Back At Fairy Tail
A week passed, and everyone completed the missions on the job board in record time and with minimal damage. Everyone has taken part of their reward they can do without and put it in a rent jar for Lucy. Now they should be able to finish the video without that worry in the back of their minds.
"All right everyone, are we ready?" Once everyone gives Mira an affirmative she hits play.

"She called me. When she gets here we're going to have a meeting, the three of us. Now I understand you killing those two men that she brought to our door. However, you can't keep killing our men just because they yell at or say something disrespectful to or about her."
"Boss-"
He puts a hand up, "I don't like that they do it, but we can't kill them. They're to be punished in the ring, and NOT killed. Now I know how to weed out the men we don't want in our ranks."
"It's good to see the old man disapproves of Chisaki killing those men," Evergreen says.
"I wonder why their only punishment is to be sent to the ring to get beaten up." Levy ponders.
"Oh wow, Lucy put a lot of dedication into training and learning new fighting styles," Gray says impressed.
Should Chisaki find out the truth about Lucy, he's unsure how his protégé would react. The man isn't fond of people having quirks. What would he think about Lucy having multiple abilities because of the magic she had while living in a different universe? He didn't exactly think that part through encouraging them to spend time together. They would be good together and Chisaki needs a woman like her in his life. Lucy let it be known she didn't like withholding the truth. So, he told her that should Chisaki find out then he would explain to Chisaki that he had forbidden her from telling anyone, not as her "Jiji" but as the boss of his Yakuza. Chisaki is about respecting what he says and not going against what the boss says.
"That old man knows a lot about her huh," Laxus states.
"He's a good guy then right?" Wendy questions.
"He must have a good reason for keeping her secret. How many times was she targeted here on Earthland because of her magic? She could be in even more danger should the wrong person find out the truth about her." Erza says.
Levy pipes in, "It sucks though she has to hide who she is. She could be of so much help there."
"I wonder why Chisaki isn't fond of people who have quirks." It makes everyone very curious and what it would mean for Lucy should he find out.
As they watch, they learn that Lucy doesn't know that there is no time difference between Earth and Earthland. A lady named Fukuzawa helped her cope with the fact that a woman had gotten hurt since she decided to take a step back from being Celeste. She became friends with Miwa Sakurai, the woman she saved at the beginning of the video.
They watch her use something similar to the lacrima phones they use to keep in touch with Chisaki avoiding the topic of what had happened. They wait in anticipation of the meeting between the two seeing each other again.
Chisaki is already outside and waiting for Lucy to arrive. Once she does the gate is opened and he meets her halfway.
"Lucy-"
"Chisaki, I'm sorry."
"Why are you sorry?"
"Well, I ignored your calls for no reason and kept putting off meeting somewhere. I just-"
"Come on." He nods his head towards the building.
Lucy walks by his side to the building. The back of his gloved hand brushes up against the back of her bare one. When she looks up at him, he's looking down at her and brushes his hand against hers again. She gives him a light smile.
His heart skips a beat from her smile. He was testing him himself, brushing his hand against hers, to find out what kind of reaction he would have. "I'm not mad at you."
"You're not?"
"No, I get it." He opens the door for her and steps in the entrance after her. "You spend your time taking down monsters and now discovering a few were members of the Yakuza. The Yakuza your Jiji runs. The Yakuza that you have now been associating yourself with." Once their shoes are off they head down the hall to Boss's office. "We plan on taking action and getting rid of any members that are also committing those fucking crimes."
"Well, that wasn't as dramatic as I thought it was going to be."
"Is it a good idea for her to let her guard down and stop listening in on souls?"
"Constantly listening to everyone's souls eventually leads to a migraine and there's just some things you don't want to hear."
"I'm curious as to what this meeting is about."
Before the meeting can happen they're introduced to someone new.
A huge, muscular man with long, light brown hair, and dark eyes comes up to them. He's wearing a mask like Kurono's and he dons a tattered t-shirt and dark pants covered by a light blue tunic and decorated with two belts. Gloves cover his hands and wrists that have several leather straps and his knuckles with metal.
"Hiya! You must be Overhole's girlfriend Lucy. I'm Kendo Rappa."
Present Mic's Voice: Kendo Rappa quirk: strong arm, it allows him to rotate his shoulders at extreme speeds, allowing him to attack his targets with a near-endless barrage of bullet punches. His quirk can only stay active for a few seconds at a time, but this is all the time Kendo needs to wear down his opponents.
"Why did someone's voice introduce the guy? We know his name."
