Story Start!
There was not a single person who wouldn't be nervous.
Standing in front of the Orange Office building for the #2 Hero that took the world by storm, and shattered people's expectations for what a new hero should do. A man who became a living legend in as little as half a year, and shot up to the top of the charts through the sheer number of incidents he solved and people he helped nearly every day.
Ochaco Uraraka.
Tsuyu Asui.
Kyoka Jiro.
Momo Yaoyorozu.
The 4 UA students that were given recomendations from the number 2 hero, and actually accepted the invite to intern under him during their short internship. Each of them were dressed in their UA school uniforms, with their hero costumes in brief cases in front of them. Nobody had expected anyone in the class but the top of the top students to get a request from a hero like this one, but for some reason almost 7 students in the class got the request, and though only 4 of them accepted... there were many jealous students in their class.
"Do... do we knock on the front door-EEEP!" Jiro yelped when the door opened.
5 yellow flashes of light burst out of the front door and were gone just as quickly as they came. The legendary speed that solved countless crimes in mere moments. There was a pause as they all looked around to see where the flashes went, but they were already long gone, vanished to the point they would be impossible to track.
If the rumors were true, those yellow flashes could be anywhere in Japan by now.
"So... do we go in now?" Ochaco slapped her cheek, before she put her best bubbly smile and locked eyes with her fellow heroines.
"You know, it's kind of weird to just stand out here staring at the building. Come in, come in, make yourselves at home." Naruto walked by them with a cup of instant ramen in his hands. He sensed his clones had scattered across Japan by this point, so he could give the girls a tour of the building. He looked at the 4. "... Hmmmm... I thought 7 students got invites." Naruto didn't see the invisible girl among them, or the girl with pink skin. He also didn't see the guy with glasses and engines in his legs, the only male student that Naruto sent an invite too.
"You-EEP!" Naruto grabbed Jiro with one hand and threw her over his shoulder, before he started to walk towards his office.
"Come on, even if only half of you accepted the offer, I'll still give you a good learning experience. Come on." Naruto walked right into the building he owned. His humble office space, and the inside of the building was painted a dark shade of green and tons of potted plants were all in the entrance to the building.
It smelled like a forest.
His slice of Konoha away from Konoha, with a dense green and lots of plant smells. It was his way to stay connected to his roots. The other students walked behind him, while Jiro hung limp right over his shoulder.
"Woah... it's so green." Tsuyu whispered.
She felt right at home in the office, and she heard the sounds of frogs all over the place. She saw aquariums that were filled with frogs and toads, all kept in good condition. There were also tons of potted plants all over the place. The entire entrance just felt like it belonged in nature, and not in an office building.
"Sir... can you let me down... my skirt isn't the longest." Jiro whispered when she finally couldn't handle it anymore.
Naruto dropped her on her feet.
"Okay then, follow me and we'll head to Shikamaru's office." Naruto stated.
There was a beep.
"No, do not bring them to my office. I'm busy with paperwork, your clones have already completed 11 rescues today, and I don't have the time to babysit."
"Lazy bastard... well, I guess we're heading to my office then. You have 15 minutes to get changed into your hero uniforms, and find which room in the building is my office." Naruto stated as he clapped his hands together.
He vanished in a puff of smoke.
-In Naruto's Office-
It had been 8 minutes before the first of the girls opened the door to his office and ran in.
"I made it... I was the first one, how much time do I have left?" Jiro had cheated a little and used her quirk to listen to the sound of footsteps in the building, as well as other noises she could pinpoint. She had ended up finding where Naruto was after searching. She was the first of the girls to show up, but it didn't take long for Momo to show up after her.
"Found it. Tsuyu-san, Ochaco-san, his office is on the top floor, 2nd floor, the 5th door on the right." Momo stated into a small device in her hand. It wasn't a phone, and she didn't have it on her.
Also, her costume was SUPER revealing.
Naruto whistled.
