Filler Chapter mostly till they enter Gringotts.
As they took a break at a cozy tea shop, Harry excused himself, cradling the cat in his arms. "I'll be right back, I need to pick up a few things for my room."
Ron raised an eyebrow. "What kind of things?"
Harry smiled mischievously. "Just some paints and decorations. I want to make my room feel more like home."
Hermione nodded. "That sounds like a great idea, Harry. We'll wait here and enjoy our tea."
Ginny grinned. "And maybe some treacle fudge?"
Harry chuckled. "You know it. I'll be back soon."
With the cat still purring contentedly in his arms, Harry made his way to the nearby art supply shop. He carefully selected a variety of paints, brushes, and canvases, envisioning the vibrant colors and artwork that would soon adorn his room.
Next, he visited a nearby home goods shop, picking out a few cozy throw blankets, a plush rug, and some warm lighting fixtures.
As he returned to the tea shop, the cat peeking out from between his arms, Ron asked, "How's the decorating going to go?"
Harry smiled, setting the cat down on the table. "I think it's going to be great. I can already picture it."
Hermione leaned in, curious. "What's the theme going to be?"
Harry's eyes sparkled. "I'm thinking a mix of Gryffindor colors and some magical creatures. It'll be amazing."
As Hermione finished her shopping and went to wait with Ron and Ginny, Harry continued to browse the shelves, his eyes scanning the vast selection of books. The cat, still cradled in his arm, seemed to be enjoying the shopping trip, purring contentedly as Harry picked up book after book.
"Ah, 'The Art of Transfiguration'! I've been looking for this one," Harry exclaimed, placing the book in his trunk.
Next, he selected "The Complete Guide to Charms" and "Magical Theory and Practice". The cat, seemingly approving of Harry's choices, reached out a paw to touch the spine of "Advanced Defensive Magic".
Harry chuckled. "You like that one, don't you?"
He continued to add to his collection, picking up "The Wizard's Guide to Herbology" and "Magical Creatures of the British Isles". The cat purred louder, as if encouraging Harry to keep shopping.
As his trunk grew heavier with books, Harry showed no signs of slowing down. "Ah, 'The History of Hogwarts'! I've always wanted to read this one."
The cat beamed, seeming to share Harry's excitement. Ron, Ginny, and Hermione watched in amazement as Harry's trunk became increasingly laden with books.
"Harry, how are you going to carry all those?" Ron asked, laughing.
Harry grinned. "Don't worry, I've got it under control."
The cat, now nestled comfortably in Harry's arm, seemed to agree, purring softly as Harry closed his trunk, finally satisfied with his purchases.
As Harry continued his shopping spree, he began to focus on books for future classes at Hogwarts, covering every subject imaginable. The cat, still cradled in his arm, watched with interest as Harry's trunk grew heavier and heavier.
"Ah, 'Divination for Beginners'! I've heard that's a tough class," Harry said, placing the book in his trunk.
Next, he picked up "Arithmancy: A Guide to Magical Numbers" and "Ancient Runes: A Comprehensive Guide". The cat reached out a paw to touch the spine of "Care of Magical Creatures: A Guide to Handling and Care".
Hermione, watching from a distance, exclaimed, "Harry, you're buying books for every class! How will you carry them all?"
Harry grinned. "I'll manage, don't worry."
Ron chuckled. "You're going to need a bigger trunk, mate."
Harry just laughed, continuing to add to his collection. He picked up "Transfiguration: An Advanced Guide", "Potions: A Comprehensive Guide to Advanced Potions", and "Charms: A Guide to Complex Charms".
Ginny joked, "Harry, you're going to single-handedly keep the bookstore in business."
Harry smiled, placing "Magical Theory and Practice: An Advanced Guide" in his trunk. "I just want to be prepared, that's all."
The cat, seemingly approving of Harry's dedication, purred contentedly in his arm, as if to say, "You can never have too many books."
As Harry finally finished his shopping spree, the shopkeeper beamed with joy, ringing up the massive total on his cash register. "Well, well, well! Looks like we've got a true book lover here!" he exclaimed, eyeing the towering stack of books.
Harry smiled, handing over his gold coins to pay the bill. "I just like to be prepared, that's all."
The shopkeeper's eyes widened as he took in the large sum of money. "Thank you, thank you! You've made my day, young man!"