"Dumbass, the guy also told us what his quirk is."
Lucy sticks her hand out wondering why he thinks she's Chisaki's girlfriend, "It's nice to meet you, Rappa. I've heard a lot about you." When he grasps her hand and squeezes it tightly, she squeezes even harder using Taurus's strength. She looks over at Chisaki, "Overhole?"
Rappa doesn't allow Chisaki to get a word in, "Yeah, he goes by, Overhaul, around here. Only the special ones can call him by his surname. The really special ones get to call him by his first name. So, what is it?" Rappa lets go of her hand, "You got quite the grip little lady, do you like to fight?"
"Uh… Umm.. I don't know what his first name is, sorry." Which is a lie, but neither of them needs to know that. She wasn't expecting this big guy to be so talkative and energetic. "I don't mind a good fight every once in a while."
"Let's fight then! I want to find out how tough you are." Rappa puts his fists up and bounces on the balls of his feet.
"Rappa-" Chisaki tries to get the man to stop talking before he says something he shouldn't.
"I heard about what happened a few weeks ago. You shattered the man's jaw and killed the man when you busted his nose. No wonder Overhole likes you."
"I… What?" Lucy kind of figured as much but to hear it confirmed…
What Chisaki wouldn't give to be able to disassemble the man right now. "You need to stop calling me Overhole and-"
While punching the air Rappa says, "Yeah, I may be a brawler but I'm also very observant. Got to be in a fight."
"How about next time? I'm not exactly wearing the appropriate attire." She points out the clothing she's in.
Rappa sighs dejectedly, "Fine." His dejected manner lasts only a second before he starts rambling some more. "I'm holding you to that. I love to fight, and it's been a while since I've had a worthy opponent. Don't worry, I won't kill you like the others, the last guy deserved it though."
"Rappa," Chisaki growls out threateningly, struggling to not use his quirk on his subordinate. At the same time, Lucy asks, "Why did the last guy deserve it?"
"I heard how you were disrespected and disrespecting you also disrespects Overhaul."
"Rappa!" Chisaki scolds him.
"Shit, sorry."
"He's part of a group called the 8 Bullets. It's a group 'Overhole'," Cobra can't help but chuckle, "is putting together. I can't get a read on why. That Rappa guy really does like to brawl. He participated in a quirk-permitted underground fight club and decimated all of his opponents. Chisaki is the only one who has defeated him."
"Hey! Are you there?" Rappa waves a hand in front of her face.
"Huh? Oh, sorry." She looks at Chisaki who is looking like he's expecting her to be running out of there screaming.
The only reason Chisaki didn't pull her away sooner is because if she's going to be spending time with him, she should get to know his men.
Rappa leans towards her and whispers, "Listen, he didn't order me to kill the punk. I did that on my own accord. I'm very loyal to Overhaul and you're his girlfriend. Like I said, anyone who disrespects you is disrespecting him."
"Uh, okay." Lucy doesn't know what to say to that and she doesn't know why he keeps referring to her as Chisaki's girlfriend. "Well, Chisaki and I have somewhere to be. I'll see you around Rappa."
"You too little lady. Can't wait for that fight."
"Well, he seems interesting."
When it gets to the meeting with the old man they all gasp when it's revealed that Lucy was the one that helped take down the trafficking ring almost two years ago. Mira makes a note to herself to talk with the other girls about Kurono having the same theory as them when it comes to why Chisaki's body has a positive reaction to Lucy's.
They meet another member of the 8 Bullets.
Present Mic's Voice: Rikiya Katsukame quirk: energy suck, it allows him to siphon away other people's stamina by inhaling their strength away from them. He can use the stolen stamina to increase his stealth and size greatly. To use his quirk, Rikiya needs to be touching the target.
He is a large, tall, and very muscular man. He wears a mask too but his is different. He wanted to pick out his own and it's more like a plague mask black in color, covering his whole head. It has red lines, white eyes, and a golden detail around the neck.
"For someone who doesn't care for quirks, it's interesting that the people he's recruiting have them."

Turned out there were three pieces of shit in the Yakuza that were sneaking out to hurt women and children. Jiji told her he was going to dispose of them himself, but she had demanded he let her take care of the fucking scumbag that dared to hurt his own daughter. His own fucking twelve-year-old daughter. What she wouldn't have given to use Cobra's poison on the man, nothing that would kill him, just leave him writhing in pain for a bit before she summoned Gemini to transform into Wendy so he could be healed, only to be tortured some more. Virgo would have helped punish the man. She told Lucy that she would have no problem stripping the man down naked and tying him up so Lucy did as she pleased, like freeze his dick with Gray's ice-make and then shatter it. Lucy was almost surprised by her suggestion but then memories of Sadist Virgo flickered through her mind.
