One week later, following the chaotic mission in Central City, Farra was with Steven, who was concerned.

"This isn't like you, Steven. You never acted this rude." She said.

He replied, "I'm just upset. I didn't want this way… but Mundy should just butt out."

"I know he's hiding something, but let it go. He's obviously planning it for later. Besides, we have a major focus on Weiss Schnee."

"And Team RWBY."

"Them, too. But you should get along with Mundy. He'll speak about his secrets, soon enough."

Steven huffed, "Who cares? It's not like he's going to help us… When we first met him, he was a jerk, siding with Night Raid. Then he revealed his true colors… becoming a part of the Hero's Side. But I still remembered that day… when he blindsided me."

"That was years ago…"

"Still, he's been a formidable ally, since then. But he's lucky. He's got an android for a groupie, and I got nothing."

Peter appeared and said, "Tell me something I don't know."

"Big Guy." Farra gasped.

Peter said, "I overheard your talk. Mundy's fine, but he'll tell us. He's not ready to explain… since he knows Cinder Fall. But still, if you're in trouble, come to us."

Steven stated, "I will… but I won't trust that guy, after what he's done. The mission ended awry, but at least we got the job done. The only mess-up we had was letting Cinder escape, and we had her on the ropes… if it wasn't for him!"

Farra barked, "Well, maybe if you didn't stop him–."

"He was gonna kill him!"

Peter asked, "Ask yourself this… Steven Cooke would've done the same thing? Mundy is a lot of things, but he'd never resort to murder." She added, "Yeah, he doesn't have a license to kill. January, on the other hand–."

"Steven Cooke is talking about Mundy, not your Oscar Gooden Fan Club Gynoid!"

"HEY!" She yelled, "She's my daughter, douche!"

"And you helped her stop her revenge on Mister. Try to stop her admiration!"

"It's natural! Something you wouldn't understand!"

Peter called, "Break it up, you two! I know things never changed, but this is ridiculous. Mundy's our friend now. And we trust in him. We don't trust the injustice, correct? Then, we knew him, as a partner… Never mind what happened in Central City. We have better things to do."

Farra yelled, "HE ALMOST DIED THAT DAY! He was selfish!"

"SELFISH?" Steven barked, "STEVEN COOKE IS NOT SELFISH!"

"Then why did you refuse to let us help you? HUH?"

They glared, as Peter grumbled, "Gimme a break."

Asahi stormed in and yelled, "Larry, Moe, and Curly! Get your asses in my office, now!"

She walked off, as the others headed off.

It was time to launch Operation: Ice Queen.

Episode 2 – Chapter 1: Operation: Ice Queen (Part 1)
Hunt for Red

NOTE: In this episode, it's split into four chapters, each with its own member of Team RWBY. In order, we start with Ruby Rose.

Asahi narrated, as The Gang, January, Riho, & Miki all headed off to their location:
"World Agency Log – File #83155-17715:
The team and I head off in four areas of location, for the whereabouts of Team RWBY. All four members have been spread out into parts of the world. I have separated my men into groups.
Steven Cooke, Oscar Gooden, and Miki Naoki are located in Ruby Rose's last known whereabouts. According to Agent Gooden, he first saw Ruby Rose in a small apartment complex, outside of town."

Steven, Mundy, & Miki were walking together, but Steven was far ahead from the others. Miki was worried. She thought, "They're still not speaking to each other. After what happened, last week, I hope they get along…"

Mundy responded, "You know, I should lead the way, since I know the flat."

Steven said, "No need. Asahi gave me the locations and directions."

"From me! I found it first!"

He ignored him, as Miki said, "Couldn't you just not talk? You'll agitate him even more…"

Mundy growled, as Steven huffed, "Like hell I'd take orders from him."

Asahi narrated, "Of course, Agents Cooke & Gooden were suddenly showing conflict towards each other. Agent Naoki offered to be peacekeeper, in case anything happens that may jeopardize the mission.
Meanwhile, Mizuki Takase & I were heading to Yang Xiao Long's location – Obnubi."

Mizuki & Asahi arrived at Obnubi, as Mizuki asked, "So, this is Obnubi? You told me about it. This is where Cy was created."

"Correct. And from the data I gathered, Yang Xiao Long is here. Zina was nice enough to tell me about it, and thought maybe we'd see her."

