Chapter 4 Tales of Old Part 1
Skeletor was at Snake Mountain. "I hate that He Man," Skeletor said. "I have been fighting him for a long time and I don't know how to beat him." he said. "He drives me crazy," he said.
"Maybe you can find answers in you ancestor's diary, Skeletor," Beast man said. "He defeat He-Ro the First champion of Eternia maybe there you can find an answer," he said.
"Hmm an interesting thought Beast man," Skeletor said. "I shall look in my ancestors diary and find out," he said.
Meanwhile, Orko was out about looking around in evergreen forest. "There sure is a lot to see around here." Orko said. "I wonder what might happen today." he said. Orko saw something it was an old tree and he looked inside the hollow part. There was something in there and he pulled it out. It was book the cover was covered in dirt and dust. But it wasn't wet at all or moldy. "Hmm must have a magic charm on it." he said. "I better take this book back and clean it up." he said.
Orko proceed to take the book back to the palace. He was in his magic room now an using a book cover cleaning potion. Then Andra and Damien came in. "Andra, Damien what do you two want?" Orko asked.
"We want to know if you want to play the new board game we got," Damien said. "It looks pretty cool," he said.
"Well I am kind of busy right now," Orko answered.
"Doing what?" Andra asked.
"I am cleaning off this old book I found in the forest," Orko said. "it is has got a thick layer of dirt and dust on it," he said. "So I am being very careful in cleaning it off with this cover cleaner potion," he said.
"Why?" Damien asked.
"Because if I am not careful I can actually remove the wording and picture on the cover underneath and I don't want that," Orko said.
"Hey let me help," Andra said and then accidently spilled the cleaner potion on the book.
"Andra!" Orko said. Then began to dry the book off and wiped the cover. "You could've ruined the book," he said.
"Oops," Andra said.
Then cover was now clean and the potion surprisingly hadn't damaged the title or the picture on the book. "Like it wasn't harmed," Damien said.
"I thought this book had a magic spell on it protecting it from some kinds of damage, apparently it protects it from all kinds of damage." Orko said. Then he got a good look at it. "I can hardly believe it." he said.
"What is it Orko?" Andra asked.
"This book is Azron's diary, it says right here in Trollan this journal is the property of Azron, and there is his ring mark," Orko said.
"It looks just like the ring on your robe," Damien said.
"I wonder what he wrote in here," Orko said. "Maybe it has something that can help me," he said. "If I learn from one of my predecessor's past, maybe I could learn something that can help me in the future in helping find my own destiny." he said.
"That sounds interesting," Andra said.
"I am going to start reading it," Orko said.
"Come on Orko let's play our game, and join us," Andra said.
"Andra, I have to read this, it is important," Orko said.
"Andra, Orko has to do this, he will hang out with us later," Damien said. Then they left Orko in his magic room.
Meanwhile on Snake Mountain Skeletor found his ancestor's diary. "Here we are the diary of the evil and terrible Skeldon," Skeletor said. He proceed to open the diary.
I remember when He Ro first appeared. He was a very young hero too. I remember before he was the champion and how we used to be friends. He was a value to me. He was good friend too. But I was unaware how things would change one day thanks to a little pest from another world. That no good Trollan Azron!
Skeldon was hanging out with He Ro as a young teen and they were having fun. Then suddenly a strange creature appeared. "Hello I am Azron, I come from the far of world of Trolla and I wish to know the way to castle grayskull I have important business there," Azron said.
"Just follow that path it will lead you there, keep in mind it still being built, and it is very mysterious place," He Ro said.
"I know and thank you," Azron said and left.
"What did he want?" Skeldon asked He Ro.
"He wanted to know how to get to Gray skull," He Ro answered. "I wonder what kind of business he has there." he said.
Meanwhile in his magic room Orko sat down with food and drink at his table. Then he opened the diary of Azron. "Okay," Orko said.
I remember all of us Trollans were proud of our magical powers, proud that we helped bring magic to other worlds. I am proud to be a Trollan. But I am just a mere Mage smith for now and I just finished creating my staff and ring. I was wondering if there is more meant for me out there.
Azron was with another Trollan. "I doubt there is much out there Azron," said a young wizard he was talking too.
"But Gorpo I think I am destined to be more than a mere mage smith," Azron said. "I have made this ring and staff but I feel I am meant for something more," he said. "I feel I have a greater destiny," he said.
"Destiny?" Gorpo said. "You are mage smith you make things for other wizards," he said. "I know I am destined for great things, some day I will have the whole universe eating out of Trolla's hand," he said.
"But I fear that great evil will come from that Gorpo," Azron said. "That might lead to your destruction," he told him.
"I doubt that," Gorpo said.
"I got go and I need time to think to myself," Azron said heading into the woods.
"He can't see how great my dream is," Gorpo said and left.
Azron was heading into the woods. He thought he heard someone calling to him. He was following the voice. "Hello someone there?" Azron said.
"I am glad you have finally arrive," the star tree said.
Azron saw the star tree and got down sat and bowed his head. "Mighty star tree how may I be of service?" Azron asked.
"Dear Azron I see in you a very special heart, there for I shall bless thee," The star tree said. "You will be able to see visions of future and see warnings and have great wisdom," it said. "For I now make you the Oracle," it said.
Azron held out staff over his head and the star tree touched it and blessed him.
Back at Snake mountain Skeletor was reading more of Skeldon's diary.
My friend had become friends with Azron. He saw him often and would train with him. Yet I didn't know why.
"Azron is very strange, why are you friends with him?" Skeldon asked.
"I just am, he is a very nice person," He Ro said. "So try not worry about it." he said.
Orko at the royal palace kept reading the diary of Azron.
I soon began to experience visions. Which I figured out I could see from my ring and used to to help others. Many of them were grateful for my help. I even used my wisdom to help others. Many appreciated what I could do. But my friend Gorpo was another story.
"Why did the star tree bless you?" Gorpo asked. "You are nothing but a mage smith? Why did it choose you to be the oracle I should've been chosen for that!" he said. "I am so much better than you!" he said.
"Gorpo who are you to judge the star tree?" Azron asked. "It is very wise and knows more than all of us," he said.
"I wonder what all this has to do with being a ringbearer?" Orko said out loud.
"Orko you still reading that book?" Adam asked coming in. "I thought I might bring you, your dinner," he said.
"Thanks Adam," Orko said. "I am just at the very start of this book and it is a very thick book too," he said. "I have a feeling that this is going to take a while," he said. "I have to know about Azron's experience's that way I can probably figure out how I can improve here on Eternia." he said.
"I know but try not to stay up too late, last thing you need is to tire yourself out." Adam said.
"Okay Adam," Orko said.
Meanwhile at Snake Mountain. "I will keep reading this until I can find the answer of defeating He Man!" Skeletor said.
To be continued...
"Hi in today's story you read that how two people who were mentioned to be enemies in old times started out as friends," King Randor said. "Truth be told some people who are enemies did start out as friends," he said. "But it goes both ways because some people who are friends now did start out as enemies." he said. "Sometimes a dear friend can become a terrible enemy and sometimes an nasty enemy can become a most trusted friend." he said.