So, she settled on beating the fuck out of the man in the ring in the basement and left adding him to her kill list. She couldn't bring herself to feel horrible about it, but it left her worried about her own mental stability. It's a good thing she's decided to take a step back as Celeste. It hurts to not save those who need it, but she can't lose herself along the way. What she wouldn't give to talk with Cobra and ask for advice. There have been times he's had to ignore calls for help and it almost broke him but thankfully he had Kinana at his side. Lucy only knows because she accidentally saw it in his soul while practicing using his ability.
Her last act as Celeste is helping take down the sex trafficking ring, which is in a month's time unless something just as bad crops up. Jiji reluctantly agreed to allow her to be an active participant this time around. She can see the worry in his eyes and is sure he knows what's going on with her, he's been there for her since the beginning when she came to this world. There are moments when he reminds her of Master Makarov and it's so uncanny. He's not the first person she met their voice is the same as one of her friends and it's so weird.
What would her friends think about stopping listening to the souls around her unless the situation calls for it? Would they approve of her attempting to live a somewhat normal life and continue to pretend she doesn't have multiple abilities in her arsenal?
It's really hard hiding what she's fully capable of, if she could, she would be able to reveal what she heard to not only Jiji but everyone else. She could do more than hide in the shadows while she spied on those that are part of the sex trafficking ring gathering information to report back. She could have killed them all then and there. That right there is why she definitely needs to take a step back.
When it first began, all Fairy Tail could think was that it was a beautiful scene of Lucy sitting on a bench in a beautiful park, and then the thoughts and images left them flabbergasted.
"..."
*Crickets chirping*
"That was not..."
"She's not..."
"How could that asshole..."
"A kill list?"
Why won't the man reveal everything that goes through Lucy's mind? This can't be the only time she's had dark thoughts. Is it even the same man that was with Ivan? How did he manage to pull it off? Does he have a way to extract her thoughts without her knowing? But how does he record it? How does he get so close?
They've all experienced weird things that couldn't be explained nor should have been possible. This is one of those things, but it seems even more impossible than anything they've ever experienced. They decide to drop the questions for now. It'll be a while until they receive any answers on a lot of things.
They watch as Lucy kicks the guy who just can't take no for an answer and Chisaki becomes nervous over something as little as hand-holding.
The women watch Natsu's reaction. It was no secret that Natsu and Lucy loved each other and before either could confess she had gotten taken away from them. They want to be sensitive to his feelings yet at the same time want to be happy for Lucy even though the person on screen isn't their Lucy.
This Lucy, the one on screen, is trying to make the most of what she has, and for whatever reason she is drawn to this Chisaki fellow. The consensus between the women is to be happy for her. There's nothing they could do anyway even if they disapproved.
"Someone needs to activate Gildarts shift!"
When Gildarts enters he waves, "What's up everyone?" He sees them all gathered around the LacrimaVision. "What are you watching?"
"Well, you see..." Master tells him the story.
Gildarts nods his head, following along listening intently, asking questions they themselves have already asked and unfortunately don't have any answers for the crash mage. They got the disc about two weeks ago and they've been trying to get through it as fast as possible, but they can't let the job board overflow...
"Has he sent another one?"
"No," Mira says. "We're hoping that we'll have another one by the time we're done with-"
"Fairy Tail!" The mailman calls out. "I have another one!" He moves out of the way as the dragon slayers haul ass out of there to go to the post office.
The dragon slayers, as expected, don't come up with anything new. Gildarts makes himself comfortable next to Cana, who for once isn't grumbling about his close proximity.

Chisaki is playing a game of Shogi with Boss when the intercom buzzes. It's Ryota Wakabayashi, the boss of Hagane Okami Ichizoku "Steel Wolf Clan". Chisaki doesn't mind the guy but if he's there then his daughter is more than likely with him. This isn't going to go well. Lucy's going to be over any minute now. She wanted to clean up and change after work before coming over.
"Hello, Wakabayashi." Boss greets.
"Hello. I hope we're not interrupting anything." He stoically says.
"Not at all. Now to what do I owe the pleasure?"
"If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to speak in your office," He looks over at Chisaki, "alone."
"Okay. Chisaki please keep Miss Kumagai company."
"Yes, sir." Chisaki watches as they disappear into the other room leaving him with her.