"But still… This is the place Real Ninja was created."

"Until it dissolved, thanks to Oka Kazamatsuri's ambition. Now that she's dead, we have nothing to worry about."

They went inside, as a figure was watching on in the shadows.

"As Mizuki & I were heading to meet Lady Zina, meanwhile, Peter Giese, Cassandra Martinez, January, and Riho were looking for Blake Belladonna. After countless questions about Blake, especially her race, our team headed off into unknown territory. Literally, she was located in a desolate and uncharted area in the world."

Peter's team walked through a city which is in ruins. Riho responded, "Wow… This must be where Blake is? I'm scared if she died in this debris."

Peter said, "Keep an eye out for any stragglers. If they go hostile, shoot to kill."

January saw two thugs, with spiky armor and sharp knives. They stepped back, as they saw the group. January turned to the thugs, and let out a cold stare. The thugs retreated, as Cassandra whispered, "I don't like this. Maybe we should turn back."

"No, Blake Belladonna is here." Riho responded, "But her radar is offline. Or maybe I am offline. I might need to reboot my systems."

Peter stated, "This city has no radar tower or Wi-Fi. It's been desolate. But the scanners back at HQ confirmed that Blake's here. We just don't know where, exactly."

Cassandra said, "That makes sense. Since we're all robots (not you, Peter), we need to be manually recharged, in case we run out of energy."

Peter stated, "You stay in the back. I don't want you to waste your energy again."

"I understand. I just needed a little tune up, when I get back. Luther's been busy, so I didn't have time to get checked up."

Riho responded, "Never fear, Miss Martinez. I can analyze you and find out what happened."

Cassandra smiled, "Thanks, Riho."

January stated, "She's no repairman."

Peter led the way, as he grumbled, "Why do I get stuck with the fembots?" Cassandra hissed, "Oy! I heard that. I find that Fembot jab offensive."

Riho and January paused, and January said, "What do you care?" Riho added, "Yeah, you're about half-human, Miss Martinez."

Asahi concluded, "And as Peter Giese's team heads off, the rest of the team are after Miss Weiss Schnee – Our main objective. There's a rich gala in New York, and Weiss is attending. Agents Stevens, Brighton, and Cheonsa are attending… albeit, in formal."

Farra was in a blue evening gown, muttering to herself, "This sucks. We're stuck with this job?"

Kim said, in a white gown, "Oh, don't be crabby. We can just mingle with the guests, until we find Weiss Schnee. Miss Asahi said she's attending this party."

"Yeah, among other snobby women." The ballroom was filled with guests in tuxedos and gowns. Finding Weiss would be difficult.

Jason was in his tux and said, "Well, I don't know about you, but Jace Be cutting the ballroom floor. Shall we, babe?" Kim shoved him away and said, "Focus! But I am honored. Maybe later, when the mood's right."

Farra chuckled, "You two go enjoy yourselves. I'll find Weiss." She headed off, as Kim asked, "Should we stop her?" Jace said, "No. Just sit back and enjoy yourself."

Steven, Mundy, & Miki arrived at the apartment, as Mundy said, "This is the place. When I first met her, she avoided me. She thought I was one of Torchwick's goons."

Steven huffed, "Or Cinder's."

Miki replied, "I think you better let me handle this job, boys. Chances are you may scare her away."

She stepped in, as she saw Ruby, sitting near the garden. Miki called, "Excuse me!" She thought, "That must be her."

Ruby turned, as Miki called, "Are you Ruby Rose?"

Ruby asked, "Yes?" She gasped, as she saw Mundy, "Him again?! Why won't he leave me alone?"

Miki said, "Excuse me, wait!" She ran to her, and Ruby stopped. Miki said, "Hi. Miki Naoki – World Agency."

"World Agency?" Ruby asked, "Wait… You're with him, aren't you?"

Miki asked, "Who, Agent Gooden? We're not hostile. We have a favor to ask you–."

"I'll cooperate, but not with him. He won't leave me alone over Neo & Torchwick!" Ruby stated, "I'm sorry, but I cannot help you!"

Ruby walked off, and Miki cried, "WAIT! Ruby, you can tell me. It's different! We want your support for Weiss Schnee!"

