Target 2: The Meeting

"Welcome!" A waitress calls out to the customer. "Oh? It's baby Akito~! Mochi! Mochi!"

"Rebecca, it-!" Akito sighed but was stopped by Raph. "Raph?"

"No, let her keep saying it." Raph grinned. "It's funny."

"Raph…" Akito sighed but it was to be excepted. Raph did like teaching the employees the wrong kanji to reward them for making fun of him. A sadistic part of his personality that Akito didn't want to be a victim of.

Noel smiled as he walked forward from the back, wearing a white chef's outfit. "Hello, Akito-sama. Raph-kun. Have you come to visit?"

"We're bored," Akito told him. "We came to work."

Raph nodded. "We'll go change in the back. Having Rebecca up front must be bad for business. Go hide her in the back."

"You can't hide these lumps in the back." Rebecca slapped her belly and flipped her long reddish-blonde hair. "But I get it. We get more girls to come in if you two work. I'll get going and flirt with my husband in the back~! Baby, I'm coming~!"

This was Rebecca Mia Hibari, Noel's wife whom he married the summer before. The two were a happy couple and owned the Kuroneko's bar together, even living upstairs together. She came from a small family and her parents had no clue that their daughter married into a mafia family until the couple went on their honeymoon. Rebecca's father asked for a divorce but was rejected since Rebecca pointed out that everyone in the mafia world knows she married into the Vongola family and needs to be protected. The couple agreed and currently own a small pawn shop down the street from the bar.

"Yes, Darling." Noel laughed as his wife hugged him. As you can guess, Neol Hibari is the oldest son of Kyoya Hibari. Not wanting to be trapped in Japan his whole life, he went to college in Italy where he met his future wife and started a peaceful life. Of course, Hibari was against every decision his son made, but he always ended up allowing it since he knew Noel would always compromise and make deals with him. Thankfully, Eiichi, Noel's younger brother and the second child that Kyoya had, was happier in Japan, so that helped convince Hibari to let go of his oldest.

Akito walked over to the counter and grabbed an apron. He looked around and saw the place filled with many families and children. It was a peaceful scene that he enjoyed watching. He blinked when he saw a girl with blonde braided hair, sitting alone at a table facing the wall. She seemed to have finished eating and was sleeping on the bench.

Seeing the boy eyeing the girl, Noel walked over. "She says that her brother is picking her up at this restaurant. She came here early and asked if she could stay here until he arrived. I offered the guest room upstairs, but she said she was fine. Can you go pick up the plates?"

"How long has she been here?" Akito asked.

"Before we opened, I found her outside and let her in." Noel waved as he went to the back. "Make sure to have a glass of water for her when she wakes up."

Akito tilted his head as he tried to think of why she arrived so early but shrugged it off. It wasn't his business. He walked over and started to collect the two plates and empty cups. He saw some spots where the condensation had marked the table with water spots. He went and put the dishes in the back and returned to the front to grab a rag and a fresh glass of iced water with a coaster. He wiped down the table and looked up when he heard the door open.

"Welcome!" He smiled. "Take a seat wherever you like. We'll be right with you."

"I got it." Raph waved as he walked over to the family.

Akito then returned to the table he was cleaning and blinked when he saw the girl looking at him. He gasped when he saw her beautiful blue eyes. Out of all the girls he had ever seen, she looked ten times prettier than them all. Realizing he froze staring at her, Akito snapped out of it with a blushing face. "Ah, sorry. I was just clearing the table for you and bringing you some water."

The girl looked enchanted as she stared at him but rubbed her eyes. Once she looked at him again, she blinked. "Oh, sorry. I thought you were my brother picking me up already. I was shocked to see you." She smiled, making Akito's heart skip a beat. "Thank you for letting me stay here. I'll order some dessert after I stop by the bathroom."

