Bittersweet Vengeance-Ch 18

Reid slipped into the bathroom and pulled Penelope's cell out to check her call log and messages and Sam had called her 75 times and had left 10 messages, he checked each message and they all said the same thing, "I LOVE YOU PENELOPE, DO YOU HEAR ME, I LOVE YOU, CALL ME".

Reid said, "that has to be it, it's the I love you, it has to be and so far she hasn't heard his command since last night so now all we need to do is keep her locked up somewhere for a few days so that she can't contact Sam but here we can't do that", he smiled and said, "I got it".

He sent a message to Derek and Dave and asked them to come to the bathroom, Derek walked in and said, "okay pretty boy, this is pretty creepy", Reid said, "I know what he's saying to her", Dave and Derek stood listening as Reid said, "I checked Garcia's cell, Sam has called her 75 times and left 10 messages/voicemails and they all said the same thing".

He let them listen as Sam said, "I LOVE YOU PENELOPE, DO YOU HEAR ME, I LOVE YOU, CALL ME", Dave said, "so what do we need to do now?", Reid said, "if his command isn't refreshed every 12 hours she'll start getting back to normal and so far she hasn't talked to him since 9 last night so it's been almost 18 hours".

Derek said, "so what do we do now?", Reid said, "we need to find this unsub and the sooner the better", Dave said, "and why is that?", Reid said, "because we are going to kidnap Penelope", Dave and Derek looked at each other and then at him and said, "WE'RE GONNA WHAT?', Reid said, "we're going to kidnap her and keep her away from Sam for a couple of weeks and hopefully break his hold on her".

Dave said, "I'm all for it, we have houses all over the world, we can take her anywhere but what if it doesn't work?", Reid said, "if it doesn't then we might lose her, we might lose her forever but at this point I think it's worth the risk", Derek said, "me too", Dave said, "yeah, me too".

Reid said, "we need to get out of here, I'll go first then you guys count to 50 and then one of you come out and then wait about a minute and then the other can come out, we can't let Penelope catch on, we might scare her off", Derek said, "you're right pretty boy", Derek and Dave stood watching as Reid walked out of the bathroom.

The rest of the day went really fast and they had a lucky break, Penelope had been able to pull up a camera that she hadn't been able to the day before and the team was able to follow the unsubs right to their hiding place, it was a complete and total surprise when they made entry into their hideout.

A couple of hours later they were working on paperwork so that they could get out of Colorado, they wanted to get to the jet and get airborne so that they could keep Penelope away from Sam, hopefully long enough to break the hold he had on her so that she could get her life back, the life she had before Sam tried to ruin everything.

JJ and Emily had gone back to the hotel and gotten their luggage and had it sent to the airstrip so that by the time they got there all they had to do was get onboard and then be enroute to anywhere that Sam wasn't.

When Hotch saw JJ and Emily walk back into the station he said, "alright, let's head home", Penelope nodded her head and said, "I need to get my cell from the hotel", JJ said, "our luggage is already on the jet, so it's there", Penelope smiled and said, "thanks Jayje", she said, "anytime Garcie, anytime".

A few minutes later they were sitting on the jet waiting to take off and once they were in the air and the fasten seatbelt sign went off Penelope said, "how long until we get home, I need to find my phone and call Sam".

Reid said, "we're not going home Garcia and I've had your cell this entire time", she said, "you, but, but why?", he said, "we love you Garcia and we're not letting you go back to Sam, not now", she said, "if we're not going back home, where are we going, what's happening?", JJ looked at her and said, "don't worry Garcie you won't be alone, you'll be with us".

Penelope said, "if we're not going home, what is going on?", Reid said, "WE'RE KIDNAPPING YOU GARCIA", her mouth flew open and she said, "YOU'RE WHAT?" in disbelief as she stood looking at her family wondering if she'd just heard what she thought she heard.