In an over flirtatious voice Kumagai says, "Hello, Chisaki. It's always such a pleasure."
"Hey! That's the woman Lucy saved Chibiki from." Natsu says.
"His name is Chisaki, not Chibiki dumbass." Gray corrects.
Natsu just waves him off. He didn't like the woman before and doesn't like her now.
"Whoa! Who's that big guy?" Gildarts asks.
"That's Rappa."
"Hey! How dare that bitch call Lucy a blonde bimbo!" Cana yells.
"Holy shit! Lucy appeared out of thin air. How did she do that?" Gildarts asks and gets a quick rundown on stuff they forgot to mention. "Well, damn. She could take over Earth if she wanted to."
"Lucky for them Luce isn't like that," Natsu replies to the statement.
They watch as Wakabayashi comes out of a room with the old man behind him. They do not like the look he gives Lucy. Actually, they don't like the man at all. He's smarmy and perverted, but not like the kind of perverted Fairy Tail is. He seems like the kind that would take her even without consent and from what they've seen…
Everyone is appalled at the man calling the mother of his child a bitch.
"Dammit Bright Eyes, why did you have to go and promise to not listen in on souls anymore unless it's an emergency?"
"Is it wise for her to drop her guard like that?"
"If she has the power you say she has then she'll be fine," Gildarts says.
"If Lucy is putting fighting gear on and that Rappa guy is getting excited, does that mean…" It's confirmed when Chisaki says they're going to the ring.
Lucy steps into the caged ring and she can hear the whistles in the air, the men reacting to what she's wearing. It's nothing sexy and appealing, it's just a black sports bra and black spandex shorts, with blue sneakers and white socks. She also has on her metal studded gloves. She mentally calls upon Taurus's strength, thank goodness it doesn't accompany any flashing lights, and flips the switch to turn on the soul hearing ability and focuses on Rappa's. She catches in Chisaki's struggle to not obliterate everyone. The bell dings and Rappa doesn't waste any time going after Lucy. Despite his extreme speed rotating his shoulders, she's able to duck and dodge the endless barrage of bullet punches. Between her battles when she lived on Earthland and the training she's done for the past two years on Earth, she has developed many different fighting styles. She devised her workout routine to help with strength, stamina, and agility. Being able to hear Rappa's soul is also a big advantage. She decides not to utilize the shadows too often, she wants to show everyone, especially Kumagai what she's capable of.
Rappa has stopped and he's wondering how she was able to dodge everything and not be worn out. He's surprised when she crouches down to use a leg sweep and knocks his ass down.
"Fuck yeah, this is what I'm talking about!" Rappa shouts.
"He reminds me of someone I know," Gildarts says as his eyes cut to Natsu who is watching the fight intently. Gildarts turns his attention back to the screen. If it wasn't for the fact the guild told him she has retained all of her memories he would believe she has amnesia. This is not the Lucy remembers. The one he remembers didn't like to fight and when she did she didn't fight like that. One of them mentioned she spent a lot of time learning new styles of fighting and techniques and it shows here.
Everyone bursts into tears and lifts their hands with the pointer finger and thumb up as well. They gasp when Rappa goes to attack her from behind and are stunned when Lucy gives him a roundhouse kick.
"She was listening in on his soul throughout the whole fight," Cobra informs.
Rappa and Lucy shake hands as another guy shows up. A tall, muscular man with shadowed eyes, and his head is shaven. He wears a dark dress shirt, the top few buttons left undone, and plain pants, along with black dress shoes. He wears a medical mask. He mentions having a crystallization quirk. The voice from earlier speaks again.
Present Mic's Voice: Yu Hojo. Quirk: Crystallize, it grants him the ability to produce sharp, durable crystals from his skin. This power is both effective for close-range offense and defense. He can grow his crystals into a sword around his arm.
Everyone watches as a somewhat beaten-up Lucy takes Chisaki out of there to take care of him.
"What's wrong with him?" Gildarts asks.
"He has something that's called Mysophobia."
"And that is?"
"Fear of germs."
"It's only shown blood and dirt to cause such a reaction."
"He also has anxiety around big crowds of people."
"What about you know when they're intimate? Does he react to that?"
"Dunno, the man is still a virgin."
Gildarts eyes bug out, "Whaaaaat?"
"Yup, Lucy there is the only one he's ever gotten close to."
"Apparently Chisaki is a nicer guy with Lucy around and…" Cobra drifts off and everyone waits for what he's about to say, "Kumagai is now kind of scared of the woman but she's not going to let it stop her. Come hell or high water, she'll find a way to get Heartfilia out of the picture and have Chisaki."
