Chapter 43- Callie
Working in a kennel slinging dog shit, its really not what I had planned for my life, but I love it. Especially now that my mom is working right beside me. Who would have thought, Lucia Torres would be working in a dirty kennel cleaning up dog shit and piss, but she is. I look up and see her laughing with Daniel. Meeting Arizona was the best thing that has happened to me, my father might not like it but my mom sure is loving it. I can't believe she is still staying out here, and Aria too, she seems to really like Alex, and I can tell Alex feels the same. Arizona told me that she's never seen him this happy. Aria has been here for a few weeks now, I've been meaning to ask when or if she's planning on going back to Miami, where she was living, but I always get side tracked when we are alone. "hey you about done in here?" speak of the devil, I laugh.
"yes, we just have to spray out the last kennel" mom says, I look up tilting my head "why?"
"I was thinking once they're done with the fence we could run into town and start getting the party supplies" I smile yay wedding prep, I love it. "sounds good" I smile and hear mom and Daniel laugh.
"why don't you ladies go get cleaned up, I'll finish out here" Daniel says, I hear my mom start to argue with him about it, but one thing I have learned about Daniel Robbins is he always wins the argument.
"I think they are almost done, they were putting in the last pole when I was out there a few minutes ago" just as she finished, we heard the tractor pull up, Aria smiles "see" I shake my head and put my shovel away in the closet, when I turned around my heart about leaped out of my chest. There was my soon-to-be wife, standing there with water dripping off her. I don't bother asking what happened, shaking my head I reach for her hand "we have first dibs on the shower" I say pulling Arizona through the kennel and to the house. Not bothering with going upstairs for clothes I pull her into the bathroom and lock the door. "strip" I say, she smiles and does what I say. As I do the same "Aria wants to go into town once we're cleaned up"
"ok" Arizona smiles she and I turn to start the shower. I feel her smack my bare ass and laugh, when I stand up, she wraps her arms around me, kissing my neck "I love you" she whispers.
"I love you" I say and turn my head, when our lips meet, I know this is going to be a long shower, and Alex is going to bitch about having to take a cold shower. I pull away and step in, the water felt amazing on my sweaty skin, but Arizona's tongue felt even more amazing, she had stepped in right behind me and went straight for my nipple. "oh god" I moan as she grazes it with her teeth "we have to make this quick" she says pushing me back against the wall. I couldn't say anything I was already almost there. There is something about hearing her tell me she loves me that always gets me there quick. She was quick, as she inserted 2 fingers inside of me, finding the spot right away. "a quick fuck in the shower and later I'll slowly make love to you" hearing her say that set me off, as I explode around her fingers. "god I love you Arizona" I say once my breathing became normal. I see her smile, popping those dimples "I love you too" she leans in kissing me "now come on, let's get clean" she says reaching for the shampoo to wash my hair.
"Alex and I were going to start on the barn" she says as we make small talk while cleaning each other.
"you better get going you're running out of time"
"it won't take long, once we get started" she says, motioning for me to turn around so she can get my back. Once we are done, we wrap the towels around us, and head upstairs. I have to laugh when I hear Alex yell that the water is cold. Arizona and I both smile, as we put our clothes on. By the time we make it downstairs everyone is dressed and waiting for us. Arizona reaches for my hand, then for her keys. She follows me to the passenger side and opens the door for me. I smile and place a soft kiss on her lips as I climb into the SUV. "alright" Arizona says after starting the car "where too"
"the mall" Aria pipes up, Arizona nods and we pull out.
