Fairy Tail belongs to Hiro Mashima and My Hero Academia belongs to Kohei Horikoshi

Reminder: There will be spoilers for both Fairy Tail and My Hero Academia.

TRIGGER WARNING: This fanfiction contains violence, death, rape, sexual assault, and other material that may be sensitive to the reader.

This chapter contains none of the above, however, there is a bit of a lime.

I forgot to put a warning in the last chapter that this one will have spoilers for The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting and The Way of the Househusband. Has anyone ever seen, or read, The Way of the Househusband? It's fucking awesome, I love it. How about The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting? It is cute, and fun with some violence thrown in there.

The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting as well as Kirishima Tooru, the Boss of the Sakuragi clan, Kazuhiko Sakuragi, and Sugihara belongs to Tsuyika.

The Way of the Househusband as well as Tatsu, the Immortal Dragon, Masa, and the Shinzaki clan belongs to Kousuke Oono.

There's really no point in having these characters appear other than for a little comedy and I already have 9 OC's. Not capable of creating anymore at the moment.

Chrono is walking down the hall with the newest recruit, Deidoro Sakaki, taking him to his new boss, Overhaul. This new addition makes four members of, what Chisaki has dubbed, The Eight Bullets. He knocks on the door and a sound of destruction and a loud "Dammit!" greets him. Upon entering the room, he finds Chisaki reassembling the tea table.

"How are you faring?" Chrono asks.

Chisaki bends over and rests his forearms on his thighs, fingers linked looking down at the ground says, "Better than I thought, but when I think about-"

"I got Sakaki here." Chrono cuts him off.

The only time Chisaki takes off his gloves around others is when he's angry and disassembling something. There's been a few occasions where he wasn't angry, he was worried or in some cases had no emotion at all. Since Lucy has become a part of Chisaki's life, he's been feeling emotions that are foreign to him and is worried about accidentally hurting her when they get more intimate.

Chisaki looks up to greet the man until he sees the mask he's wearing, It's reminiscent of a deer skull, without antlers. "What the hell kind of mask is that?" He looks over at Kurono, "Why is it that only you and Hojo have a normal mask?"

Sakaki plops down on the couch next to Chisaki and spreads his arms along the back, resting one leg on his thigh, "I was told I could pick out my mask, I gotta admit though it makes it difficult for me to use my quirk. This is a nice place."

Chisaki glares at him, "Get the fuck up now."

Sakaki raises his arms in surrender getting off the couch, "Chill man."

"I told you that a mask that covers your mouth and nose is required when you become a member of the Eight Bullets. And you are also to show me respect and call me Overhaul, not man."

"Okay, okay. Chill Overhaul."

"We might be able to modify it for you. What's your quirk?"

All three men turn to the feminine voice finding a blonde standing there. She's wearing a red turtle-neck dress that reaches her knees, ankle boots, and a red fingerless glove on her right hand. The necklace Chisaki had given her rests on top of her chest. Each man gives her a different look. One soft, one friendly, and another lecherous.

"Damn, who is this hot piece of ass?" Sakaki licks his lips and stalks towards her.

Yu Hojo who escorted Lucy to Overhaul stands in front of her protectively, "My apologies Overhaul, I didn't know you were in a meeting."

"It's not a problem Hojo. Why are you here?" He says angrily which isn't directed towards her. He's been told to let Lucy care for herself no matter how much he wants to hurt anyone who disrespects her.

Lucy steps around Hojo with a smile, "I thought I would surprise you." She knows that tone is because of the recruit's comment, not her unannounced stopping by. She holds her hand out to the new recruit, "Hi! My name is Lucy and I'm Chisaki's girlfriend."

"Chisaki? Who's Chisaki?" Sakaki asks and his boss Overhaul speaks up.

"I am and you will show her respect. If you don't, there are consequences; you don't want to know what they are. Understood?"

"Yes Overhaul." Sakaki wonders how in the hell his new boss landed this blonde bombshell. He takes her hand and shakes it, "My name is Deidoro Sakaki. My quirk is Sloshed. It allows me to subject nearby people to severe dizziness and inhibit their ability, and their sense of balance, and it puts them in a state of being drunk. The strength is dependent on how much I drink."

"I wish my old friend Cana were here, I'd love to see how she would fair against you. She was quite the drinker."

"Sounds like my kind of lady. How about you? Can you hold your liquor?"

Lucy shrugs her shoulders, "I haven't drunk in years so I may not be able to handle it as much as I used to."