Ruby asked, "Weiss?" She paused, "Okay. But these two stay away from me. Especially that guy, with the heart scar. He's scary…" Miki bowed, "I promise. I'll let them know… But I want to know what makes you agitated at Agent Gooden?"

Ruby replied, "Well… We'll talk. But privately." Miki signaled to the boys, "Stay on radio silence." She turned on a radio, and transmitted her talk to the boys.

"Contact received." Mundy said, "Clever Miki. Ruby Rose can't trust me…"

Steven asked, "What did you say to her?"

Mundy huffed, "Gah!"

Inside Ruby's house, it was a small bed with lots of clothes strewn about, plus books and litter. She said, "Sorry, it's been quite a mess."

Miki said, "I see. So, you live alone?"

"Not really. I used to be with Team RWBY, but… Lately…" She was upset, "Ever since we came here, it's… It's all too much to endure. Weiss… Blake… Yang…"

Miki said, "We know all about you, especially Mundy, and your heroics… or lack thereof."

"Can we please discuss what we know about Weiss? I'm not here to be interrogated."

Miki sighed and said, "Hmm… I'm sorry… But I was curious to know what and why you hated on Agent Gooden. He's not a bad guy, he's–."

"I don't trust him. I wish I could, but… You wouldn't understand."

MIki asked, "So… How did Team RWBY disappear? I am dying to know. We know how to solve mysteries, including missing people. A lot were missing in this Moji Mikisa, until we resolved it. But there are others still missing, including Weiss, Blake, and Yang." Ruby was worried, as Miki continued, "But I want to know more about you… and everyone."

"Even Yang?" Ruby said, "I don't know…" She sniffled, "I do miss her… She has been gone, since months ago."

"Yang Xiao Long? I understand. Do you love her? I am, uh… curious."

"She's my sister."

"Oh."

"Half-sister. She was born with my father, Taiyang, when she married Raven Branwen. But when Raven left, he married Summer Rose. She was my Mom. I'm ashamed to explain about how she died."

"Did he marry Summer?"

"Yes. Raven divorced him, and then Summer married him… and then… that was it. Yang is my only love, since she's family."

"But you two aren't even blood related. Let alone, you are from the same family, you two don't look-alike."

"Well, she's actually older than me, by two years."

"And Blake?"

Ruby sighed and said, "Somewhat girlfriend to Yang… She's a Faunus. You know? Cat ears?"

"Hmmmmmmmm…" Miki was unsure, "I don't think your description is accurate."

"Oh, but I know. You just don't know about the Faunus."

"It's new to me." Miki then thought, "But still, Mundy told me about Faunus. But I never knew one."

Ruby replied, "And Weiss, on the other hand… She's more of a best friend… that's irreplaceable."

"Irreplaceable?"

"I lost two friends…" Ruby was sad, as she remembered, "Before Torchwick died… I lost Pyrrha… then Penny… but… It hurts so badly. I didn't understand how I could cope with my grief, and how I understood how I failed. I lost TWO friends… and they died, because of me… because I failed."

Miki asked, "Did you move on from them?"

"Hardly… but I learned I can move on, and just be me, and not be like Mom… or Raven…"

"I understand how you feel. It's hard to lose something. I lost a lot, when I was like you. Before I met The Gang, I was alone…"

"How so?"

"Zombie attack, years ago… I lost a friend of mine, when she left me… but she never came back."

"I see… Maybe she got attacked and became a zombie."

"Could be…"

Outside, Steven & Mundy listened on, but Steven said, "Nothing… We're getting a nice conversation, not an answer."

Mundy huffed, "Bugger this." He signed off, and he said, "I'm outta here."

"Where are you going?"

"Home." Mundy barked, "Besides, this idea is stupid, anyways? Why couldn't Farra help Red? Or Peter? Or Cassie? Or Kim, for that matter? Ruby Rose hates me! Nuff said!" He turned away and said, "Tell Asahi that I'm quitting the mission."

Steven barked, "Coward!" Mundy stopped, as he said, "Steven Cooke believes you are hiding something, but if we don't help Ruby Rose, Weiss'll never be President."

"So what? If we do, we may have created another Donald Trump!"

"We're voting Democrat!"

"Not me! I'm not even American!"

"It's Earth Presidency, asshole! Your vote matters!"

