As Gura was fleeing from this building, Kiara screamed: "Gura, wait!" Calliope, however, kept her eyes on the leviantis that was still running towards them. To protect her distracted phoenix friend, she swung her scythe diagonally and hoped to stop its movement. However, it pushed itself to the left with its right side thrusters and after avoiding the attack, it pushed itself towards the phoenix with its both thrusters. It raised its left arm and swung at Kiara, who just moved her eyes back to the battle. She was about to defend herself with her sword, but she was too slow. With the broken blade, the robot cut down her right arm. Even though she was in great pain, she growled at it and grabbed with her left hand her lost limp, which began to burn. She stepped with her left foot forward, raised her arm above her head and swung her separated part, as if it was a weapon, at her opponent. When it hit its head, it began to split the robot into two and with a loud scream, Kiara pushed her new weapon deeper into the leviantis deep body and cut it in half. The killer robot stopped moving, and both halves fell to the ground. One down, four to go. The flames from her lost arm vanished, leaving a new, more powerful sword behind. She took a step forward, before collapsing to the ground. She breathed heavily, as her eyes slowly wandered to her new weapon.

"Sh*t." she said. "Used too much energy to create a solarflame." Calliope was relieved after seeing her friend defeat one of their opponents, but didn't notice the dilemma, Kiara was in. She redirected her attention to the remaining enemies, who already began to move and prepared their cannons for the next attack. The one with a gem in its torso suddenly grabbed one of its comrades, who started its chainsaw legs, and lifted it up in the air. The one with a sword arm aimed his canon at the legs and shot. The last one created a sound wave to vaporize the beam after its contact with the chainsaw, creating a mist in the process to limit Calliope's vision. She lowered her body a bit, strengthened her grip around her scythe, and closed her eyes in hopes of locating her enemies. Unfortunately, she forgot that her opponents are inanimate objects, and thus her reaper senses were only able to detect her friends behind her. Realizing her mistake, she opened up her eyes and jumped backwards to protect her friends. She suddenly heard two beams firing at her from both of her sides. She jumped into the air and avoided the attack, and then heard another charging noise coming from her front. This time, a red beam was fired at her. She swung her scythe and cut it in half. However, she noticed that her weapon began to form very small cracks. As she landed on the ground, she noticed something came flying from her side through the mist towards her face, and she reactively put her scythe up to block the chain saw. One of the chain blades grabbed the pole of her scythe and would normally push her weapon away and behead her, but she had a steady stance and held her scythe with all her might, thus stopping the chain from moving for a bit. The leviantis then lifted its other leg from the ground and through the force of the chainsaw it pulled itself towards the reaper and swung with its free leg at her. She ducked, turned around and pulled on her scythe. The pole slid through the chainsaw and her blade was able to cut another limb down. This achievement was short-lived as she had to witness as the leviantis with the speaker had immobilized Kiara with its sound waves. Unable to move her body properly, the phoenix had no choice but see a bright red light flash up in the mist in the distance and get hit by the red beam. Her body was in flames, and she screamed in agony.

"KIARA!" Calliope shouted before she was cut from her left shoulder to her right hip by the sword leviantis. "F*CK!" she screamed, overwhelmed by the situation. Luckily, her torso held on to the scythe. She turned her upper body in midair and slammed the blade into the head of the sword leviantis. It tried to protect itself with its sword. However, Calliope engulfed her blade moments before impact with black flames and therefore easily cut through its weapon. But she didn't have enough force to push her weapon deeper into the torso. The pain of being cut finally numbed her body and she lost her strength to hold onto her weapon. She fell to the ground and a lot of her black blood had already left her body. The cracks on her weapon became bigger.

"Reconstruct!" she shouted as her blood outside her body was merging and moved the torso toward its legs and her cut began to heal. As soon as she could feel her feet again, she jumped away from her spot. She then heard another white beam shortly after. It was shot by the sword leviantis which she thought, she had destroyed it. Now she knew that the core had to be in the torso and not in its head. However, her attack was not for nothing as she noticed that the beam would have missed her, meaning, that its sensor elements must be in its head. It raised its cannon again but pointed in a direction where there was nothing. Calliope tried to call her scythe and to use this opportunity to reduce their numbers by one, but her arms hadn't fully recovered yet. She heard a chainsaw starting its engine and as she looked up, she saw the chainsaw leviantis jumping up, raising its functional chainsaw leg and was about to cut her in half. She attempted to avoid the attack by jumping. However, because she hadn't used this ability in a long time, she became somewhat rusty and her recovery was incomplete. Her lower body didn't listen to her order. She cursed the fact that she was not strong enough to protect her friends, as she could not see a way out without putting her friends in danger. Then she heard a loud "Kikeriki!" as Kiara dashed to her aid and cut down the leg of her opponent. Now having no legs left to stand on, the leviantis hovered in the air with the help of its thrusters and winded up its right fist. It swung its fist towards Kiara's face, but she blocked it with a new shield she created moments ago and pushed its right arm down. It rotated 180 degrees in the air and pointed the charged up cannon towards her and fired a white beam. With a loud scream, Kiara swung her sword towards it, cutting the beam and its opponent both in halves. After seeing the broken sword leviantis the phoenix ran towards it and put it out of its misery. Calliope, shocked by what she just witnessed, looked behind her and saw the destroyed speaker leviantis lying on the ground. Only one killer robot left.