"How about we find out?" Though no one can see the look on his face, they can all hear the flirty tone in his voice.

Hojo grabs the collar of his furry vest, "How about no and we get out of here."

"What the hell man? Let go of me!"

Both Rappa and Katsukame show up and Rappa yells, "Where's the new recruit? I want to fight him!"

Katsukame, who is quite bigger than Rappa slaps him on the back, "Not now. Hello there Lucy. Looking good today."

Rappa yells again, "Lucy? Where is she?" He pushes Katsukame out of the way and when he finds her he gives her a high five, "How are you doing little lady?"

"I'm doing fine Rappa and no there will be no re-match." She giggles.

Sakaki scoffs and gets out of Hojo's grasp, "Seriously? You like beating up gorgeous women?"

"What? No! Besides she kicked my ass."

Kurono sighs, "C'mon let's go." It's a struggle to get the arguing men out but he manages to herd them out of the room.

After they leave, Chisaki takes his mask off, folds it up, and tosses it on the table next to the glove he hasn't put back on. He gets up and wraps Lucy in his arms before she can sit down. He wastes no time connecting his lips to her. Kissing her has become a new addiction. They've only been able to see each other a few times since their date and each time they're alone he doesn't hesitate to kiss her.

After breaking the kiss, Lucy breathily says, "Hello to you too Kai."

Kai rests his forehead on hers, "Sorry, can't help myself."

She's led to the couch and sits next to Kai. Sensing something is troubling him she asks, "What's wrong? Is everything okay?"

Kai leans back and sighs, "I've been practicing not shattering anything with my bare hands."

Lucy cocks her head to the side, "I thought you have control of your quirk?"

"I do, but the majority of the time I use it is when I'm angry and lash out, other times is to help someone."

"Like when you removed the bullet from my arm."

"Yeah. I don't know if Pops told you this, but when he realized I could use my quirk to help people, he encouraged me to learn medicine and biology."

"Makes sense, can't put someone back together if you don't have a clue about how the human body is made up."

"Thing is, I've really only used my bare hands for destruction." He leans over and runs his palm over the smooth surface of the table, "I've never touched anything to simply touch it." Aside from almost leaving himself dickless on a few occasions while fantasizing it was her getting him off. He's not about to tell her that though. "Whether it be due to my aversion to germs or the inevitable event of me destroying it."

Lucy watches him deep in concentration to not disassemble the table and wonders how long he's been practicing. All of a sudden Gildarts face comes to the forefront of her mind. How did she not see the similarity sooner? Granted they're different for example when Gildarts uses his magic, no matter the molecular structural level, the object or person he destroys turns into blocks. Wait, that's not right. When he used his magic on Natsu he created a bunch of chibi Natsu's. Anyway, when it comes to Kai, he can change the molecular structural level into whatever form he wants, including people. When Gildarts rebuilds the biological components of a person, they're back to the way they originally were, scars and all. Kai can do the same, however, when Kai rebuilds the biological components of a person, he can heal them, leaving them good as new if he so chooses.

She wonders if there's an on/off switch, like using Cobra's soul-hearing magic. It took a lot of concentration and focus to use it at first. Now that she has that mastered, she can choose when to listen to souls and not constantly hear them all the time. If he can turn his quirk on and off, how does he not have control to avoid destroying everything he touches? What was Kai doing when his quirk manifested? What did he accidentally disassemble to have him scared to touch anything? Was it a person and that's what led to his aversion to blood? What age did his quirk manifest? If she recalls correctly, quirks normally manifest at the age of four. However, it is known that some quirk-users were later bloomers. Accidentally disassembling a person, no matter the age, would have anyone weary to touch someone.

As she watches Kai, she becomes curious if his emotions play a role. He stated that the majority of the time he's used his quirk is when he's angry. She tries to remember the night he disassembled her arm. He seemed more distraught than anything.

"Hey Kai-AHH!" She is trapped between Kai and the couch when he quickly turns to cover her from the flying debris from the table.

Kai was sitting there in contentment with Lucy by his side. He could hear her brain going a mile a minute and was very curious as to what about, but he didn't want to interrupt her thoughts. So, he is simply enjoying being in her presence while he concentrates on holding his quirk back and leaving the table intact. It's not as difficult as he thought it was going to be. It's only when he's startled and if he can break the habit of disassembling being his go-to reaction then it shouldn't be a problem much longer. She has no idea how much he appreciates that she's not the clingy type and demands attention. They're able to sit there in comfortable silence and when the other is ready to talk, they will. She also doesn't ask too many questions about what he does and what role he plays in the yakuza. She leaves it be and is perfectly fine that he isn't always available during her free time. The nights he is available and she's off doing her thing, he gives her the same courtesy and will lay in bed, staring at his phone waiting for a message or a call from her like a love-struck teenager. It never fails to make him smile once she does. They talk about anything and everything, except for stuff they aren't ready to bring up.

