An early rooster crowed as the morning sun sat on the horizon, lifting the darkness from the lands. The young lord peacefully woke up from his deep slumber, his first sight of the day the ceiling of his general's tent and his ever-present HUD. His healthbar had recovered nicely, and the pain of his shoulder and his head had disappeared completely, and although his health wasn't fully healed, his body did feel as light as it had felt the previous morning.

His body felt even a bit lighter, thanks to the two levels he gained by the previous battle. However, level 25 wasn't that special in his eyes, nor were the skills that slowed leveled up as well. The most surprising stat displayed in his menu was his leadership, which was currently maxed at level 99.

Although the game was normally meant to just hack and slash through like you were a possed demon on the battlefield, he felt that was too reckless if death meant permanent death. He had pushed himself twice already, and that had already proven quite much for his body to deal with. Although he apparently had a healing factor most warriors would be envious of, he wasn't really planning to test it out any further. Thus, in the battles he participated in, he used the best of his officers' skills. No wonder that after fourteen battles, his leadership was maxed out.

A slight shuffle drew his attention to the side, where Sun Shangxiang still lay peacefully. Another shuffle and he remembered there was more than one woman who had been his nightly company. As Brian could deduce from his fortune view, Lianshi wasn't exceptionally shy. A slight blush stood on his face as Brian thought, Yeah... now what? Have I just started a harem or have I now bound myself?

Suddenly, he realized something important from his situation. Although he answered the young tigress's feelings with a kiss the previous evening, Lianshi still had not backed away. On the contrary, she lay so close to him, he almost doubted who he had kissed the previous evening. And more importantly, Sun Shangxiang had not stopped her. Are they okay with sharing me? Is that something normal here? I should ask Delan about that when I am back. He thought as he sat up.

''Hm...?'' A soft murmuring sound came as Lianshi felt movement and slowly opened her dark-brown eyes. Her eyes fell on the naked back of her lord and with still sleepy eyes, she whispered, ''Morning, my lord. Have you slept well?''

''Like a log,'' Brian answered softly. ''Thank you for staying with me.''

''It was my pleasure.'' She smiled as she rose up, the blanket falling off her bare shoulders. Seeing her lord blush from that action, she teasingly smiled as she asked, ''My lord, are you not experienced with the opposite gender?''

Wow, she really just says what she thinks, Brian thought as he answered, ''It is not like I have zero experience. I am... just not used to this,'' Looking at the girl who was still sleeping, he added, ''I am not certain what to make of this situation.''

Lianshi smiled as she hugged him from behind, her hills of love touching his back as she whispered, ''Let me help you understand. My lady and I like you, and we want the best for you. You accepted her feelings. Can you accept mine as well?''

Brian looked shocked as he momentarily was looking for words. Not to answer the question, but to question the situation. ''Wait a second. I like you too, Lianshi, but is that possible and right?''

"Are you not a lord? It is legal to have multiple partners with such a title. And if you accept my lady as your wife, I would happily be your concubine," Lianshi whispered, blushing. Are you for real? But the Emperor is my friend... shouldn't that mean... Holy shit!

"What is your answer, my lord?" Lianshi whispered, a bit of uncertainty in her voice.

That uncertainty flew straight out of the tent when Brian turned around, pulled her towards him, and kissed her decisively. Taking a moment to catch his breath, he asked, "Does that suffice as an answer?"

Lianshi smiled as she answered, "For now," before footsteps and a familiar voice outside the tent interrupted their moment.

Eight weeks. That was the amount of time Brian had lived his life as a Han Dynasty lord of Ancient China. Thrown into a time of chaos, he had the impossible task of bringing the land together under one banner.

The first few days after the Battle of Tianshui were spent consolidating his new territory. Brian personally visited the farmers, ensuring their lands were safe and that they had the support needed to continue their work. He appointed Li Hui, one of the officers he had recruited during the battle, as the mayor of Tianshui to oversee the rebuilding efforts. Li Hui's leadership would ensure the city's reconstruction and maintain order.

Brian also established new trade routes to benefit Tianshui and his city of Jin Cheng. These routes facilitated the exchange of goods, particularly the rich produce from Tianshui's fertile lands, which could now supply Jin Cheng with much-needed food resources. Furthermore, he set up defensive positions to protect against potential threats from the south and east, fortifying the region's security.

In his so-called war room, he looked at the map of Ancient China Mi Tong had provided him. He had already drawn multiple lines, indicating the borders of his successful conquests. The city of Long You marked his western border, and further expansion was unnecessary. The rest of the west was independent and not in turmoil. His northern border ended alongside the Yellow River where the Great Wall started. Shi Cheng and An Deng formed his northeastern borders, and in the south, the newly acquired lands of Tianshui marked his new boundaries.

With Tianshui taken, he could follow the Wei River towards Chang'an. There was a problem with that plan, though.

The famous Wu Zhang Plains lay between Tianshui and Chang'an. Knowing the location of the battle between Shu and Wei, Brian was certain the next battle would be there. According to Mi Tong's reports, Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi had joined forces and were close to the Wu Zhang Plains. A battle against the two strategists from Shu and Jin... I am not certain if we are ready to engage in such a battle, Brian thought worriedly.

The door suddenly opened as a young, smiling lord stepped into the room. "Ah, there you are. I was just looking for you, Brian," Liu Shan said with his usual smile. Liu Shan was not that thrilled with the whole "lord" thing either, so both Brian and Liu Bei's son quickly decided to keep things casual.

"Liu Shan. I hope the tour through my city was to your liking," Brian responded in kind.

"It was. To see everyone work together with such respect and devotion. How did you achieve to inspire them to work with so much passion?" Liu Shan asked.

Brian smiled as he answered with a question, "Liu Shan, what does virtue mean to you? What does it represent?"

"Represent?" Liu Shan asked before he paused in a thinking stance and answered, "Virtue is to act on what is right and to do what is good. To have patience; to forgive instead of seeking vengeance; to pay respect, not to show contempt."

"Indeed. Now, how are you going to respect someone? How do you make certain someone will not seek vengeance? How can you determine what is right and what is wrong?" Brian asked. Receiving a questioning gaze, he said, "There is no answer to that. Even the most virtuous man can fall back into vengeance when his direst thing is taken from him." He thought about the battle of Yiling. "No man would respect you if you ask for it. You have to earn it. Not by doing good, but by trying to reach your dreams and helping others to do the same."

"Norms and values come forth from that and tell us what is right and what is wrong. Rules by the one in charge will be law, but you need to be acknowledged as their leader to let people listen to you," Brian continued before he added, "My people trust my judgment and see that I am trying to better their quality of life. Thus, they respect me and help me for their own selfish reasons. By seeing others help them, they grow closer together and will try to reach their dreams together, thus, eventually breaking down the selfishness," Brian concluded. Looking back at the young lord, he thought, I hope he got that. I'm just talking jibberish. I don't know how to rule a country.

Liu Shan looked intrigued as he responded, "I see. It seems I still have a lot to learn. Would you teach me some more of your wisdom? My father rarely had time to teach me about politics and the daily lives of common people, and Master Zhuge Liang was always too busy to teach me."

"Of course, I will," Brian responded before he switched back to the map and asked, "Speaking of Zhuge Liang, could you tell me more about him? I heard he was called the Sleeping Dragon and I believe he was Liu Bei's strategist, was he not?"

"Yes, he was. However, there was a quarrel between Zhuge Liang and my father, and he left. I believe he joined Sima Yi's side now to seek a solution for the chaos of the land," Liu Shan answered. Another quarrel... How convenient...

"Judging from the rumors I have heard, they haven't found a solution yet," Brian said as he looked at the map. "At this rate, they are going to be a bigger nuisance than a help."