"I don't like the sound of that."
"The woman really is obsessed."
"Let's keep watching so we can get to the next disc," Gildarts says.
"As much as we would love to continue, we need a break."
"Would it be all right if I rewind it and watch everything for myself? I might be able to catch something no one else did."
"Cobra here for some reason can hear their souls. It should be impossible but well we've been through and done things that should be impossible so we've kind of stopped questioning it."
"I wouldn't mind rewatching to listen in a second time to see if I missed anything. It was difficult trying to listen to their souls while blocking yours out and also trying to keep up with everyone talking."
"Okay. Laxus could you help them move that up to Gildart's office?"
"Why mine?"
"It's not like you use it."
"Touche."
Gildarts watches it quietly so Cobra can concentrate. His reactions are much the same as everyone else's. It's been two years and knowing Lucy she didn't sit idly by waiting for Fairy Tail to find her. She searched for ways to get back home, there's no doubt about it. However, if she's settling down, attempting to make a life for herself then her search was fruitless. Even her spirits weren't of any help if they're encouraging her to slow down and live her life. He can't say he blames her. She's not made like him, capable of wandering the world alone. It's understandable that she would want more company than from what he gathered a couple of old geezers.
He can understand the loneliness of not having someone by her side in a more intimate way. Cornelia was his only love but because of his job, he couldn't always be there, and she left him. He spent years bedding different women to keep the loneliness at bay.
For years Lucy had Natsu by her side and from what he's been told they've always been inseparable. The love they have for each other has never been a secret. They've had an unbreakable bond and even if things with this guy get serious, he knows her love for Natsu will always live on in her heart. He still loves Cornelia with all his being today.
Natsu. That poor kid, he's said he's more concerned about her safety and how she's doing. Gildarts knows better though. There's more he's not saying. He's hiding it from everyone. Gildarts makes a mental note to have a private conversation with Natsu at some point.
But is this Chisaki guy good for her?
"I know he seems like a piece of work, but with the right influence there's still time for him to get his shit together," Cobra says in response to Gildart's thoughts.
Gildarts nods his head. He's sure if Cobra had a more positive influence he wouldn't have gone down that dark path.
"Maybe. Maybe not." Cobra shrugs.

"What compelled Jiji to lie to Wakabayashi, saying he knew nothing about it and didn't want to get involved?" Loke asks.
"Gut instinct told him something was off."
Loke hums while he stares at Lucy.
"What?"
"It's weird sitting here on a date with 'Cana'."
Lucy ignores the date comment, "I can't believe I never thought about turning into a guildmate before. Then again I didn't think I could do it so never bothered to try." She's disguised as Cana wearing something similar to Leo's Star Dress but the color scheme is purple and gold, so the boss of the Steel Wolf clan and his men don't recognize her. "I could have been flying around as Happy this whole time."
"If I could turn into an exceed, I would go with Pantherlily. The guy knows how to fight and has a big sword."
"Lucy could turn into one of us this whole time?"
"Apparently. Even she didn't know that until she tried."
"Why did he have to choose my Cana to go on a date with that man-whore!" Gildarts cries.
Happy takes offense to Loke saying he would much rather be Pantherlily.
"Why can't we hear what Lucy is hearing in their souls?"
Everyone turns their heads towards Cobra and is scared at what they see. He's snarling and holding the grip on his mug so hard it shatters. "Trust me, it's better that you can't hear that sick fuck's soul. FUCK! I need to get out of here and destroy something."
Laxus goes with him so he can ask what he heard. He has a good idea of what it could be about and wants to question Cobra. He's got a bad feeling about what he'll be told, but he needs to know, especially after hearing there are more women and children that Lucy knew of.
The others talk about her conversation with Loke and he's right, there's no changing the past. They just hope that after she takes down the ring, she'll be able to choose a different path. They were all awed at the end.
Loke kisses Lucy on the forehead, "I love you, Lucy."
"I love you too Loke." When Loke has shimmered away, Lucy turns to the sky, closes her eyes, and feels the heat of the sun on her skin. She opens her eyes and looks at her hand then giggles, "Right." Lucy transforms back to herself. She holds up her hand in Fairy Tail's sign, but this time it's not for her former guildmates, it's for those women and children who are waiting for her.
"Don't worry, I'm coming."
Natsu goes to head out, but Gildarts stops him and asks him to follow him. Natsu doesn't say a word as he follows Gildarts to his hut. He plops down in a seat while the guy fixes them some tea and splashes a little bit of whiskey in it. Doesn't sound like a good combination but he drinks it anyway.
