In Amarant, people were still baffled by the disappearance of Princess Selene, luckily, the Vampire Council was in charge as they could until the deadline and at the same time they were coordinating the search for the Vasilescu heiress.
Caleb, the current Vampire King, was in bed while having his anti-vervain treatment, he still had a lot in his system from the food plot and as the council feared that another poisoning would happen, the food he received in his room was monitored by Donovan, the leader of the council. Lady Mara, the Vampire King's younger sister comes in to see her brother who was looking out the window at the clear night sky.
Caleb was a stocky vampire, although now that he was weak from the vervain in his system, he was noticeably thinner, with gray hair that reached his shoulders and a small beard with a scar across his eye, it was the only scar that never healed, his eyes were violet, the insignia of the Vasilescu Family. "Still nothing. It's been days and there's no sign of my daughter. I feel terrible and not just about my health, I want to look for her myself but they won't let me leave my room for at least 3 more months because of my vulnerable state. And I had done everything to have a day off to be with her and this happens."
"Brother, it's a shame that Selene still hasn't shown up. But it's also a shame not to have free time, neither she nor you have it. If only there was a way to pass the responsibility on to someone else" Mara says that and is interrupted by the Vampire King.
"There's no one more qualified than my daughter for this, she's like her mother after all!"
Caleb looks at the painted portrait of a very beautiful woman, with fangs and long, gorgeous platinum hair, her eyes were golden because she was from another family, but her beauty dazzled in the words of her husband, wearing a black dress with purple lace. She liked the simple so her dress didn't have many details.
"My beautiful Kharu, I need you to tell me where our daughter is, I miss you so much, I would like to know at least what happened to you that one day you ended up giving in to the afterlife." Lady Mara just exhales at her older brother's cheesy words.
"I just hope she's okay, some speculate that she could have been taken by Scarlet Moon, but they haven't found any clues. Let's hope she'll come back okay." The adult vampire bows to the sick man. "I'm leaving, brother. I wish you a speedy recovery."
"Thank you, sister. I hope your words come true and that my moonlight is okay, wherever she is." Caleb coughs a little but smiles. His sister also smiles at him and leaves, closing the door as she exhales again.
"This brother of mine, well, I must follow our plan. And for that..."
The vampire goes at high speed directly to Zurie's room, who was having problems with his older brothers: Kaige and Locke, a pair of teenage vampires who had a good time. They were twins and had silver-colored hairstyles slicked back with a quiff to one side, although the color of their hair was a slightly different shade from one to the other, their eyes were violet. They liked to tease Zurie because he was the center of Lady Mara's attention and now they had found his intercom, Kaige was holding the object while Locke held his little brother.
"What's wrong loser? Playing with your toy phones again?" Kaige says
"Give it back, it's an important object to me!" Zurie tried to free himself and even though he was a first class vampire, he couldn't beat his older brothers.
"And what are you going to do to us? Hit us with an anatomy book?! Hahahaha!" Locke says laughing until...
"Kaige, Locke. What did I tell you about teasing your brother?" The pair of vampires are surprised while the youngest smiles in relief "Leave that thing there and go, you're going to be late for your vampire combat classes"
"Okay, mother" The twins say in unison as they quickly retreat leaving the intercom in the air and starting to fall, Zurie was going to catch it but his mother beats him to it by catching it at super speed, which makes the vampire boy nervous.
"A homemade intercom? You really are a prodigy if you made this, although I wouldn't be surprised by you, my little one. I suppose you used it to communicate with Selene and her capsule intercom, right?"
Mara looks at her son with a smile while he just rubs his arm nervously "Zurie, remember that you can't lie to mom if she asks you something"
The vampire boy gets more nervous and exhales "Yes, mother. It's just that... I'm worried about my cousin and I just wanted to know how she was."
The vampire leaves the intercom on the desk, takes her son to a nearby piece of furniture and sits with him next to her. "You don't have to be nervous about that, my boy. I know you care about your cousin, and so do I. She's like a daughter to me after all, because when your aunt Kharu died from an unknown weakening, I took care of her like a surrogate mother. That's why we're doing this for her, for her sake."
"Really?" Zurie asks with a little hesitation. The boy was very smart when it came to academics, but he was a little insecure and afraid to question his mother because he's like her golden son.
"That's right. How about you tell me about her life on Earth? Probably with how cute and kind my precious niece is, she's already made some friends out there." The vampiress smiles, as if the subject was of great interest to her.
"Uh... Actually. She made a couple of friends who are helping her live there, she told me that they are very kind to her. Especially a human child who I think has a Vampire Bond, I know that is impossible if it isn't between two vampires but..."
Mara interrupts her son by putting her finger on his mouth "I believe you, my son. After all, you can't lie to me if I ask you something. But what you tell me seems VERY interesting to me, we have time before I go back to helping the council..."
"So tell me EVERYTHING you know about that human child"
On Earth, after school, the boys immediately went to Nobita's house and Selene's room for privacy. While Shizuka looked at how beautiful the vampire's temporary room was with its gothic-modern style. Selene explained to the pair about her true identity and why she was on Earth.
And it was obvious that when she finished she left the pair in shock, they didn't know they were living with a real vampire after so many days.
"YOU'RE A PRINCESS FROM ANOTHER PLANET WHO RUN AWAY BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T WANT TO BE THE QUEEN?!" Suneo shouts bewildered.