"Of course." Akito took a step back and let the girl get out of the booth. "I'll clean this up and bring you our dessert menu." The girl only waved at him and disappeared into the bathroom. Shaking his head, Akito finished cleaning the table and placed the water there for her. He walked back to the bar and frowned at the woman who was watching

"She's a cutie, right?" Rebecca smiled, her green eyes showing her mischievous side. "Did you fall in love at first sight, little boss?"

Akito glared at her. "Don't call me that. And I don't believe in love at first sight." He frowned. "I just thought she was cute."

"Kya! Did you hear that honey?!" Rebecca laughed as she opened the door that led to the kitchen. "Our Aki thought a girl was cute! It's a miracle!"

"Rebecca! Shut up!" Akito yelled, blushing. "I am not interested in dating anyone!" He then thought about his father's request and shook his head. "Besides… …"

"Um…" A girl's voice made Akito jump and look back at the girl with the braid. "Sorry! I was just wondering if I could also get the check for my first meal…when you bring the dessert menu?" She spoke a bit nervously. Akito nodded and she waved, giving him a sweet smile. "Then, I'll return to my table."

Akito nodded again, shaking as he heard Rebecca and Raph laughing in the kitchen. He turned and threw some rags at them threw the serving window. "You two, I swear to God, quit it!"

Then someone entered the building. They had on a hood and a face mask. One could see their orange hair sticking out as they looked around through sunglasses. They then spotted the girl with the braid and rushed over to her.

"Oh, it looks like she's taken. Sorry, Boss." Rebecca smiled.

Akito sighed as he went to the cashier and printed out a receipt. "Shut up." He placed the paper on a clipboard and walked over to the couple. "Here's your receipt." The Vongola boy only had on his customer service smile.

"Thank you." The girl smiled at Akito, making it harder for him to keep his smile. She blinked when the hooded person took the receipt and placed a few euro bills on it, handing it back to Akito. "H-Hey!"

"Here. We'll be going now." The boy offered his hand to the girl and nodded.

"Yes." The girl nodded and took the extended hand. She looked back at Akito who was doing the math for the change. "Um, keep the change."

Akito looked at her and then smiled. "Thank you. Enjoy the rest of your day." He watched the girl leave with her friend and then turned to go behind the counter. He put in the cash and then glared at his side. "What?"

"How sad." Raph sighed as he wiped a fake tear. "Your first love is already taken."

"There are other fish in the sea. Don't feel too bad, Boss." Rebecca patted his shoulder.

"You two…" Akito growled. "QUIT BEING STUPID AND GET TO WORK!"

"So how long are you gonna be mad at me?" Raph smiled as he and Akito walked down the hall. He was now wearing his Eleventh Family Uniform, black pants, and shoes with a red button-up shirt. Over the shirt was a red and black patterned vest with VXI on one side and a black tie.

"I'm not mad." Akito frowned. He was wearing a similar outfit but he had an orange, black, and yellow vest and an orange button-up under the jacket. "Now, I need to ready myself to meet this girl and accept this stupid proposal, so I can prove she's not worthy of being a part of my concerns."

"An enemy girlfriend… Yikes." Raph sighed. "If it was that cute girl from this afternoon, I'm sure you would say yes to her."

"It doesn't matter who it is." Akito sighed. "She's a spy from an enemy family, and I won't let her walk all over me."

"Oh? Already hating your fiance?" A voice chuckled from in front of the two. He had strawberry blonde hair and red-orange eyes that had an unusual pupil. He wore the same outfit as Raph, but his button-up was rusty red. "Yo, Aki!"

"Yuuma!" Akito smiled at the sight of his friend and then felt bad. "Sorry. Your vacation was cut short."