"Would you oppose them in battle? Even having experienced your strength, I doubt we can win against Master Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi," Liu Shan voiced worriedly.

"It will be a tough battle, but it will not be impossible," Brian responded as he turned around and added, "But let us not worry about that for now. There are a few things I want to check up on, so why don't you accompany me?"

"It would be an honor."

As expected, Xingcai was waiting for them at the house's exit, holding the reins of their horses in her hands. "Good morning, Lord Brian," she greeted with a respectful bow.

"Good morning, Lady Xing. I hope the tour through our little city was to your liking," Brian asked sincerely.

"It was a delight," she answered with a faint smile. "It was refreshing to see so many people in high spirits while they work to restore their homes in these troubled times. I wonder how you achieved such success?"

"It is trust," Liu Shan answered in his new friend's place. "They have unconditional trust in the one that protects and leads them. Isn't that right?"

"Yes, it is. But although the city is changing nicely, it is far from what it should become," Brian answered as he untied the rope of his horse. Reading the confused expressions of his interlocutors, he added, "For this city to be successful, we need more than just stable houses and a safe environment."

"This city looks quite finished already though. What more could you wish for?" Xingcai asked, confused as she stepped onto her horse and followed her two lords into the city.

"It still misses several crucial facilities though. Firstly, the surrounding lands on the east are still unused, despite the fertile soil. Secondly, we still miss an animal farm that can provide this town with additional luxuries. Thirdly, the city may have reached a higher form, but the people have not. If I want them to continue to grow, we need knowledge. A library and academy should solve that problem."

"That makes sense, but there is more needed than just the structure to make it work as an academy and a library. You need teachers who will teach the students. You need wisdom from books, and you'll need equipment," Xingcai summed up. "Where are you going to get those?"

"There are plenty of teachers and books out there. You just have to find them first," Brian answered. "Create a base for them to shine, and the rest will follow," he added as they entered the borders of his town, and his guests understood what he meant.

Although the people were sweating and covered in dirt, their faces shone brightly with satisfaction. Knowing they could return home without worrying about food or safety, they could focus on their tasks. "Stack them up like this. Otherwise, the structure will not hold," could be heard from an experienced constructor who was teaching young, inexperienced workers. "We need more clay over here!" another voice rang through the air.

However, just as Brian believed everything was going smoothly, he saw a horse rushing towards him, carrying a familiar rider with a worried face. "Lu Su, what's wrong?" Brian asked, not even attempting to believe nothing was wrong.

"It is Lord Sun Quan! He is sick!" the strategist reported, his expression as worried as his voice.

A message about a new battle showed up in Brian's HUD, another opportunity where fame could be earned.

Brian wasted little time asking further as he responded, "We have no time to waste. Let's go!" before rushing towards Enkuma.

Kong Rong? One of the seven scholars of Jian'an is on the battlefield? Why doesn't it surprise me that I can find the medicine here, Brian concluded as he rode forward onto a foreign land, just past An Ding near the Wei River.

As the map of the battle appeared in his HUD, a group of soldiers could be seen in the distance. This unconventional battle focused on defenses, where fame could be easily gained. The landscape was rugged, with the Wei River glistening nearby and hills providing natural fortifications. The air was tense, filled with the sounds of distant preparations for battle.

"Stop right there! You have no permission to enter Master Kong Rong's land!" one of the soldiers shouted threateningly, his spear ready to engage.

Brian's eyes narrowed, his mind racing. So, this is how they want to play it? "My apologies, but we had no choice. My friend is very ill, and I heard Lord Kong Rong knows of a medicine that could help him," Brian responded carefully, although he was certain it was in vain. There was already a battle menu in front of him, and the warriors he spoke to were clearly marked as enemies. The soldiers shifted their eyes to Lu Su and the ill Sun Quan, who was sitting just behind his strategist on the horse. At that moment, their eyes shot open, and a mischievous smile appeared on their faces.

A battle where fame can be easily gained. Are you really going to do this? I don't want to begin an attack, but you're giving me little choice here.

The chief guard turned back and responded, "I'm sorry, but we can't let you go through without the master's permission. Master Kong Rong is currently away, and I doubt he will return in the next couple of days."

Lies. All lies, Brian thought, his eyes darting to the map in his HUD showing Kong Rong nearby. Reports indicate Kong Rong is taking to the battlefield. Closing his eyes briefly to gather his resolve, he responded, "That's a shame. Now you have no chance of survival left," before he drew his weapon and commanded, "Battle formation! Lu Su, protect Sun Quan!"

"Wha?!" the head guard let out, shocked, just too late to properly block the incoming charge. "Aahh!" he screamed in pain as both his weapon and the arm holding it fell to the ground. He was quickly silenced by an upward strike from Zhao Yun's spear.

None questioned Brian's command, but Brian still felt the need to explain his actions as he raised his voice and explained, "Kong Rong is in the area to the south. Try to subdue the enemy forces without killing them as quickly as possible. Time is of the essence."

"Yes, Milord!" Zhao Yun acknowledged as his spear danced fluently through the crowd, his enemies succumbing to his skill.

"Understood! Leave it to me!" Xingcai responded as she charged forward, slamming her shield into her enemies to knock them unconscious.

The few soldiers that stood there were quickly beaten and captured. With his new horse Hex Mark, Brian rode straight into the next base, his new dual swords slashing through the enemy forces like a knife through butter. The clashing of metal rang through the air, mingling with the shouts of soldiers and the cries of the wounded.

It was a one-sided battle, although Brian did everything in his power not to make it a massacre. A quick lean back made him dodge a spear assault, and using his momentum, he slammed the hilt of his sword on the opponent's temple as he swept his feet at the same time. A swordsman charged in, but he was quickly disarmed, figuratively speaking.

As his soldiers tied up the unconscious warriors as they were used to by now, the three officers charged forward yet again, not showing a moment of hesitation. "There is a good chance there is an ambush waiting for us further up ahead. Be prepared for it!" Brian ordered as he led the way.

"Understood! We will not fall for any of their tricks!" Zhao Yun responded.

"What's the use of an ambush that doesn't hide? No matter. We will quickly eliminate the enemy ambush!" Xingcai rallied.

Just as Brian predicted, there was a hastily-assembled ambush waiting for them in the next base, but they were not prepared for an enemy who had anticipated it. "Don't move! The enemy wants us to panic!" the enemy officer ordered before he was knocked unconscious by the dull side of Brian's blade.

The morale of this unconventional battle had shifted drastically in Brian's favor, but there was something else in Brian's sight that caught his attention. A familiar blue bottle, its appearance feeling more Egyptian than ancient Chinese in the lord's eyes. Hua Tuo's healing elixir? What is it doing here?

Just as Zhao Yun was about to knock the last remaining soldier out, Brian ordered, "Stand down, Zhao Yun. I need to interrogate him."

"As you wish, my lord," Zhao Yun responded, guiding his spear at his side, jamming it on the ground as an additional way of intimidation.

As Brian walked towards the defeated warrior, the fear-driven man still had the guts to say, "Torture me as you desire! I... I... I am not saying anything!"

"Torture?" Brian repeated, confused. "Are you an imbecile? This is your moment to make a deal, and you're spouting nonsense." He crouched to be at eye level and added, "Let's try this again, shall we?" He brought the bottle into view and asked, "What is this, and where did you get it from? Answer me rightly, and you are a free man in my kingdom."

The man looked surprisingly shocked at the proposal, especially after seeing the young lord's honest expression. Looking at the ground in front of him, he answered, "It is from the prisoner. My lord had ordered us to capture him when he wandered through our land. I believe his name is Hua Tuo..."

Brian looked intrigued as he said, "Where is he held captive?"

An hour later. Brian's main base.