"Can you move?" Kiara asked Calliope. The apprentice got the feeling of her body back and slowly stood up. She then picked up her scythe from the destroyed sword leviantis.

"Yes. How are you not exhausted, and how did you survive the attack?"

"It turns out that I am able to absorb this red beam. For now, let me kill this thing, and you should go and find Gura, ok?"

Calliope nodded and with a scream, Kiara dashed forward while Calliope sprinted for the exit. Suddenly, the ceiling behind the bed began to collapse and 3 new leviantis landed on the ground. Ina'nis had hidden herself during the confrontation behind the bed and took Amelia with her. Now both of them were in great danger. Calliope changed her direction and ran towards them. Kiara, too, turned around and was about to move towards the bed when suddenly another robot landed directly in front of her.

"Get out of my way!" Kiara shouted as swung her sword against her opponent who had its back turned to her. It opened 4 armor plates and wind current came from the openings which redirected her sword to the ground. Then it turned around and punched into her surprised face. She backed up a bit, to negate the impact as much as possible, rotated her body and was about to run past it when she suddenly got hit from behind by a white beam, fired by the gem leviantis and got restrained by the other one. Meanwhile, Calliope desperately threw her scythe towards the group of leviantis behind the bed, however one of them happened to be a speaker leviantis which pushed her weapon away.

"INA!" Calliope shouted.

"AME!" Kiara screamed.

Ina'nis had never resolved to violence, ever since she was adopted as the daughter of the demon king. Everyone around her was probably too afraid to lay a finger on her as to not enrage their king and avoided her for the longest time. Every confrontation she had was always a friendly discussion. Her father had never let her train in any martial arts, and she genuinely never had the urge to physically hurt anyone. While seeing her friends fighting and getting injured terribly, she was in shock and realized that the real fights were much scarier than she could ever imagine. The only thought that she had was to put herself and Amelia in safety by hiding behind the bed. When the enemy reinforcement came, she fell into despair, as her friends were probably too far away to save them. Tears collected in her eyes, her body trembled from fear, and she hugged Amelia tighter in her arm as the sound of the canons became louder and louder.

"Dad, please save us." Ina'nis stuttered.

"All right." the demon king responded in her head and magic circles began to form below her body. When the leviantis shot their white beams, a Minotaur came out from the front of her body and put his metal shield in front of them. He deflected the attack to the ground and moved towards the leviantis. He raised his ax and swung at his nearest opponent. A sword leviantis stepped in, deflected his attack and then stepped aside. The protected leviantis wound up his left strange-looking arm and attempted to punch him. He put his shield back up and blocked its punch. Then a pin got pushed into its elbow and its arm started to vibrate, which caused his shield to break and the leviantis punched through his stomach. He spit some blood from his mouth and tried to trap its arm in his torso with his stomach muscles, however because it was still vibrating, his opponent easily pulled its arm out. He roared to suppress his pain and began to attack the face of his opponent. He punched with his left fist, then swung his ax with his right hand. It only left two small dents behind. When he punched it with his left fist again, his left shoulder began to crack and his left arm began to crumble away. Realizing that his time in the human plane was about to end, he desperately tried to do some more damage with his ax. However, the speaker leviantis shot at him with its sound wave, which made him break in small pieces and getting swept away by the force.

"Dad, Bradenry just got defeated." Ina'nis stumbled.

"I notice." the demon king responded.

"What about the others?"

"Not available."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN NOT AVAILABLE!?" she screamed and looked behind her to see what the other members were doing. She witnessed Calliope, who was about to arrive at the bed, get shot by a red beam and fell to the ground, covered in flames and Kiara was still held down to the ground.

"LET ME GO YOU LITTLE SH*T!" The phoenix screamed at her opponent and tried to lift her body up which was then pushed down to the ground. The leviantis then pointed its cannon at her head and charged it up. "Fine, you earned your trip to the usual room." The space they were in began to wrap and got sucked up into one point as there was a black hole. After a brief moment, both of them vanished into thin air. For Ina'nis, it looked like their opponent was able to abduct or worse, reduce Kiara into nothingness. With a shocked face, she turned her head back to the group of leviantis in front of her. They pointed their cannons at her again.

"What about you, Dad?"

"It takes some time?"

"Why?"

"The magic circles are not enough for me to come out."

