PROLOGUE.

Kokabiel walked through with his ten pairs of wings, spread black as night wide, madness in his eye as he was awaiting the return of his servants when he was trying to understand what they had found, a cube with hollow circles around the glowing perfectly round ball, on atomic level shining through with blinding golden light as it spins on the table when he was looking at it.

What are you? What are you really...?

This question was really puzzling Kokabiel as he was trying to put this puzzle together as he approached it closer and what he felt was radiating pulsing energy of holy eldritchness is the best way he could describe this. The sense of wrongness, the unease, the goosebumps on his hair rising straight, standing tall on his hand, were enough to be a bad omen of what he exactly is holding in his possession.

The way he felt about this - is so... Weird. There is no word in sight he could use, no language can really describe what he feels. And it keeps him awake at night.

What is your purpose, you damned thing?

The pulsing of the energy was rhythmic. Slow sequential rotational sound of simple frequency but.. It was not a sound - not any traditional sound at least. Normal soundwaves produce a sound, something audible. This? This is felt. The feeling of this is what makes Kokabiel not sleep well at night, as he is trying to figure it out.

The cube is eldritchly perfect. A perfect set of squares with perfectly round circle on quantum and subatomic levels if someone was showing the cube under microscope with transparent circles showing beautiful perfect white sphere, on subatomic level it's a perfect sphere, something not even previous perfect sphere of human craftsmen wouldn't be possible. Its shining silver-golden light. The cube rotates in clockwise when the sphere does so counter-clockwise, shining through light. The cube as if made out of titanium, with amber corners and runes made from gold engravings, spinning around, floating, pulsing its energy rhythmically, in perfect eldritch precision, unlike anything Kokabiel saw before.

WHAT ARE YOU, YOU DAMN, CURSED THING!? ANSWER ME!

Kokabiel in his mind was going crazy as he decided to finally grab he said item in question and for a second when he hold it, the pulsing stopped, only to be turned into inconceivable screams of pain and horror, as the screams again were FELT not audible, yet they went through kokabiel like photons do through our world, and it sent shivers of fear down his spine as he let go of this cube.

"Whatever this is... I want to know... So bad..."

He said out loud as his madness was slowly visible as he looked at this divine item. Its origin is unknown but he experiences he holds, is defineitly unusual. He bit his lip as he decided to make something he will likely regret.

"All right.. Time to fuck around... and find out."

Kokabiel said as he decided to grab the cube one last time and start piercing through it with holy energy as holy energy of the cursed item, with a touch of something else was piercing through.

The screams grew wider and they weren't just magical screams anymore, they were audible screams of terror, horror and inconceivable pain and suffering as Kokabiel was pushed back from what he was trying to do by this item.

"GIVE ME ANSWERS, YOU DAMN THING! I WANT TO KNOW!"

Kokabiel demanded and in all his insanity yelled at the item, unaware of its origin only for the battle turning into battle of souls and finally with some semblance of luck and perseverance, Kokabiel, managed to shut down the screams in his head and the ones that were audible only to be suddenly pulled into a vision.

It is a blurry one, as he witnesses events that he never thought he will relieve again. He saw Yahweh, his father, as he was fighting two dragons, He was having plenty of trouble as he was wielding his halberd, trying to kill Ddraig and Albion, in this form.

He managed to wound Ddraig hard enough, slicing through his body like knife through butter, and seal Ddraig in a boosted gear, creating a sacred gear Red Dragon Emperor.

Second fight happen quickly after as Albion was raging at Yahweh, he barely managed to succeed, but at a cost, is the moment when giant magical scream pierced through the heavens and all battlefields with demons as angels went mad. Not because Albion was sealed in divine dividing, but to save himself...

Yahweh split his soul into fragments as thousands of such cubes suddenly flew across the world, as he was turning himself into a sacred gear.

Kokabiel then saw the gems like this spread across the world with three cubes in the gear that maintained the essence of the soul of his creator father, as he was pushed on the wall, when Kalawarna went down by the stairs into this underground room, and saw Kokabiel pushed back by giant magical ichor of gold and silver lining.

- "KOKABIEL!" - Kalawarna yelled as she saw him hurt and proceeded to use magic - "You all right?"

- "Yea.. What we got here... Is something beyond extraordinary... A piece of god.. Our father, YAHWEH." - Kokabiel said with a smile as he licked his lips, in his insanity he saw it as a tool to reignite the great war.

- "So... What do you think? Would be useful to our plans?" - Kalawarna asked as she helped him get up. And sit on the chair.

- "Very... Very..." - Kokabiel said as he leaned on the chair, looking into the cube - "We've got ourselves a shard of our father's soul... There is thousands of these but three are in the sacred gear..." - Kokabiel stated as he remembered details of the vision.

-"You mean? This is.. Father's?" Kalawarna asked in awe and disbelief as she looked at the floating cube emenating eldritch energy as she approached, and touched the pulsating cube, as it calmed, and rubbed its outer shell - "So he is alive... sort of?" Kalawarna said as she let go a tear - "Look how they massacred our father!"

