Not good enough", Not good enough?! She means-She means I'm not good enough. They all think I'm not good enough. I bet they'll be happier if I just left. So that's what I'll do. I'm just gonna-gonna take my things and just go away, Yeah.

(Martin packs his things.)

Martin Brisby: Goodbye, Mom. I hope you and my siblings are better off without me and I hope you find a new son that is good enough.

(Martin sadly leaves the house while carrying his hobo bag.)

(In the middle of the night Martin was running away looking for a home then along came a kangaroo named Matilda she was a reporter from Bushtown

Matilda saw Martin sitting and crying in the middle of the field.)

Matilda Roo: What's wrong kid?

Martin Brisby: *sniffs* I have been rude to Auntie Shrew and my Mom and my sister are mad at me. My Mom yelled at me and she wouldn't forgive me and my sisters were being mean to me. Now my Mom and my sisters hate me and they think I'm horrid.

(Martin then started to cry then Matilda picks Martin up and hugs him.)

Matilda Roo: There there don't cry. I'll be your new mommy.

Martin Brisby: R-really?

Matilda Roo: Of course sweetheart. What's you're name?

Martin Brisby: My name is Martin.

Matilda Roo: Would you like to live with me and take a nice bubble bath.

Martin Brisby: Yes, I would like that very much.

Matilda puts Martin in her pouch and they went off to Bushtown Martin signed the adoption contract to permanently stay in Bushtown. Matilda puts Martin in a nice hot bubble bath to make him feel better to soothe his hurt feelings.

Martin Brisby: Ah….

Matilda Roo: How do you feel my baby boy?

Martin Brisby: I'm feeling so much better now. This warm bubble bath is really relaxing.

Matilda Roo: I'm glad to hear that.

Martin Brisby: You know you are much nicer Mom to me.

Matilda Roo: Aw thanks Martin. Now let me tuck you into bed.

Martin Brisby: Okay, Mommy.

(Martin got out of the tub and puts on his new blue pajamas with stars on them and then Matilda tucked Martin to bed. Matilda read some bedtime stories with Martin and then she sang a lullaby to him call Think Of Me. Martin fell asleep.)

Matilda Roo: Goodnight, munchkin.

(Matilda turned off the lights.)