"WE ARE GOING TO DIE HERE!" The leviantis charged their cannon and fired their white beam at the small crying girl, covered in fear, holding her friend tighter to her chest and watching as her impending doom kept nearing her. From the sky a white plate armor from a leviantis, covered in water, fell to the ground between Ina'nis and the group and standing on top was a certain shark girl. Gura moved her right hand, holding her trident up and her left hand behind her back and directed the white beams in a circle around her and shot them into the sky where it turned into water which rained down on them. She breathed heavily and had problems keeping her composure. Her body was still shaking in fear as she was standing between these terrifying killer robots and her frightened friend. The sword leviantis raised its weapon and tried to strike her down. She screamed, closed her eyes and redirected the attack to her side with her trident. Then she heard another leviantis wounded up her strange arm and was about to punch her. Gura screamed again and stretched her arms out, as she was pushing the air. Then nothing happened. She opened her left eye slowly and saw the leviantis stopped moving. Realizing that she had the power to refrain their movement and because she was still terrified of them, she used as much energy as she can to keep them immobilized.

"A little bit of help here!" Gura shouted in tears at Calliope, who had finished regenerating most of her injuries and was about to stand up.

"Working on it." she answered and began walking to them. As the reaper was moving, they suddenly noticed that the gem leviantis in the distance was charging its red beam and was aiming at the apprentice. Gura moved her left hand towards the threat and pushed with her palm some air down, which caused the gem leviantis to lose its balance and to miss its shot at Calliope. The missed beam hit a wall and set it on fire. Gura raised her left hand up in the air where the rain started to be collected as a pool of water. When she moved her arm in the direction of the fire, the water started to move towards it, extinguishing the flames. Gura's body suddenly felt very heavy, and she fell on her knees and on her hands. She looked up and saw that the speaker of one of the leviantis was vibrating. The opponents weren't restrained anymore. She screamed in pain and in terror. Then they shot at her with the white beams.

"GURA!" Calliope shouted as she just arrived at the scene. She noticed that the gem leviantis was about to shoot another red beam at her. Out of nowhere, an orange portal appeared and Kiara passed through it, coincidentally standing between Calliope and the gem leviantis. In her right hand she was holding her sword and in the left the head of her opponent. The red beam hit her and set her body on fire. She screamed and then looked at the attacker with her furious eyes.

"THAT'S! IT!" Kiara shouted, dropped the head and jumped towards her new opponent. The fire around her body was forming into wings on her back, and her feet were shooting out fire, repelling her closer to her target. It shot another white beam at her, which she cut through with ease and split the leviantis into two. Meanwhile, Calliope called her scythe into her hand and charged at the speaker leviantis. The sword leviantis stepped between them and swung its sword at her. She dodged the attack by falling on her back and slid between its legs. After getting past it, she moved her legs in the air and lifted her body upwards by pushing the pole of her weapon into the ground. She was able to kick the speaker, which made it stop its shockwave attacks directed at the shark. The sword leviantis turned around and swung its swords at Calliope, while the one with the strange arm swung its punch. She tried to block the sword with her scythe, but it would not negate that much damage. But before any of the attacks could connect, they suddenly stopped moving. Gura, heavily breathing, put her left hand up and sealed their movement yet again. Calliope fell on the ground, rolled up and slammed her blade into the torso of the speaker leviantis. She kicked its body away from her weapon, turned around and cut the sword one diagonally in half. When she was about to finish the last enemy, it began to move again and avoided her last attack, by jumping towards Gura. Because of her fear of leviantis and the stress of the situation, she had used too much energy to immobilize her opponents. She lost her stamina and was on her four limbs as she was breathing very heavily. The last leviantis wounded up its strange arm and threw her punch at the shark girl. Kiara was flying to their aid but was still too far away and Calliope, locked in her swinging motion, could only watch. BANG. A gun shot was fired, and the bullet could not penetrate the armor of the leviantis, but it short-circuited its core. Even though the last leviantis fell to the ground, everyone's attention was directed at the person who shot it down. It was Amelia, holding a gun, as she still had trouble breathing.

"Ame?" Ina'nis said. Amelia was about to throw up, but could hold it in for a moment. She let go of her gun and dashed to the nearest garbage bin and vomited there. Calliope removed her blade from the ground and put her scythe on her shoulder.

"So." Calliope said with a heavy breath. "That was the last one, right?" Gura rolled on her back and breathed heavily. Kiara just arrived, landed on the bed and let her flame wings vanish.

"Hopefully." Kiara said. Amelia lift her head and said:

"Probably not."

"What do you mean 'Probably not'?" Gura asked. "I thought that you came from the future!"

"I was knocked out during this confrontation and did not experience it first hand. However, from what I had gathered from my investigation, our enemy possessed seventeen of these things, and he sent them out in waves. How many of them he put in the first wave is something that I could not find out." She vomited again.

"Wait, there are more of them!?" Ina'nis asked, her voice trembling in fear.

"No problem." Calliope said with confidence in their strength. "We already took nine…"

"Ten!" Gura corrected her.

"Ten of them out. What are 7 more?"

"Stronger version of them." Amelia answered, which made everyone's face go pale. "We don't have much time. Let's go to my car first!"
