A minimal fog floated above the land as sunlight tried to pass the mountains in the distance on this early morning. The roosters slowly arose to do their task, only to see a familiar figure already walking past their coop.
"Morning, you beautiful birds. Here is the food for the morning," Xin Xianying softly said, her voice already soothing the startled roosters. As she finished filling the food bowls and refilled the water, she couldn't help but smile as the first rooster slowly started to walk to his usual spot to do his morning ritual.
Reaching Azeil's stay, she couldn't help but be confused about how the tiger was already so active this morning. "You sure are a strange one, Azeil. Anyway, here is your breakfast," she said happily as she threw a big piece of meat in the stay. Azeil immediately jumped forward to eat it, starting to rip it to shreds as if he hadn't eaten in days. "You sure are hungry as well."
She finally realized why when she reached the stable and saw that the horses were already out running through their pasturage. She was momentarily worried before she saw a single person among them, his spiky black hair and dark blue eyes a unique detail to his appearance as he appeared to be trying to ride Shadow Runner.
She leaned on the wooden fence, enjoying the spectacle of her lord jumping up and falling down the black horse from her former lord a bit longer. Walnut had already approached her - who she had greeted with some head pats - before she jumped over the fence and rose on the horse herself toward her lord.
"Why is this so difficult? I never had this much problem riding Hex Mark or the other horses," she heard her lord say, most probably to himself.
With a smile, she answered, "That is because you are not facing a normal horse, my lord." As Brian shifted his attention to her, she continued, "Shadow Runner is a very famous horse who only allowed two riders until now: her caretaker and master Cao Cao. If you wish to ride it, you have to show you are worthy." She chuckled as Brian's expression was more than enough for her to deduce what he was thinking. Looking at the mud on his clothing and face, she asked worriedly, "More importantly, how long have you been awake already, my lord? I can't help but feel you have been here for a long time."
Her lord looked for a moment at his wrist before he shook his head, turned to the mountains, and responded, "I think your feeling is not that far off. I had some trouble sleeping, so I decided to try my luck again. The other horses were a bit envious, so I let them run for a moment as well."
"And you played with Azeil as well?" the brunette guessed before she added, "Despite your title as Prime Minister, you do not act as the vice-leader of a country." She followed her lord's gaze to the mangers of the horses before he smiled smugly in return.
"Fair point. My father always wanted me to follow the life of a noble, but sometimes, I just want to get back to the roots. I am certain you can understand that," she explained with a smile.
"Yes, I can," Brian responded before he heard a whistle as the keeper was finally at his post and signaled them to leave the pasturage. "It seems we have to continue our conversation another time."
"I am looking forward to it," Xianying responded before she rode away.
Brian could have known better, but he tried it anyway. Like a kid testing the limits, he entered his home without cleaning himself first, only to be stopped just in time by his advisor. "Go clean yourself first, my lord," the advisor ordered strictly, sending Brian to the bathhouse. Thus, he was there, his skin slowly wrinkling from the soothing touch of the heated water, although it was not a bath he found himself in.
In the fourth month of his reign, a foreigner from a faraway country visited his rising city. Upon hearing where the man came from, Brian welcomed him personally. After all, if he could lay a foundation for international trades, his ambition would be achieved even earlier. It was during that conversation that Brian heard a story that gave him an idea, and with the help of Gong Jo and several of his talented officers, he created the design for a sauna.
The heated pool he was in was just part of the final product, and just as he had predicted, it became quite popular. The town had attracted quite a few tourists just for the new accommodation, and it became one of Jin Cheng's many attractions. But all that didn't matter to Brian as he had the water to himself on this early morning. At least, that is what he believed.
He was too deep in his thoughts to hear the footsteps behind him slowly approaching until they stopped just behind him. Only when he was blinded by two slender hands did his mind return to the present. "Good morning, my lord," a familiar female voice whispered before adding, "I am glad I am in time to celebrate with you on this blissful day."
"Lianshi? What are you doing here?" he asked, confused, as his concubine gently stepped into the water at his side, both her body and face prettier than he remembered.
