Hello Everyone,

A bit of introductions first. My author's name is Sparrownightmare and I have been a part of this site for quite a few years. I have found some absolutely wonderful stories on here and I want to thank all those who have contributed their work here.

My story is a bit of a repost from several years prior. I only put up a couple of chapters, but I did not like it, so I removed it. I have spent the last couple of years re-writing it from scratch, changed a few original characters and quite a bit of the plot line. It has taken me some time to get it typed up (I started by writing it out on notebook paper), as I was trying some different ideas, and I did not have a laptop at the time.

This story is heavily done in an alternate universe but follows some of canon up til the end of Harry's 4th year. After reading so many wonderful works, I thought I would try my hand at it again.

In this story, the magical, non-magical and mutant worlds collide quite spectacularly. I have taken some inspiration from several authors (Bobmin356 – Mutant Storm, Nimbus Llewellyn – Child of the Storm saga and several others). My original characters are based on gaming characters created from the Champions Role Playing system, which is a superhero/mutant/alien gaming world. There WILL be off-world parts to some of the chapters, which are part of the overall story.

My story starts the summer after Harry's 4th year, but after this is where it 'diverges'. The first several chapters are basically 'set up chapters' and are not genuinely nice to many of the canon characters (Ron, Ginny, Hermione, Hogwarts staff – especially Dumbledore and McGonagall), but there IS a reason for this, which will take a few chapters to uncover completely. There is hope for redemption for them (Ron, Ginny, Hermione, McGonagall), but it will not be easy for them, and it will not be immediate. So, please bear that in mind as you read each chapter.

I fully acknowledge that I do not own Harry Potter, Marvel, Dr. Who, or any other genre which may make an appearance. I am just borrowing select people, as situations present themselves. I will try not to do that in every chapter, but a couple of them have been most fun to utilize and it works so well (for me, particularly Loki, and Dr. Strange.)

In addition, the first few chapters (which were started over 3-4 years ago), I have a few interactions with Queen Elizabeth, the 2nd. I truly respect her, her many accomplishments and the enduring legacy that she left behind. Since her passing, I changed references from her to the Crown but am considering changing it back as this is an alternate universe and in this one, her Majesty is quite alive. But I am willing to hear opinions on that aspect.

This is a long, drawn-out story that spans the summer after fourth year and thru the end of the summer of fifth year. I have two major fights planned and am still working out the details of how to make it work and not come across as silly and poorly written.

I hope you stick with me thru it all. I will happily accept constructive criticism but will outright delete completely negative commentary.