Walking around the compound, he's tried to hide the smile behind the mask, but those who know him very well can always see it in his eyes. Pops tells him time and time again that there is nothing wrong with it. He doesn't always have to be cold-hearted and ruthless; he can save that for enemies who deserve it, not the ones who speak poorly of the Shie Hassaikai or try to move on their turf though. When it comes to the latter, Kai knows he has gone too far, but he just wants to repay the old man by saving their plummeting reputation by setting an example to show them who's boss around there. He talks to Lucy about it and he realizes that the longer he's with Lucy the more he understands the path his old man has laid out before him. There's a time and place for his callous attitude.

Lost in thought, he loses focus and disassembles the table when Lucy speaks and startles him. He covers Lucy in time to protect her from the majority of the debris. In doing so, he lands on top of her, sprawled along the couch. He places his hands on either side of her head, caging her in on the couch, and pushes himself up to relieve her of his weight holding her down. "Are you okay?"

Lucy's heart is racing a mile a minute from the unexpected occurrence along with realizing the position they're in. She can feel her cheeks heat up and wonders how long it's going to take Kai to realize that her dress had risen when he pushed her down which made it easier for her legs to spread and he is now lying in between them. "Mhmm. I'm fine."

Kai doesn't understand why she's so nervous or why her face is beet red until he takes notice of the position they're in. He also notices he can see much more of her long, toned legs. His heart races quicker than it was before. How many nights has he dreamt about being in this exact position? His breathing becomes heavier when her hands slide up his chest and glide underneath the opening at the top of his shirt, touching his bare skin. She must think he is starting to have a panic attack due to his breathing patterns because she removes her hands from him. He grabs a wrist with his gloved hand and puts her hand back on him because that is not the case at all. He was not expecting this turn of events and now that they're in this moment, he can't pass it up. His bare hand remains on the couch as the gloved one cups her cheek and he leans down to kiss her, which starts light then turns into a bruising kiss when he puts more pressure on their lips. It becomes more passionate than their previous kisses. He needs more though.

His bare hand caresses her neck, feeling skin for the first time that didn't involve killing someone. When she gasps from his touch, he slips his tongue into her wet cavern hesitantly, meeting up with hers. They massage their tongues together and he can't bring himself to care that their saliva is mixing. The germaphobe side says that it helps he can smell and taste her fresh breath from her toothpaste and mouthwash. The side that has been craving this woman and slowly falling for her says fuck it.

Her fingers rake through his hair and she gently pushes his head down to take the kiss deeper. His bare hand travels down to her thigh, avoiding sensitive areas. When he makes contact with her skin and rubs his hand up and down her leg, they both moan into each other's mouths from the skin-on-skin contact. This heightens his need for her and he's not going to stop until she says so.

Lucy herself needs more as well. She glides her hands down his chest and deftly unbuttons his shirt. She doesn't know when he stopped wearing his tie and leaves a few unbuttons undone looking a little less formal and a tad more casual but she's not complaining. It's easier access to his hard-toned body that he hides from the world. She can tell he's touch starved because when her hands start roaming his exposed torso, he breaks the kiss, his lips barely away from hers, and is breathing heavily. (Yeah, she's never been touched sensually either, but she has had physical contact with people a lot through her life, whether it be hugging, being carried, or Natsu groping her chest.)

"L-Lucy." Kai grips Lucy's thigh as he experiences a new sensation. The simple touch has him wanting even more. He's never felt so aroused before and the farther they go each time they're together, he overflows with more desire. He kisses her roughly and grinds himself against her. The sensation of the friction from this action causes both of them to make sounds of pleasure. Kai rests his bare hand on the arm of the couch to brace himself as he continues to rub against her.

"Mmm, Kai." Lucy moans out. She wraps her arms and legs around him and presses him tighter to her. She rolls her hips to Kai's movements and fuck is she craving for more.

"Lucy, I need-"

"Hey Kai! Lucy! What do you two-"

The unexpected visitor startles them both and Kai disassembles the couch causing them to land on the floor with a loud thud. "Fuck!" "Ow!" Kai ensures his bare hand doesn't touch anything because they don't need anything else breaking apart.