"Did you really not expect me to visit you on your birthday? You are special to me, and I want to be beside you on this important day," Lianshi whispered, her hand moving over his chest. She smiled, for his heartbeat was quick despite being in such a relaxed atmosphere. Not that she could blame him, though, for her heartbeat was beating rapidly as well.
"How did you know it was my birthday? I can't remember telling anyone about it," Brian asked as he pulled her closer with his arm.
"Master Delan told me when I asked for it. I am sorry if that was inappropriate, but I just wanted to know," Lianshi confessed, embarrassed.
However, that feeling of regret evaporated completely when Brian pulled her closer, kissed her forehead, and responded, "Don't worry. I don't mind. I was just surprised you wanted to know. Can I assume Lady Shangxiang knows it by now as well?"
Lianshi shook her head as she answered, "I haven't shared this information with anyone else. Was that what you wanted, my lord?"
Brian looked at the ceiling as he answered, "I am not really sure. I wouldn't mind if they knew, but I don't want to distract them from their important business with something so trivial as my birthday."
"It is not trivial. Celebrating the day you were born is important. After all, life is short and can be taken away quickly," Lianshi commented firmly. "That's why I wanted to be by your side for this important day." She grinned as she added, "So let's get out of here fast and have some fun!"
Jin Cheng: A Tale of Transformation
Jin Cheng. A small village in the northwest of ancient China, just south of the Yellow River. That was how it started.
It was a village that could barely support its people in their daily lives, and the population did not even reach two hundred. They had a lord, but until he was fifteen years old, they had barely heard anything of him. But suddenly, one day, he rode out on his horse and welcomed an unexpected visitor into his small town.
Shortly after, he started to show his fangs to the world as he defeated and captured bandits. The captured enemies became prisoners and slaves who had to work on the land. However, rumors quickly spread that even those people were treated with care. The production of edible crops and population increased. However, the lord of Jin Cheng wasn't done yet.
He continued to show his justice as he defeated the Zhu brothers at the Yellow River and established a resource point for his builders. On the same day, he defeated the tyrant Wei Ping and claimed Enkuma. His town grew once again. And once again, a new threat arose on the horizon. One of the warlords of Wu was marching towards his border and would bring turmoil with him. In a battle of perfect coordination and teamwork, the lord of Jin Cheng claimed another victory at Jie Ting, and this time, brought well-versed officers to his side. Population, agriculture, construction, employment, and economics began to develop. But the lord of Jin Cheng wasn't satisfied yet.
With a small army and his newest officers, he marched to the west and claimed the land all the way to Long You as his own. Multiple trade routes started, and the town began to boom even further.
Tianshui. An Ding. The Wu Zhang Plains. Chang'an. Tong Gate. Luo Yang. Those were the cities he claimed as his own. Liu Shan. Kong Rong. Sima Yi. Xiahou Dun. Ma Chao. Cao Cao. Those were the lords who had to taste the bitterness of defeat and turned from enemy to ally.
New homes were built at a rapid pace, and with each victory, the taste of an era of peace was slowly but certainly within reach. The people of Jin Cheng grew from barely surviving and frightened to independent and happy in the course of several months, as new accommodations continued to be built. Stone floors that were easy to walk on. Stone walls that protected their lives. The shopping district, armory, storage, barracks, teahouse, academy, farms, training grounds, bathhouse, library, stables, and more contributed to the growing economy and an increase in the quality of life. And all that was made possible by a single man.
If you asked the people of Jin Cheng what they thought about their lord, they would tell you he was sent from the heavens itself to guide them to an era of peace. If you asked his officers what their lord was like, they would tell you he was a blessing in their lives. If you asked an outsider in his land what they thought about Lord Brian Miller, they would tell you he was the greatest ruler one could wish for.
Thus, when the news of his birthday was heard by his officers and his people far before the actual date, gears went into motion. Chefs experimented in the academy on several dishes. Bamboo sticks were gathered and made into the first firecrackers, ready to be ignited when the time came. Gifts from other towns and cities were shipped, received, and hidden until that day would emerge. Dancers and musicians were reserved for that important day.
On the day itself, the citizens of Jin Cheng moved everything into order while Brian would be on an adventure outside the city. Lianshi would distract him during that little adventure while her lady, her former lord, and all the other people who were grateful to him arranged the biggest surprise of all time.