"It isn't orange, but red is pretty nice too." Naruto knew a lot of heroes had costumes that fit their personalities and quirks, so she was either somebody with a quirk that required exposed skin, or she just liked to look sexy. She could also be a pragmatic person with a quirk that would destroy her clothes if she used it. There were plenty of explanations for her quirk, he hadn't paid super close attention to actually watching the students.
Other than the boy with engines fight, and get humiliated, by the geek girl.
That was funny.
"Thank you sir... orange... aren't you going to get changed into your hero costume, you seem to be wearing streeth clothes?" Momo was confused by the random mention of the color of her outfit. He was just slurping up his 3rd cup of ramen though, and didn't answer her question. He looked and saw Jiro regaining her breath, right when the other two students came into the room.
"Ah, nice, frog girl and... I don't know what to call that kind of outfit, but I like it. I give all your outfits a 7/10, total passing scores." Naruto gave each and every one of them a thumbs up. He pressed a button on his desk, and a timer stopped. "... but it took 11 minutes for you all to get here, which was way too long. You should have taken less than 10." Naruto was going to take this somewhat seriously.
Also, he was sad.
None of the girls had orange hero costumes, which sucked because he only sent out requested to the girls because their cheerleading outfits had been orange, and they looked good in orange. Still, each of their costumes at least fit them and matched the themes they were going for.
"This was a test?" Ochako asked as she stood up straight.
Tsuyu was on all fours like a frog, before standing over with a hunch, her hands raised awkwardly. Among the girls, she had the most obvious... well the second most obvious quirk. Ochako had little bumps on her fingers, and Jiro's ears were super obvious in what her quirk was, and Tsuyu had looks similar to a frog.
"Yep, and to answer your question Momo, I am in my hero clothes. I haven't met a villain who was capable of really matching me, so street clothes are fine. When I transform, my outfit changes shape anyway." Naruto transformed right into his Six Paths Sage Mode as golden flames consumed his flesh, and his outfit changed. He went from street clothes into a flaming cover of of an outfit, with a cloak appearing from nowhere.
He powered down.
"Thank you for accepting us are your interns sir! It is an honor to study under you!" Ochako shouted when she realized that she had yet to thank him. She wasn't the only one to bow, the other girls bowed with her.
Naruto picked up an empty ramen cup and tossed it at her, bouncing it off her head and landing right into the trash.
"I'm 19, I'm only a few years older than you 4. Don't call me sir, at most, you can call me Naruto-senpai. Lets go to the training room, and when we're there, we'll see what you're made of. Momo, you can go first." Naruto stated as he vanished.
The message was clear.
Find the training room.
-In the Training Room-
BOOM*
Momo had created a cannon, a powerful cannon, and launched it right at Naruto's face.
The training to "find out what they could do" was literally just Naruto having them hit the palm of his hand with their strongest attack. Jiro had launched a powerful sound wave at him, but he remained unaffected by it. Ochako punched his hand, and Tsuyu gave him her fastest and strongest kick that she could manage.
Momo flashed her tits at him though.
That distracted him, he would be honest, she had a nice big pair of breasts. He hadn't expected her to flash the goods at him, but more unexpected was the reason she flashed him was so that she could create a cannon out of her body without ripping her hero uniform. She closed her uniform back up as soon as she spawned the cannon, and shot a cannonball right at him.
He caught it bare handed, and redirected it, throwing it back into the cannon she created.
"Okay, of the quirks here, yours is the strongest." Naruto shook his hand. Even with his strength, taking a cannonball to the palm was like getting a really powerful high five. It didn't break anything, and it didn't hurt, but it did leave behind a stinging sensation. The cannon he launched the ball into had been sent flying into the wall of the training room. "I think I've got a pretty good read of your levels now." Naruto had taken each attack to the palm of his hand.
None of them were super impressive.
Most of them had moderately low strength abilities, but decently good speed and technique. Tsuyu was the fastest, so her kick packed a good punch to it. She and Ochako were close range fighters, while Jiro was a long range one, and with Momo's physical abilities and quirk she could settle into any type of role you put in front of her.
"So... are you impressed?" Ochako asked with a bubbly smile.