"Want… for… dinner?"

Both Lucy and Kai blush profusely when they look up and see Jiji/Pops standing there blushing as well. They all stare at each other, embarrassed and the old man is the one to break the silence.

He coughs, "Carry on," and then closes the door.

Once she's broken out of her stupor, Lucy starts laughing, "I'm sorry, I know it's not funny."

Kai remains on top of Lucy, hands on the floor by either side of her head, "No, that was really embarrassing. He's not going to let me live that one down." He caresses her cheek with the back of his bare hand, "I'm just glad I wasn't touching you."

Lucy does her best not to think about what would have happened to her if he was and smiles up at him, "With a little more practice, it won't be a worry anymore.

When he leans in to kiss her, they are once again interrupted.

"Hey! Everything Okay? The Boss… looked…"

Kai slams his hand on the floor disassembling it to make a wall in front of Kurono. "Doesn't anyone know how to knock?"

"In all fairness man, this is a communal room. Be sure to clean up, you know the others will be asking what happened."

Kai then warns his friend, "Not a word of this to anyone." He hears the door close, "You hear me!"

Upon hearing Lucy giggle, he's reminded of the position they're in. Kai gets off of her and offers her his hand helping her up. Seeing her try to straighten her disheveled look he lets out a chuckle. He fixes everything and looks around for his glove and mask. When he finds them he groans.

"What is it?"

"I need a new mask and gloves."

"Do you have extra, or do you need to go to the store?"

"I got extra gloves in my room, but I don't think I have any masks."

"How about we go check and if you need a new mask we go to the store?"

"Sounds good, but could you wait for me at the front? If we both go into my room…"

Lucy blushes and nods, "Yeah."

After checking his room, he discovers that he indeed does need new masks. Eventually, he needs to get something other than disposable cloth ones. When he meets Lucy at the door Kurono is there, face full of mirth and Rappa and Katsukame are trying to get out of him what's so funny.

When they spot Overhaul, they bombard him with questions and he just gives them a glare, "None of your business, now get out of the way. We're going to get some fresh air."

He grabs Lucy's hand and before he drags her out of there he stops next to Kurono, "I'm serious, not a word."

Kai and Lucy walk to the store in comfortable silence. Kai holding her hand taking them through the back streets. Lucy wonders about their destination when he passes a few perfectly good stores. They finally arrive at one and he purchases what he needs. He has been extremely uncomfortable without a mask that as soon as they're in his possession, he puts one on.

When they leave, he says, "I have something I want to show you." A short walk from the store is a park. He needs to focus on something other than what occurred earlier. "This is my favorite park. My life changed here. It's where Pops found me and took me in. He saved me from a life living on the streets. I…"

Lucy places a hand on his arm, "It's okay, you don't have to talk about it."

"I do want to, I'm just not ready to tell you all of it."

"There's no hurry. Tell me what you can when you can, I'll be here ready to listen."

Kai squeezes her hand, happy to hear that.

Lucy looks around the park in awe, "It's wonderful."

"It wasn't back then. It was where a lot of the homeless stayed. They've fixed it up and the homeless were moved elsewhere."

"Where did the homeless go?" Lucy has an idea that Kai was one of the homeless individuals who stayed here. She wonders how old he was.

"I don't know, I never bothered to ask. When they fixed up the park, I was living with Pops by then. Before that…"

Lucy, sensing his apprehensiveness over continuing that sentence takes over the conversation and links her arm with Kai's. "Back in Magnolia, the town I'm from, there was a park that held many events of all kinds. Even last-minute ones. My best friend challenged Laxus, my brother, to a fight, and everyone made it a big deal and before anyone knew it there were vendors and a stage for performers."

"Your brother was okay with fighting a woman?"

"Oh, uh my best friend back then was a guy named Natsu."

A spike of jealousy hits Kai. "Were you two ever…"

"What? No!" Wanting to not touch the subject of Natsu she quickly continues, "I wasn't able to attend for long. From what I heard Laxus knocked him out with one hit."

He leaves it be for now but at some point, he wants to come back to the subject of her best friend. "What were you doing while this was going on?"

"I, along with a couple of friends were in the process of translating a long-forgotten language inscribed on an ancient artifact."

Kai knew she was smart but damn, translating forgotten languages? "What kind of ancient artifact was it? And, if it was a long-forgotten language, how were you able to translate it?"