"Sun Quan, please hold on for a little while longer. Lord Brian should be here at any moment," Lu Su tried to reassure his former lord, who was burning up even worse with each hour that passed by. The tension in the tent was palpable, every breath of Sun Quan's labored and heavy.

"Brother, hold on," Sun Shangxiang wished as she placed another cold towel on his forehead and thought, Please hurry, my lord. Her hands trembled slightly as she dipped the towel back into the bowl of cool water, her eyes never leaving her brother's flushed face.

Just then, the gallop of horses could be heard, and the figures of their companions appeared in the distance, quickly approaching. The ground seemed to shake with each powerful stride of the horses, dust kicking up behind them. Two figures, for Zhao Yun had stayed behind to guide the prisoners back to the camp.

Although Sun Shangxiang recognized Xingcai and Brian immediately, the young black-haired man who was sitting behind her lord was unknown to her. Her heart leapt with a mixture of hope and anxiety. Brian stopped his horse abruptly, jumped off, helped his pillion off, and said, "There he is."

The unknown man kneeled next to the lying Sun Quan, gave him a quick inspection, and said, "He has an infection and a fever. He most probably has been bitten by a poisonous insect. This medicine should be able to destroy the poison," Hua Tuo added as he took his elixir, slowly lifted Sun Quan's head, and poured a shot into his mouth. The liquid glistened as it trickled down Sun Quan's throat, every eye in the tent following its path. Making sure his patient had drunk it all, he whispered, "Now you just wait and give the medicine time to do its work. Tomorrow morning he should be back to his old self."

"Thank you very much! I don't know how we could repay you," Sun Shangxiang responded gratefully. Her voice was thick with emotion, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.

The doctor turned his eyes on Brian as he answered, "The gratitude for freeing me is deeper than the debt of this treatment. Thank your lord for his kindness." Hua Tuo stood up, bowed to Brian, and added, "I owe you my life. Although I am no warrior, I can treat your men's wounds after the battle. Please accept my services."

Brian looked a moment at Xingcai as a previous conversation roamed his mind before he turned back and responded, "Although it sounds like a tempting offer, I am in no need for just one doctor on the battlefield. If you still feel like serving me, please become a teacher and teach others your craft. I'll pay you to spread your knowledge to anyone who is willing to follow it. Do you still wish to serve me?"

"You rather wish to use me to enlighten your people than to use me in war? I wish nothing else but to serve such a lord," Hua Tuo humbly answered. His eyes shone with gratitude and respect. And with both the medicine delivered, the prisoners freed, and Kong Rong defeated, the battle was over.

Brian had always questioned the Dynasty Warriors franchise, or better said, the story of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The incorrectness of characters; the romanization of events; the unlikeliness of skill where a man could fight one-on-one against a tiger or could punch a landslide down with just a single punch. Although some mechanisms at least made sense now that he was in the game, the fact he was face-to-face with a tamed tiger made anything but sense.

"I am not even sure what to call you," Brian said to himself as he stood up, the mighty beast sitting as a tamed cat patiently waiting for a command. The tiger's amber eyes watched him intently, every flicker of its tail displaying a surprising level of intelligence. "What about Azeil?" he asked. Azeil seemed to like it as its tail wagged from left to right in a way that was unmistakably a good sign. "Azeil it is. Now, where do I keep you?"

The rear door of his house opened as the figure of another tiger stood in the opening to his garden. Unlike two days prior, Sun Quan's face had regained its original color, and the smile on his face was more than enough to conclude he had regained his good health. The sight of the tiger immediately drew his attention, a look of awe and admiration crossing his features.

"Sun Quan, I am glad to see you. I assume Hua Tuo's treatment was a success," Brian said welcomingly, the tiger at his feet turning his head to the newcomer. Azeil's ears perked up, but he remained calm, sensing no threat.

"Yes, thanks to you. Pardon my intrusion, but I came here to thank you for that," the son of the tiger of Jiang Dong responded before he turned to the beast. His eyes began to shine as he asked, "And who might you be, you beautiful creature?" He extended a hand cautiously, allowing Azeil to sniff him, a gesture of mutual respect.

They really love their tigers, Brian thought as he answered, "His name is Azeil. I found him wounded when I was checking the area near the river bank for a future farm. Not sure how tame he is, but it seems he has taken a liking to me after I treated him." Brian patted the tiger gently, marveling at the softness of its fur and the strength hidden beneath.

Sun Quan looked into the beast's eyes before he responded, "It seems he has accepted you as his leader. Although I doubt he is tame to everyone, he will listen to you without hesitation."

Brian looked concerned as he confessed, "That's great and all, but I am not sure where to keep him. I am not certain how much space he needs, and how to raise him. It is good that he follows me, but what if he attacks the villagers, or they attack him?" The thought of a potential incident troubled him, the last thing he wanted was for his people to live in fear.

"Then he just needs to learn not to attack villagers, and the city people need to be able to recognize him as your partner," another low voice commented as a suspicious figure leaned against the rear door. The unexpected voice caused Azeil to bristle momentarily, but a calming hand from Brian kept the tiger from reacting aggressively. The tiger reared up and turned around to the sudden voice, but before it could growl, the slick-back man added, "Do not worry. I might be an evil man, but I owe your master a debt that I have yet to repay."

"Good morning, Master Fa Zheng. I assume you have a plan on how to achieve that," Brian asked with his usual welcoming smile. The strategist's presence always brought a sense of unpredictability, but his loyalty was unquestionable.

"I have, but you owe me after that. My debt against yours. I wonder who will succumb first," Fa Zheng grinned as he approached his lord. His eyes twinkled with mischief, always enjoying the mental chess he played with Brian. Just at that moment, Brian received another message in his HUD. Your bond with Fa Zheng has strengthened. That easily? Not much of an evil man if a bond is that easily created, or I am a worse person than I thought I would be, Brian thought as Fa Zheng pulled a blue-collar out of his pocket, gave it to his lord, and said, "This should be sufficient for now. Any more, and it would only be a nuisance to both of you. Go and introduce this little kitten to the city now." The collar gleamed in the sunlight, symbolizing not just ownership but a bond of trust and leadership.

"Thank you, Fa Zheng," Brian said, placing the collar gently around Azeil's neck. The tiger didn't resist, seemingly understanding the significance of the gesture.

Thirty minutes later.

"To think I would be able to walk through a city where the people see me as their hero instead of the bringer of war. It truly is the start of a new age," Sun Quan commented as he rode alongside his master. "I have walked far looking for this. Who knew I had to taste defeat before I could see it." He smiled, quickly adding, "It was the best defeat I have ever tasted, for it gave me a friend I could only dream of in these times of turmoil, and a future to look forward to."

Is this...? Brian wondered as he listened carefully, realizing he was about to complete another bond. "You saved my life and took care of my people without wishing anything in return. I don't know what more changes we will go through, but our friendship will survive until the end of time." Maximum friendship reached. Sun Quan gained the Support Skill Rouse Recovery!

The tiger walking alongside the two men seemed to feel a shift in their bond as the small tension in its shoulders fell, and even its mouth started to relax. Brian nodded to Sun Quan as he responded, "Indeed. But to make that new age a reality, there is still much we need to do."

Sun Quan wanted to react, only to see a familiar pair of eyes looking at them from the distance. Realizing there was someone else desperately waiting for some alone time with their lord, he said, "That is an issue for another time. For now, we should enjoy the little things that stand in front of us."

Just as Brian was wondering what he meant, Azeil shot forward, running in a playful manner towards an unknown destination. "Azeil!" he shouted in an attempt to stop it, only to realize the tiger was running towards Sun Shangxiang and Lianshi. Just as he was about to collide with the two, he stopped in his tracks, jumped onto two feet, and made a gentle attempt to hug the two ladies with his front paws.

