The rest of the days went by relatively normally, Scarlet Moon's attacks on humans went from very few to no longer happening, so people, especially adults, spent their nights again enjoying the city center.
Selene enjoyed her days in elementary school, she was one of the best students in class, and a good athlete, although she was moderate in human terms when it came to skills, she got along with the girls in the class and was admired by the boys for being very pretty and kind.
Even on the day of the school festival she stood out a lot, that day Dekisugi had fallen ill, which was a great disadvantage, so she had to lead her class and encourage them, especially Nobita, since although he had also improved, he was still the slowest and weakest when it came to gymnastics. The vampiress guided her classmates and they were in a good position on the table, practically in second place.
In circumstances with the council, a second place was terrible for her, since as the princess, she had to be the best at everything, but in this case, the teacher congratulated everyone for their effort, even Nobita tried hard even though he almost fainted a couple of times, but he was able to do well. The elementary school children congratulated Selene who thanks to her leadership and good spirit, were able to stand out quite a bit.
That made the platinum girl feel good, she felt good because she had led a group and despite not being the first, they had fun and trusted her. That day, Tamako made a dinner in celebration for it, they were quiet days. When it was night, Nobita and Selene were sitting on the roof of the house where the boy used to sit to pass the time sometimes. With a small lamp next to them, Nobita was doing something with his hands, he was concentrating on it while the vampiress looked at him. Until...
"DONE!" The silly boy shows his vampire friend his bat figure made with threads.
"Well done Nobita, it turned out like mine" Selene applauds while the boy smiles proudly at his work, she was one of the few people who was interested in one of his talents, although that figure had cost him a little to imitate.
"I can now say that I even know how to make supernatural figures." They both laugh, the atmosphere was pleasant and they both look at the night sky and the stars. "Tomorrow is your birthday, right?" The vampire nods.
Yeah, tomorrow was Selene's birthday and after that there were going to be 10 days left until the promotion ceremony deadline.
"It will be my first birthday outside of Amarant, I won't be able to do the plan I usually do with my aunt and cousin, but it will be nice to spend it with my friends from Earth" says the platinum girl.
"Yes, I know, let's celebrate it at home with a dinner, there will be many red things that you like! What do you think?"
Nobita's idea makes Selene smile, who nods happily, she couldn't wait until tomorrow to have a good time with the love that they gave her on Earth. It would be an unforgettable day.
However in Amarant, especially in the Scarlet Moon lair, the leader of the villainous vampire clan, Lady Belladonna, was sitting on her throne-chair while watching the pair of moons in the dark night through the window, she had a cup of Earth human blood in her hand. "Tomorrow is Princess Vasilescu's birthday, too bad there won't be her annual party at the castle this year, anyway. I think we'll have to give her a nice gift for this year." The vampiress only laughs elegantly as she takes a sip of the red liquid from the cup.
The next day was an avalanche of surprises for Selene. Tamako had made her a special breakfast for her on her birthday, and she was congratulated by the Nobi family. Of course, she had to pretend that she was turning the same age as a human child of that age. At school, her classmates congratulated her and some gave her nice gifts, including Dekisugi who gave her a Bat Encyclopedia, which was perfect because Selene loved bats. Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo hadn't given her anything yet, as they were still preparing for something special.
The vampiress felt the genuine affection from her classmates, which she would miss the day she returned to her world. While Shizuka, Gian and Suneo went together because they had something to do, Nobita takes Selene to spend time together, then eat ice cream at the ice cream shop they once went to, where she ate the special red fruit ice cream she had enjoyed days ago again, to spend the rest of the day playing together until dusk came.
Upon arriving home, the princess was greeted by a special dinner for her birthday while Nobita's parents congratulated her for another year of life and the first birthday away from home, Selene couldn't live a better day in her life than this one.
Both guys along with Doraemon go up the stairs after the special dinner. "I really appreciate today, it was a great birthday outside my world, I feel very happy" says the vampire smiling. "Now I'll take a bath and put on my pajamas to go to sleep, tomorrow we have school"
Doraemon and Nobita turn around stopping in the hallway above "Who said the birthday is over?" The blue cat says as he enters Nobita's room. She is confused but the boy takes her by the hand.
"We still have one more surprise to show you. Come on, come on!" Both guys run to the glasses boy's room. Inside it was the Anywhere Door, which was decorated with black and purple balloons.
"What is your dimensional door doing outside?" Selene asks, to which Nobita gives her light pushes guiding her to the door.
"Why don't you find out?" Nobita stands next to her while smiling from ear to ear.
The vampire didn't know what was behind the door, but she blindly trusted her human friend, so she puts her hand on the knob and slowly opens the door, she passes there with Nobita, she is very happy and that was noticeable in the brightness of her violet eyes.
A large clearing in the middle of a forest illuminated by the stars and the moon was the scene that the door showed, in it was a crystal clear lake where there were ornaments made with lotus leaves that had a low glow that illuminated the lake. Near the lake was the dock where there was a cabin, which wasn't in use at that time, but the exterior was decorated.
Balloons, streamers, a couple of tables with snacks and a big red fruit cake were there outside the cabin, plus there were red roses also adorning the place. There were also Shizuka, Suneo and Gian who were picked up by Doraemon a little earlier for the moment.
