This was until a small number of humans developed the ability to use the malice that was in their heart in a more refined form. CURSED ENERGY. When human SORCERERs joined the war, humans not long after began to push the monsters back.
After a long battle, the humans were victorious, and the most powerful sorcerers of the time created a powerful barrier to seal the monsters in the underground.
Even in the present day, legends say that those who climb the mountain never return.