As Shangxiang's giggle echoed through the air, Sun Quan laid a hand on Brian's shoulder and whispered, "I am looking forward to the day I can not only call you my brother in heart," before he rode away. Wait a minute, Brian thought as Sun Quan was already out of his sight, and he had recovered from his shock. Did he just consent?

As the tiger returned to his owner, his tail still wagging quickly thanks to the attention he had received, the two girls walked to their leader, both dressed in their casual clothing. "Good evening, my lord. I see you have made a new friend," Lianshi started with a smile as gentle as the breeze of that evening.

"What is his name?" Shangxiang asked curiously as her eyes sparkled like the moon on this cloudless evening.

Brian was momentarily stunned before he softly slapped himself back to earth and answered, "Azeil. I found him lying wounded in the eastern parts, near the river. From one thing came another, and apparently, I am his master now."

"That's amazing. It is difficult to tame a tiger, yet you made it sound so easy," Shangxiang responded in awe.

"That explains how you tamed my lady so quickly," Lianshi jokingly added, the young tigress suddenly blushing heavily.

"Shi!" she let out in an attempt to silence her guardian and close friend.

She wasn't prepared for what came after when Brian smiled and responded, "I hope I have not. I kinda liked that fiery spirit." He gently laid his fingers to the side of her face as he added, "Although the flowers were beautiful, I am glad you chose to leave them out. They didn't suit you."

Although they had a clear effect on him, for they had dressed themselves to impress, his presence made their hearts beat rapidly as well. Whether it was his honest, truthful eyes as he treated them with unexplainable kindness and love; his overwhelming charisma as their lord; the kindness he showed to his people; the ideas he came up with to use his prisoners to the best of their ability; or just his reassuring strength.

As they walked through the city, the full scope of Brian's accomplishments became clear. The once rough and uneven sandy paths were now replaced by sturdy stone pathways, making it easier for people to walk and transport goods. The town was bustling with activity, the transformation evident in every corner.

Before they began their walk, Brian turned to Lianshi and Sun Shangxiang, who had just joined them. "Would you both like to explore the city with me? There's much to see, and I'd love to hear your thoughts."

Lianshi smiled warmly, "We'd love to, my lord."

Sun Shangxiang nodded enthusiastically, "Absolutely. I'm curious to see how things have changed."

Their first stop was the blacksmith's workshop. Zhang Tian, the blacksmith, was hammering away at a piece of metal, his face glistening with sweat. When he noticed Brian, he paused and wiped his brow.

"My lord! It's good to see you," Zhang Tian greeted him with a broad smile.

Brian returned the smile, "Zhang Tian, I see you're as busy as ever. How are the new resources working out for you?"

"They're fantastic, my lord. Thanks to the iron and coal, I can produce high-quality weapons and tools. But..." he trailed off, looking thoughtful.

"But what?" Brian prompted.

Zhang Tian hesitated before continuing, "To truly excel and expand my work, I need more than just iron and coal. I need skilled apprentices who can learn the craft and help with the workload. And better materials like gold and copper could help reinforce the equipment, making them even more durable and effective."

Brian nodded, understanding the blacksmith's needs. "I see. We'll keep an eye out for talented individuals and gather the materials you need. We strive for the best here, and that includes ensuring our blacksmith is well-supported."

Zhang Tian's eyes lit up with gratitude. "Thank you, my lord. I won't disappoint you."

Brian then leaned in closer to inspect a sword the blacksmith was working on. "This blade is impressive. The balance feels perfect, and the edge is razor-sharp."

Zhang Tian's face beamed with pride. "It's a new technique I've been experimenting with. I think it could make our soldiers' weapons unmatched."

The two men started discussing the finer points of blacksmithing, their enthusiasm growing with each passing moment. Lianshi watched them with a mixture of amusement and endearment. "It's like watching two kids talk about their favorite toys," she whispered to Sun Shangxiang.

Sun Shangxiang grinned, sharing their passion. "I think it's great. A well-made weapon can turn the tide of battle. It's amazing to see how much thought and effort goes into each piece."

Zhang Tian overheard and smiled at Sun Shangxiang. "You're right, Lady Sun. Every detail matters."

Brian nodded in agreement. "Exactly. It's not just about making a weapon. It's about creating something that can protect our people and secure our future."

The conversation continued for a while, the three of them discussing designs, materials, and techniques. Lianshi, though not as passionate about weapons, enjoyed seeing Brian and Sun Shangxiang so engaged.

As they left the blacksmith's workshop, Brian led Lianshi, Sun Shangxiang, and Azeil to the bustling teahouse. The transformation of the teahouse was evident in every detail, from the carefully arranged tables to the fragrant teas being served. The warm, inviting atmosphere was a testament to Li Mei's dedication.

Li Mei greeted them with a warm smile, but her expression faltered slightly when she noticed Azeil walking alongside them. "My lord, Lady Lianshi, Lady Sun Shangxiang, welcome! Please, have a seat. I'll bring you our finest tea," she said, her eyes warily watching the tiger.

Brian noticed her apprehension and gently patted Azeil's head. "Don't worry, Li Mei. Azeil is as gentle as a housecat, despite his size. He's been well-trained."

Azeil seemed to sense Li Mei's discomfort and, in a display of his domesticated nature, he sat down calmly and nuzzled Brian's leg. Li Mei's initial fear softened into a tentative smile. "I see. He certainly seems well-behaved. It's just... unusual to see a tiger so close."

Brian chuckled. "Understandable. Azeil is a unique companion. Now, about the teahouse—I wanted to revisit our earlier discussion about expanding. Have you given any more thought to the private rooms for business meetings and intimate gatherings?"

Li Mei's eyes lit up with surprise and delight. "You remembered, my lord! Yes, I've been thinking a lot about it. Private rooms would add a touch of elegance and exclusivity, making the teahouse a premier spot for both social and professional engagements."

Brian nodded. "Exactly. It's all about creating a space where people feel special and valued. With the current success, expanding in this way seems like the natural next step."

Li Mei's excitement was palpable. "I agree completely. The private rooms would be a wonderful addition. And with the herbs we've acquired, the teas are already a big hit."

Brian took a sip of the tea, savoring its rich flavor. "Speaking of herbs, do you need any more specific ones to enhance your blends? We want to make sure you have everything you need."

Li Mei thought for a moment. "We have cardamom, cinnamon, and some star anise from our trade routes. However, adding tropical fruits like mango, pineapple, or lychee could create unique and exotic blends that would definitely attract more customers."

Brian made a mental note to check if they could grow these fruits locally. "That's a great idea. I'll see what we can do about sourcing those tropical fruits. Perhaps we can even grow them ourselves if the conditions are right."

As they discussed, a few customers nearby showed interest in their conversation. One of them, an older gentleman with a refined air, leaned over and said, "Excuse me, my lord, but I couldn't help but overhear your plans. The idea of private rooms and exotic tea blends is splendid. It would certainly make this teahouse the talk of the town."

Lianshi smiled at the interaction. "It seems your ideas are already winning people over, my lord."

Sun Shangxiang added, "I can see this place becoming a central hub for both locals and visitors. It's exciting to think about the possibilities."

Li Mei's smile grew wider. "With your support and these wonderful ideas, I believe we can create something truly special here. The teahouse will not only be a place for relaxation but also a cornerstone of our community."

Brian nodded, pleased with the positive reception. "Then it's settled. We'll start planning the expansions and look into sourcing the additional ingredients. Let's make this teahouse the pride of our town."

As they finished their tea and stood to leave, Brian could see the excitement and determination in Li Mei's eyes. The teahouse was already thriving, but with these new plans, it was poised to become an even more integral part of the community.

