A collection of FAKE drabbles to go with my Torchwood drabble collection. They'll probably be mainly Dee/Ryo and I've rated the collection T to cover anything I might write. If you've read any of my Torchwood drabbles, you'll know I live for variety and anything goes, though my writing is primarily on the fluffy side.

1642. Apprehended

Title: Apprehended

Setting: After the manga.

Summary: Dee and Ryo recapture an escaped convict.

Whenever there was an escaped convict on the loose, every police department in the country was notified, including transport police and border patrols. It always had to be assumed that the escapee might attempt to leave the country, preferably for someplace without an extradition treaty. After all, if they managed to make good their escape, they wouldn't want to get dragged back to jail.

Fortunately, while escapes did happen, most criminals were nowhere near as smart as they thought they were.

"C'mon, Harry, you had to know this was the first place we'd look for ya," Dee told the wanted man.

"I know, I just couldn't help myself! My mom makes the best fried chicken I've ever had. You guys should try some!"

"Why did you escape anyway?" Ryo wanted to know. "You had less than a year left of an eight-year stretch. You might even have gotten an early release. All you've done is add more time to your sentence."

Harry Keen sighed. "I know that too, but the other guys were escapin', so I figured I might as well tag along. It was somethin' to do. Can I at least finish my chicken before ya take me back?"