"It was something that was rumored to cause chaos in the world. My friend Levy had a whole library of books of many different topics, one shelf containing nothing but different languages."

"And does it?"

"What?"

"That ancient artifact, does it cause chaos in the world?"

"Yes, if united with other certain artifacts. We learned the hard way that it's best to not bring the pieces together."

"What do you mean you learned the hard way? What exactly happened?"

Well shit, how does she explain this one… "Um well, we were tricked into gathering the pieces and once they were together it was a monstrosity, but it needed something specific to work." She can't tell him a celestial spirit mage was necessary and she was to be sacrificed in a giant fish clock, so instead she says, "They uh needed a virgin to sacrifice and I," she coughs, "was kidnapped to be that sacrifice."

Kai stops in his tracks and stares at her. "A virgin sacrifice? How cliché."

Lucy rubs the back of her head nervously, "I know right." That's what he picked up on?

"I know what you're thinking, but they obviously failed if you're here next to me."

"Yeah, my friends fought like hell to save me. It was a close one."

Kai nods and decides to walk her home. It's a comfortable silence during their trek. He's lost in his thoughts thinking about everything she just told him. Fairy Tail fought some kind of what he assumes to be a cult to save Lucy from being a sacrifice. She told him when they first met that Fairy Tail isn't a hero agency and they didn't need a hero license where she's from. Last he checked in America you did need a license. Why would she lie? Unless Magnolia was a small town that no one really thought too much about and so they were able to get away with whatever. She did say they went by their own rules. They must have known how to cover their tracks to avoid trouble with the government. Huh, maybe they are similar to a yakuza.

The Japanese government for the most part didn't give them much trouble, well that was until the rise of heroes. Then the yakuzas were forced underground. Pops seems to not give a shit and wants to be more on the up and up. When Kai mentioned getting into illegal trades so they could be on top again, he was shut down immediately. This was before he met Lucy.

He looks over at her and there's a serene smile on her face as she looks up into the night sky despite it being difficult for her to see the stars because of all the streetlights. It gives him an idea for a date.

When they get to Lucy's door, he takes off his mask. He needs to start taking her through the tunnels, he doesn't mind breathing in the air down there. Those of the lower ranks in the yakuza maintain it and the air is less polluted than the air above ground. There were a few times he wanted to push her up against a building and kiss her. The red dress she's wearing doesn't help much either.

"As much as I enjoy your previous wardrobe, I like this new look on you it's more..."

"Mature? Modest?"

"Yeah. You didn't have to change your wardrobe for me though."

"It wasn't for you per se. Yeah, I always feel undressed around you, but it got me thinking that maybe I've outgrown short skirts and tank tops that barely leave anything to the imagination."

"You also wore boots that went up mid-thigh which covered the majority of your legs." He points out for whatever reason. "Maybe it is a good thing though that you stopped wearing the short skirts." Chisaki wraps her in his arms, hands just above her ass, "One wrong move and everyone will see what you're wearing underneath."

"Yeah, don't want that..."

Neither don't waste any more time locking lips. The kiss is intense. His hands roam her body. All he can think about is what she felt like underneath him. He pulls her forward and she moans into his mouth when their hips meet, and his hard-on rubs against her. He groans when she grinds against him, her breasts rubbing against his chest.

He breaks off the kiss, "We got to stop."

"Mmm, Yeah..." She doesn't stop though, and he doesn't make any move to stop either.

When her hands move down to his waist he grabs her wrists. "Seriously."

Lucy pouts, "You're right." Her stomach grumbles, leaving her embarrassed.

Kai laughs until his stomach grumbles as well.

"You could always come in and I can whip up something for us to eat."

"I would love nothing more than to do that, but I better get back." He gives her one last kiss. "Good night, Lucy."

"Night Kai."

Saturday, August 17, 2024

The Boss and Chisaki are waiting at one of the restaurants that the Shie Hassaikai protect, waiting for others from ally clans for a meeting.

The restaurant closes for occasions like this to ensure not only privacy but also to deter others from resorting to violence. The last thing any of them need or want is for the heroes and the local authorities to show up. They all greet each other and take the time to catch up.

"How is your cute daughter doing Sakuragi?"

"She's doing fine." Kazuhiko Sakuragi the boss of the Sakuragi Clan replies annoyed.

"Do you have any pictures of the little lady?"

"No."

"I still find it hard to believe that Kirishima Tooru, the infamous demon, the first lieutenant of the Sakuragi clan is now her caretaker." The majority of the men laugh about it.