"It's fine~!" Yuuma laughed. This is Yuuma Kozato, Simon Decimo's oldest son. He is a prodigy who had to give up the succession for Simon Undicesimo and became Akito's Oath Guardian. Yes, Yuuma is an Oath flame user, being able to wield the Earth and Sky flame. Due to this fact, he was sent to Vongola Decimo, the only other Oath flame user to train. Due to this situation, Yuuma, Akito, and Raph became close childhood friends and a personal team for the mafia missions assigned to them. "Besides, I was just getting bullied by my little sister so I'm glad to be back."

"Welcome back." Raph walked over and slapped his shoulder. "Time for you to be bullied by me."

"Hey, I'll tell Lisa that you're cheating on her." Yuuma winked hugging himself as he nudged Raph with his hip. "What a bad boy~!"

"Both of you, quit it." Akito sighed as he walked past them.

"Oh shit, my bad." Raph held up his hands as he followed his boss. "Let's continue later, Yuu-chan~!"

"Anytime, Babe~!" Yuuma chuckled.

"Ugh…" Akito sighed as they headed to the meeting hall. He didn't mind the guys playing around, but right now was not the time for these types of jokes. He felt a lot of pressure on his shoulders and knew he had to walk in and face the people he knows are a threat to his somewhat-peaceful life.

Outside the huge double doors were some men that were guarding the entrance. Once they saw Akito and the guys, they saluted them and opened the doors. Announcing them, the three walked in with pride on their backs.

"Announcing!" The caller yelled. "Vongola Decimo's Successor and eldest son, Akito Sawada. Also known by, Vongola Undicesimo!"

Akito walked in and closed his eyes once they were at the foot of the table. He bowed to the people in the room. "Pardon my tardiness. I'm Akito Sawada, soon-to-be Vongola Undicesimo. Nice to meet you."

"You are pardoned," Tsuna called out. "Come, take a seat."

Akito opened his eyes and looked forward, gasping at the sight. Of course, His father was at the other side of the table with Hayato and Reborn behind him. However, their guest shocked him. Sitting to his father's left was an older woman wearing a beautiful white dress with black accents. She had long orange hair and pink eyes that amused Akito. Next to her was a teen boy with a hair color similar to her but blue eyes. He wore a simple suit and his hair was combed to the side.

The last person was who shocked him the most. She had long, flowy beach blonde hair, and her eyes resembled the boy's but were very familiar. Wearing a cute sea-green dress, she stared at Akito with shock. She even looked at her brother who was also shocked to see Akito.

'Wait. That's the girl from earlier.' Akito thought to himself. 'Is that boy the hooded guy that came to pick her up? Hold up! Why are they here?'

Raph looked at the situation and blinked. "Eh? Ah!" He covered his mouth and looked away. Seeing Yuuma giving him a confused look, he shook his head. Clearing his throat. "Eleventh, your seat."

"Huh?" Akito blinked and turned to his friend. After seeing him nod his head, Akito faced forward to see the confused adults and panicked teens. "Oh yeah. Sorry. I was starstruck by the ma'am's beauty. I heard that the Cacciatori Quinto, Bianca Marie Cacciatori, was supposed to look unbelievably young so I was shocked to hear the rumors of your beauty were real."

"Oh my~!" The older woman giggled. "What a charmer you have as a son, Vongola Decimo. I'm proud to have such a kind man as my future son-in-law! Ohoho!"

Akito let out a nervous chuckle. He was so glad Grandpa Shamel taught him a few things about pleasing women with words. He walked over to her and extended his hand. "May I?" He asked.

"How polite~!" Bianca smiled as she placed her hand on his, watching him kiss the back of it. "Watch and learn from Unidicesimo, Romeo."

"Y-Yes, Mother." The teen boy smiled, nervously.

Akito, fully recovered, looked at the teens and extended a handshake with Romeo. "I'm Akito Sawada. And you are?"

"R-Romeo Fay Cacciatori, soon-to-be Cacciatori Sesto." The teen boy shot up from his seat and bowed. "Nice to meet you!"

Akito blinked at the egderness and only smiled. He then looked at the girl who got up from her seat. He walked over to her and extended his hand. "And you are my soon-to-be fiance?"

