Part 16 - Others' Reactions on the News

Next day, everyone who was out and about at this time of the day saw news' crews lining up at the same area that the FBI a month earlier had told them that their newly selected Chief of Police had been murdered and the maybe why it had happened at the time they announced, and so with those thoughts, they all went over to listen it right there, while others were at their homes were going to see it live on their tv's across town and the whole US.

Bella and Dan were back home, taking up the tv with the others' that didn't go to the live with their bosses, and the elder Uley's, Josh and Ali were also there after Bella texted them last night that today would the killer be revealed as he was behind FBI prison bars until his day in court in few weeks was to happen.

And they jumped to it, and came the very next morning, early with coffee and breakfast to serve them all with, and with that they all sat down, and the two mentioned had texted the others' in La Push about the live, and when it was to send LIVE on tv's. Despite her true feelings about the Cullens and those Denali's, she texted Carlisle of the live was to be sent at what time in the morning and to turn it to see it then.

With that, they all sat around the tv's, and awaited the live to be turned on the FBI's that was in town, to tell them about it. Bella was nervous, but also abit scared for she knew as soon those Black's got to know about who it was, they would try their best to harrass her and to try to make her say it was all lies and not true and so on. But they would hear on the LIVE, it was all true and that said man had confessed to both murder of Charlie and to threatening Bella with her life and that he wanted to rape her if she told anyone.

That was something she had kept from everyone to know anything about, but the FBI's and Dan of course knew, and it was that threat that made him not only fear for her safety but anger that someone like this bastard had threatened his wife to be with. The FBI agents were shocked and angry of hearing this few hours later of her tale of what had happened the day her father was killed and what else the said man had said or threatened with.

Renee and Phil were back in Florida, Phil had gotten a text from Bella, telling him to turn on the tv for the live would happen which time at their time, so they both sat by the tv, while Phil was intrigued to find out, Renee was still stung on what had happened and been said at Charlie's funeral, now wanted to see what else was being said about it all.

Now onto the LIVE...

"Alright can everyone here aswell at home hear us well enough?" Remy who was standing the podium to talk first, and after getting confirmation that he was heard well enough from different places across US, he then proceeded to say;

"Yesterday evening, a fellow agent of ours, Agent David Mikaelson, and his team were able to finally find Chief Charles "Charlie" Swan's killer. He was apphrended after some strugggles to get him in handcuffs, brought to their headquarters before being transferred this morning to our facility in Seattle to await trial of the murder and threatening Charles' only daugther with some serious and dangerous threats to her life and body. What those were, will be brought up at the murderer's trial in few weeks. And now, I will let said man who arrested this man to speak of who the murderer is. So Agent Mikaelson, please"

At that a man of Native origin came forward most shocked of that when he then said

"First thank you, Agent Scott, and also thanks to my team of agents to apphrended this dangerous killer finally. It was his car that helped us to find him, due to a anonymous witness calling in about the car and its licence plate, was a match to the send out about that information to us all around states. Now to who killed the former Chief, was a man in his late 20's, and his name is Nathanial Black, from La Push, a fellow officer under Charlie's regime. He confessed to the murder and threats he had said to Ms Swan as he left town to hide away. He will be charged with First Degree Murder, Threats and many more will be added on as time goes on. So everyone out there, thank you for your help and cooperation to apphrended another dangerous and violent killer. So with that, I leave the word to Agent Jubal Valentine of New York division."

Jubal stepped up, as mouths across the town center and back homes' of peoples were wide-open of shock and disbelief of what had been said so far, and who the murderer was aswell. Jacob and William both shared a look of disbelief, while Nathan's mother, sister of William were in deep shock and tears down her cheeks.

"Yes, so now that this case is being cleared up by the court system taking it on themselves, we as team has now also gone through the town's officers, and we have fired and jailed alot of them for corruption and other sentences that will leave them behind bars for years now. Therefore a new, better team will be here in few hours to take over the station and a new Chief that will also take on some of the old crimes that has not been cleared up, to be cleared up, and with them we will all as FBI stand by and help out when necessary to all of them or the new Chief himself. And who that is, his name is Daniel Hawkseye, Ms Swan's fiancée, and the two are going to stay for the year out, then a new one will take over from him by January 31st next year, and that will be Joshua Uley, as he was trained as a police officer under the same chief that let Charles take over his role from. Josh left to take of himself and his family at the time, but always wanted to come back to the job when he could. And without anyone knowledge, Charles trained him and Daniel to take over whenever they could, so they are both perfect for a leader's job as a Chief of Police is. And the security both inside of the station aswell out on calls' will be alot stronger and better for all the officers and the chief himself. So with that said, this case is finally over with and I hope to God that you take this as it comes from now on."

And with that he stepped down, and everyone in town aswell back homes' were in shock, while Bella grinned happily and kissed her Dan then hugged Josh who were both pleased to have their names out there on who is taking over as the new chief of Police in town both for now and then later for good. Ali was absolutely happy for her husband's achievements in this, and that his dream was coming true aswell.

Sam and the rest of them were watching at Sam and Emily's and when they heard who was taking over, it was just plain shock on their faces. Jacob and William aswell Rachel was still in deep shock of what they had heard so far and when they heard who was their temporary new chief and who would take over when Dan and Bella left, it was shock and anger for the two.

Old Quil was pleased with it all, so was Joy, the mother of Nathan who had come over for she overheard the words of disbelief of her brother and nephew on this, and was scared of what they may get into after all was said and done about this. She denounced her son as her son, as in disowning him to everything of his heritage and inheritage to both his father's stuff and her own stuff. Old Quil took and accepted her claim on it, and now her other son and 2 daugthers were able to get the inhertiage from both of their parents.

Renee was in shock of it all and Phil was just pleased and happy for the two, as he knew after they had left Forks, they would only be back there to visit Charlie's grave and others that was family or friends of theirs for life out.