"OH? AND WHY? Because a Huntress hates my guts, because I want answers to how Roman Torchwick died? Roman died because of a sodding Grimm! BUT I WANNA KNOW WHO, HOW, AND WHY! AND YOU STAY THE FUCK OUT OF MY OWN PERSONAL MISSIONS, YOU FUCKING WANKER!"

Steven glared at him, "Is that so?" He turned away and said, "Do what you want. I'm not stopping you. But the minute you are in trouble, come to us… … … but not me."

Mundy walked off and yelled, "GAH! Who needs you?" He stormed off, as Steven sighed, thinking to himself, "I'm trying to be smart… and to be nice, but he's way out of line."

Steven waited, as Mundy was leaving the premises. Miki then asked Ruby, "I am curious about this… I know we talked a lot… But… What really happened at the Fall of Beacon? We all know about Roman Torchwick… but what else?"

Ruby bowed her head and said, "It's horrible to explain, but… I didn't want to share this with anyone, but you… You're an exception."

Ruby told her everything about The Fall of Beacon. Miki was astonished, as she thought, "No way… Cinder Fall was there, too?"

XXXXX

Mundy was walking down the street, as he attempted to contact HQ. However, he said… "Oh, right. There's no one there…" He contacted Emerald, "Hello?"

"Hello? Who is this?"

"It's Oscar. I'm near Red's home. But I can't do it. I'm with Steven and Miki, two of my allies, and–."

"DUDE! You're there! Tell Ruby about it! I'm sure she'll understand you–."

"It's not that! It's a different mission."

"Different, you say?" A woman in a red suit and long black hair appeared.

Mundy said, "I'll call you back." He hung up, as he called, "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?"

"Oscar Gooden, ICPO… Funny, you seemed to be full of yourself, since you came to help your friends and Team RWBY. That's a shame. It's too bad that you won't succeed… as you already failed."

Mundy held his machete up and said, "Look, woman, I am not in the mood. Move the hell on, or face my wrath! Because I'm not hospitable of your kind."

The woman said, "That's a shame. And this one thought maybe we'd get to know each other." She removed her suit, showing a full body tight suit. Mundy gasped, "Holy doody?"

The woman posed and said, "Now… Come get me, Deadeye."

Mundy groaned, "Yahhh… This is getting embarrassing… Why aren't the others coming to me?"

The woman dashed towards him, and he was knocked down by a kick. Mundy groaned, as he was on his knee. He cried, "Just who the hell are you? I'm not your enemy!"

"You are my enemy. You're with them, aren't you? Huntsman Gooden, as you call yourself."

"I'm NOT that kind of–, ohhhhhhhh, you're thinking I'm one of those huntresses…"

"Male hunters are Huntsmen. Female hunters are Huntresses."

"SO?"

She dashed at him, but he ducked and evaded the attack, dodging left. He barked, "You're lucky I don't hit a woman! But for you… among others, I'll make an excep–."
POW!
"…tion…" He was on the ground, after a blow to the face.

The woman approached him and said, "There. Now, do not interfere again."

She walked off, as Mundy held up his pistol, "You damned bitch!"

BANG!
He fired, but the woman deflected the shot. He gasped, as she glared, "You made a big mistake." She dashed forward, but he rolled out of the way. Her stomp produced a crater, and he was shocked. "She's not even human?"

The woman smirked, and then said, "Time to die, Hunter."

"It's Mundy."

"What's in a name? I'm going to kill you!"

"Make a move, cunt!"

They prepared to brawl, but the woman was too fast for him. She landed a swift left and a knee to the gut. Mundy crashed into a lamppost, and the woman dusted herself off. "All too easy."

Steven suddenly sensed from a distance, as he gasped, "Mundy!" he looked at the apartment, and he whispered, "Sorry, Miki." He raced off, leaving Miki with Ruby.

Ruby responded, "And that's about it…" She told her everything, about her journeys, including her confrontation with Cinder and Neo, even those that aligned with Salem.

"So… Mundy actually was hired by Neo?" Miki asked.

Ruby replied, "She still blames me and Cinder, yet she cannot decide who to blame mostly. Roman Torchwick died a jerk. He tried to kill me, if not for the assistance of a Griffon."

"I see. And it hurts you deeply." Miki responded, "And Neo wanted answers, whoever she is…"

"Neo's not a bad girl. She was a big creep." Ruby pouted.