Lianshi had to do her best to hold that surprise hidden as they rode back towards Jin Cheng. Even with her well-trained poker face, she could barely hide that she was excited and nervous. That feeling was only strengthened when she saw the walls of Jin Cheng and a bit of light that shone above it through the evening's darkness.
"Good evening, Lord Brian! How was your trip?" one of the guards asked to stall a few seconds.
"It was very calming. It is always relaxing to just think of nothing and enjoy the scenery around you," Brian answered before he added, "It is a shame I could not enjoy it longer. However, I still have much to do for today, and there is only so little time to spare."
"Then we will not interrupt you any longer," the other guard commented as he stepped aside and let his lord and Lady Lianshi inside. The black-haired bodyguard stared at him nervously, but the guard soothed her worries with a simple smile and a gentle nod.
Brian rode into his city, quite surprised by the lack of lights in the houses he rode past. The further he rode through his city, the more confused he became. "Where is everyone?" he asked as he was almost at the plaza.
"Perhaps there is something happening in the shopping district," Lianshi answered innocently.
"Perhaps. Let us take a look just to be certain," Brian suggested, only to be stopped by a cough.
"Lord Brian, aren't you forgetting something?" Her eyes were strict as Brian immediately understood. With a sigh, he submitted to her stare as he stepped off his horse and handed the reins to Lianshi.
"To think I made that rule myself," he sighed as he continued to walk the rest of the way. Unbeknownst to him, this moment was predicted and played upon as the keeper of the stables just appeared before them. "Ah, Master Na Jo, perfect timing. Could you tell me where everybody is?" Brian asked.
"There is a new act in town, and it drew quite some attention. They are in the shopping district," Na Jo answered before he shifted to Lianshi and asked, "Shall I take them back to the stables?"
"Please do. They have earned their rest," Lianshi answered before she grabbed her lord's arm and pulled him with her. "Come, my lord. Let us see this new act for ourselves."
"S...sure," Brian responded as he tried to keep up, not sure what was going on with his lover. She was acting differently, but not in a way that made him doubt her loyalty. However, she was hiding something, and Brian couldn't help but think it had something to do with the fact there were no lights on in the homes he passed.
Just as they reached the plaza, he wanted to ask, only for a giant explosion of light to surprise him. "Surprise!" more than a thousand people shouted happily as hidden lamps and lights appeared out of every possible corner.
Brian looked around, surprised, only to be jump-hugged by a familiar unexpected face. "Happy birthday, you dumbass!" Sun Shangxiang greeted him grinningly.
"Happy birthday, brother! Come and celebrate with us!" Sun Quan spoke loudly as he slammed his hand on his lord's shoulder.
Brian just looked confused as he asked, "How did everyone know my birthday? Not that I don't appreciate all of this, but I never told anyone about it, did I?"
"My apologies, my lord, but I am afraid that was my doing," Delan confessed. "Everyone wanted to do something special for you, and after I was interrogated by your fiancée, things quickly spun out of control."
"Enough about the questions and come enjoy your birthday with us!" Shangxiang insisted as she pulled him along into the crowd.
Brian had experienced quite some parties already since arriving in this world, but this feast was truly one of a kind. It felt as if his entire kingdom had gathered to celebrate him growing one year older. His entire city was alive, and even the Emperor had joined the feast under his alias.
Cai Wenji showed her harp skills in the fullest glory as many of her students stared in awe at her calming handwork and listened carefully to the beautiful sound. Everywhere, people walked with something edible in their hands, and many accommodations, such as the training grounds, were momentarily used as temporary chill spots.
"How did you like my little strategy, my lord?" Sima Yi asked after several alcoholic drinks, his mood surprisingly good. "You should have seen your face."
Brian smiled as he answered in all honesty, "Yeah, you had me completely fooled. I didn't see it coming until it was too late. Well played, Master Sima Yi."
"Although there were still some points of improvement here and there," Zhuge Liang commented to poke the hornet's nest a bit.