As Harry's friends helped him load the books into his trunk, Ron asked, "Harry, how are you going to fit all these books in here?"
Harry chuckled. "No problem, my trunk is infinitely expanded."
Hermione's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? How does that work?"
Harry shrugged. "I'm not entirely sure, but it's a family heirloom. Let's just say it's got plenty of room for all my books."
Ginny grinned. "Well, that's definitely convenient."
The shopkeeper, still smiling, patted Harry's trunk. "Well, you've certainly got the perfect trunk for a bookworm like yourself. Come back soon, Harry!"
Harry smiled, closing his trunk. "I will, thanks."
As they left Flourish and Blotts, Harry and his friends made their way to Ollivanders, the renowned wand shop. Upon entering, Harry was greeted warmly by Mr. Ollivander himself.
"Ah, Harry Potter! It's an absolute pleasure to see you again!" Mr. Ollivander exclaimed, his eyes twinkling with delight.
"The pleasure's mine, Mr. Ollivander," Harry replied, smiling. "I've brought my friends here to pick out their wands."
As Hermione began to browse the wand selection, Harry and Mr. Ollivander engaged in a lively conversation about wand lore. "I've been studying the properties of different woods and cores," Harry said, his eyes shining with enthusiasm.
"Ah, an excellent pursuit, Harry!" Mr. Ollivander replied. "The right wand can make all the difference in a wizard's magic."
Meanwhile, Hermione tried out several wands, finally finding the perfect one. "This one feels right," she said, holding up a sleek, ash wood wand with a unicorn hair core.
Mr. Ollivander beamed. "An excellent choice, my dear! You have a keen sense of magic."
After paying for the wand, the group left Ollivanders and made their way to the Leaky Cauldron, eager to relax and unwind after a busy day of shopping.
"Well, that was a success," Ron said, clapping Harry on the back.
"Definitely," Harry agreed. "Now, let's get some Butterbeers and celebrate!"
As they entered the Leaky Cauldron, Harry and his friends were greeted by the warm, welcoming atmosphere of the wizarding pub. They spotted Mrs. Tucker and Hermione's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Granger, already seated at a table, sipping Butterbeers.
"Harry, dear! Over here!" Mrs. Tucker called out, waving him over.
Harry and his friends made their way to the table, exchanging warm greetings with the Grangers and Mrs. Tucker. "How was your shopping trip?" Mrs. Granger asked, smiling.
"It was great, thanks," Hermione replied. "I found the perfect wand."
Mrs. Tucker beamed. "I'm so proud of you, Hermione! You're growing up to be a talented witch."
As they chatted, they all enjoyed a round of Butterbeers, savoring the sweet, creamy flavor. Ron, always up for a laugh, regaled the group with stories of their misadventures at Diagon Alley.
After a while, the Grangers finished their drinks and prepared to leave. "We should get going," Mr. Granger said, glancing at his watch. "It's getting late."
Hermione hugged her parents goodbye. "Thanks for meeting us, Mum and Dad. I'll write you soon."
"Take care, dear," Mrs. Granger replied. "We'll see you soon."
Mrs. Tucker added, "And don't forget to visit me soon, Hermione! I want to hear all about your Hogwarts adventures."
As the Grangers departed, Mrs. Tucker smiled. "Well, that was lovely. I'm so glad we could meet up."
As the evening wore on, Ron's exhaustion from the day's shopping began to catch up with him. Mrs. Tucker noticed his drooping eyelids and said, "Ron, dear, it's getting late. You should probably get going, shouldn't you?"
Ron nodded, yawning. "Yeah, I should. Dad will kill me if I don't get home and take my potions."
Harry, Ginny, and Mrs. Tucker stood up to bid Ron farewell. "We'll see you soon, Ron," Harry said, clapping his friend on the back.
"Yeah, get some rest," Ginny added.
Mrs. Tucker smiled. "And don't forget to take care of yourself, Ron. You've had a big day."
Ron nodded, making his way to the fireplace. "I will, thanks. See you all later."
With a final wave, Ron stepped into the fireplace and disappeared in a puff of smoke, leaving Harry, Ginny, and Mrs. Tucker to wave goodbye.
"Well, that was a big day," Mrs. Tucker said, smiling.
Harry nodded. "Definitely. But it was worth it to see Ron's face when he found that Quidditch book."
Ginny chuckled. "Yeah, that was priceless."