Miki said, "I think I have all I need… and I'm sorry that I wasted your time." She sat up and said, "I should return to HQ. My mission is a failure."

"Wait! You said something about Weiss. What is it?"

Miki sighed, "What difference does it make? You won't support her."

"NO! I do support her. Why were you with those two? Especially the black guy?"

Miki looked out the window, but paused in shock, "No…" She cried, "They're gone!" Steven had already left, after Mundy walked out of the mission. Miki contacted Steven, "Miki to Agent Cooke, where are you? Steven! STEVEN!" No contact. She managed to locate them, and she said, "Dammit, where did they go? Stay here."

Ruby cried, "WAIT!" Miki dashed off, shovel in hand, and ran off to the boys' direction. Ruby was worried. She thought, "I wonder what happened… Her band suddenly retreated? Something tells me there's danger. It's not Cinder, Torchwick, or even *shudders* Tyrian…" she got dressed and said, "I guess there's only one way to find out."

She zipped off, in a red fireball.

The woman walked off, until Steven arrived, "Hey!"

The woman said, "Steven Cooke… What a surprise."

Steven asked, "Mundy! What happened?"

"SHE BEAT MY ARSE, THAT'S WHAT SHE DID! NO THANKS TO YOU!" Mundy yelled, "GTCH! Where the hell have you been?"

"I told you, you do as you please! I won't interfere with your personal problems, but Asahi said that I–."

"TO HELL WITH YOUR PREACHY BS! YOU SHOULD'VE SAVED ME, SOONER!"

"I was busy! If I'd known, you'd contact me! But you're too busy being a moody and secretive Huntsman!"

"SHHHH! NOT IN FRONT OF HER!"

The woman asked, "Huntsman? Are you a huntsman?" Steven said, "No. Steven Cooke is pure fist. But we are locating Ruby Rose, who is not in this city."

The woman stated, "That's not what he said." Mundy groaned, "She already knows."

He and the woman stared down, as he said, "What do you want with Ruby Rose, you twisted fiend? I will not let you take her. Mundy, stay back! She's mine."

Mundy groaned, "Good… Because I'm too injured to interfere." Steven and the woman stared down, as she said, "He's already spent. Now, we take out the strongest. This one… he is their leader."

"You could say that. Steven Cooke leads this team, but I work for another."

"So I heard."

"And you are? You're red and black, and about to have blue all over with it." He cracked his knuckles, "I never hit a woman, but in most cases, I'll make an exception. I fought bitches like you, as bad as you. And they all fell to my hand."

The woman said, "Aren't you very hospitable? The man that ended Onigiri. And here I thought The Chosen One was our target. It's time to show you where your place is." She zipped forward, "BELOW!"

He kicked her, but she blocked the attack. He landed a swift punch and kick barrage, but she was able to block each blow. He flipped back, and she was shoved back. She skidded back and said, "Crafty. You didn't lay a scratch on me."

He thought, "She's good. But not good enough."

"Well… You obviously have gotten stronger, unlike your friend here."

"I should say the same. But who are you, really? And why do you even want Ruby Rose or Team RWBY? We're after them, too, but not because of what you want."

"Is that so? Team RWBY is Remnant's most wanted fugitives… and General Ironwood wants their heads. Don't you see? Ironwood wants Team RWBY deleted."

Mundy said, "Ironwood's dead. You don't take his orders."

She said, "We know. But we still want Ruby Rose's head."

Steven stated, "Alright… Let's talk. Who are you, and what do you want with the huntresses?"

She responded, "Simply put, I'm an operative for the Secret Society… and to answer your question of who I am, this one's simply of no identity or name. But since we're going to go with a creative namesake, you can just call this one… … …Zero."

"Zero?"

Zero responded, "Yes. We are codenames, and are operatives for the Secret Society. We work for another, as we are different from your kind, from ragtag detectives to bumbling secret agents to you fools – reckless idiots. We're fully trained. This one is trained in the art of combat. That's what your black friend lost…"

"This one's what?" Steven asked, "What the hell are you?"

Zero stated, "We're what you call… Hive Drones. We work under one voice… one mind… one leader. We obey the Secret Society, and to destroy what gets in our way."

Mundy asked, "Why Team RWBY? And why us?"

Zero said, "This one is assigned to go after Ruby Rose… while the others locate the rest. Weiss Schnee is within our radar, while the rest are taken care of."

