Bittersweet Vengeance-Ch 19
Penelope said, "you didn't just say what I think you just said did you?", Reid said, "we're kidnapping you and keeping you away from Sam until his hold on you can be broken and you're back to your old self again", she said, "my old self, boy wonder what are you talking about?", he said, "do you realize that today is the first day since you came back that you've used our nicknames".
She said, "surely it's not", she looked around at their faces and said, "is it, is today the first day that I've used nicknames?", Derek said, "baby girl?", she looked at him and her eyes softened as she said, "hotstuff, what's going on, what's happening to me?", he reached out slowly and took her by the hand and led her over to the couch.
The rest of the team followed her and Derek said, "we're going to tell you what's going on but you have to stay calm okay?", she nodded her head and said, "okay", Reid said, "Sam kidnapped you, he had help but right now I've only got suspicions about who it was so I'm not going to mention names".
She listened on as he said, "we think he used scopolamine and hypnosis to keep you away from us and it took 5 months, 5 months for him to bring you back to us, so that tells us that you fought with everything you have in you to come back to us", Penelope said, "he wouldn't do that to me, would he?", Derek said, "the last time that you talked to Sam was 9 last night and I can already tell a big difference in you".
JJ said, "we're sorry that we had to do it this way but we can't lose you and this little one here" as she touched her stomach, he or she is innocent", Penelope put her hand on top of JJ's and said, "w w who's baby is this?", she looked at Derek and had tears streaming down her cheeks.
He wiped away the tears and said, "we think that this baby is mine, we think that you were pregnant when you left but didn't know", she said, "s s so that means tha slept with Sam, I I I cheated on you them, that's what you're saying?", Derek said, "nothing that you've done for the past several months was of your doing, you were under his power sweetness".
She jumped up and ran to the back of the jet where the bathroom was saying over and over, "I'm going to be sick, I'm going to be sick", JJ and Emily were right behind her, they didn't want her to be all alone, they knew that right now she would definitely need her family, her true family, not Sam's made up version of one.
Derek said, "when I get my hands on Sam and whoever it was that helped him I'm going to break them in half", Reid said, "right now we need to make sure that both Penelope and the baby are safe, we can worry about Sam and his accomplice later", the men all nodded their heads yes in agreement.
Dave said, "kitten was really out of it, she was so out of it that she didn't notice that this was the Rossi jet and not the FBI's", Hotch said, "she's been through so much, I just hope that she's able to recover from all of this", Derek said, "with our help she will", they nodded their heads in agreement as they sat waiting for the women to rejoin them.
Reid said, "one we get to our destination what are we going to do about the boys, Fran, Sarah and Desi?", Dave said, "I'll call Fran and let her know what's going on so that she can get everybody together, then I'll send the jet back for them so that they too can join us".
Derek said, "since he hasn't heard from Penelope in over 24 hours he's got to be going crazy so I look to hear from Strauss soon", Dave said, "if that happens I'll talk to her, I can make her understand what's going on", Hotch said, "I hope it doesn't come to that but chances are it might", Dave said, "if it does I'll handle it".
The men glanced to the back of the jet and saw the trio of women coming back to join them, when they got seated Penelope said, "I just realized this isn't the FBI jet, it's yours papa bear", he said, "that it is kitten, that it is, so how about we just sit back and relax and then in a few hours we'll be to our temporary home".
Penelope said, "and where is that?", he said, "my villa in Hawaii", Penelope said, "Hawaii, niceeeee", she then looked at Derek and said, "if I hurt you handsome, I am so so sorry", he said, "you've got nothing to be sorry about goddess", she then scooted closer to him and laid her head down on his chest.
It didn't take long before a soft snore was coming from a very physically and mentally exhausted Penelope Grace Garcia, the team then all sat back to relax and enjoy their flight because they knew that all too soon they would arrive in Hawaii and then once the rest of their family joined them, then and only then could their healing as a family truly begin.