After Ron's departure, Mrs. Tucker turned to Harry with a determined look on her face. "Now, Harry, let's go to Gringotts. It's time to make you the heir of the Fawcett and Silvermist estates."
Harry's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? I'm not sure I'm ready for that, Mrs. Tucker."
Mrs. Tucker smiled. "Nonsense, Harry! You're more than ready. You're the rightful heir, and it's time to claim your inheritance."
Ginny looked curious. "What does that mean, Mrs. Tucker?"
Mrs. Tucker explained, "It means, dear, that Harry will have control over the Fawcett and Silvermist properties, including the wealth and assets that come with them."
Harry felt a surge of excitement mixed with trepidation. "I don't know, Mrs. Tucker. This is a lot of responsibility."
Mrs. Tucker's expression turned stern. "Harry, you're a capable young wizard. I have no doubt you'll manage the estates wisely. Now, let's go to Gringotts and get the paperwork started."
With that, Mrs. Tucker led Harry and Ginny out of the Leaky Cauldron and towards the wizarding bank, Gringotts, to begin the process of making Harry the heir to the Fawcett and Silvermist estates.
As they entered Gringotts, Harry was immediately greeted with a warm welcome. The goblins, recognizing him as a friend of the Goblin Nation, bowed their heads in respect. Griphook and Gripnick, two familiar faces, were already seated in the private room, awaiting their arrival.
"Ah, Harry Potter! Welcome, welcome!" Griphook exclaimed, as Gripnick nodded in agreement.
Just then, the bank manager, Bagnod, entered the room. Harry bowed respectfully and said, "May your vaults remain full."
Bagnod smiled, pleased with the traditional greeting. "Ah, Harry Potter, always respectful. Very well, let us proceed with the matter at hand."
Griphook explained, "We need to verify Harry's inheritance, so we will conduct the traditional test."
Bagnod nodded, producing a small, delicate vial and a special parchment. "Yes, the Blood Test of Inheritance. Please, Harry, give us a small sample of your blood."
Harry hesitated for a moment, then pricked his finger with a small needle, allowing a drop of blood to fall onto the parchment. The parchment began to glow, and the goblins nodded in unison.
As the blood droplet absorbed into the parchment, words began to appear, forming a family line. Harry's name materialized first, followed by his parents' names, James and Lily Potter.
"Ah, the family line is revealing itself," Bagnod said, eyes fixed on the parchment.
Griphook nodded, "Yes, it will show all the direct descendants and their relationships."
As they watched, more names appeared, connecting to Harry's parents, and then to their parents, and so on. The family line expanded, branching out in various directions, filling the parchment with a complex web of relationships.
"Wow, it's huge!" Ginny exclaimed, gazing at the parchment in awe.
Mrs. Tucker smiled, "Yes, the Fawcett and Silvermist families have a long and storied history."
The goblins waited patiently, allowing the parchment to complete the family line. Finally, after several minutes, the last name appeared, and the parchment glowed softly.
"Ah, it is complete," Bagnod said, nodding in satisfaction.
The goblins nodded in unison, Griphook explaining, "We only perform this test for friends of the Goblin Nation, those we deem worthy of our trust."
Bagnod's eyes widened as he began to study the family line, his expression shocked. "By the ancient laws of magic...it cannot be!"
"What is it, Bagnod?" Mrs. Tucker asked, curiosity etched on her face.
Bagnod's voice trembled, "Harry Potter, your mother, Lily, was a direct descendant of the Smiths and the Graces. The Smith line is a direct descendant of the Hufflepuff line, making you the direct heir of Helga Hufflepuff herself!"
Harry's eyes widened in awe, Ginny gasping beside him.
Bagnod continued, "And the Grace line is a direct descendant of the Ravenclaw line, making you the direct heir of Rowena Ravenclaw as well!"
The room fell silent, the weight of Bagnod's words sinking in.
Griphook nodded, "And, as we knew, the Grace line is also connected to the Fawcetts and Silvermists, solidifying your claim to those estates."
Bagnod's eyes locked onto Harry's, "You, Harry Potter, are the direct heir of not one, but two of the four Hogwarts founders. Your legacy is unprecedented!"
Bagnod's eyes widened even further as he delved into Harry's paternal family line. "And now, the paternal side...James Potter, your father, was the son of Charles Potter and Dorea Potter née Black."