He asked, "You don't know where they are, do you?"

She said, "We do. But unfortunately, you're in our way."

Steven said, as he posed, "That's enough. I don't care who or what you are, but no one harms Ruby Rose." he called, "Mundy! Stay back! This lady is severely strong."

Mundy griped, "Good luck. I can't even lay a scratch on her!"

"She's not a robot."

"I know! If she is, she'd say so."

Zero smirked, "But this one is fully organic." She kicked him down, and she stepped back and prepared, "This one is better than you…"

Steven said, "Hive mind slaves… Just what I didn't want." He landed a kick, but she ducked, and she hit a palm strike. Zero remarked, as she stated to him, "I thought you'd be better than that. No matter. Steven Cooke's a slouch… and your friend's a weakling."

Miki called out, "You leave him alone!" She hopped up and was behind Zero. She called, "So, you're from the Secret Society? Good! I have a score with you!"

"I don't even know you, kid." Zero said.

"Miki Naoki, former Gaoki Clan member, and World Agency agent!"

"Ohh… The shrimp." Zero said, turning to her, "You have changed. You became a slave to the vampire, until you switched sides. I wanted to say this to you… You shouldn't have abandoned your place. What of your school and your life? This one has no life… but it found a new purpose."

Miki snarled, "Grr…" She thought, "She doesn't know me. I grew out of my past. My friends are with me…" She yelled, "Banter all you want! But I moved on! I AM NOT THE SAME MIKI NAOKI YOU KNEW! TO HELL WITH YOUR SOCIETY, AND TO HELL WITH YOU!"

Zero glared, "So… You'd rather die?" Steven yelled, "Miki! GET OUT OF HERE!" He kneed her back, and Zero rolled to her feet. She growled, "Who sneak-attacks someone from behind?"

"You were wide open."

"Nuh-uh! This one is deadly… and aware. Besides, I know all your moves."

"Since when?"

Zero paused and said, "I don't know… But I have watched you, all these years ago. This one knew you… as does the others."

Mundy asked, "Others? What are you talking about?"

Zero said, "Isn't it obvious? Team RWBY's our target… and we did a little divide and conquer. Weiss Schnee is our target, as well as Ruby Rose. But it seems that you three want me. Now, you suffer."

Zero posed, as Miki said, "No one harms our friends. Steven, Mundy, get out of here and go to Ruby! She's mine!"

Steven helped him up and said, "Come on. I don't care what you say." Mundy stated, "Naoki's gonna get herself killed! I'm staying here, and helping her."

Miki called, "GO NOW!" Zero and Miki clashed, as Mundy griped, "Goddamn it!" He and Steven head off. Zero hit Miki, but she used her shovel to deflect her blow. Miki swept her off her feet, and Zero did a backflip somersault, and landed on her feet. Miki growled, "That woman… She creases me…"

Miki was fighting Zero, as the boys were heading to Ruby's apartment. Trouble was… Ruby's already left.

Miki was cornered. Zero responded, "You haven't a prayer against me. You traitor."

"I'm no traitor."

At the apartment, the boys arrived, only they saw Ruby had already left. Steven growled, "She already fled?"

"Maybe she has errands." Mundy responded, "But we have to find her and protect her. God knows what that woman can do."

"Agreed. But I am curious to know why you and Ruby have a thing against each other."

"Never mind. We should head back to Miki, make sure that Zero doesn't escape."

"Right."

They hurried off, joining Miki. However…

Miki was tossed down, and Zero prepared a huge kick, "Now… Hold still, because it'll hurt. And this one won't feel sorry." She dashed forward, but was slashed away. She stepped back and gasped, "Eh? So…"

Miki gasped in shock, as Ruby appeared, donning her black attire and red cape. She was armed with a red mechanical scythe. Zero grinned, "Much better. I see that you remembered to surrender, and avoid any more bloodshed."

"Sorry… but the only blood dripping today is yours." She held Crescent Rose and barked, "I don't care what you want. Leave my friends alone! …by that, I mean Weiss. And Yang and Blake."

Zero screeched in a demonic tone, and then zipped towards her. Ruby swung her scythe around, striking at her, while Zero landed a barrage of punches and kicks. Ruby was able to take down Zero, like she was a walk in the park. Only Zero was unscathed.

