Chapter 1: Metropolis 2013
A mild Hans Zimmer soundtrack plays in the background as a bat symbol with Superman's logo zooms forward to the screen.
(Later at Metropolis…)
However Bruce just happened to be in Metropolis during the invasion of General Zod…
He knew his old friend: Jack O'Dwyer was there in a meeting with Lucius Fox's CEO's of Wayne Financial as he raised through the city's destruction trying to get a hold of him.
"Come on Jack." Bruce said.
Jack stood up as he saw first hand what was happening outside during the meeting. He then received an unknown call from his cell but with this situation he answered.
"This is Jack O'Dwyer." Jack said.
"Jack! Lucius sent me! You need to get out there now!" Bruce called.
"Bruce? You're alive…but you were dead one year later?" Jack asked.
"Never mind. You need to get out of the building now!" Bruce said.
Soon Jack heard an impact and saw Superman pushing Zod into the building through the window below him…
Jack knew what was coming as he sadden with his phone on his ear.
"I'm sorry Bruce. It's too late." Jack said.
"NO JACK!" Bruce called.
"Tell my assistant Tiffany Fox I miss her. And I'm sorry I wasn't around much. We really made a difference…didn't we Bruce? Heavenly God. Creator of Heaven and Earth. Have mercy on my soul." Jack said sadly.
A crash was heard and Bruce made it inside just to see the building being cut in half by heat rays undoubtedly from Zod…
"JACK!" Bruce yelled.
Like in the movie Bruce towards the falling with people running passed him in the opposite direction.
After the building fell Bruce still found the man who lost his legs but to Bruce's shock…
He happens to spot Tiffany Fox Lucius's 15 year old daughter in the dust crying out looking for her employer as she calls out to him.
"Tiffany?" Bruce asked.
Tiffany looks back and gasps seeing Bruce Wayne alive after a year believing he was dead.
"Bruce Wayne…? But…how… My dad sent you. You sent Jack." Tiffany said.
"I'll explain later but where's Jack?" Bruce asked.
Tiffany just cried again, nodding and shrugging.
"I don't know…I don't know…" Tiffany said.
Bruce comforted her in a hug as she cried just when he saw the falling fire in the sky along with Superman and Zod.
Bruce holding Tiffany glared at the Man of Steel above him with a serious look promising himself Superman will answer for Jack's death…
(Later at Wayne Enterprises…)
At Gotham City to Wayne Enterprises, Lucius Fox watching TV at Wayne Financial, was destroyed.
"Jack." Lucius said as he sadden facing down he knew now lost Jack…