- "I KNOW WHAT I SEE! FUCKING DRAGONS, DAMN THEM ALL!" - Kokabiel yelled out - "IF NOT FOR ALBION AND DRAIG, OUR FATHER WOULD BE ALIVE, AND WHOLE! NOT ALIVE AND DAMNED, TURNING HIMSELF INTO A SACRED GEAR." - as Kokabiel yelled out, he smashed his hand into the cave's wall as he too let a tear as he finally realized what fate his father goes through. - "This is fate worse than death."

As Kalawarna was standing there, looking into the eldritchly perfect cube, Kokabiel smiled. For the first time in years, he had a reason to smile as he looked at it, smiled as he started to laugh, softly at first, then busted into laughter.

"Oh this is going to be delicious~!" - Kokabiel yelled out as he got up and approached the pulsing shard of Yahweh's soul. - "MARTYR FOR OUR CASE, RIGHT HERE!" - Kokabiel yelled out enthusiastically pointing to Kalawarna on the cube.

"Huh? and how exactly it's supposed to work in your eyes?" - Kalawarna raised an eyebrow.

"Simple, my dear... Who is to say that Michael didn't succeed where Lucifer failed!? This is a lie, you should know, but..." - Kokabiel said as he weaved his narrative - "Okay. Michael was planning this from the start. " Kokabiel said as he pointed at the cube - "He forced father into situation where he is unmatched, to fight two dragons, after fight with trihexa. Vacuum was then created, and Ddraig and Albion unknowingly or knowingly - did the hit job for Michael. When he split his soul, people thought he was dead for sure, so Michael took over. I am pretty sure original Lucifer laughs right now seeing this."

Kalawarna stood here as she corrected her tube top, and cupped her chin, looking into his eyes as she was considering the narrative.

"Not gonna lie, I believed that for a second." - Kalawarna said cautiously. Internally she was split when Kokabiel was pointing at the shard excited, as if he was given the most sought-after Christmas gift as a kid.

That's a goddamn good lie - she thought. - Not going to be denying this. Kokabiel sometimes surprises me with his own thought process but this strangely makes alot of sense.. And the solution that makes the least assumptions is usually correct... What if he is correct? what if he is actually right? and its not a lie? No no no, Michael is not Lucifer... Even if they are twins... no. He wouldn't.. Would he?

Kalawarna thought in her mind as she was sinking herself into depths of her mind as she was considering the implications. The way she went all in considering his entire idea seriously, meant she is likely now - fully in thinking mode, concentrating on this one issue, and that scared Kokabiel.

"Do not tell me you are falling for this lie, hello?" - Kokabiel asked as he snapped his finger - "Earth to Kalawarna..."

"Ah yes yes.. Well... That's... plausible narrative... I... Almost thought you were telling the truth." - Kalawarna admitted reluctantly.

"This good?" - Kokabiel asked, with predatory grin as he clapped his hands and rubbed them - "oh perfect... this is going to be so nice... Nobody would follow someone only willing to start a war because peace is boring but... fighting to avenge a martyr... now that's going to rock the world!" - Kokabiel laughed as he looked at the shard, one of many pieces of his father on the table, exactly 1 meter square, floating on the table. - "Its like Christmas came early.. very early.."

Kalawarna cupped her chin as she looked at him, and shrugged her shoulders, as the energy was pulsing with intensified light from the sphere, which got her a bit uneasy as Kalawarna correct her tube skirt, and tube top, putting her tits back in place.

- "Want me to go a look for more shards?" - Kalawarna asked as Kokabiel turned around.

- "Yes, do.. If you will somehow find a gear wielder with similar energy... Tell me. " - Kokabiel said with excitement.

- "And then what?" - Kalawarna asked as she raised her eyebrow - "You will kill him, like Reynare tried Issei?

- "No no no, are you stupid!? Of course not! You will do it." - Kokabiel said with a casual tone.

- "Wait what!?" - Kalawarna said as she got a bit worried. To kill a wielder of her father's consiousness... She shakes her head - "you must be joking, right?"

- "I was... Just let me know if you get a trace, I will ask more servants to investigate him." - Kokabiel said as he waved his hand - "Go, keep looking out for more in the area you are overseeing."

- "Will do, boss." - Kalawarna said as she let out a nervous sigh, as she walked upwards the spiral stairs in the mountain.

Kalawarna's slow walk up, on the stairs was a moment of reflection. Why did she felt uneasy about this sphere contained in a cube? Why it was so difficult to withstand being there? It is holy, after all, so why she is there, reacting as if she was a mere demon when she is an angel for god's sake? Fallen sure, but why she reacts to it as if she was a demon slowly touched by holy light? This doesn't make any sense to her, and there is no words she can explain her experience, best she can do is to give approximations, and that is infuriating.

Knowing she was tasked with seeking a gear wielder - with similar signature, she let out an annoyed sigh as she looked into the blue sky of the human realm as she folded her hands under her breasts and let out a breath in and out.

- "Fucking hell... You really want me to keep going? Azazel?" - Kalawarna said to herself, barely below a whisper, as her thoughts went low - "First Reynare now Kokabiel? Ugh... I need vacations." - Kalawarna said, turning her head around.

Kalawarna spread her wings out and flew in the sky, hovering above it and turned around to face Kuoh City, and traveled to the place, dressed provocatively.

- "I might need to change this uniform." - Kalawarna said as she let out a sigh of annoyance.