Griphook nodded, "Yes, making Harry connected to the esteemed House of Black."
Bagnod continued, "Indeed, this extends Harry's connections to the pureblood lines of Greengrass, Avery, Malfoy, Lestrange, Tonks, and many more, albeit indirectly and distantly, through his grandmother's side."
Mrs. Tucker's eyes sparkled with interest, "Fascinating! The web of pureblood connections is vast, indeed."
Bagnod cautioned, "However, Harry cannot claim Black Family heirship, as the first candidate to it is Draco Malfoy...unless the Black Family head transfers everything to Harry, which is currently impossible, given the vacant state of the post."
Ginny whispered, "Wow, Harry, you're connected to so many pureblood lines!"
Harry's mind reeled, trying to comprehend the sheer scope of his family's history and connections. "I had no idea," he said, awestruck.
Bagnod's eyes widened even further as he delved into Harry's inheritance from his grandfather's side. "And now, the Potters...descendants of the Peverells, a paternally extinct family, making Harry the direct heir of Ignotius Peverell and indirectly his brothers, Antioch and Cadmus Peverell."
Griphook nodded, "Yes, a significant connection, indeed."
Bagnod continued, "This makes Harry indirectly connected to the Gaunts, whose line ended with...well, a certain someone. And, as you know, the Gaunts were direct descendants of Salazar Slytherin."
Mrs. Tucker's eyes sparkled, "Fascinating! With no other claimants, Harry is indirectly the heir of the Gaunts and Salazar Slytherin."
Bagnod paused, taking a deep breath before revealing more, "But that's not all...the Potter line is also connected to the Kanes, who are indeed connected to the Flamels. And the Kanes were descendants of the Haults, related to Syphrena, a wind elf, and the Barolds, connected to Feanor, a fire elf, and the Wanes, connected to Elowynn, a forest elf."
Ginny's eyes widened, "That's incredible!"
Bagnod went on, "The Wanes were also connected to Kelpie, a sea elf, who married Berman Gryffindor, giving birth to Pernell Wane. Therefore, making Harry a descendant of the Gryffindors and direct heir of Godric Gryffindor."
Harry's mind reeled, trying to comprehend the sheer scope of his family's history and connections.
Bagnod concluded, "And, above all, Gryffindor was heir to Merlin itself...making Harry the heir and direct descendant of Merlin."
Bagnod's voice filled with awe, "Harry Potter, you are the heir of all four founders of Hogwarts: Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Helga Hufflepuff, and Rowena Ravenclaw."
Griphook nodded, "And, as we've established, you are also the heir of Merlin himself."
Bagnod continued, "Furthermore, you are connected to the four types of high elves, also known as elemental elves: the wind elf, Syphrena; the fire elf, Feanor; the forest elf, Elowynn; and the sea elf, Kelpie."
Mrs. Tucker added, "And, of course, you are the heir of the Gaunts, Peverells, Potters, Fawcetts, and Silvermists."
Bagnod summarized, "In total, Harry, you inherit 13 vaults, 12 main properties, and numerous small villas and flats in various countries, including Italy, France, Spain, and Greece."
Ginny exclaimed, "That's incredible, Harry!"
Bagnod cautioned, "And, if the Flamels do not have any heirs, you will also inherit their estate, making you the heir of 11 families and four elf tribes."
Harry's eyes widened, trying to comprehend the sheer scope of his inheritance. "I...I don't know what to say," he stammered.
Mrs. Tucker smiled, "You don't need to say anything, Harry. You are the rightful heir to these families and their legacy."
Harry shook his head, "I don't know if I can accept all of this. It's too much."
Bagnod's expression turned stern, "If you deny these heirships, Harry Potter, the legacy of these respectable families will come to a dead end. You are the last hope for many of these lines."
Griphook added, "You have a responsibility to these families, Harry. You cannot turn your back on them."
Mrs. Tucker placed a gentle hand on Harry's shoulder, "Harry, dear, you have to accept this. It's your destiny."
Ginny nodded in agreement, "Yes, Harry, you have to do this. You can't let these families' legacies die out."
Harry sighed, finally relenting, "Fine...I'll accept it. But I want to keep it a secret until necessary. Except for the Weasleys, I trust them."
Bagnod nodded, "Very well, Harry Potter. We will keep your secret. But remember, with great power comes great responsibility."
