

"Bring it on!" Sonic said."

(Sees Shard)" What's this, a pretender?" Metal asked."

"Nope, my name is Shard, the better you created by Junior," Shard replied."

"That explains why we're nothing alike," Metal said."

"Less talk and more action!" Sonic said."

Sonic and Metal race as the others watch. Sonic takes the lead.

"Is that all you got?" Sonic asked." this'll be too easy."

"Oh really?" Metal asked."

He uses the purple orb to increase his speed and ram Sonic surprising him.

"What the?!" Sonic said."

"Just a little treasure I found in the ruins," Metal said."

He flies ahead as Sonic gets back up and runs after him.

"Now this is a challenge!" Sonic said."

He pulls out a power ring and gives him a boost and ram Metal.

"Payback!" Sonic said."

Metal powers up and starts destroying the tracks.

"Jeez, this guy doesn't play around," Sonic said."

He then hits Metal hard enough to make him fall and won.

"Better luck next time," Sonic said."

The others meet up.

"That was awesome Sonic!" Ben said."

"I know, now let's keep going," Sonic said."

They leave for the next zone.

(On radio)" Metal, report," Eggman said."

"That rodent got away but turns out your ex-son build a copy of me," Metal said."

"Hmm, return to base for now," Eggman said."

Metal flies off. Meanwhile, the freedom fighters go through the oil desert and defeated Eggette, the sky fortress while chasing Eggette then faced Metal again,

"Back again Metal?" Sonic asked."

"I'll always come back!" Metal replied."

His ride fires lasers at them, Tails and Rotor fly the tornado and twister to dodge the lasers while the others hang on, Shard, Bunnie, Manic, and Tiara dodge the lasers through flying and their hover boards. Sonic hits Metal's ride causing damage.

"Give up Metal!" Sonic said."

"Not on your life!" Metal said."

He gets in front of them and fires a more powerful laser at them.

"Heads up!" Nicky said."

Sonic, Manic, Sonia, and Nicky use their medallions and fired their own laser at metal, the lasers clash but the royal hedgehogs were stronger pushing back and damaging Metal's ride enough for him to fly away.

(Screams)" This isn't over yet!" Metal said." I'll see you on the death egg mark 2."

"Good thing you four used your medallions," Sally said."

"Thanks," Sonia said."

They land on the sky fortress.

"Now, how do we get to the death egg mark 2?" Scarlet asked."

"We can use those," Antonie replied pointing to some pods."

"Antonie you're a genius!" Sonic said." But we better hurry, this fortress won't be in the air long."

They entered the pods and fly up towards space.

"Guys, he's got little planet captured!" Trip said."

"Then we'll free it!" Nicky said."

They landed in the death egg mark 2, as they got out, they find a warp ring.

"Lucky us," Marrick said."

They entered but Fiest had everyone but Sonic and Tails captured.

"What gives?!" Sonic asked."

'This will be a new and final challenge for the rest of the time stones!" Fiest replied."

"Ok then," Sonic said."

Sonic and Tails run through the course as Fiest uses all the traps on them.

"Do you think he's still holding a grudge about tricking him to get the last chaos emerald and saving Sally's dad?" Tails asked."

"Wouldn't put it passed him," Sonic replied."

They pass the course as Fiest shows an evil grin.

"We finished now free our friends and give us the time stones," Sonic said."

"I lied, I'm really going to keep you all here as my toys forever, but you two are better off crushed and the time stones will help me," Fiest said."

He grabs Sonic and Tails and begins to crush them.

"Sonic! Tails!" Sally yelled."

Sonic and Tails grunted trying to escape.

(Sees the dark emerald)" Ah the famous dark emerald," Fiest said."

He grabs the emerald, suddenly it starts glowing.

"What?!" Fiest asked." What is this?!"

The emerald's powers began to erase Fiest's body.

"M-my body!" Fiest said."

He screams as he was fully erased, the others were free.

"Are you guys ok?" Amy asked."

"Yeah," Sonic replied."

"But what just happened." Manic asked."

"The dark emerald was too much for Fiest to handle," Tails replied." so it destroyed him."

"Fair enough," Scarlet said." now that we have both the chaos emeralds and the time stones we have a chance."

The group return to the death egg mark 2.

"Let's go!" Sonic said."

They fight their way through the place. they find Eggette and Metal.

"You want dad, you'll have to fight us," Eggette said." And Sonic, I bet you can't use the dark emerald."

"Don't need it," Sonic said."

They fight Eggette and Metal while avoiding their attacks. they fly away as the others continue on.

"Jeez, this place rotates a lot that I might lose my lunch," Manic said."

"I know how you feel," Sonic said."

Suddenly, Metal shows up again.

"Come Sonic, up for another race?" Metal asked."

"You know I can't turn down a race," Sonic replied."

They race as the others follow as fast as they could. they made it to the end as Metal wasn't seen.

"Weak, he wasn't even trying," Sonic said." it felt easy."

"Yeah, too easy," Sally said."

They hear Eggman's laugh.

"Of course you fool, I need Metal to bring you to me!" Eggman said."

Eggman appears in new machine with big red and blue wires on each side. it was then covered in a big metal ring.

"Now then, how about you hand me the chaos emeralds and time stones," Eggman said."

"Fat chance egghead!" Sonic said."

"Have it your way," Eggman said."

Two bigger metal rings appeared and gives off electricity.

"Guess we'll have to get to him with those rings," Tunnel said."

They try to reach him but failed.

(Laughs)" you see, with my death egg mark 2 along with the soon to be mine time stones and chaos emeralds along with my completed roboticizer, my empire will rise!" Eggman said."

"We won't let you!" Sonic said."

Suddenly, the chaos emeralds and the time stones appeared and circled around Sonic, they enter him and turned him into a peach-colored hedgehog.

"Wow, from the chaos emeralds and time stones, Sonic has become Super Chronos Sonic!" Tails said."

"What?!" Eggman yelled."

"You're done Eggman!" Sonic said."

He uses his new form to destroy Eggman's machine.

"Curses!" Eggman said."

Sonic was about to grab him until Metal grabbed him first along with Eggette.

"We'll meet again Sonic," Metal said."

He flies away.

"Great work sugarhog," Bunnie said."

"Not done yet, you guys get to the pods," Sonic said."

They get to the pods as Sonic destroys the death egg mark 2 setting little planet free not knowing that he creates another chaos wave that spreaded across mobius and somewhere else beyond. Everyone lands in green hills, soon Sonic appears before turning back to normal.

"Nice work Sonic, little planet is saved once again," Sally said."

The time stones leave with little planet.

"Looks like little planet is gone for another year," Sonic said." let's go home."

They head home to tell Charles what happened. meanwhile, at one of Eggman's bases, Eggman was looking at notes of the roboticizer.

"So, you're saying that you can make a better roboticizer?" Eggette asked."

"Yes, my dear daughter and it'll be my last resort once its complete," Eggman replied."

Metal was seen punching a wall.

"Why, why can't I beat him, I need more power so much Sonic will kneel before me," Metal said." but how?"

This is how I believe Sonic 4 episode 2 should've ended instead of leaving little planet inside the death egg mark 2.

To answer your question Void, I had Junior have Shard put the time stones in the special zone to hide from Eggman in case he tried to go after them again, and as you saw Fiest wanted his revenge after southwest island. And for your second question, the dark emeralds were introduced back in triple trouble from the remake where Fang was introduced.
