The forest was eerily silent after Red's scream had pierced the air. Tweek's heart pounded in his chest as he and Kyle ran through the trees, the crunch of leaves and snapping twigs the only sounds cutting through the unsettling quiet. The fading light of the setting sun cast long, twisting shadows across the ground, making the forest feel more closed in with every step.
Tweek: "Kyle… what if something happened to them?"
Kyle: "We don't know anything yet. Let's just find them."
Stan, Wendy, Butters, Emily, Lucas, Clyde, Tolkien and Bebe were right behind them, all driven by a gnawing sense of dread. They pushed through the underbrush until finally, they reached the spot where they had heard the scream. The area was eerily quiet, the trees casting long shadows across the forest floor.
Wendy: "Where… where are they?"
The group scanned the clearing, their eyes darting between the trees, but there was no sign of Red or Annie. The air was thick with tension, the fading daylight casting an ominous glow over the scene.
Stan: "They were right here! We heard the scream!"
Emily: "Maybe they went back to the lodge. Maybe Red went to get help."
Butters: "B-but what if they're lost? Or worse?"
Just as they were about to turn back, Stan froze, his eyes locked on something in the shadows at the edge of the clearing. He stepped forward slowly, his breath catching in his throat.
Stan: "Guys… over here." he said quietly.
The group followed him to the edge of the trees, and that's when they saw her—Annie, lying motionless on the ground in two halves, her body caught in a crude snare. The thin piece of sharp wire had cut straight through her waist, and the color had drained from her face.
Wendy: "Oh my God… Annie…"
Tweek: "Where's Red? Where did she go?"
But there was no sign of Red. Only the lifeless body of Annie, abandoned in the shadows of the forest.
Clyde: "Where's Red?! She was just with Annie! She couldn't have gone far!"
The group quickly realized that something far worse than an accident had happened. Red was missing, and Annie was dead. They didn't know what—or who—had set the trap, but whatever it was, it was deliberate.
Kyle: "We have to get back to the lodge, now!" he says urgently.
They wasted no time. Grabbing Annie's body, they hurried back through the woods, fear gnawing at the edges of their minds. The atmosphere, once calm and serene, now felt hostile. Every snapping twig and rustle of leaves sent their hearts racing. When they finally reached the lodge, the group rushed inside, slamming the door behind them. The dim light of the evening crept through the windows, casting long shadows across the walls.
Stan: "We need to call Officer Howard. We need help." says while trying to catch his breath.
(Lucas checks the radio)
Lucas: "There's nothing—no signal. We're cut off."
Tweek: "What do we do? What if Red's out there… hurt?"
Wendy: "We stay together. No one goes anywhere alone."
But just as she said that, the lights in the lodge flickered. For a brief second, the room was bathed in eerie shadows, and then the power cut out entirely, plunging them into darkness.
Butters: "Wh-what just happened? Why did the lights go out?"
The group was thrown into chaos as the lights flickered and went out. In the sudden pitch-black of the lodge, their breaths grew more ragged. The only light came from the fading glow of the dying fire, casting an orange hue over their anxious faces.
Wendy: "It's probably just the fuse. We need to fix it."
Tolkien: "I'll go check the fuse box outside. It's not far."
Kyle: "We should go together, Token. We don't know what's out there."
Tolkien: "No, I'll be quicker on my own. Just stay here, I'll be right back."
Before anyone could protest further, Token grabbed a flashlight and headed for the door. The lodge felt suddenly emptier as the door creaked shut behind him. Wendy, Kyle, and Stan exchanged worried looks, while Tweek, jittery as ever, stood frozen by the window, staring out at the forest. The air outside was thick with the scent of pine and the distant sounds of the forest. Token moved cautiously, the beam of his flashlight cutting through the heavy darkness. The lodge loomed behind him, but the further he walked, the smaller it seemed against the towering trees.
Tolkien: "Just fix the fuse… get the lights back on… and get back inside." he mutters to himself.
The path to the fuse box wasn't far, but it felt like miles in the pitch-black forest. His flashlight flickered as he reached the small, weathered structure where the fuse box was attached. He crouched down, examining the old equipment.