"YOU'RE A VAMPIRE?! VAMPIRES EXIST AND THERE ARE SOME BAD GUYS WHO ARE CAUSING THE STRANGE EVENTS AND WHAT HAPPENED TO JAIKO WAS ONE OF THOSE ATTACKS?!" Gian shouts upset.
"I've been told all this before, but this is the first time I've seen Selene's room. It's pretty even if it's a little dull," Shizuka says happily.
"And yes, technically you all understood everything. If Selene looks very human now it's because of the bracelet she always wears, it helps her with the sunlight and being able to reflect" Doraemon says pointing at the vampire bracelet on the vampire's wrist.
Nobita was taking a nap on Selene's bed with his usual pose, of course, asking his owner's permission in advance, and he wakes up just in time to jump out of bed and stand in front of the platinum girl.
"First of all... I TOLD YOU, I TOLD YOU THAT VAMPIRES EXIST!" Come on, Nobita deserved to throw in their faces that he was right because they had made fun of his theory days ago, he was with a mocking smile and proud of being able to rub that in their faces, it was his right after all.
"And second" Then, the boy with glasses puts on a serious face while raising his arm in front of Selene "I don't want Selene to be blamed for the attacks. Yes, Jaiko went through a vampire attack, but she is from the Scarlet Moon who even want to kill Selene for coming to power and thus conquer Amarant and then conquer planets including ours for blood. She is a very good person and has helped me improve and I'll not be afraid to defend her even from you if you want to hurt her because of how she is"
Shizuka looks at how her friend defended the vampire, but it was noticeable how her legs trembled, he was afraid, but he was going to take courage for her, which although it generates that confusing feeling again in her chest because of how close they were, she was happy that her friend gave everything for those he loved.
Gian and Suneo look at each other and then at Nobita. "I see, okay, you were right about the vampires. But you don't have to make a big deal out of it, we're not going to hurt Selene. I mean, she's a cute girl who helped my sister and also saved Shizuka. Even though she's a vampire, she's like a little angel."
"And yes, you're right about vampires, but that doesn't take away from how elegant and sophisticated Selene is, although I'm a little jealous that she has a connection with you" Suneo says in a jealous tone. "Did you really think we were going to do something stupid if we discovered her identity?"
"YES" Nobita and Doraemon respond in unison, which makes the pair laugh nervously.
"So that cute bat from the other day was you, Selene?" Suneo asks, to which the vampire transforms into a bat, fluttering around everywhere.
"She's even cute as a bat" Gian says that and then sighs, blushing with Suneo.
The platinum girl transforms into herself, standing next to Nobita. "So the thing about the patch was a bite from Selene? How does a vampire bite feel?"
"Yes, and it feels like being bitten by an animal and I could feel the blood in my body going in one direction, it hurt a lot and it still hurts for a few days, but I'm almost done with it. Selene did it that day only because she was weak and had no other choice but she knew how to moderate herself, I don't blame her." The silly boy rubs his neck while smiling at Selene who also smiles at him.
"I shared this with you because since you seem more willing to be friends with Nobita, you have to know that when the deadline is over, I'll return to Amarant, to be a common girl and be able to spend time with my father. My cousin with whom I communicate with the intercom of my capsule told me that he is out of danger and that apparently he was poisoned by someone from Scarlet Moon who put well-hidden vervain in his food and that little by little they were weakening him, but Zurie found a way to detect that in time and now he is in a detoxification process, but it would take years due to the amount of vervain ingested, my father will now have to be in bed for at least 3 months because he is vulnerable, but he will be able to leave when he can move better."
"Oh, we didn't know that. Did your cousin detect that on his own?" Doraemon asks, curious about the details.
"Yes, he is the same age as me and wants to be a doctor when he grows up. He really likes to study about it, although he isn't very sociable because he is shy. When my promotion time is up, my aunt Mara will take my place as planned and I'll return so I can finally have time for myself, at least that is the plan."
"It's a shame you're only going to be around for two months, the class loves you very much and it's not surprising if you're very talented" Suneo says a little sad about that.
"But with the intercoms we'll be able to keep in touch, maybe we won't be able to see each other but we will be able to talk" Selene smiles at everyone, especially the silly boy who had also been saddened by knowing that he would have to say goodbye to his friend in a few months, but he was happy in part because he was helping her to be free as she wanted.
At that moment, Nobita's mother knocks on the door and opens it carrying the shopping bag, the 3 visitors greet her again "Hi kids, sorry to bother you but I wanted to ask Nobita to go buy some things for dinner"
"I can go, no problem" Selene approaches to take the bag
"Are you sure? You always help me with the housework and it seems like you are having a conversation" Tamako says somewhat embarrassed.
"Don't worry, it's the least I can do to stay here temporarily. The shopping list and wallet are inside the bag as usual, right?" Selene takes the bag and winks at everyone "I'll be back in a while"
Both the vampire and Mrs. Nobi leave the room closing the door, so Nobita remembers something and looks at everyone "Guys! Let's take advantage of the fact that Selene went shopping to get organized for the (secret plan)"
"I already found a perfect place where no vampire from Scarlet Moon will bother and that goes according to what we want to do" Doraemon says while taking a photo of a mysterious place, Nobita and Shizuka get excited to see it.
"It's perfect! And with some decorations, it's going to be a fun and lovely night" Shizuka says excitedly, while Gian and Suneo are confused, no wonder, they are the most recent in the whole context about Selene.
"Secret plan?" The pair say in unison, so the silly boy begins to tell them what they were planning to do and that apparently involved a lot the vampire princess.