It's quiet in the hut and they drink their spiked tea, Gildarts trying to figure out where to begin. Natsu has conflicting emotions regarding Lucy, even after two years, and now he has no choice but to sit back and watch her get close and fall in love with someone else. Due to that choice, she's going to have people gunning for her to get her out of the picture.
Natsu decides for Gildarts where to start. "I don't think Luce made the right choice."
"Hmmm? Why is that?"
"She's been killing people and she's choosing to associate with these people that we still don't know if they're good guys or bad. They're not heroes but they do save those who need saving. And she's just… not the Luce I remember."
"I'm sure the others feel the same, but Natsu, we still don't know what happened, and whatever it was, changed her. Sometimes, people do what they have to, to survive."
"She went into the ring and beat the crap out of that one man and killed him. She could have let him live."
Gildarts remembers that part well, "If I'm being honest Natsu, I would have done the same thing."
"What? Why?"
"Do you not remember what that man did to his daughter? He not only physically abused her but…" Gildarts starts crying.
Natsu cries too, that was horrible to find out. After they've calmed down Natsu clears his throat, "That guy though, Chibiki-"
"You mean Chisaki."
"He's killed without any remorse like it's no big deal to get rid of those guys."
"I get it Natsu, I do. We have to remember this is a completely different world than our own. Even if you don't want to hear it Natsu, we have to be thankful that man likes Lucy the way he does."
Natsu sniffles and wipes his nose with his forearm, "He could just as easily kill her."
"Yes, he could but the way I see it is he wouldn't unless she was disloyal. Is Lucy disloyal Natsu?"
"No, she's the most loyal person I know. What if he finds out her secret though? He'll be pissed to find out she's been lying to him."
"Yeah, that is a problem and the only thing we can do is watch what will happen when he finds out. I'm sure she'll be able to hold her own against him." It's silent for a few beats and then asks, "Do you love her Natsu?"
"Yeah. I do." Natsu cries. "It hurts. I… want her here with me… but I also want her to be happy and if she's happy with him..."
"Who knows you may find-"
"I'll never find someone like Lucy again and I don't plan on trying. I'm not giving up hope on finding her. I don't care if it takes another two years."
"I'm just saying Natsu, if you find someone to keep you company, no one will hold it against you. They're not holding it against Lucy."
"I know, I hear the women, but I don't think I can do that."
"Are you upset with Lucy for finding someone to keep her company?"
Natsu shakes his head, "No, she doesn't like to be alone, but something about this guy feels off."
"Yeah, I feel it too. Cobra said though that with the right positive influence, there's still time for him to get his shit together."
"Lucy is a good positive influence. I'm sure she can help him. She's helped me."
Gildarts chuckles, "Yeah she has. I've seen the difference."
Natsu gets up to leave. "No matter what she does, I'll never stop loving her."
Gildarts watches as he leaves and tells himself that the next time he goes on a quest to search more diligently for a way to get Lucy back.
Sunday, June 8, 2024
They're all standing at attention while the Boss reviews the plan one last time and gives everyone their orders. A couple of teams have been put together. There are six drivers (they're all the Boss's men), four to haul 24 victims, and the other two are for the foot soldiers. The four vans will haul 6 victims, along with someone to ride shotgun (they're the Boss's men as well) and two others in the back. In van one there's Hojo and Fukuzawa (the counselor who works at the shelter and leads the support groups). In van two there's Rappa and Yuki (a woman from the women's shelter that Fukuzawa trusts to handle and be quiet about the mission. Van three has Kurono and Sakurai (the woman Lucy saved back in April when she met Chisaki). The last van is Chisaki and Lucy's.
"Today is the day they take the ring down."
They listen in on the plan and it's so weird seeing Lucy dressed in combat gear again. Knowing it's going to be intense; they remain quiet and watch intently. No one interrupts to say what's on their minds or ask questions. Lucy isn't the only one disgusted by how many people have shown up for the auction. They spot Wakabayashi and Kumagai.
The two continue with their mission and they realize just how much Lucy grounds him. Lucy confides in him that she doesn't like to kill and he offers to take care of them for her. They suppose it's a sweet thing for him to say.
They watch as the two are alerted of a woman screaming. When they enter the room, there are a lot of shouts of "Oh my god!" "Bastards" as well as shocked faces that turn away from the sight. They're horrified at the sight.
For once they can't bring themselves to disagree with Chisaki killing them, but the way he's killing them is disgusting.