Azeil, sensing the friendly atmosphere, nuzzled Li Mei's leg gently before they left, earning a soft laugh from her. "He really is just a big housecat, isn't he?" she remarked, finally at ease with the tiger's presence.

With a final nod to Li Mei, Brian led Lianshi, Sun Shangxiang, and Azeil out of the teahouse, eager to continue their tour and see what other improvements and opportunities awaited them in the town.

As they left the teahouse, Brian, Lianshi, Sun Shangxiang, and Azeil made their way toward the stables. The transformation of the city was evident here as well; the once dilapidated and neglected stables now stood as a testament to hard work and dedication.

The stable master, Na Jo, greeted them warmly. His love for the animals was apparent in the way he moved and spoke. "Welcome, my lord! Ladies! And... what a magnificent creature you have there!" he said, his eyes widening with admiration as he looked at Azeil.

"Good day, Na Jo," Brian replied with a nod. "I'm glad to see the stables in such good condition. We have a new addition to our city—Azeil, the tiger. He needs a place to stay when he's not with me. Can you help us with that?"

Na Jo's eyes sparkled with excitement. "A place for a tiger, you say? That's quite the challenge, but I'd love to help. We'll need to create a secure and comfortable enclosure for him, with enough space for him to move around."

Brian smiled, appreciating the stable master's enthusiasm. "Exactly. We want Azeil to feel at home here. What do you suggest?"

As they discussed the plans, Azeil sniffed around, seemingly approving of the location. Surprisingly, the horses in the stable remained calm and even approached the tiger with curiosity, their mental connection to Brian keeping them at ease. Some of the horses nuzzled against Lianshi and Sun Shangxiang, sensing their bond with Brian.

Na Jo was truly impressed. "The horses aren't afraid of Azeil. It's as if they know he's part of the family. This makes things much easier. We can use this area here," he said, leading them to a spacious corner of the stables. "We'll reinforce the fencing, add comfortable bedding, and ensure he has access to fresh water and shade."

Na Jo immediately started exploring the possibilities for Azeil's enclosure. "We can use some of the spare materials from the blacksmith and carpenter to build a sturdy enclosure," he suggested. "And maybe we can think about adding other animals in the future. Imagine having war elephants, or even bears trained for battle. The possibilities are endless!"

Lianshi and Sun Shangxiang watched with amusement and admiration as Na Jo's excitement grew. "I think Azeil will be very happy here," Lianshi commented, smiling at the stable master's enthusiasm.

Sun Shangxiang nodded in agreement. "And who knows, maybe we'll have a whole menagerie of animals soon enough."

Brian chuckled at their comments. "That sounds like a fantastic idea, Na Jo. Let's make it happen. Azeil will have a place to call his own, and we can start thinking about other animals that could join our cause."

Na Jo beamed with pride and determination. "Consider it done, my lord. We'll make sure Azeil has the best home possible, and we'll be ready for any other animals you decide to bring in."

As they left the stables, Brian felt a sense of satisfaction knowing that Azeil would have a safe and comfortable place to stay. The city was growing and evolving, and with the dedication of people like Na Jo, the future looked promising.

As they continued their tour, Brian noticed the high morale among his soldiers. The training grounds were alive with activity, soldiers encouraging each other, sparring, and engaging in various drills. It was clear they had taken Brian's teachings to heart, respecting one another and pushing each other to their limits.

Zhang Jun, walking alongside Brian, pointed out a group of soldiers who were boxing for endurance training. "The men are getting stronger and faster, my lord. They are more disciplined and motivated, thanks to the training methods you've implemented."

Brian nodded, pleased with the progress. "It's good to see them thriving. Respect, discipline, and mutual encouragement are crucial. But we must also ensure they have the best tools and conditions to continue improving."

As they approached the armory, a soldier stood up and saluted. "My lord, our equipment has seen better days. We do our best to maintain it, but we could use better materials and more advanced tools."

Brian examined a piece of armor, noting the wear and tear. "You're right. We need to ensure you have the best equipment possible. I'll speak with the blacksmith about securing more resources and possibly expanding his workshop."

Lianshi and Sun Shangxiang nodded in agreement. "The soldiers deserve the best, considering how hard they work," Lianshi remarked.

Sun Shangxiang added, "Better equipment will not only improve their efficiency but also their morale. Knowing they have the best tools for the job will boost their confidence."

As they continued their inspection, Azeil trotted alongside Brian. The sight of the tiger initially made the soldiers nervous, their movements hesitant as they watched the large predator.

Zhang Jun, noticing their reactions, chuckled. "Don't worry, men. If Azeil is with Lord Brian, he's just another member of our team."

Gradually, the soldiers relaxed, their apprehension melting away as Azeil displayed a playful demeanor, occasionally batting at loose stones or chasing his own tail. The tiger's antics provided a welcome distraction, drawing laughter and easing the tension among the troops.

Brian observed this with a smile. "Azeil seems to have a knack for boosting morale. I think he'll fit in just fine here."

They moved on to inspect the living quarters. While functional, they were sparse and showed signs of heavy use. Brian frowned, knowing that these conditions could eventually wear down the mental resilience of his troops. "We need to upgrade these barracks," he said thoughtfully. "Better beds, proper ventilation, and perhaps some personal space for each soldier."

Zhang Jun nodded. "The soldiers have been resilient, but improved living conditions would certainly help them maintain their mental health and morale. They need a comfortable place to rest and recuperate."

Brian continued, "And the training grounds need to be expanded. More space will allow for diverse training routines and accommodate the growing number of soldiers. We'll need to level more ground and possibly build additional structures."

Zhang Jun smiled. "We have the manpower for it. With Gong Jo's expertise and the soldiers' efforts, we can expand and upgrade the training grounds effectively."

As they walked through the bustling construction areas where soldiers and laborers worked side by side, Brian felt a renewed sense of purpose. The integration of military and civic duties had created a unique bond among his people, but he knew more had to be done to support them.

"Let's also ensure that we provide facilities for mental well-being," Brian added. "Counseling sessions, recreational activities, and time off are essential for their overall health. We need to think beyond just physical training and combat readiness."

Sun Shangxiang looked thoughtful. "Perhaps we could also have a garden or a peaceful area where soldiers can relax and meditate. A place to find tranquility amidst all the training and construction."

Lianshi nodded. "That sounds wonderful. It's important they have a place to clear their minds and find peace."

Brian smiled at the ideas. "Excellent suggestions. Let's discuss these plans with Gong Jo and see how quickly we can implement them."

With a clear vision for the future, Brian felt optimistic about the changes they could make. His army was not just a fighting force but a community that needed nurturing and support to thrive in the long term. As they continued their inspection, Brian made mental notes of all the areas that required improvement, determined to make his vision of a prosperous and united city a reality. He also thought about implementing these ideas on a city-wide scale, ensuring that all his people had time to rest and rejuvenate, preventing overwork and maintaining high morale.

Brian watched as soldiers engaged in various drills, their camaraderie evident in their interactions. Two soldiers sparred with wooden swords, their movements precise and respectful. "Come on, you can do better than that!" one soldier shouted encouragingly to his partner.

Nearby, a group of soldiers performed push-ups in unison, counting aloud to keep pace. "Twenty-one, twenty-two, twenty-three! Keep going, don't give up!" one of them urged, pushing himself to the limit alongside his comrades.

In another corner, soldiers were engaged in a boxing drill, each punch thrown with determination. "That's it! Keep your guard up and push through!" a soldier shouted, sweat pouring down his face as he sparred with his partner.

Brian smiled as he overheard their conversations. "I'm feeling stronger every day," one soldier said to another. "These drills are tough, but they're making a real difference."

