AN: Here is chapter 9. So here is some Luke-Percy sibling relationship. I want to be clear that they see themselves as siblings and nothing else. No, Percy doesn't have the same idolization and crush on Luke as Annabeth does. There's also that part where Luke hides what happened to Thalia. I already have a plan on how Percy will learn about her death. (Hint: It is within the TLT plot) Also, I know it might be too early for this, but what do you guys think of making Percy aroace (not attracted to anyone). I think Rick made it so that the single characters were all just thrown into the hunters. The only main character that is single at the end is Jason. I want to see a single female that doesn't just get thrown into the hunters. Please review what you think and I hope you enjoy.

Jsmine Lucas: Okay, so I wasn't expecting this at all. I was about to post this new chapter when I saw a new review popped up. I am extremely happy you enjoyed the story. I wouldn't say this was the best or even a contender, but I thank you for the compliment. As for other stories, I am thinking of one about an OC but I'm also thinking maybe I can merge that idea with this and add an OC in this story. However, that will be in the SOM plotline. As for making art, I'm not sure. Maybe in the future but I'm just starting out you know so I want to see where this goes first before I invest money but I am flattered that an artist offer me this. This reply is a last minute change before posting the chapter so I haven't changed anything in the author notes. As you can see at the end, I was worrying that this story wasn't good so I asked for reviews. I hope you continue to enjoy the story.

I don't own Percy Jackson and the Olympians. All credit goes to Rick Riordan.

Chapter 9: Sibling Bonding

I was overjoyed. Here I was, after 7 years, looking at the closest person to an older brother I ever had. After we separated , I never thought I would see him again.

After our shock wore off, we rushed to hug each other. His large 20 year old frame towered over my small 10 year old body. He held me close and in his arms, I felt safer than I had been in years. I hugged back with equal force.

We stayed that way for a few seconds, when he pulled back and held me by the shoulders. "Percy. Percy, is that really you?" he asked.

"Yeah, it's me Luke." I responded gently. I think I saw wetness in his eyes and I'm not gonna lie, I was tempted to just break down.

"I-I thought you died, Perce. I thought I lost you." He held me tightly as if I might vanish again.

"I-I'm here Luke. I'm sorry for what I did." It felt really weird. While on the run, Luke was the one comforting me. Now that the roles are switched, I don't know what to say. Especially since I was the size of a 10 year old and am equally shocked as he was that I met him again.

He brought me into another tight hug. We stayed that way for a few seconds. The entire cabin was silent the whole time, all their attention was on me and Luke, but I didn't notice.

After a while, someone broke the silence. "What's happening?"

This seemed to snap Luke out of his daze. He released me and stood beside me, placing an arm on my shoulder.

"Cabin 11!" he shouted. His voice is now strong and composed. "This is Persephone Jackson. She is a half-blood I met while on the run. We got separated and I haven't seen her until now." He said, answering the question circulating in most of the campers' minds.

"Wait," Annabeth said. "I've never met her." A trace of jealousy seemed to cover her face.

"Oh, Annabeth, why don't we take this outside?" Luke seemingly just remembered she was there.

Annabeth looked reluctant but nodded in agreement.

"Cabin 11, go back to what you were doing. Remember, your classes and get back here before we line up for dinner." Luke announced. "I will assist in Percy's tour."

The cabin murmured their agreement, but they clearly wanted to find out what we will talk about.

We walked outside and once we got far enough away, Annabeth quickly turned around. "Okay, explain." She crossed her arms and was impatiently tapping her foot.

"Okay" Luke said gently. "Annabeth, this is Percy. Percy, Annabeth."

"I know that, but you said you met on the run. Why haven't I met her before?" Annabeth asked.

"Well, basically a few days after running from home, I bumped into Percy being chased by monsters. We ran for our lives and got away. We started travelling together ever since. Actually, a week before we met you, we got separated after a monster attack."

"Wait, hold up." I interrupted. "You also met Luke on the run?"

"Yeah." she responded, then chuckled. "I actually tried to bash him with a hammer when we met."

I laughed. Then a thought hit me. "Wait, Luke, if you're here, then Thalia's also here. Where is she?"

The mood instantly lowered. Annabeth opened her mouth. "Percy, do you mean Thalia, daughter of Zeus?"

"Yeah, so where is she?"

"Thalia, she-"

"We got separated." Luke interrupted. "We got separated before we reached camp."

"Oh." I was disappointed. I was looking forward to seeing my big sister again

After our talk, Luke and Annabeth showed me around the rest of camp.

Luke left, going to the bathroom, saying to continue without him. We were walking around when a voice called out.

"Hey! Is that the new kid?"

I turned to Annabeth to see she was scowling, maybe from annoyance. I then turned to the voice to see a bulky girl with stringy brown hair tied up in a bandanna. She was flanked by equally mean looking boys.

"Clarisse La Rue," Annabeth whispered to me. "Be prepared, she's not exactly nice."

"Awww. And she's a baby." Clarisse cooed with fake affection.

"Clarisse," Annabeth said. "Don't you need to sharpen your spear or something?"

"Sure, so I could run you through with it on Capture the Flag." she sneered.

"Erre es korakas!" Annabeth yelled. I understood it meant 'Go to the crows' even though I never studied Ancient Greek, I guess it was in the genes already. "You don't stand a chance."

"We'll pulverize you." Clarisse retorted. She then looked at me as if she forgot I was here. "So, who's the 10 year old?"

Before Annabeth could reply, I cut her off. "Percy Jackson."

She stuck out her hand. "Clarisse, daughter of Ares." I tentatively shook it, I've met enough bullies to know when to spot one.

"The war god?" I asked.

"You got a problem with it?"

"No." I said. "Explains the smell." That was not the right thing to say.

"Alright Prissy, we have a little initiation in this camp." she sneered.

"Clarisse." Annabeth drawled. "Chiron said to-"

"Stay out of this wise girl." Clarisse interrupted. Her lackeys surged forward and grabbed both of my arms. I tried to escape, but their grips were iron tight.

"Come on, this ought to teach you respect." she said.

The boys pulled me forward as I continued to struggle. Annabeth stood back, looking resigned, as if this wasn't the first time Clarisse did this.

The trio hauled me towards a bathroom and made me enter. It was poorly kept and mold covered almost every surface. They forced me into a stall and were about to perform a swirly.

When suddenly-

AN: So, I tried to make the part with Luke kind of emotional. I don't know how well I did. I might add a dream later or a memory of Percy's time with Luke and Thalia. I would like to remind you to review what you think of making Percy aroace. I know there hasn't been a lot of reviews in this fic, but please review. I want your feedback. Maybe give suggestions, criticisms, theories, questions, or just saying good things.