"This is peculiar. Ruby Rose isn't that strong." Ruby smiled, as Zero was confused, "This one isn't that beaten so easily… How about–?"

POW!
Ruby kicked her in the ribs, and slashed her scythe to her. Zero avoided the blade, and she snarled, "This one is outclassed. Perhaps we shall meet again."

"No way!" Ruby responded, "If you escape, then I won't know the answer! Who are you, and why do you want Team RWBY?" She glared, as Zero said, "I'm speculated by this, but at least you seemed too intense. The Gang already knows… but not us. WE want to have you, soon enough. Soon, we shall meet again…"

She made her escape, but was blocked by a wayward explosion. Steven and Mundy appeared, as they surrounded Zero. Mundy aimed, and he said, "Hands up!"

Ruby squeaked, raising her hands up, "EEP!"
Mundy groaned, "Not you!"

Zero grinned evilly, "Idiots." She dashed away in a cloud of smoke, "That was my exit. We shall meet again. This one wants to know more about Steven Cooke and Ruby Rose."

Steven growled, "Dammit! She got away."

Miki got up, and Mundy said, "You okay?" Miki said, "Yeah… I'm fine. She was very strong."

She stepped back, as she hesitated, looking at Mundy. "Neo hired him… But I cannot tell Asahi. Maybe they don't want to know, because Neo was a criminal."

Steven barked, "I can't believe you let that freak escape!"

Mundy said, "Blame Red. She was oblivious to the matter." He walked off, "I'm gonna go. Don't wait up!"

Miki whispered, "Mundy…"

Ruby said, "What's wrong with him?"

"Nothing." Steven said, "I believe our work here is done. We're heading to HQ."

Ruby asked, "Wait…" She paused, and he stopped. "I want to know… Why are you so curious about Weiss?"

Steven said, "Would you support her, even in this world?"

"Always."

He then nodded and said, "If you wish to help us assist Weiss, would you leave this issue with Mundy behind and join us on this mission? We need all of Team RWBY, starting with the leader."

Ruby agreed and said, "It was a complete misunderstanding between us… but I'm game. What do you plan on doing to Weiss?"

Steven told Ruby everything, including their plan to make Weiss Schnee the newest President of Earth. Ruby's eyes widened and she shrieked, "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?"

Meanwhile, in New York, inside a party, Farra was walking to the powder room, looking to freshen herself up. She grumbled, "Ugh… This dress is killing me. Not my size, but Cassie should've fixed the damned bust line." She bumped into a woman in white hair and said, "Oop, pardon me."

"Whatever." Farra sighed, "This dress is killing me."

"Naturally. It's small for your body."

She adjusted her braid, and Farra saw her face. They stared down, and she saw her – complete with braid, blue eyes, and a scar on her face.

"Can I help you?"

Farra was in the presence of Team RWBY's Weiss Schnee.

Farra stared down and said, "Weiss Schnee?"

"Yes… How did you know my name?" Weiss asked.

Farra responded, "Let's talk."

Weiss walked off, "Sorry, but I'm in no mood. Besides, I'm not into it."

Farra barked, "Wait a second! It's just a quiet chat, privately."

"Absolutely not. Besides, I don't trust someone like you."

Weiss left, as Farra was annoyed. She griped, "Come the fuck on! I was just offering you a deal!" She groaned, dropping her head, "I just wish the others had the job done."

Meanwhile, in the ruins, Peter, Cassandra, January, & Riho kept walking, until they spotted a lone building in ruins. January said, "There, dead ahead."

Riho asked, "Who's that?"

A lone woman, dressed in white and purple, was reading a book, leaning over the steel beams, and relaxed. She had short black hair and cat ears.

Peter said, "That's her. Blake Belladonna…"

Cassandra asked, "What is she reading?"

Riho scanned it and gasped, "OH? That's… So filthy…" January asked her, "What's wrong?" Riho asked, "This is filth! FILTH! Her book!" Cassandra viewed it from a distance and said, "Ninjas of Love… Wha? I don't get it."

Peter said, "Focus. We have Blake in our perimeters. Let's go."

They headed to see Blake, unaware of someone following them.

We'll get back to them in a later chapter. With Ruby Rose somehow joining The Gang's mission, how will they convince Weiss Schnee to join their cause? And who is this Secret Society that has targeted our Huntresses?