"Yeah, I've never felt more fit in my life. Lord Brian's training methods are really paying off," another soldier replied, his voice filled with gratitude.

The soldiers' discipline and mutual respect were clear, their dedication to improving both their physical and mental well-being evident in every movement. As Brian continued his inspection, he knew that with the right support and resources, his soldiers would continue to thrive and become an even more formidable force.

Brian, Lianshi, and Sun Shangxiang strolled through the bustling merchant district, the two women linking their arms with Brian's. The atmosphere felt lively, and Brian decided to enjoy the experience as a customer rather than a lord inspecting his city.

As they wandered, Brian's attention was drawn to a jewelry stall adorned with delicate, handcrafted pieces. "Let's take a look here," he said, guiding them toward the stall. The merchant greeted them warmly, displaying an array of necklaces, bracelets, and rings.

Brian picked up a necklace with a small, intricately carved pendant. "This looks beautiful. What do you think?" he asked, showing it to Lianshi and Sun Shangxiang.

Lianshi smiled. "It's lovely, my lord. But is it necessary to spend money on such things?"

Sun Shangxiang added, "Yes, wouldn't it be better to save for the future?"

Brian chuckled softly, wrapping an arm around each of them. "It's important to save, but spending money also keeps the economy thriving. When we buy from our merchants, we're supporting their businesses and encouraging growth. It's all part of building a prosperous community."

The merchant beamed at Brian's words. "Thank you, my lord. Your support means a lot to us."

Brian purchased the necklace and handed it to Lianshi. "For you. A small token of appreciation for everything you do."

Lianshi blushed, accepting the gift with a grateful smile. "Thank you, my lord. It's beautiful."

Not wanting to show favoritism, Brian quickly turned back to the stall and picked up a delicate bracelet with intricate designs. He handed it to Sun Shangxiang. "And this is for you. To show my appreciation for your courage and spirit."

Sun Shangxiang's cheeks turned pink as she accepted the gift. "Thank you, my lord. It's lovely."

They continued their stroll, stopping at a food stall selling sweet pastries. Brian bought a few, handing one to each of his companions. "Here, try these. They're delicious."

Sun Shangxiang took a bite, her eyes lighting up. "These are amazing! You were right, my lord."

Brian grinned, enjoying their enjoyment. As they moved on, they approached a pottery stall with beautifully crafted bowls and vases. Brian's eyes lingered on a large, intricately designed bowl.

"This would look great in the barracks or maybe in the garden," he mused aloud.

A guard approached them, bowing slightly. "My lord, Advisor Delan mentioned that you should be mindful of spending too much."

Brian laughed. "I appreciate the concern. I'll discuss it with him, but I'm considering it for the barracks or the garden. We need to make sure our soldiers have a good living environment too."

The guard nodded, understanding Brian's reasoning. "Very well, my lord. I'll inform Advisor Delan of your thoughts."

As they moved through the district, Brian also made a point to speak with various merchants. He asked for their opinions on the current layout and organization of the market.

One merchant, an older woman selling spices, voiced her thoughts. "The market is doing well, but it's a bit chaotic. Food stalls are scattered everywhere, and there's no clear path for customers to follow. It would be helpful if similar stalls were grouped together and there were signs to guide people."

Another merchant, a young man selling pottery, added, "I agree. Sometimes customers have a hard time finding what they're looking for. A more organized layout would make shopping easier and more enjoyable."

Brian nodded thoughtfully. "Thank you for your feedback. I want to ensure this market thrives and that everyone can benefit from it. I'll work on improving the organization and signage."

Lianshi and Sun Shangxiang exchanged glances, appreciating Brian's attentiveness to their community's needs. As they walked, they each hugged his arm a little tighter, feeling a deepening connection to him.

By the time they finished their tour, the merchant district felt more like a vibrant, growing community than ever before. Brian's presence as a customer and a lord had made a positive impact, and his companions were grateful for the experience.

Brian, Lianshi, and Sun Shangxiang continued their tour, heading towards the eastern outskirts of the city where the unused lands were slowly being transformed into farms. The progress was evident, even if it was still in the early stages. The fields, once barren and neglected, now showed signs of life and potential.

As they approached, they saw several farmers working diligently, tilling the soil and planting seeds. A few cows grazed peacefully in a nearby pasture, their soft lowing adding to the pastoral ambiance. A small group of goats bleated, wandering near an improvised chicken coop where a few chickens pecked at the ground, clucking contentedly.

"It's impressive to see how much progress has been made in such a short time," Lianshi remarked, her eyes scanning the burgeoning agricultural landscape. "The land is starting to come alive again."

Sun Shangxiang nodded in agreement. "Yes, the farmers are doing an excellent job. The cows and goats are already producing milk. I wonder what else we could make from it?"

Brian, who had been deep in thought, suddenly perked up at the mention of milk. His mind wandered to the possibilities, and a dreamy expression crossed his face. "Cheese," he murmured almost to himself, his eyes glazing over slightly.

Lianshi and Sun Shangxiang exchanged curious glances. "Cheese?" Lianshi asked, her curiosity piqued. "What's that, my lord?"

Brian snapped back to reality, realizing he had spoken aloud. He chuckled, slightly embarrassed. "Cheese is... well, it's a food made from the milk of cows, goats, or other mammals. It's delicious, versatile, and can be used in so many dishes. Imagine something creamy, salty, and rich."

Sun Shangxiang tilted her head, trying to imagine it. "I've never heard of such a thing. What does it taste like?"

Brian's eyes lit up with excitement as he explained. "It's hard to describe exactly, but it's wonderful. There are so many different kinds of cheese—some are soft and spreadable, others are firm and can be sliced or grated. Each type has its unique flavor, ranging from mild and creamy to sharp and tangy."

Lianshi leaned in, clearly intrigued. "It sounds delightful. How is it made?"

Brian grinned, enjoying their interest. "The process involves curdling the milk and then separating the solid curds from the liquid whey. The curds are then pressed and aged to develop flavor. It takes some time and care, but the result is worth it."

The dreamy look returned to his face, and he added, "Just imagine, fresh bread with melted cheese, or a savory cheese sauce over vegetables..."

Both Lianshi and Sun Shangxiang's eyes widened as they began to understand the allure. "That sounds amazing," Sun Shangxiang said, almost drooling at the thought. "We must try to make it!"

Lianshi nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, my lord. We should explore this possibility further. It could be a wonderful addition to our food supplies."

Brian smiled at their eagerness. "I agree. I'll speak with the farmers and see if we can start experimenting with cheese-making. It will be a great way to use the milk from our cows and goats."

As they continued their walk, Brian's mind buzzed with the possibilities. He could almost taste the cheese, and the thought of introducing something so delightful to his new world filled him with excitement. The laughter and enthusiasm of Lianshi and Sun Shangxiang only added to his determination to make it happen.

They stopped near a small group of workers constructing a more permanent chicken coop. One of the workers, a young man, looked up and waved. "Hello, my lord! We're building a new coop to house more chickens. Soon, we'll have fresh eggs every day."

Brian smiled warmly. "Excellent work. Your efforts are greatly appreciated."

As they moved on, Lianshi glanced around the area and said, "It's truly remarkable how much progress has been made in such a short time. The land is starting to come alive again."

Sun Shangxiang nodded in agreement. "Yes, it's inspiring to see. The farmers are doing an excellent job. And with the cows and goats already producing milk, we have so many possibilities ahead of us."

Brian, still thinking about the cheese, added with a grin, "And we'll make sure to explore those possibilities. Fresh milk, eggs, and hopefully, cheese. There's so much potential here."

Lianshi looked thoughtful. "It will be a wonderful addition to our food supplies. It's amazing how you think of every detail, my lord."

