Haku Yuki (Naruto / Bleach)
Personality :
In her Vasto Lorde form, Haku retains a semblance of her former gentle demeanor, but it is now overshadowed by her growing obsession with Naruto.
Her love for him, which started as admiration and gratitude, has evolved into something far more possessive and twisted.
Haku's new existence is fueled by the desire to reunite with Naruto, no matter the cost. She believes that she can "protect" him better in death than anyone could in life.
To her, Naruto represents salvation, purity, and strength, the only light in her otherwise cold, dark existence.
Haku sees herself as Naruto's protector, convinced that the two are destined to be together even beyond death. She has convinced herself that Naruto belongs to her, and anyone who gets too close to him is a threat.
Chap 7
Sui-Feng
She doesn't even scout the enemy first.
*Foolish decision. Yes!*
But it was just a momentary decision to save someone's life before her eyes.
Sui-Feng dashed forward, keeping moving her speed blinding as she used Shunpo to close the distance between them in an instant. She appeared directly at the white-haired girl, her Zanpakuto poised for a deadly strike aimed at the thing's heart.
But she thinks it was ready for her strike.
A wall of ice rose up from the ground, blocking her attack.
Nigeki Kessatsu
*Clang*
The ice was unnaturally strong, and the force of Sui-Feng strike barely left a scratch. Before she could retreat, the Thing retaliated, a blast of freezing wind and shards of ice exploding from her palm.
And it blew away a male Shinobi.
*What is he doing out here?*
Her barely managed to evade, leaping back just in time she could feel the cold bite into her skin. The temperature was dropping rapidly, and the air around That Hollow was becoming hostile.
*Ah, I forgot. I need to get that Shinobi out of the way!*
"Kushina, you got one human in your way. Knock him out!"
"Got it! I'm almost there."
Despite the incredible power emanating from the Higher Hollow, there was a certain hesitance in her movements, a lack of control.
*Maybe? The newly transformed Vasto Lorde had yet to master her abilities.*
*It's still learning how to control!*
Her eyes flicked over the frozen patches of ground beneath the Vasto Lorde's feet. The cold had spread across the battlefield, but it lacked the precision of an experienced wielder. The ice was unfocused, wild.
The Vasto Lorde's cold eyes locked onto Sui-Feng, her expression unreadable, but there was a flicker of uncertainty in her gaze. She raised her hand, and immediately, the air around them grew colder.
Icicles began forming in midair, jagged and erratic, as if her energy was leaking out uncontrollably.
"Who… who are you?" the Vasto Lorde whispered. "What do you want?" her voice echoing unnaturally.
Sui-Feng didn't respond. She had faced countless enemies before—hollows, Shinobi, even captains—and she knew better than to underestimate this Vasto Lorde, despite her inexperience. But hesitation, in battle, was fatal.
With a burst of Shunpo, she vanished, moving at incredible speed as she closed the distance between them.
In an instant, she appeared behind the Vasto Lorde, her golden stinger-like Zanpakuto, Suzumebachi, aimed directly at the hollow's heart. One strike, and it would be over.
Kushina
She had been dead for how long, separated from everything and everyone she loved, and now, somehow, she had been given a second chance. But it wasn't a return to life.
Her mind raced even faster than her body, thoughts swirling in a chaotic mix of fear and determination. She burst through the tree line, skidding to a halt on the edge of a battle-scarred clearing.
As she neared the clearing, Kushina skidded to a halt, her eyes widening at the sight in front of her. A figure lay on the ground, motionless, the snow stained red with blood.
Her heart clenched with panic, and she immediately sprinted toward the injured Shinobi.
Dropping to her knees beside the fallen figure, Kushina carefully turned him over. As soon as she looked at his face, a wave of relief washed over her.
Konoha Shinobi, white hair, sharingan*
He was a tall, silver-haired man with a masked face. His breathing was shallow and ragged. His clothes were torn, and his body was battered with cuts and bruises, indicating he had been in a brutal fight.
He is still councious*
Tanma Otoshi
"Sleep, I will take care of you."
Kushina frowned. This wasn't Naruto, but someone who clearly needed help—and fast.
Her hands glowing with a faint yellow light as she prepared to heal his wounds.
"He's just a regular Shinobi," she muttered to herself as she gently began to mend his injuries. Her Reiryoku (Spiritual Power) flowed steadily into him, sealing up the worst of his wounds.
*A chunin, maybe. Poor guy. Must've gotten caught up in a battle way beyond his pay grade.*
Kushina worked quickly and efficiently, her hands moving over his injuries with practiced ease. She had always been skilled with healing people, and despite the chaos and uncertainty in her life now that she had temporarily returned to the world of the living, her instincts kicked in immediately.
As she healed him, she couldn't shake the nagging feeling that something about him was oddly familiar. His silver hair, the scar under his visible eye—there was something there, tugging at the edge of her memory, but she couldn't quite place it. She had been gone for so long, after all. Faces and names from her past blurred together in her mind.
"Well, at least you'll live," she muttered, her voice softening as she sat back on her heels. "You must have a hard head, huh?"
"I need to keep moving."
Kakashi…? The name drifted through her mind, but she quickly dismissed it. No, this couldn't be Kakashi. She had known him as a boy, Minato's young and talented student.
The shinobi groaned softly, blinking up at her as if trying to focus. "Kushina-san…" His voice was weak, and his hand lifted slightly as if reaching for something—or someone.
Her heart pounded in her chest. "Who… who are you?" she demanded, her voice suddenly sharper.
The Shinobi's eye, though half-lidded and foggy with pain, locked onto hers. "It's me… Kakashi," he breathed, barely audible.
She knelt back down, her hands shaking slightly as she looked at him more closely. The silver hair, the scar, the masked face—it all fit, but the years had changed him. He wasn't the same boy she had known. He was older, battle-worn, and scarred not just physically but emotionally.
"Kakashi," she whispered, her voice trembling. Guilt flooded her as she realized she hadn't recognized him earlier. How could she have not known? "Why… why you here?."
Kakashi's eye closed again, his body sinking back into unconsciousness as the strain overtook him once more.
Kushina remained frozen for a moment, her heart heavy with a mix of emotions—shock, guilt, and an overwhelming sadness. She had been gone for so long, and the world had changed. Her son had grown up without her, and the people she once knew had become strangers.
But now wasn't the time to dwell on the past.
"Kakashi," she whispered again, her voice soft but filled with resolve. "Rest. I'll find Naruto. I promise."
But as she turned to leave, her thoughts weighed heavily on her. What if Naruto was in a fight like this, with enemies as dangerous as the ones that had injured Kakashi? The thought alone made her stomach twist in knots. She couldn't afford to waste any more time.
static radio voice
"KUSHINA!"
"Kushina! You have to see THIS."