However, Sima Yi was in an extremely good mood as he responded, "Yes, that is true! A strategy is never fully perfect! We must improvise, adapt, and overcome each time again!"
That was a meme I wasn't expecting to see here, Brian thought as he kept his eyes on the two strategists. However, before he could join in on that conversation, he was pulled along by the Emperor in disguise, who said, "Lord Brian, let us dance. I know Zhang He taught you, so please do not hold back."
The main dance of Han-dynasty China was called Yuefu, and it mixed elegant movement with martial arts. Although he was far from an expert in the former, he was an expert in the latter due to both innate talent and learned knowledge. Zhang He had taught him the principles of the dance, and after Brian practiced it several times in his alone time, he realized The Last Airbender was closer to ancient China than he had ever imagined.
Visualizing that he controlled the four elements and bent them to his will, his training paid off. And the Emperor was just as passionate for Yuefu as Brian had been during his training.
The spectators stared in awe as their prime minister and the Emperor in disguise danced in perfect coordination with one another. With each move, their control and energy could be felt to the point of giving the audience goosebumps. Cai Wenji even enjoyed it so much, she started to play with the rhythm. Quick and powerful movements followed by elegant and controlled gestures, not a moment of hesitation or doubt noticeable. Loud applause rang through the air when the two leaders of the land finished their performance.
"That was amazing, my lord!" Zhao Yun complimented, impressed.
"As expected of my ultimate adversary in beauty!" Zhang He spoke loudly in an elegant pose.
Brian normally did not have to drink or eat. However, as he was sweating bullets from his performance, he decided to take a drink. It wasn't as if he was thirsty, but it was more of a cover to show his people he was just a normal person.
Despite that lack of hunger or thirst outside of battle, his nose did like the different scents that came from the dining tables. "Welcome, my lord!" A chef welcomed Brian. "Have you decided what you want?"
Looking at the table, the young lord wasn't that certain what the dishes even were, let alone how to choose one. He also wasn't that hungry but saying that would be impolite. Thus, he answered, "I am unfamiliar with these dishes. Could you tell me what they are?"
"Of course, my lord. Here we have meat that has been seasoned and dried for several hours. We call it jerky," the chef started before he continued to the next dish. "This is a dish we learned from a foreign visitor a while back. It is fresh fish preserved with salt, combined with sticky rice and a special sauce called 'soy sauce.' Would you like to try some?"
Sushi?! Heck yeah, I would! Brian internally shouted happily as he tried to keep his composure and answered, "Yes, please." His body shivered from sheer happiness when his taste buds were coated in the taste of the early sushi. With a big smile, he said, "This is amazing! What do you call it?"
"It is called sushi, sir. Lady Ying is still working on ways to keep the fish fresh for longer than a day though," the chef answered happily before he shifted to the other dishes and asked, "Would you like to try some of the other creations we invented over the past months as well?"
"Yes, please," Brian responded. Thus, he learned not only Yue Ying had created several new dishes, but Zhang Chunhua had done so as well. According to the chef, she had practiced over a hundred different meat bun recipes.
Brian thanked the chef a bit loudly—mainly because he knew how ruthless Sima Yi's wife could be to commoners—and walked away fully satisfied. However, the night was far from over. A birthday couldn't be complete without presents, and those Brian received in spades.
A beautiful carpet, exotic animals, expensive treasures, new clothing, and more belonged to the long list of gifts. But just as he was thinking he had seen everything, the next gift truly surprised him. "Here is my gift to you, my lord. I wish I had more to gift you, but we currently need everything to keep the city blooming," the governor of Tianshui, Li Hui, said as two of his men carried a beautiful halberd. This is...?!
"Master Li Hui. Where did you get this halberd?" Brian asked as he took the weapon in his hands, feeling the power of the rank 5 halberd, Soul Crusher, without even swinging it.
"I am not certain," Li Hui answered. "The farmers who brought it to us said they received it from a mysterious cloaked person. Before they could ask why, the man said, 'This is my gift. May this guide you to that which you seek,' and he returned to the southern mountain area."
What is with that strange message? Brian thought before he laid the halberd on the table, turned to Li Hui, and said in all sincerity, "Thank you for that wonderful gift. With this, I will be able to accomplish my ambition much quicker."