Sun Shangxiang hugged Brian's arm affectionately. "And with your leadership, I have no doubt we'll achieve it."

Brian felt a surge of determination. "Indeed. There's still much to do, but I have faith in all of you. Together, we'll build a future where everyone can thrive."

As they walked back towards the city, the sight of the developing farms filled Brian with hope. The farmers' dedication and the community's spirit were clear signs that they were on the right path. It was a small start, but with continued effort and perseverance, he knew they would achieve great things.

"I am genuinely impressed by what we have seen today," Lianshi commented, her admiration evident in her voice. "The changes in the city and the farmland are incredible."

Sun Shangxiang nodded, her eyes shining with enthusiasm. "And it's all thanks to your vision, Brian. You truly inspire everyone around you."

Brian smiled, feeling a warm sense of accomplishment. "Let's make sure we support our farmers and provide them with everything they need," he said. "Their success is our success, and the foundation of a prosperous future."

Lianshi and Sun Shangxiang both smiled, their hearts warmed by Brian's words and vision for the future. The transformation of the unused lands into productive farms was a testament to their collective efforts, and it was only the beginning of what they could accomplish together.

As the sun began to set, the sky transformed into a canvas of vibrant oranges, pinks, and purples. Brian, Lianshi, and Sun Shangxiang walked together, the warm glow of the evening casting a serene light over the city. The air was filled with the sounds of people finishing their day's work and the distant laughter of children playing.

The three of them arrived at a cozy, inviting inn where they decided to have dinner. The innkeeper greeted them warmly, and they were led to a table near a window that offered a stunning view of the sunset. They ordered a simple but delicious meal, enjoying the fresh produce and meats that the town's efforts had brought to their tables.

As they ate, the conversation flowed naturally. They talked about the day's events, their plans for the future, and shared stories from their pasts. Lianshi and Sun Shangxiang's laughter mixed with the evening breeze, making Brian feel a sense of peace he hadn't known for a long time.

After dinner, they strolled to the town plaza, which was now alive with the activity of troubadours and storytellers. The plaza was illuminated by lanterns, casting a warm and inviting glow. A group of children sat in a circle, mesmerized by a storyteller using puppets to bring his tales to life.

Brian noticed Azeil, his tiger, sitting calmly by the side, watching the children with mild curiosity. Inspired by the joyful atmosphere, Brian decided to add a little more magic to the evening. He walked over to Azeil and whispered a few commands. The tiger, sensing the playful mood, stood up and began to perform a series of tricks.

Azeil jumped through hoops, balanced on his hind legs, and even bowed to the children, who erupted into delighted applause. Brian's own laughter mixed with the crowd's as he played with Azeil, showing off the tiger's intelligence and gentleness. Lianshi and Sun Shangxiang watched in surprise and admiration, their eyes sparkling with joy.

"He's amazing, Brian!" Sun Shangxiang exclaimed, clapping her hands in delight.

Lianshi nodded, her smile wide. "You've truly tamed him. It's incredible to see."

Brian grinned, feeling a warmth in his chest as he watched the people around him enjoy the moment. "Azeil is full of surprises," he said, giving the tiger a fond pat. "Just like this town."

As the night grew darker, they made their way to the bathhouse. The building was divided into separate sections for men and women, ensuring privacy and comfort for everyone. The soothing sound of flowing water and the faint scent of herbs created a relaxing atmosphere.

Brian and the men went to one side, while Lianshi and Sun Shangxiang joined the women on the other. The warm water and peaceful setting provided a perfect end to the day. Brian let the tension of his responsibilities wash away, his thoughts drifting back to the progress they had made and the bonds they had strengthened.

In the women's section, Lianshi and Sun Shangxiang shared a quiet moment, reflecting on the day's events. "Today was wonderful," Lianshi said softly, her voice filled with contentment.

Sun Shangxiang nodded, her cheeks still flushed from the excitement of the evening. "Yes, it was. Brian has a way of making everything feel special."

Time passed by until dusk had turned the city into a state of restful sleep. The candles in his city were put out, giving full glory to the beautiful view of a thousand stars illuminating the sky with their light. Despite that peaceful image, Brian's mind was not as peaceful.

Although he had enjoyed their date without a doubt, he was aware something was off this evening. Lianshi could hide it well behind her smile, but Shangxiang's increase in nervousness as time passed by was a signal he could not miss. When they arrived at his house, she barely dared to speak a word, and even Lianshi seemed to hesitate for some reason.

With his tiger resting in his rear garden, covered from any rain by the slant endings of his wooden roof, Brian turned his attention to the two women and softly said, "If there is something bugging you, please do not feel afraid to tell me. I mean, I accepted your feelings, so please share them with me."

He had to say no more. A sudden step forward; a quick pull on his robe; a kiss as inexperienced as one could be but as fierce as no one could be assaulted his lips. Shangxiang had finally broken through her shell. When she finally let him catch a moment to breathe, her expression had changed from nervousness to a pleading one as she asked, "Please take my first."

Lianshi wasn't planning to give up there as she stepped forward as well. As she kissed Brian, Azeil gave one look back to his master before laying his head on his paws and falling asleep.

Her kiss was more gentle, and if it wasn't for the next words she was about to say, he would have believed she was more experienced in the art of love. "Please take our firsts."

The entire evening played through Brian's mind as he looked at the two women before him. The gifts he had given them, the shared laughter over cheese, and the joy of watching Azeil's playful antics all came rushing back. Lianshi's necklace glinted in the dim light, reminding him of the moment he placed it around her neck, and how her eyes had sparkled with happiness. Sun Shangxiang's necklace, equally beautiful, had elicited a similar reaction, and he remembered the warmth he felt as she hugged his arm gratefully.

The dinner, the stroll through the market, the shared excitement over future plans for the teahouse and the stables – all these moments had built up to this. He could see the determination in their eyes, mingled with vulnerability and trust. The same trust they showed when they eagerly discussed the new plans for the city, their laughter mingling with the sounds of the bustling marketplace.

Brian's heart raced as he realized the depth of their feelings. They had shared so much together, not just as lord and followers, but as friends and companions. The bonds they had formed were strong, and the affection they showed him was genuine and heartfelt. This was more than just a simple request; it was a culmination of everything they had been through together, and an expression of the deep trust and love they had for him.

With Azeil settled peacefully, and the stars above them shining brightly, Brian felt a sense of clarity. He knew what he had to do. The evening had been filled with laughter, affection, and shared dreams. Now, it was time to embrace the future together, just as they had embraced the challenges and joys of the day.

"Are you sure about this?" he asked softly, looking into their eyes.

They both nodded, their expressions unwavering. Lianshi's gentle smile and Sun Shangxiang's determined gaze told him everything he needed to know.

"Then let's take this step together," he said, his voice filled with warmth and resolve.

A few candles illuminated Brian's bedroom in a humble light, pushing away just enough darkness for his eyes to burn his blessed situation forever into his memory. The first clothing that had been gently laid aside was the shoes. Brian's heart raced with a mixture of nervousness and excitement as he gently untied the laces, his fingers trembling slightly. The simple act of removing their shoes felt intimate, grounding him in the reality of the moment.

A kiss further, and the lint that kept his robe together split into two, all while his hands were starting their exploration of a territory unknown. His touch was tentative at first, his fingers brushing lightly against the fabric of their clothing. He could feel the warmth of their bodies radiating through the material, and it sent a thrill down his spine. Another red lint fell to the ground as Sun Shangxiang's jacket fell open before it was gently pushed off her shoulders, revealing her feminine shoulders, smooth as polished jade.