"I'm impressed with her, the rest of you were kind of average, still, good enough to be heroes and not just side kicks. My best suggestion for all of you is to get really good at teamwork, and find people who can cover your weaknesses. Each of your quirks is more suited to teamwork."
They looked down to hear that.
Naruto coughed into his hand.
"That's my best suggestion, but all of you still have potential to get way stronger than you are."
"Sir, can I ask you what your quirk is... you made clones, transformed, have super strength, super speed, and you can disappear at will! Do you have some kind of strength enhancing quirk?" Momo politely asked. She had been wanting to ask since he diverted her cannoball without transforming into that golden hero form he used. He transformed, but still somehow had abilities that were superhuman when he wasn't transformed.
That seemed like more abilities than a single quirk, but that was impossible.
'Right, people only have one quirk.' Naruto thought to himself.
It would be weird, and nobody would believe him if he said he didn't have a quirk.
"My Quirk is the ability to create more quirks for myself. All I have to do is understand the mechancis behind the quirk I'm creating, and I can create do it. If I want to create a quirk to create clones of myself. then I just mold my quirk in a way that lets me create the quirk." Naruto lied and told part of the truth.
Replace the word "Quirk" with Technique, Chakra, and Ninjutsu and you had the truth. He could mold his chakra to create different techniques. His super speed and strength were just his natural enhancements that came from years of harsh ninja training, and his super enhanced Uzumaki body. Still, it would be a good enough explanation.
"Isn't that kind of overpowered... How many quirks have you given yourself?"
Naruto looked at Tsuyu as she asked that.
Oh, this would be funny.
Naruto grinned at Tsuyu as his body started to transform and took a much more toad-like appearance. His face shape changed, and he entered an incomplete Sage Mode by purposely taking and not properly balancing the senjutsu chakra he was creating. Instead of his perfected Sage Mode, he entered an imperfect Sage Mode where he gained toad features. Naruto let his now toad tongue slip out of his mouth, and showed his webbed hands.
Naruto then properly balanced the Sage chakra in his body, and all of those features disappeared, leaving only toad eyes.
"What the-"
"I just created a Quirk that allowed me to gain the Toad Quirk, and then changed the Quirk so that my body would become mostly human." Naruto just flat out lied with that one. He mimicked the toad quirk by just abusing Senjutsu by not properly wielding it. Since he could perfectly control Sage Mode, he could do it wrong on person, and then do it the right away before any horrible side effects happened.
Way too much, and you turned into a statue.
Just a little too much and you started to turn into a toad, but not a statue.
Tsuyu was surprised that he gave himself a quirk just like her own quirk.
POOF*
"... and here, I created a Quirk that could make objects." Naruto stated as the puff of smoke vanished, and next to him was a cannon just like the one that Momo made. He grinned at their awestruck faces.
Actually, he created a Clone of himself that turned into a Cannon with a Transformation jutsu, but it would still work and function like a cannon, but since it was his clone it might be even stronger than a normal cannon. He saw Momo's absolutely amazed look at him seeming to make a better version of her quirk.
The cannon vanished when the clone dispersed itself.
"So, in theory... if you could understand the mechanics behind something, you could... in theory... recreate any quirk?" Momo asked him.
The thought was shocking.
Naruto thought about it.
'Well, with Ninjutsu technically anything is possible. I guess if I studied and tried to invent Ninjutsu, I could recreate the effects of pretty much any quirk possible. It isn't a stretch to say it's possible, but I'm not super interested in it.' Naruto nodded his head to Momo, and gave her the answer she was looking for. Naruto gestured to Ochako, and beckoned her to come closer to him. "Also, I'm able to grant my quirk to others." Naruto stated as he pushed his finger into her forehead.
Ochako felt amazing.
She felt a powerful surge of energy enter her body.
Naruto transferred his chakra into her, and molded a chakra network for Ochako so that her body could start producing chakra. He did the same thing that the Sage of Six Paths once did when he gave the ninja world chakra, something similar to what he did when he passed his chakra out to everyone.