Li Hui smiled happily as he bowed deeply and responded, "I am grateful for your kind words, my lord."
The remaining time of the feast went by pretty quickly. Food was eaten until everyone was stuffed. Dances and music were played until their hands and feet bled, while still smiling like they just had the best time of their lives. Stories were shared until everyone was about to enter their own world of stories, judging from the yawns. But despite all that, there was still one surprise left for Brian.
Not that he was aware of it as he walked back to his residence in the midst of night with Lianshi and Shangxiang at his side. His eyes were tired, but his smile was one of pure bliss. In fact, he was so tired, he did not even notice the nervousness around Lianshi and Shangxiang.
Even with that grateful smile of his, his two lovers could not shake their nervousness. After all, there were many uncertainties in their plan. Any normal man would have no problem accepting their gift, but Brian had never been a normal man. He was too kind and too loving for that. And they guessed, just like them, too inexperienced for what was about to happen as well.
Nothing seemed out of the ordinary when they reached Brian's mansion. However, when Brian opened the door, everything quickly changed. Candles illuminated the room with a beautiful glow, casting shadows on the pink and red petals that formed a path to his bedroom.
What's going on here? Brian wondered, noticing how freshly lit the candles seemed.
Slowly and gently, the door to his bedroom opened, but no one came out. Instead, Sun Shangxiang and Lianshi both walked forward, leaving Brian standing there. They gave him seductive smiles, turned around to tease him, and asked simultaneously, "Are you coming, my lord?"
Normally, his mind was moving fifty steps ahead, whether on the battlefield or during his free time as a ruler. However, the party that had been his birthday had drained his logical thoughts. More importantly, he was a man. His awakened instinct overruled any judgment he could make in his mentally tired state.
When he entered his room, the light from the well-placed candles revealed five familiar, beautiful faces. Lianshi, Sun Shangxiang, Xing Cai, Yue Ying, and Zhang Chunhua stood there, their eyes filled with a mixture of emotions.
Before he could ask anything, his fiancée softly grabbed his hand and led him into the room until she stopped just before the group. Is this...? he wondered before she leaned forward and kissed him with her tender lips. Her kiss stopped far earlier than he expected—or wished for—as she slowly opened her eyes to stare into his. He could see a desire for more in them, but she held back nevertheless.
"We have a special gift for you, my lord," Shangxiang whispered, her voice a mix of love and seduction. "Tonight, you will be ours, and we will be yours."
Zhang Chunhua and Yue Ying stepped forward. "With our husbands' blessings, we have chosen to join you, my lord," Yue Ying said softly, her eyes reflecting her earnest feelings. "We wish to support you, not just in battle, but in every way."
Brian felt a rush of emotions, but before he could respond, Shangxiang guided him further into the room. "Relax, my love," she whispered. "Tonight, you explore and savor each of us."
Brian found himself surrounded by the five women, each beautiful and strong in their own way. Sun Shangxiang, his fierce and loyal wife, led the way, her hands guiding his. Lianshi, with her graceful elegance, moved closer, her soft skin inviting his touch. Zhang Chunhua, always the strategist, watched him with a playful smile, her eyes promising untold pleasures. Yue Ying, serene and wise, stood beside her, her presence calming and enticing at once. Lastly, Xing Cai, with her innocence and purity, looked up at him with adoration and trust.
Brian's hands moved tentatively at first, tracing the contours of Shangxiang's well-toned body. His heart raced, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement. Shangxiang noticed his hesitation and gave him a reassuring smile, her hands gently guiding his.
"You are safe with us, my love," she whispered softly, her touch calming his nerves. Her fingers intertwined with his, guiding him to Lianshi.
Lianshi's skin was like silk, her curves accentuated by the soft candlelight. Brian's fingers traced the lines of her body, feeling the gentle rise and fall of her breath. "Exquisite," he murmured, his lips brushing hers lightly. Lianshi's eyes closed briefly, her lips parting as she sighed softly in pleasure. Her serene expression broke down his nervousness, and he felt a sense of familiarity and comfort.