The vampiress was surprised by that, it was like the getaway parties on her birthday in Amarant, and now she was living on Earth, the mix of nostalgia and joy invaded her body as she approaches the cabin with Nobita.
"Did you make this for me?" Selene says excitedly and everyone nods happily.
"You told us how in Amarant you would run away with your family to have a small birthday party at a lake because you like quiet places, so we made this for you, so you would feel at home" Nobita says.
"We both had the idea of giving you a surprise, I was thinking of a small, quieter meeting between everyone, but Nobita insisted on imitating the getaway" Doraemon says scratching his head.
"When Nobita told us about this, we agreed to participate, we came earlier to decorate and prepare everything and we returned home for dinner and immediately Doraemon brought us here a while ago. We hope you like it" Shizuka says smiling happily.
"I was going to sing a song for the birthday girl, but I didn't have much inspiration for this night of late night, but I'll make up for it with my gift. And it's a shame, you would have been delighted with my soprano voice" Nobita, Doraemon, Shizuka and Suneo smile nervously but inside they were relieved.
"I put my elegant touch with the decoration" Suneo says proudly while adjusting his hair "Although, I think we need to be a little more connected to the environment, don't you think?"
Doraemon takes out the camera that is used to change. "Leave that to me"
After a camera flash, the guys wore elegant clothes in black and purple tones for the birthday girl, Nobita and Suneo had suits with shorts, Gian had a short-sleeved suit, Shizuka a cute black dress with purple flowers, lilac earrings and a purple ribbon in each ponytail along with purple high heels, Doraemon had a short suit without pants, and Selene a beautiful and elegant short dress black and purple with a black flower in her hair as a headband with black and purple boots and of course, her bracelet. The silly boy couldn't help but think about how pretty his friends looked with their dresses from the evening.
"Now that's something else" Suneo says happily adjusting his hair "And my black-purple suit is the most elegant of course"
"We have to enjoy it, this place is far from Tokyo, those from Scarlet Moon won't bother you" Doraemon says adjusting the collar of his jacket.
Yes, this was the secret plan they had: A birthday party like the ones the princess usually does in her world. They all had a good time, talked about how Selene had given a shiny touch to the room, ironic coming from a vampire, ate some cake and snacks.
She received gifts, Shizuka gave her an adorable bat stuffed animal, Suneo gave her a small purple bag with black details from a designer that he had ordered from France a few days ago, Gian gave her a CD of his (best hits) just for her. Doraemon told her that she could keep both the Dimensional Door from the room when she leaves and the vampire bracelet when she wants to have a portrait made, and that he had repaired her capsule and filled it with red candy for her return trip as a gift.
Finally Nobita gives her a little box decorated with a bow. She opens it and sees that it was a bracelet with a small bat, although it wasn't that pretty because its wings were a bit crooked. "I made it by hand, Doraemon gave me materials to make it." The boy scratches his neck embarrassed. "Yeah, it's not that big of a deal, the bat came out weird, but Doraemon convinced me to give it to you anyway, hehe." The silly boy laughs but she smiles at him and puts the bracelet on her other wrist.
"You did it with good intentions, I like it a lot, just like everyone's gifts, thank you very much for this day, I had a great time." Selene smiles at everyone, who were happy because the evening had turned out well.
"We just need one more thing." Doraemon takes a portable radio out of his pocket. Gian gets excited because he wanted to put his gift to the test, but Suneo manages to convince him that they were going to play slow dance music for the evening, managing to avoid ONE tragedy. That radio really had a lot of power, because the music was playing all over the place while fireflies appeared out of nowhere to the beat of slow music.
"You said you like to dance in the night sky to this music on your birthday parties, right?" Nobita says winking as everyone takes out their takecopters "We're going to accompany you to dance"
"I WANT TO DANCE WITH YOU FIRST, MUA, ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME!" Suneo gets excited as he approaches blushing, even with all the secret revealed, he was still captivated by the vampire charm and he wasn't the only one.
"YOU?! OF COURSE NOT, I'LL BE THE FIRST TO DANCE WITH SELENE!" Gian pushes Suneo as he smiles blushing offering his hand to the vampire.
Selene was startled but she looks at how the pair were fighting over being their first dance by pushing each other, which made her laugh quietly, Doraemon just exhales tiredly at the pair's behavior.
The fireflies were fluttering around the cabin, Shizuka looks at Nobita out of the corner of her eye who was next to her watching the pair of boys argue over their turn, although knowing those two, Gian would win without a doubt.
Because of the pleasant and calm atmosphere, the girl with pigtails wants to get her friend's attention. She was going to say something but she just stays quiet, Nobita turns around and looks at how Shizuka just looks away nervously "Are you okay Shizuka? I see you're nervous"
She turns to see him and smiles "It's just that... I..."
"Excuse me..." Both he and Shizuka watch as the vampire walks past Gian and Suneo and approaches the clumsy boy "You're the first friend I made on Earth, the one I trust the most, the one I decided to open my thoughts to. So..."
The vampire princess extends her hand in front of her first friend while smiling at him "I want my first birthday dance to be with you this time, Nobita"