Even the first lieutenants, aside from Chisaki, outside the room laugh. Chisaki isn't going to laugh because if his Boss ordered him to do that, then he would no matter how much he didn't want to. Not that he has to worry about anything because Boss doesn't have any kids. At least to his knowledge.

Tooru comes from out of nowhere and smirks evilly at them. "Something funny?"

Chisaki smirks at their reactions. It's funny how they all quickly shut up. Though one guy, he can't remember his name, loves to antagonize Tooru.

Someone mentions Chisaki's new girlfriend and makes a crude comment. Chisaki hears the crude comments and wants to storm in there, but Tooru stops him. Chisaki has a lot of respect for the quirkless man, so he doesn't hurt him, just yanks his arm out of the man's grasp. He crosses his arms and leans against the wall.

"I don't appreciate you speaking poorly of the future matriarch of my family." The Boss says.

Wakabayashi says, "It makes a clan weak and easy to target."

Everyone in the room can feel Sakuragi's aura get dark.

"And yet, you want Chisaki and Kumagai to marry." The Boss calls him out. "Why is that?"

Now it's Wakabayashi's aura that turns dark.

A member of a different yakuza speaks up. "How is your daughter doing Wakabayashi? She must be upset now that Chisaki isn't available."

"Chisaki's still available. He hasn't given Lucy that necklace signifying her as his queen."

Everyone remains silent and someone speaks up, "You must not have heard the news that he did in fact do so last month."

Wakabayashi remains stone-faced and grits out, "I guess a congratulation is in order."

Wakabayashi's reaction to the news isn't surprising to a lot of them. The Boss had told those he trusted most that Wakabayashi wanted to marry his daughter off to Chisaki to combine the two clans and make them stronger. He's become more power-hungry as of late. They get where Wakabayashi is coming from, the heroes arresting members of the clans, forcing the clans to go underground but they can find a way to resurface and live a more peaceful life.

He had also filled them in about the kind of shady things Wakabayashi had been doing, such as being part of the sex trafficking and auctioning off women and children. They're disgusted with that. Unless they want to start a war, they can't confront him until they have proof to show the others.

The conversation turns to what direction some of them want the yakuza to go. They don't want to be labeled villains, but they're also not interested in playing the hero. Unless of course, they come across another situation like they did back in spring.

Meanwhile, outside of the meeting, Tooru is giving Chisaki a creepy smile. "So, you got yourself a lady friend."

"Yeah."

"Well?" Tooru leans against the wall and smirks. Chibiki (He thinks that's what the guy's name is; He's never been good at remembering names), who is younger than him by a couple of years, is the only first lieutenant he can stand at these meetings, mainly because he keeps his distance, leaves him alone, and doesn't say or ask something stupid.

"Well, what?"

"He's wanting to know if she's hot." One of the first lieutenant's states.

Some asshole, he can't remember his name either says, "She's probably not that good looking, I mean how could he land a hot-" He's cut off when Chisaki thrusts the phone in the man's face. The guy splutters, "H-holy fuck."

The other men crowd around to get a good look.

"There's no way she's your girlfriend."

Chisaki smirks, changing the photo to their date at the festival, and shoves it in their face. "Oh yeah?" Normally he would keep his distance and ignore whatever they say, but this time around though he feels he needs to prove them wrong as well as show off his hot girlfriend. They also need to know who not to fuck with if they don't want to face his wrath. He only hopes that if they do happen across her they won't fill her in on the meaning behind the necklace. What he did was no better than her father setting up an arranged marriage. She'll understand if one of the reasons was for her protection right? He can only hope.

"Damn man. How did you manage to land her?"

Chisaki shrugs his shoulders and puts his phone back in his pocket. He pushes down the anxiety he's feeling from being close to them and steps away. He has to will the urge to use his quirks on the bastards away.

Tooru smiles. Those asshats are lucky he's not Chibiki, they'd be sporting broken noses and black eyes. He heads outside for a cigarette and invites Chibiki along.

"So, how long have you two been dating?" Tooru asks as he lights up his smoke.

"Why are you so interested in my love life?" Chisaki keeps his distance, so he doesn't have to breathe in the smoke. Tooru is considerate enough to blow it away from him.

"Listen, man, you need to lighten up a little."

"That's funny, coming from you."

Tooru chuckles, "You're right about that."

It's silent between the two. There's been something on Chisaki's mind and this man right here won't give him too much hell about his question. "What's it like, living a more peaceful life?"

