Part 15 - Catching the Killer And More Revealations
Few weeks went by, and it all was quiet around town, as the FBI helped the cops that was screened and cleared of any corruption in town, and also police from other cities and town were also in town, to help out with the dwindling numbers of cops that was corrupted and jailed for their own parts of it all.
Bella and Dan were trying at this time also to get Charlie's place sold, so they could use the money of the sale, for both a house back in South Dakota and their wedding by next fall, as they felt that was right time to have it, but also their favorite season.
The teams of FBI were working non-stops to get the killer, whose name was kept from the public still, Nathan Black, and the sighting of his car that he most likely was using to get away and be on the move with. It was a blue Mercedes car, and that was publically known, aswell the licence plate, so anyone would find him or his car in no time for sure.
One evening, Bella and Dan were having their date in town or rather at the diner after a stroll on the beach down in La Push, when Remy showed up, and he said
"First I need to apologise for disrupting what I know is your date night today, but we have gotten some news from Oregon FBI agents."
At that the two stood up, paid for their already eaten meals, and paid for their desserts to be brought with them, and they followed Remy back to the house, and there the others' including whom Dan recognised to be an agent from Oregon FBI agency, and he gave his greetings to this man, who greeted him back, then he also greeted Bella with a soft smile and shake of her hand that she reached out to him.
He then proceeded to say;
"I am sorry to taken you away from what I heard was your date tonight, but I have some good news to tell you both."
Bella nodded then said
"What is the news, Agent?" At that the man smiled wider, before he said
"With my team, I today apphrended Nathan Black at a Motel in the town of Pendleton, few miles from Walla Walla here in Washington state lays. He is in now our custody, and being shipped to Seattle Jail, as he will sit there until trial begins in few weeks time, as we need to have it done quick as possible, so you don't have to suffer anymore than you have, Ms Swan. He did confess to the murder and threat of you and your father, so he will be guilty of such crimes at least. Right now we are doing some more work on if he also is guilty of corruption and other things. But that will be on a backburner for now."
Bella was revealed, and Dan had catch her as she felt abit faint of being revealed, and he just held her up in his arms, as he said in her stead
"Thank you, Agent Michaelson. It relieves Bella from alot of the pain of losing her father at least, and she will get her answers to why he exactly did it and who may had it to happen. As Bella had gone through her father's things in his office here at home, where he kept alot of things from the station and the officers that worked under him. You can have them aswell."
At that the Agent like the others were shocked but pleased, and Bella got up from her seat and went into the said office, and few minutes later, she opened the door, and let them all inside, and told them to go at it, but please clean up after themselves when done. Which they promised, for alot more apparently would be revealed for sure after this. But the killer, Nathan Black, cousin and nephew of William, Jacob, Rachel and Rebecca was in custody and not able to run away either for the facility in Seattle was that secure and safe from even able to do so.