Everyone is shocked by the amount of human beings being locked up and tears run down a lot of their faces when they see children, the condition they're in. It takes a few people back to the tower of heaven and they would love nothing more than to be able to jump through that screen and comfort them, then take down the bastards themselves.
Seems as though Lucy has the same idea. They watch her head back up and what they see next…
Lucy leaves while he's distracted. Is it foolish of her to do this? Yes. But something is burning up inside of her. When she gets to the room where the auction is going to take place, the burning sensation that she's been feeling gets so bad that before she knows it she's covered in flames. They're not hurting her though because they're Natsu's flames. How in the hell did she accomplish this without using Gemini's Stardress? 'You subconsciously called upon his power princess', Gemini answers.
If Lucy remembers, she'll ask for a further explanation, but she needs to turn into Natsu before anyone manages to catch a glimpse of her through the flames. The fact that the difference in magic power doesn't mean shit in this world is very helpful.
"Natsu" charges into the fray yelling at his allies to get out of there, that he's got this.
Jiji's men are confused as all hell as to where this pink-haired man came from and why he's helping. Their eyes go wide when the stranger yells, "Fire Dragon's Roar!" Burning everyone in the path of the attack to a crisp. The heat is excruciating, and they decide to listen to the man and get out of there. Like hell, they want to be caught up in that, not to mention this man is going to attract a lot of attention so they need to get the hell out of there now! They shoot people down to stop them from escaping. A wall of fire separates them, and they take that opportunity to turn around and run.
Everyone screams in fear and runs for the exits but before they can reach the doors, Lucy shoots out fireballs from her hands, separating the assholes from the door by walls of fire. The heat is so excruciating that they get burns, even from a few feet away. Unfortunately, a few people did manage to escape before she lit the doors on fire. The quirkless all gather in the middle of the room searching for an escape while yelling for the person to stop and let them go.
They along with the ones with quirks, useless ones at that, get frozen on the spot. Ice forms on the ground and travels up to their waists holding them in place. They look around for the one responsible and where a pink-haired man stood, there is now a dark-haired man clad in only boxers. He smirks before a bright light shines and now there is a man with maroon hair, a scar going over his missing right eye. The look on his face turns sinister when he releases a purple mist from his mouth.
When they breathe it in they writhe in pain, clutching their throats. Some fight through it and use their guns, knives, and anything they have on their person to break the ice to free themselves.
Lucy calms her breathing and slowly returns to normal. She doesn't know what kind of effect Cobra's poison ability will have on her. If she had a copy of Chelia's magic before she lost it, she wouldn't be too worried. Lucy smacks her forehead, "Lucy you idiot." She pulls out Gemini's key and summons them.
When they appear they automatically turn into Wendy and remain by Lucy's side in case they're needed. "Princess, you need to get out of here soon."
"I know Gemini." Lucy covers her mouth and coughs. She pulls her hand away and sees blood on it. "I have to make sure they're not going to get away."
Gemini gets right to healing Lucy, "Look around princess, I don't think they are."
Lucy does so and her eyes go wide at the destruction. She knew the night was going to end with a lot of people dying, but not like this or by her hand. She takes in the scene and cries, "Gemini, what did I do."
"What you had to. They will never hurt anyone again. You're all healed up." Before Gemini leaves they say one last thing, "Lucy, we could never judge you for this when we've killed innocent people."
"Gemini..."
"We love you, Lucy, now go before it's too late."
Lucy nods her head, "Love you too Gemini." After Gemini leaves Lucy takes in a deep breath. Before she sinks into the shadows she hears someone shoot off a gun and the bullet hits her left arm. Because of the adrenaline pumping through her system, she doesn't even realize she's been shot. She really does need to get the hell out of there.
Now here we are, where we left off in the beginning.
There is complete and utter silence throughout the guild hall. Their Lucy… She… Everyone is horrified at what has transpired. What? How?
Everyone doesn't know how to go about talking about the mass murder Lucy committed. Sure she's killed a few men, but never...
She transformed into Natsu, Gray, and Cobra when she committed that act!
Cobra smirks. Had he been there, those bastards wouldn't have been so lucky.
Natsu was shocked and awed by the fact she summoned his flames, and she didn't get burnt. It was so weird watching her transform into him and even weirder watching "himself" fight.
Gray wants to be bothered by Lucy using his magic to freeze all of those people in place but can't bring himself to. As fucked up as it sounds, it makes him proud Lucy thought of him and his magic to take down those assholes.
Cobra himself feels it's an honor that she used his. "If they didn't die, they would continue kidnapping women and children to sell them off."