"It's… nice. Babysitting is an interesting job. Got me to become more human. That's what Sugihara says anyway." Tooru inhales and then blows out the smoke. "Word on the street is you want to be called Overhill. What's up with that?"

"It's Overhaul and it's what I want my men to call me."

"Why are you recruiting your own men when there are already loyal ones there?"

"Those are Pops' men. I want my own that will do anything I say no questions asked."

Tooru just shrugs it off. It isn't any of his business. As long as it doesn't hurt his family he could care less. "Well, if you ever want any help taking out the trash Sugihara is more than willing to help. He loves digging holes." Tooru puts his smoke out in the ashtray. He chuckles thinking about all of the times he's sent his friend out in the middle of the night to dig holes. They head back in and somewhere far away Sugihara sneezes.

Back in the Meeting

The Boss says, "The yakuza are slowly becoming extinct. I want to turn away from the life of crime, for the most part. Taking protection money and betting on the fighting rings is good enough for me. I'll still do what I have to do to those who try to hurt the businesses I'm protecting and my family. Especially my family." At that last part, he looks Wakabayashi straight in the eye letting him know he knows he is up to something. "I want to do more for the community on my turf and show everyone we're not the bad guys they make us out to be."

Wakabayashi scoffs, "I still don't understand why you want to go in that direction."

Sakuragi puts in, "I've been doing exactly that, making the Sakuragi clan more honorable, for years now. I have a family and can't afford to be locked up and I don't want to see my men locked up either."

Wakabayashi whispers, "What a bunch of pussies."

"What was that?"

"Nothing. So, rumor has it that the Immortal Dragon, Tatsu, is back."

The Boss (I really should have made up a name for the guy), Wakabayashi, Sukaragi, and the other bosses listen in on the report from another boss.

"Yeah, one of my men saw him out grocery shopping along with that kid, what was his name…"

"Masa?"

"Yeah, that's right, Masa. He overheard Tatsu telling the kid, he quit the yakuza."

"Wouldn't have mattered, the Shinzaki group disbanded. We have a few of their former members."

"No shit. Anyway, he tailed them to see what they've been up to, and they led him to a cooking class."

"A cooking class?"

"Yeah, and that's not even the craziest part. He's a househusband now. He said he's protecting his family in his own way and that's without violence."

"What in the world."

"But when Masa flipped out on him, Tatsu knocked his ass out the window and smacked him around."

Everyone's jaws drop.

Outside of the room, the others discuss Tatsu.

"Legend has it he singlehandedly broke up ten rival factions in a single night unarmed!"

"Do you think it's true?"

"It's crazy since he doesn't have any quirks."

Chisaki scoffs, "What does being quirkless have to do with anything? You do realize that the demon, not even 5 feet from you, is quirkless as well, right?"

"He's nowhere near as scary as Tatsu though."

An evil smirk appears on Tooru's face. "Oh really?"

Soon a scuffle breaks out that has all of their bosses fuming. They're lucky they're not leaving there without a pinky.

Chisaki, angrily brushing dirt off of himself, growls, "I don't know what they expect when you jam-pack a bunch of men that are fighting to be top dog into a room. A fight is bound to break out."

Pops takes a curious glance at Chisaki. It's not like him to get remotely close enough to the other men to get caught in the crossfire. It's even more curious that he didn't use his quirk to put a stop to it.

Elsewhere

"So, you got sent to this world and almost got kidnapped by foot soldiers who were part of a sex trafficking ring a couple of years back?"

"Yeah, fought them to the best of my ability. I had no clue where I was, didn't understand the language here, and I could feel it in the air something was different." Lucy answers, as she sets the tea on the table and takes a seat.

"You could?" Fukuzawa questions.

"Yeah. It's not as heavily concentrated with Ethernano like Earthland. I can still use my magic to it's fullest, it just takes longer to restore my containers. This isn't the first time I've traveled to another world with different levels of Ethernano in the air. There was this one I got sent to, Edolas. Long story short, there was an evil king that needed to be taken down. He was dead set on having all of the magic to himself."

"Ethernano?"

"It's the source of magic power for all mages."

"Can anyone be a mage? Or is it like quirks that you have to wait to see if it manifests?"

"Anyone can be a mage; you just need to obtain the Ethernano. You do so by undergoing intense meditation to absorb it."

"Tell me more about your magic. The others seem like common quirks, fire, ice, lightning etc… But I don't think I ever heard of a quirk that is similar to Celestial Spirit Magic."

"Well," She summons her little doggy, "Say hi Plue!"