Tolkien: "Come on… don't be busted."
Just as he began checking the fuse box, something rustled behind him. Token froze, his heart skipping a beat as the sound echoed through the trees. He whipped around, shining the flashlight into the woods, but there was nothing. Just the trees swaying gently in the night air.
Tolkien: "It's just the wind…"
But the uneasy feeling in his gut told him otherwise. He quickly finished adjusting the fuse box, flicking a few switches back into place. As he did, the distant lights of the lodge flickered back to life, their glow spilling weakly through the trees.
Tolkien: "Got it."
He stood up and turned to head back, but something—or someone—stepped out from the shadows. Before Token could react, a heavy blow struck the side of his head, sending him crashing to the ground. His flashlight rolled away, the beam spinning wildly before going dark. The last thing Token saw before his world went black was the towering silhouette of the figure standing over him, its face obscured by the darkness. Back inside the lodge, the lights flickered weakly back to life, casting a dim glow across the room. The group breathed a collective sigh of relief as the electricity returned, but the tension in the air was still thick.
Kyle: "Where's Tolkien? He should be back by now."
Tweek: "What if something happened to him? What if he didn't make it back?"
Emily: "We should've never let him go alone…"
Clyde: "I'll go out there and check"
Wendy: "No! We don't split up. Not after what happened to Annie and Red."
But before anyone could act, the TV flickered on, casting an eerie glow in the dim room.
Stan: "What the hell…?"
The static on the screen sent chills down their spines. Everyone in the lodge turned toward the TV, confused and wary. Then, the static cleared, revealing a dimly lit room. Two figures sat in the center, tied to chairs and gagged.
Butters: "Oh no… it's Tolkien and Red!"
Red's face was streaked with tears, her eyes wide with terror as she struggled against the ropes. Token was slumped forward, blood dripping from a wound on his head, barely conscious. Their muffled cries echoed through the lodge, sending waves of panic through the group.
Wendy: "Who's doing this? Why are they—?"
Before she could finish her sentence, a voice crackled through the speakers. It was distorted, low, and cold, sending a shiver down everyone's spine.
Mysterious Voice: "You didn't think it was over, did you, Tweek?"
Tweek's heart stopped. His entire body went cold as the voice called out to him specifically. He looked around wildly, his breath coming in short gasps.
(Tweek starts to panic)
Tweek: "No… no... no!"
The voice continued, ignoring Tweek's panic.
Mysterious Voice: "after what YOU did to Kenny and Craig , i wanna send a message, It's simple really. You have a choice to make. Red… or Tolkien. Only one of them gets to live. And it's up to you to decide."
A heavy silence fell over the room. The group stared at the screen in disbelief, their hearts pounding in their chests. The camera slowly zoomed in on Red, who was shaking her head, her eyes pleading for her life. Then it cut to Token, who was barely conscious but still breathing, his head lolling forward in pain.
Kyle: "No… no, we can't do this…"
Butters: "We can't choose! It's not fair!"
The distorted voice cut through their panic, cold and unrelenting.
Mysterious Voice: "You'll make your choice… or I'll make it for you. And trust me, you won't like my decision."
Emily: "We can't… this isn't happening…"
Lucas: "We can't let either of them die! We have to find a way to stop this."
The screen zoomed in on both Red and Token, their muffled cries echoing through the lodge.
Wendy: "We… we have to figure this out. What do we do?"
Tweek stood frozen, the weight of the situation crushing him. His mind raced, but no solution came. There was no way out of this. No way to escape the twisted game they were being forced to play.
Mysterious Voice: "Tick-tock, Tweek… Tick-tock, you all have an hour to decide."
The screen flickered once more, and then the countdown began—a ticking clock echoing ominously through the lodge. They had mere minutes to decide.
Stan: "We have to do something!"
The group was paralyzed by fear and indecision. The clock kept ticking, and with each second, the reality of what they had to do became clearer.
Kyle: "Tweek… we have to choose…"
And just as the tension reached its breaking point, the screen went black, causing more tension through the group, no way of contacting Officer Howard and Two of their friends taken, they must make a tough decision for their own survival. Who will live and who will die.