Next was Zhang Chunhua, who stepped forward with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "You've bested me in many ways, my lord. Tonight, let me serve you." Her body was a blend of softness and strength, her movements fluid and confident. Brian's hands roamed her form, appreciating every curve and line. Zhang Chunhua let out a quiet moan, her body pressing closer to his touch. "No matter how much I want it, you refuse to bend to my will," she whispered seductively.
Your bond with Zhang Chunhua... Now is not the time for that! Brian mentally pushed aside the in-game message, focusing on the beauty before him.
Yue Ying was next, her demeanor calm and inviting. "We are here for you, my lord," she said softly, guiding his hand to her chest. Her heart beat steadily under his palm, her skin soft and inviting. "Your wisdom and strength have earned our loyalty and our love." Brian felt her shiver as his touch lingered, her eyes closing momentarily as she savored the sensation.
Your bond with Yue Ying has deepened. The message subtly appeared, almost as if the game understood the gravity of the moment. Brian barely noticed, too absorbed in the moment.
Finally, Xing Cai approached, her eyes filled with a mix of nervousness and anticipation. "My lord, I am ready," she whispered, her voice trembling slightly. Brian's touch was gentle, his hands exploring her tenderly. Xing Cai's breath hitched, but she soon relaxed under his careful attention. "Thank you," she murmured, her eyes shining with gratitude and joy.
He started slowly and safely, continuing the kiss that his fiancée had stopped. His hands, however, began to explore unknown territory as his right hand slowly but firmly moved from Yue Ying's stomach to her lower back. On the other side, his hand had already taken hold of Lianshi's rear, the smooth curves reminding him of the gentle slopes of a serene valley.
His lips moved from his fiancée to Xing Cai while Shangxiang followed her instincts and continued to kiss his neck. Xing Cai's lips felt inexperienced, but he could feel she wanted him. Not that he could think too clearly as multiple touches responded to his, stimulating his entire body. Their tongues connected, and her kiss became fiercer and more intimate with each passing second.
Their connection stopped, only for a hand to guide him to his next willing target. Zhang Chunhua's kiss was gentle yet experienced as she bit his underlip before guiding him to her neck. Hands stimulated his chest, his back, and slowly moved towards his more intimate areas.
His body grew hotter as his breathing became heavier. His explorations became more daring as his left hand started exploring Xing Cai's breast, the soft hills of love, and his right hand caressed Yue Ying's back. The intimate atmosphere was charged with both love and desire, creating a potent mix of emotions.
One by one, their clothes fell to the ground, revealing beautiful, diverse hanfus and satin underwear underneath. In the end, even these were cast aside as the true dance of passion began. This was a moment of deep connection and shared love, a battle of hearts and minds rather than of bodies.
Brian's hands moved with increasing confidence, each touch a testament to the deepening bonds he shared with each woman. Just as he was about to lose himself completely, Zhang Chunhua placed a gentle but firm hand on his chest, her eyes gleaming with a mix of challenge and desire.
"Not so fast, my lord," she whispered, her voice teasing yet commanding. "If you wish to continue, you must show us all the same pleasure."
Brian, despite his instincts urging him to continue, nodded, acknowledging her challenge with a determined smile. "Challenge accepted," he replied, his voice husky with restrained desire.
Five minutes later, Zhang Chunhua found herself breathless, her body trembling from the intensity of Brian's touch. She had always considered herself a genius in many areas, including the art of seduction. But Brian had a way of breaking down her defenses and awakening feelings she had long suppressed.
"You're incredible," Shangxiang praised Brian as she embraced him from behind.
"Lady Chunhua?" Yue Ying asked, shocked to see the usually composed Zhang Chunhua so vulnerable. She let out a small gasp when Brian's touch sent a shiver through her, their eyes meeting in a silent exchange of mutual desire.
Yue Ying admired her husband for his virtues and wisdom, but her marriage had always been more of a mental connection than a physical one. Brian, however, was different. His sincerity and passion stirred something deep within her, awakening desires she had forgotten. She felt her body respond to his touch, a mix of excitement and anticipation filling her.
Before Yue Ying's desires could be answered, Xing Cai stepped forward, her eyes reflecting a mixture of innocence and longing. "My lord," she whispered as she lay beside him, her vulnerability evident.