Griphook added, "We will help you manage your inheritances, Harry. You will not be alone in this."
Mrs. Tucker smiled, "And we'll be here to support you every step of the way, Harry."
The goblins handed Harry a stack of catalogues, each detailing the assets and properties of the families he had inherited. Bagnod explained, "These catalogues contain the entirety of your inheritance, Harry Potter. You now hold the keys to the fortunes of the Potters, Gaunts, Peverells, Fawcetts, Silvermists, and more."
Griphook added, "And, Harry Potter, you are now the richest wizard alive. Your net worth is immeasurable."
Mrs. Tucker's eyes sparkled, "And it's not just the wizarding world, Harry. Some of these families have assets in the Muggle world, too."
Ginny's eyes widened, "Like what?"
Bagnod smiled, "Ah, yes. The Gaunts, for example, have a significant stake in Apple. The Peverells own a large portion of Coca Cola. And the Fawcetts have a controlling interest in McDonald's."
Harry's eyes grew wide as the goblins listed more companies: Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and many others.
Griphook concluded, "You, Harry Potter, are now a major player in both the wizarding and Muggle worlds."
Mrs. Tucker cautioned, "Remember, Harry, with great power comes great responsibility. Use your wealth and influence wisely."
Ginny grinned, "And don't forget, Harry, you can always use some of that wealth to help others. You're not just a wizard, you're a force for good."
Harry asked, "How were these assets managed before I inherited them?"
Bagnod replied, "In the absence of an heir, we goblins managed them ourselves, ensuring their growth and security."
Harry nodded thoughtfully, "I see. Well, I'd like to meet the account managers for each of the families."
Griphook stepped forward, "I am the Potter account manager, Harry Potter."
Gripnick followed, "And I am the account manager for the Fawcett and Silvermist families."
More goblins arrived, each introducing themselves as account managers for the other families: Gaunt, Peverell, and more.
Harry smiled, "Excellent. I'd like you all to collaborate and manage my accounts and assets together."
Griphook nodded, "Of course, Harry Potter. We will work together to ensure your wealth and legacy continue to grow."
Gripnick added, "We will provide you with regular updates and seek your approval for any major decisions."
Harry agreed, "Sounds good. Let's get started."
Bagnod smiled, "We will make sure everything runs smoothly, Harry Potter. You can trust us."
Mrs. Tucker and Ginny exchanged a look, both thinking that Harry was in good hands with the goblins.
Ginny asked, "Harry, is there a will from your parents?"
Harry turned to the goblins, "Do you know if my parents left a will?"
Bagnod's eyes glazed over, and he stiffened, as if under a compulsion charm. Harry quickly helped him sit down, concerned.
After a moment, Bagnod recovered, his eyes focusing again. "Ah, yes...the will of James and Lily Potter...it exists."
Ginny's eyes widened, "Really? Why didn't you mention it earlier?"
Bagnod's expression turned grim, "A dark magic compulsion charm was placed upon me...preventing me from revealing its existence."
Harry's eyes narrowed, "Who could have done such a thing?"
Bagnod stood, "I will retrieve the will...but there is a problem." He returned with a parchment sealed by intricate runes and charms.
The cat on Harry's lap hissed, then settled back into a peaceful nap.
Bagnod apologized, "I'm afraid the will is sealed by a combination of dark magic and powerful charms. We will need time to break the seal and make the will available to you, Harry."
Griphook added, "We will work tirelessly to overcome this obstacle, Harry Potter. Please be patient."
Harry nodded, "I understand. Take your time, I want it done safely."
Bagnod smiled, "Thank you, Harry Potter. Now, let us proceed to your Trust Vault and collect some gold for your immediate needs."
The group made their way to the vault, filled with glittering treasure. Griphook handed Harry a small chest, "This should suffice for now, Harry Potter."
Harry took the chest, feeling a sense of wonder at his newfound wealth. "Thank you, Griphook. I won't forget your help."
Bagnod bowed, "It is our honor to serve you, Harry Potter. May your future be bright."
Ginny smiled, "We'll be back soon, to check on the will and everything else."
Mrs. Tucker added, "And don't worry, Harry, we'll help you manage all of this. You're not alone."
With their farewells said, the group left Gringotts, entering the bustling streets of Diagon Alley. Harry felt a sense of excitement and trepidation, knowing his life would never be the same.