The girl blushed at his words and actions and nodded, placing her hand on his and watching him kiss the back of her hand. "I'm Armonia Pearl Cacciatori, the only daughter of Cacciatori Quarto."

"Armonia-chan…" Akito blinked.

"You can call me Pearl." The girl smiled.

"As you wish." Akito smiled back and then walked over to sit beside his father, across from Bianca. Sitting down, he ignored his father's confused gaze. "Father, I hope I didn't keep you all waiting for a long time."

"No…" Tsuna blinked. "I feel like if I ask something, I'm not gonna like the answer. So I won't ask. Start the dinner!"

Yuuma took his seat next to Akito and Raph took a seat next to him. He looked at Romeo and waved. "I'm Akito-sama's Oath Guardian, Yuuma Kozato. Hello~!"

"Storm guardian, Raphael Gokudera. It's a pleasure." Raph smiled at the girl. "You can call me 'Raph', Pearl-san."

"Thank you." Pearl nodded.

Yuuma leaned to Akito's side. "She's quite a cutie~! How lucky for you~!"

"Yeah, how lucky." Akito sighed, holding his already throbbing head. He glanced at Raph who only shrugged. "Ha, I might need digestive medicine after this."

"And now we will exchange sake cups for their future wedding ceremony." Tsuna smiled as his son walked forward.

Akito was holding a black sake cup that had the Vongola insignia in the center and stood in front of Pearl who was holding a white sake cup with the Cacciatori insignia. Both teens were in the middle of the room with everyone surrounding them. On one side of the room, Tsuna and Bianca sat next to each other, on top of some pillows.

Akito took Pearl's cup and she took his. He looked at the girl who seemed a bit nervous. He remembered his words of never actually accepting her and came to feel like fate was kicking him in the gut every time he saw her face. This was bad. Her cuteness was something he never thought about. Was he really this easy to bewitch?

"And now, these two are engaged." Bianca smiled, proud. "Please take care of my baby girl."

"I will do my best." Akito bowed to the older woman.

"We will be leaving to Japan next week, so we will take her with us." Tsuna told the mother. "I'll have someone escort you three to her temporary room so you can say your goodbyes."

"How lovely." Bianca stood up, with the help of her son, and walked towards the door. "Well, thank you for accepting this alliance."

"Likewise." Tsuna waved as Akito approached him.

Pearl followed her mother and brother, waving at Akito. The three family members walked down the halls and when they arrived at the room, they excused the maid. Pearl looked at her mother, nervously. "Um, how was it, Mother?"

"Huh?" Bianca walked to the private bathroom and started to wash her hands. "I never gave birth to you."

"My apologies, Quinto-sama." Pearl bowed. "How was the dinner and engagement?"

"It was too Japanese-based. Haven't they heard of just exchanging rings and being done with it? They're so annoying. Also, that boy kissed my hand. Do you know how much I had to hold back from puking the entire dinner?"

Pearl looked at her brother who seemed a bit done with the situation. "Quinto-sama, do I really have to leave for Japan?" She asked, sounding nervous.

Bianca stared at her daughter and smirked. "Yes. You are to go with them, earn their trust, and when they least except it…" She walked over to Pearl and made her look up with her finger. "You are to kill Akito Sawada and his whole family. If you fail me, I will personally see to it that your mother falls to her illness. Understand?"

"Y-Yes…" Pearl looked away. "I understand, Madam."

"You have one year." Bianca released the girl and walked over to her son who stood by the door. "In one year it's either the Sawada family dies… or it's your birth mother. You get to decide."

Pearl waited until her boss left the room and sat on the bed. She took out a locket and opened it to show a picture of a woman that looked like an older version of Pearl but with purple eyes. Pearl fell back on the bed and closed her eyes.

"I have no choice. Forgive me, Mother. I have to take a life to save yours."