Brian's gaze softened as he kissed her tenderly. "I will be gentle," he whispered, his touch reassuring and kind. His hands traced the well-toned muscles of her stomach and back, moving down to her legs, appreciating the strength and grace of her warrior's build. The connection between them was electric, and Xing Cai felt a profound sense of belonging.
She felt the fear of the unknown sensations, the apprehension of reaching a peak she had never experienced before. But the safety of his weight and his body reassured her. He was her shield, and she felt it at this moment. As the sensations built to an overwhelming crescendo, she clung to him, her heart racing.
"Are you okay?" Brian asked, concern in his eyes as he held her close.
Xing Cai nodded, tears of joy shimmering in her eyes. "Yes, I am finally yours."
Lianshi smiled warmly as she lay beside them. "You are incredible, my lord. Now it's my turn." She moved closer, her fingers trailing along Brian's collarbone and the side of his neck, her touch light and teasing. She had been longing for this moment, and it showed in the way she took charge, her long black hair cascading down as she moved, no longer confined to a bun.
Her initial fervor gave way to a more intimate embrace, their bodies pressed close together, savoring the warmth and connection. Her soft sighs and the way she clung to him spoke volumes about her longing and satisfaction.
As Lianshi's wave of desire was satisfied, she melted into Brian's arms, her breathing steadying as she held him close. Zhang Chunhua returned, her eyes still filled with desire, though softened by the earlier intensity. She found herself overwhelmed by the renewed sensations, her body sensitive and responsive to Brian's touch.
Yue Ying approached next, her long brown hair swaying as she moved, her eyes locked onto Brian's with a mix of nervousness and anticipation. She pressed close, her heart pounding so loudly she was sure he could hear it. His strong, reassuring hold and the tenderness of his touch melted away her reservations. She felt his breath against her ear, and her body responded instinctively, each touch sending shivers down her spine. The close proximity, the sound of his heartbeat, and the feel of his body against hers created an intimate connection that left her breathless.
Finally, it was Sun Shangxiang's turn. She had watched her husband with the others, her fiery temper and energy barely contained. She had allowed the others their moments, but now it was her turn to reclaim her place. Her eyes blazed with intensity as she approached, her movements filled with purpose and determination.
She kissed him passionately, her hands roaming his body with a fierce possessiveness. "Show me what you're capable of, my lord," she whispered, her voice a sultry challenge. Her energy was unmatched, her body moving with a fluid grace that spoke of her strength and agility. She rode the waves of their shared passion, her moans a symphony of desire and satisfaction.
In the end, they lay together, their bodies spent and their hearts full. The room was filled with the soft glow of the candles, the air thick with the scent of roses and the lingering essence of their shared affection. Each girl was beyond tired, struggling to stay awake after giving it their all in this figurative battle.
Sun Shangxiang rested her head on Brian's chest, her fingers tracing lazy circles on his skin. "You were incredible, my love," she murmured, her voice filled with satisfaction.
The others murmured their agreement, their hands and bodies still intertwined with Brian's. He smiled, feeling a deep sense of contentment and fulfillment. His mind was at peace, empty of all thoughts except for the overwhelming sense of connection and gratitude.
As they drifted off to sleep, their bodies still entwined, Brian knew that he had found something truly special with these incredible women. And he was determined to cherish and protect them, no matter what the future held.
A ray of light shone through the window curtains as the morning sun rose over the faraway mountains. It was a gentle wake-up for Brian, who had not experienced that morning wake-up call in a while.
Normally, he would already be up as his body did not require that much rest if he had not been in a battle. However, as he felt every muscle in his body complain about his last birthday gift, he could easily say today was not a normal day. Another reason that statement was true was the additional weight on his body, as five women lay around him. Thank god Delan gave me this king's bed. Things would have been really awkward if we didn't have it. Brian thought as his eyes slowly got used to the light.
Even with the King's size bed, there was just enough space for him and his lovers to sleep comfortably. In other words, one wrong move, and he would wake most if not all of them up. But moving wasn't something he was planning to do soon. At some point in their duel, he had lost track of time. However, despite that, he knew one thing very certain; they had been going at it for a whole day. How? He wondered. I know my stamina and physical strength are stronger they have ever been, but a whole day? That is just ridiculous.