Lianshi's eyes, dark pools of anticipation, were patiently waiting for her turn, and Brian delivered when Shangxiang took a moment to breathe. His kiss was inexperienced but willing, a dance of lips exploring new grounds, as one hand loosened her bowtie. Her clothing loosened, revealing a beautiful new area to explore, her curves soft as ripe peaches. His thoughts quickly lost to his instincts as he explored Lianshi's collarbone, his touch like a whisper on silk. The softness of her skin beneath his fingertips was intoxicating, each stroke sending waves of desire coursing through him.

"Ah!" she let out a beautiful moan that only strengthened Brian's urge to continue in the side of her neck while feeling that Shangxiang had found what was hiding underneath his robe. A playful bite and Lianshi could no longer wait. Gently, she pushed him onto the bed with a smile, her eyes sparkling like evening stars, and let the remainder of her clothes fall to the floor, her form like a goddess sculpted from marble. He could not focus on that heavenly view for long as Shangxiang did the same, her well-trained body of a warrior on full display.

Pushing himself a bit further up the bed for better positioning, their lips met again. Her tongue entwined with his before she let out a moan to his touch, the sound a symphony of delight. A warm hand explored her lower back, smooth as porcelain, while another was going through her hair, as soft as a summer breeze. Suddenly, he let out a moan as Lianshi started kissing his chest, her lips like tender breezes against his skin, only for her to grin from pleasure as she slowly continued downwards.

Before he knew it, his lower clothing fell to the clear, and his fully naked body was in plain sight for the two women who were watching his member with silent awe. Just as Shangxiang wanted to rush things, Lianshi gently grabbed her hand and whispered, "That is no good, my lady. You mustn't rush this," before she gripped his junior and slowly stroked it up and down, her touch like the caress of silk.

The effect was clear as Brian's body started to tense, his lips letting out another moan. Shangxiang slowly worked her way down until she was inches away from his pole. She proved a quick learner as she took over Lianshi's task. However, she had not considered one important thing; her lower parts were defenseless. "Ah!" She cried out as an unknown intense sensation assaulted her every fiber, her body tensing up. "My l..lord... Please don't...Ah!" She tried to beg as she let out another moan.

Lianshi looked intrigued at her lover's fingerwork before she grinned, turned around on the bed in a similar position as her lady, and whispered, "Please don't forget about me, my love." Two beautiful backs, smooth as silk, turned towards him, one of them seductively shaking while the other was twitching to his handiwork. She didn't have to do anything more as his fingers satisfied her inner urges, her body heating up even further as sweat drops began to form. On the knowledge of books alone, she leaned forward and embraced his member with her lips, her touch like the tender caress of petals.

She tried to avoid her teeth as her tongue and lips continued to tease him, both having the desired effect as Brian's noises became louder and heavier. The sounds of her lover broke Shangxiang's restraints as she leaned forward as well and continued where Lianshi had stopped. "Now rem...member m..my lady. No...teeth, ah!" the guardian tried to say as she succumbed to the pleasure of her lower parts.

Lianshi could no longer hold it as she turned around, kissed her lover, and let out another moan when he gently pinched her nipples, the sensation like lightning through her veins. She bit her lower lip as she knew they were ready. Leaning closer to his ear, she teasingly whispered, "No more foreplay, my love. I want you now."

Nothing more had to be said. Changing position, both girls lay on their backs, one eagerly waiting while the other one was still a bit nervous. Lianshi noticed it as she said, "My love, I am waiting. Please, let us show my lady what she is missing."

"Okay. Here I come," Brian whispered as he guided his pole to her entrance. He teased her by stroking his member just around her weak spot, before lining it and slowly pushing it in. He felt a slight resistance as his manhood was enveloped by intense moist heat. "Are you okay?" He asked worriedly, as Lianshi's grip on his arms had increased.

"I...I have to get used to you. Please continue slowly," She answered. Her body stiffened as he continued until he was fully in, tears appearing in her eyes, like dew on petals. Sun Shangxiang's eyes were mesmerized as she slowly saw her guardian's face relax. Lianshi threw her arms around Brian's neck as she finally said, "I..it is okay now. P...please continue."

Sun Shangxiang's face continued to turn redder as she was witness to their loving making. Her body began to heat up as Lianshi's moans began to increase in both volume and frequency, her guardian's hands trying to find any weak spots to further increase Brian's rhythm.

Although Shangxiang had never tried it before, her fingers moved almost instinctively between her legs, and her breathing started to increase when she found the right spots, her touch like a gentle whisper on her skin. She leaned forward towards her lord and whispered, "Please, my lord... don't let me wait any longer. I want to be yours."

Brian, still loving Lianshi, caught her gaze. They shared a quick glance of understanding and mutual agreement. Lianshi smiled and nodded, giving her silent consent for Brian to shift his attention.

In less than a minute, Sun shangxiang's body had accepted Brian's member and started to move on its own. "Ah... Ah!... Please... Don't stop!" she cried out as overwhelming sensations continued to assault her entire body, like waves crashing against the shore. Lianshi looked pleased as she lay on her lady's side, her hand teasing Sun Shangxiang's breast. "Shi! Please, don...!" she tried to say, only for another intense sensation to leave her breathless.

"If you don't like it, you can always just tell me, my lady," Lianshi smiled teasingly as she continued, the cries of pleasure a delight to her ears. So much to her delight, that she couldn't help but be envious of the attention her lady was getting. Stopping her lover, she slid between him and her, leaned above her lady as she held her legs up with her supporting arms, and asked, "How is this, lord Brian? Please do me as well."

"No...Not fair..." Sun Shangxiang uttered as she caught her breath. She stared at Lianshi as she couldn't do anything except witness how her guardian was succumbing to Brian's animistic urges. Her breasts bounced like soft hills as her moans grew heavier, and Sun Shangxiang decided it was revenge time.

"Ah!" Lianshi cried out as both her nipples were pinched, another intense sensation assaulting her every fiber. "Wa..Wait..! I..it's too...!" she could barely bring out as tears appeared in her eyes, like drops of rain on a summer flower. "I..I..am...!" She tried to warn before her back arched and her body trembled. Her arms gave in, and while heavily panting, she uttered, "That was...amazing." Her lady's eyes spoke as clear as the light of the candles. Understanding she wanted to experience that feeling as well, Lianshi rolled onto her back and gave her boyfriend a gaze of pure satisfaction and love. "Please let her feel great as well, my love."

Sun Shangxiang used her feet to pull him in, embraced his neck with her arms, and whispered embarrassingly, "P...please. I want you inside me again."

A beautiful princess laying naked under him, her eyes and voice asking him both to make her his. There was not a single doubt in his mind as he leaned to her lips and kissed her with all the love he could give. A flop and a loud moan indicated they were ready to continue their dance of love.

Her moans became louder as something was rising with each thrust, building up from deep within her, like a volcano ready to erupt. Her breathing increased even further, but so did his. "Shangxiang, I am about to cum," He warned as his thrusting became fiercer, like waves crashing against the rocks.

Either the tigress hadn't heard him, or she had already made up her mind as she clamped her legs around his waist. "Come inside." Just in time as Brian reached his climax. The princess could do nothing else but surrender to her femininity being filled by the man she loved, the additional stimulation bringing her over the edge and overloading her mind and body with a pleasure beyond her comprehension.

As she panted heavily with her lover still hovering above her, she gave him a tired smile as she whispered, "That was amazing. I love you, you dummy."

Lianshi, having patiently waited for them to finish, now gave her own tired but loving gaze. "I love you too, my love. Please let us stay by your side forever."

Tomorrow would be another day to fight and guide the land into an era of peace. There was still much more to accomplish, to conquer, to adjust, and to strengthen. But for tonight, he could forget any of them. Feeling the strength in his arms deplete, he lay between the two girls, hugged them both closer to him, and answered, "I love you too."