"But the old man's men already planned on doing that!" Someone yells.
Bickslow speaks up, "I'll be completely honest, and think what you want, but I wouldn't have been able to hold back either. I don't know why Cobra can hear their souls and I can't see them, but if I could they would most likely be the darkest, most evil souls I've ever seen."
"Killing one person is enough to fuck a person up, especially someone like Lucy. But to go that far? She's not going to be the same after this."
"We still have more to watch."
"I'm not sure if I want to continue."
"Those who feel they can't go ahead and leave. We'll give you the bullet points."
All that's left is Chisaki worrying over Lucy and then taking care of her when she finally makes her way back. They all wince when he disassembles her arm and reassembles it after grabbing the bullet. For once, he wasn't comfortable using his quirk.
They took a break but only long enough to brawl out their frustrations. They went somewhere they could go all out without having to worry about hurting the citizens. Some of the women even joined in. Men getting beaten to death. More men in the Yakuza hurting women. Killing comrades. Sex trafficking rings. Some of them wouldn't admit it out loud, but if they could, they would kill the bastards too.
The all-out brawls helped release a lot of their feelings, more so Natsu. He was not only able to release the anger and frustration he felt over what happened but a new sadness that swelled within him. He's not upset over what she did and will still always love her. Like him, her emotions took over. He knows Lucy though; When what she did sinks in she's going to be distraught and he wishes more than anything he could be the one there to comfort her.

It's been three weeks since they saved the women and children from an even more horrific fate. It wasn't too long after Chisaki and Lucy's group fled that the heroes arrived at the scene. They got out of there just in the nick of time.
After Chisaki fixed up Lucy, he passed her off to Fukuzawa before going back to the compound to get cleaned up. He stood in the shower, one hand propped on the wall, head bowed as the water cascaded down his body rinsing the filth away. He watched as the blood went down the drain, some of which was Lucy's. He got so pissed at the fact he disassembled the tiled wall and created a huge watery mess. He reassembled what he had broken, finished cleaning himself off, and when he got out, wrapping a towel around his waist, he called someone to clean it up. Unfortunately, that mess went into his bedroom, and now that too had to be cleaned.
Fairy Tail sits in silence as they watch everything. To be honest they were in a little bit of shock. They aren't surprised by Lucy's reaction to what she has done. It is really sweet of Chisaki to stay by her side and take care of her when she needs him. It breaks their hearts that they can't be there to help her through it.
It really pisses them off when the hero lies about what happened and because of him, Lucy is labeled a dangerous villain. They cringed at the news coverage about the aftermath of Lucy going berserk. Because of autopsies, they learned some of the deceased suffered frostbite and were poisoned.
It also pisses them off when they learn that a lot of why it happened is covered up all because people higher up the chain were involved.
They were conflicted on the Chisaki fellow. At first, he seems like a villain but then he does something to help someone out. For instance, that Mika woman tried to speak up on behalf of Lucy and talk about what really happened. The poor girl was arrested for it. Despite the consequences, Chisaki and his friend Kurono broke her out. They'll admit that just like the old man in the video, they're proud of what Chisaki had done. Freeing an innocent victim.
"I wonder where she's going to go from here. She has to leave her life as Celeste behind." Erza ponders.
"That old lady is right about being concerned about Lucy's mental health, that kind of stuff isn't easy to live with," Jellal says.
Laxus runs a hand through his hair, "This really fucking sucks. Being stuck watching her go through this alone and not being able to help."
Softly, Mira says, "But she's not alone. She has Jiji, Ms. Yamamoto, Chisaki, and others."
"I want to hate the guy because of how violent he can be, but he seems to genuinely care for Lucy." Gray stops and looks at Natsu in the corner of his eyes, "and would do everything in his power to protect her."
Natsu is also conflicted but doesn't say anything. Instead, he looks at the former criminals in the guild. If they can be forgiven for their past crimes and move on, Chisaki can too when he decides to better himself.
"How about a break and get some jobs done before we continue?" Master Makarov suggests.
As antsy as they are to continue, they do need time to absorb all of the information given.
Everyone plays the hand they're dealt
And learns to walk through life themselves
Not everything in life is handed on a plate
When people think your words are true
It doesn't matter what you do
I sold my soul to get here
How 'bout you?
Staind - How About You
After chapters July '23-Septemeber '23 it'll cut back to Fairy Tail and that's when you'll get the flashback.
I neglected to mention this takes place a year and a half before the Shie Hassaikai Arc.