No wonder his body felt completely drained of everything, and he was hungry and thirsty for the first time outside of the battlefield. He also assumed some of his health would be down if he entered a battlefield in his current state as some of his lovers were not to be underestimated. His hips felt numb, his back was completely red, his arms were in no state to hold a weapon and his abdomen complained the loudest. But it was worth it. Brian thought as he caressed his sleeping princess's back.
A cute groan could be heard before Shiangxiang raised her sleepy head to Brian, and Brian whispered, ''Good morning, my love.''
''Morning...'' She responded softly before collapsing on his chest again, and groaned, ''Please tell me we have nothing planned for the day...everything hurts...''
''I have to check on the city, but we can take it easy for today,'' he responded.
''Thank god...'' Shiangxiang whispered before she added, ''To think it would take five of us to satisfy you completely... I am not sure if I should be happy or terrified about that.''
Brian kissed her forehead as he whispered, ''Thank you for this gift. It was amazing.''
The tigress princess replaced her head a bit as she smilingly whispered, ''It was. But don't expect this to be the standard.''
''Of course. Anyway, I am going to ask the servants for some breakfast. Anything special you like?'' Brian asked as he walked out of bed, miraculously not waking the other girls up.
''There is so much to choose from. Let them surprise me,'' Shangxiang answered with a tired smile.
''Got it,'' Brian acknowledged as he slipped into his easiest hanfu and a simple shirt, and stepped into the living room. The empty glasses of reserve waters that were delivered during their session were cleaned up, and a single female servant was patiently waiting at the door. ''Morning, my lord. Can I be of service to you?'' The servant Yi Jaio asked.
''Could you prepare breakfast for six please?'' Brian asked although he could have demanded it easily. ''Something filling please, for we could use the energy.''
Yi Jaio bowed as she answered, ''Very well, my lord. Leave it to me.'' Always nice to have such friendly servants. I hope they have eaten themselves already. She at least looks a lot more healthy than she did back then. Brian thought contently as he walked on the staircase to the first floor.
''Good morning, Lord Brian.'' Several of his knights said as a greeting. After a quick response, they continued back to their work, which was mainly organizing the information the scouts had gathered.
''Good morning, my Lord. I hope your birthday was to your liking,'' Feng Delan greeted.
''It was. Thank you for arranging it, Delan,'' Brian said before he looked out of the large window and added, ''But now, we have to focus back on the growth of the city and its people. Are there any problems that require immediate attention?''
''No, there are not. The farmers are currently working to make the south lands usable for agriculture. The farm is progressing nicely as the pigs have finally arrived. It will not be long until we can breed them to further increase our food supply. The academy and Library are growing by each day, but nothing out of ordinary.''
Brian looked out of the window to his city waking up. The streets were starting to be filled with his followers, all ready to work another day without worrying they would not survive. Looking in the distance, he asked, ''How are the other cities? Is there any need for help for them?''
''So far, it all looks well, my lord. There has been word some people started to get sick in the far west though. It hasn't reached the border of An Ding yet, but it is approaching quickly,'' the advisor informed.
Another disease... ''Send word out to Zhuge Ke and tell him to dispatch cats in his town. Make certain he keeps the city clean as well, and make a place where he can store the waste. Tell Hua Tuo to send some disciplines who can describe and perhaps even cure the disease,'' Brian commanded.
''Very well sir. Anything else?'' Delan asked.
''No, that was all,'' Brian answered as he kept his eyes on the city. Or more precise, to the sky as dark clouds were approaching his land. It seems winter is coming. I hope we have what it takes to make it out through it without any problems. Looking around the room, he smiled as he checked the clouds one more time and thought, On the other hand, we overcame so many obstacles. We will overcome this one as well.
With that last thought, he turned his attention to more trivial things, as a servant informed him breakfast was about to get served. With an everlasting smile on his face, he walked downstairs, to come face to face with his lovers.
The question remained if that smile would last, or would be defeated by the winter that was about to come. Only time can tell.