Well, he transformed his chakra to match the type of chakra that Ochako would have if she were to have chakra. He sensed her personality and heart, and changed his chakra into a matching chakra for those traits. It was less that he gave her his chakra, and more like he gave her chakra that would be a match for her chakra if she had been born with it.
"This is amazing! I feel awesome... so how does this work... how do I start making quirks?!" Ochako was super excited. The other girls quickly approached Naruto, each of them looking to get their own copy of his "quirk" that he seemed to have no problem freely giving out. "My body feels like... it's like I have fire in my veins now... I've never felt so energized in my life!" Ochako felt the chakra in her body it would seem.
Naruto just gave her chakra to show off, without really thinking about what he was going to do after that fact.
It really wasn't that big of a deal to him.
Everyone in his home world had chakra, and in this world only him and Shikamaru had it, but everyone had superpowers anyway. Adding chakra onto that really wasn't a super big deal. He just wanted to show off to some cute girls.
"You have a 2nd Quirk now Ochako, can you activate it... what does it feel like?" Jiro approached Ochako with excitement in her eyes. Everyone approached Ochako, and Naruto watched with a smile.
"It feels super awesome!"
"Is it really ethical to freely give out a copy of your quirk to others sir?" Momo asked Naruto.
"I mean, it's cool, it's a super weakened version of my quirk. Still, right now Ochako is about 2... maybe up to 5 times stronger and faster than she was before. That's a passive enhancement though... well... I guess it wouldn't be fair if I just gave Ochako the Chakra Quirk." Naruto stated with a rub of his chin.
He couldn't play favorites.
"Can I make clones like you!?" Ochako approached Naruto, shining eyes.
"Well, not like me, but if you train, you could make 1 or 2 clones. The quirks my Quirk gives you consume energy to use, and each quirk is only temporary. If you overuse the quirk I gave you without training, it will consume all your stamina and kill you via overuse." Naruto stated to her.
She grew pale.
"... Like... die die?"
"Yep, death, game over. Still, you will feel yourself approach your limit long before it kills you. Even if you run out of stamina, as long as you don't try and use the quirk after running out, you'll just face extreme exhaustion. Death only happens if you push yourself after running out of energy." Naruto gave that fair warning.
"Oh, so I won't randomly die..."
"No, none of you will randomly die. Now come here everyone, like Naruto-senpai transfer the Chakra Quirk to you." Naruto beckoned for each of them to come forward. The amount of stamina you had, your physical abilities, your spiritual and mental energies, and other factors decided how much chakra a person's body could produce at any given time.
Naruto gave chakra to all of the girls.
Momo had the most chakra.
Tsuyu the next.
Ochako 3rd place.
Finally, Jiro with the least chakra of them all.
'I'm guessing Momo is the smartest of them, and the one in the best physical condition with the most stamina... makes sense that she has the most chakra. Tsuyu being very physically strong compared to the others makes sense, and she seems mature... Ochako isn't far behind her though. Jiro is the least physically fit with the least stamina... she's got about 10% of the chakra Momo has, but almost half as much chakra as Tsuyu.' Naruto gauged each of their chakra reserves when he cut his connection to them.
Each of the girls were all amazed at the feelings in their bodies.
None of them could sense chakra.
Momo ranked at 100.
Tsuyu ranked at 21.
Ochako ranked at 19.
Jiro ranked at 10.
If he were to judge their chakra in comparison from weakest to strongest, that would be how he ranked them. Stamina was the most important part of producing chakra, the cells in your body had to work hard to produce it. He would guess that Momo's cells were expecially good at producing energy for stamina. Combined with a balanced mind and body, she was just uniquely suited for producing chakra compared to the others.
"You know, the original reason I picked you girls is because you looked good in the color orange. I expected your hero uniforms to be orange too, guess that was my fault for making assumptions. Consider this a sorry gift from me." Naruto laughed at his own assumptions.
...
'Thank God we got tricked into wearing those stupid uniforms.'
Each girl thought the exact same thing in that moment.
