The ground trembled as Sachiel, the Third Angel, rampaged through the city, its unstoppable advance tearing through Tokyo-3's defenses. Explosions echoed through the urban landscape as the Evangelions—towering, biomechanical weapons of war—engaged the behemoth. But despite their efforts, Unit 01 was faltering. Shinji Ikari, the pilot, strained to maintain control, but the Angel's brutal onslaught was overwhelming.

Inside NERV Headquarters, tension filled the command room. Gendo Ikari, ever calm and composed, sat with his steepled fingers, eyes fixed on the screen displaying the battle.

"Unit 01's not responding well," Shigeru Aoba muttered, furiously typing into his console, hoping to reestablish full sync with the Evangelion. Ritsuko Akagi, standing behind him, adjusted her glasses.

"At this rate, it won't matter. Sachiel will destroy Unit 01 and then move onto the city," she said, her voice grim.

Misato Katsuragi paced back and forth, her fists clenched in frustration. "There has to be something more we can do! We can't just sit here while that thing wrecks everything!"

Kouzou Fuyutsuki, standing near Gendo, watched as Sachiel loomed over the downed Unit 01. "Gendo, if we don't act soon, there won't be a chance to recover."

Gendo's expression remained unreadable, but there was a flicker of something in his eyes—calculation, perhaps. Then he spoke, breaking the tension. "I have an idea. But it will alter the course of everything."

Everyone turned to him. Ryoji Kaji leaned against a console, watching Gendo with casual interest, while Makoto Hyûga's fingers hovered over the control panel, waiting for orders.

"What do you mean?" Misato asked, her tone urgent. "What are you planning?"

"If we continue as we are, we lose. Humanity's future depends on the success of the Human Instrumentality Project. However, to buy us time, we may need external intervention. Something...different."

Before anyone could question him further, alarms blared. Sachiel had raised its spear-like arm, ready to deliver a final blow to Unit 01. But before the Angel could strike, a barrage of missiles struck its back, exploding in a blinding flash of light.

"What's happening?!" Ritsuko asked, looking at the tactical displays.

Up in the sky, two U.S. Air Force jets roared into view. Between them was a third entity, descending rapidly—something massive. As it approached, its form became clearer: a colossal robot, vaguely resembling Godzilla in its armored design, bristling with weapons.

"What the hell is that?" Aoba asked, eyes wide as the massive machine slammed into Sachiel, sending the Angel crashing into the ground with a thunderous impact. Dust and debris flew everywhere as the robotic titan stood, casting a long shadow over the battlefield.

On the robot's shoulder was a flag—boldly displaying the stars and stripes of the United States.

The room fell silent for a moment as the awe of the scene sank in.

"A U.S. weapon?" Misato muttered in disbelief.

Gendo smirked slightly, as if anticipating the arrival. "The Americans have been developing their own weapons in secret. That is their ace—an autonomous combat unit codenamed Godslayer."

The giant robot turned its attention to Unit 01 for a brief moment, its glowing eyes locking onto the downed Evangelion. Then, as if recognizing its ally, it refocused on Sachiel, which was already starting to rise again, its AT Field shimmering into place.

"It's holding Sachiel back," Hyûga observed, watching the tactical readout. "But for how long?"

Kaji crossed his arms, a grin playing at his lips. "Seems like the Americans brought in something big. But what's the catch?"

Gendo's gaze hardened. "The catch is that this changes the timeline of our plan. The U.S. won't hand over this weapon lightly. We may need to...adjust our approach to Human Instrumentality. But for now, this buys us time."

Outside, Godslayer charged at Sachiel again, its massive frame moving with surprising speed. With a mechanical roar, it unleashed a flurry of rockets, plasma beams, and railgun fire at the Angel, tearing through its AT Field. Sachiel reeled, its form faltering as the onslaught continued.

In the cockpit of Unit 01, Shinji could only watch, stunned. "What...is that?"

Misato, looking at the battle on the screen, shook her head. "Something that shouldn't exist."

The massive robot grabbed Sachiel by its arm and, with a tremendous heave, slammed the Angel into the ground, causing the earth to shake. But even this wasn't enough to finish it off. Sachiel, relentless, regenerated its damaged parts and retaliated, energy beams firing from its core.

As the battle between these titans raged on, Gendo rose from his seat.

"This is just the beginning. Humanity's fate will be decided by more than just our Evangelions. We must control the course of this war...or we risk losing everything."

Everyone knew that something fundamental had shifted. With the arrival of this mysterious weapon, the delicate balance between NERV, SEELE, and the rest of the world was on the verge of collapsing. And as the battle outside intensified, so too did the stakes for humanity's future.