The wobbly dog lifts a hand, "Pun!"

"So cute!" Fukuzawa snatches Plue and holds him close snuggling him.

"I'm a celestial spirit mage meaning I can summon spirits with these keys." Lucy hands them to Fukuzawa. "There are silver and gold both representing constellations. The gold keys are the rarest because they represent the Zodiac."

"I always wanted to ask what these were for but felt it would be too rude." She hands the keys back to Lucy and continues to snuggle Plue.

"When people do ask, I just say they're something very sentimental that I don't ever want to be without, which isn't a lie. It still doesn't stop them from giving me looks like I'm a weirdo for carrying around a bunch of keys that to them don't do anything. There were a few who tried to steal them so they could sell them. That didn't end too well for them."

"I can imagine."

"Oh, I have a book I want to lend you. Virgo!"

Fukuzawa is startled by a pink-haired maid who shows up with a book in hand.

"Punishment Princess?" Virgo asks as she hands Lucy the book.

"P-P-punishment?" Fukuzawa squeaks out.

"No, Virgo." Lucy, embarrassed turns to her friend and holds out the book for her to take, "I'm sorry about her. It's one of her quirks, erm, peculiar traits."

Fukuzawa is extremely weirded out by Virgo asking for punishment. Fukuzawa takes the book and gives it a good look. "The Adventures of Iris by Lucy Heartfilia." She opens up the book and her eyes go wide. "Published in x793!?"

"Yeah, it's based on all of my adventures. I figured you could read that to get a better idea of what my world is like and if you have any questions, I'd gladly answer them."

"Thank you for trusting me with this. I promise I won't let any harm come to it."

The conversation veers to Chisaki. Fukuzawa is curious about the yakuza and what it's like dating a member.

Lucy explains that some clans are in the process of going in a different direction, the Shie Hassaikai being one of them. When they became closer, Jiji told her that they wanted to be out of the shadows and not hide underground anymore. A few clans disbanded because they refused to go in a different direction and continued with certain trades, leading to them getting arrested. Chisaki has been on the fence about it. He would like to bring the Shie Hassaikai back to its glory days. He feels that it's the best way to repay Jiji for taking him in. Both her and Jiji had to talk him out of it, there are better ways to go about it. Lucy has some ideas to help the Shie Hassaikai be painted in a better light like helping out the community on their turf more but has yet to bring it up.

She assures Fukuzawa that Jiji would not be mad about telling her this because he trusted her enough to help take down the sex trafficking ring.

When Fukuzawa asks how far she and Chisaki have gone, Lucy is a blushing mess as she tells her about their hot and heavy make-out session over a week ago. She's ready for more but she told Chisaki they could take it at his pace because his fear has held him back from being intimate. She's the first that he's been able to get close to without becoming a ball of anxiety and going into a tailspin.

Fukuzawa tells Lucy she's been wanting to give a relationship a try. She's worried about how one would react to her history though. She's also worried about not being able to find anyone because of the scar on her gets shy when Lucy suggests Kurono. Kurono had commented to Lucy one day about Fukuzawa and then gave him her number so they could chat and get to know each other better. He's shy until he gets to know the person and he's also super nice and funny, but he's three years younger than her. She promises Lucy she'll think about it.

About an hour later, she leaves Lucy's place and is surprised to see Kurono there waiting for her so he can make sure she makes it home safely. Lucy, that sneaky woman. She found a way to contact the man without her knowing.

Lucy meanwhile is discreetly looking out her window watching Kurono open the car door for Fukuzawa, a smile on both of their faces.

I can't control my mind

It's spinning out every time

It fuels my fire within

Why won't you let me in?

Godsmack – Soul On Fire

The goal was to have the month of the chapter posted in the same month in real-time. That didn't work out.

Doing some research, I learned that technically this is taking place during the year 2171. Which means Lucy arrived in the year 2169. Yeah, I am not going back and changing the years…

How do you feel about an OOC Kai Chisaki/Overhaul at the moment? How do you feel about this fic in general? Is there anything that could make it better?

Should I ditch song lyrics or keep them?

There was a comment by SusanVance1 before I deleted the original fic and started anew. It had given me an idea for something but for the life of me, I can't remember what. Susan, if you're reading this, do you remember any of the comments you left? I know one had to do with my original beginning, making it difficult to pair Natsu and Lucy at the end. Another pairing idea you gave was with Bickslow. I've been kicking myself in the ass for deleting the damn original instead of going back and editing the chapters. If not, no worries.
