Chris: Now remember, Cream, you too, Cheese, stay inside while I'm gone, okay?
Cream: Okay! [Cheese replies in agreement.]
Chris: I'll see ya later!
Cream: [Sighs] I don't want to stay inside, I wanna go outside and play. Ahh!
Amy: [Cream and Cheese glee in excitement.] Huh? That sounds like Cream and Cheese
outside!
Tails: I wonder what she's doing out there, Amy.
Amy: I bet Cream's out there gathering some flowers.
Tails: She knows we're supposed to stay inside while Chris is at school. What's so important
about going outside to pick flowers? Oh... [Flashback] Hi, Cream! What are you doing there?
Cream: I'm gonna surprise my mom by making her a crown out of flowers! [Flashback ends]
Tails: I guess she really misses her mom.
Amy: Of course she does, I just wish... I just wish we could do something to cheer her up.
Sonic[ Annoyed] (what is cream complaining about? She's lucky she has her mom while I never
got to know mine.)[soften] (but she does miss her mom.)
[Knuckles saw cream and sonic looking sad. He found a poster showing a lake with flowers
around it.]
Flashback
At the master emerald alter, an a 13 year old knuckles was siting on the steps looking on the
horizon. When a giggle snaped him out of his trance. He looked to see a 3 year old sonic
coming up the stairs with something behind his back.
Sonic: Hi big bro knuckles.
Knuckles:Hey, little bro sonic. What you got behind your back?
[Sonic moved his hands out of his back revealing flowers.]
Sonic: I found this flowers and wanted to bring some to you.
[Knuckles took the flowers and hugged sonic]
Knuckles: thanks sonic.
Sonic: your welcome knuckles.
[Present]
[Knuckles grabs the poster and runs off. Sonic was deep in thought that he didnt noticed that
knuckles left.]
Amy:Knuckles
[Scene Change: dinning room]
Lindsey: It's marvelous to be back at the kitchen again! On my movie sets, the chefs won't let
me cook a thing! Here are your buttermilk pancakes, dear! Enjoy!
Chris: Hmm! [Chris grabs one of the burnt pancakes only to have it crumble after a few
seconds.]
Ella: Oh my! I smell something burning! Oh!
Lindsey: Oh, Ella, it's so good to be home again! I have an idea, let's have a big party!
Chris: Party?
Lindsey: Yes! Dinner party! Tonight, we can all dress up! I'm sure Ella can prepare something
absolutely scrumptious!
Chris: A party's a great idea, and do you think you can invite your brother Sam to come over
since he's my favorite uncle?
Lindsey: [Hugs Chris] Of course, darling! You can have anything you want. Anything at all for my
adorable baby boy!
Ella: If we're having a party tonight, this calls for heavy-duty cleaning! Time to clear some clutter!
[Laughs as she leaves]
Cream: Wow, a party! This is great! I love parties!
Sonic: that sounds cool.
[Scene Change: school]
Danny: A party?
Chris: Yeah, my mom wants us to have fun while she's home! My uncle's coming for the party
too!
Frances: The racer?
Chris: Yeah, he's the coolest, and he's the leader of the S-Team!
[Scene Change: Mansion]
[ cream was making flower crowns when sonic came over]
Cream: Hi sonic
Sonic:Hi, can I help?
Cream: sure
[They continued to make flower crowns]
Cream: This crown doesn't have enough flowers, [sighs] I better pick more!
Sonic: Wait for me!
[Cream and sonic proceeds to go outside and sees Lindsey preparing the decorations for the
party. Cream and sonic looked at each other. ]
Cream: Are you thinking what I'm thinking.
Sonic: that we help?
Cream: yah
[Scene Change: school]
Kid 1: What are you doing after school?
Kid 2: Do you want to go to the mall?
Chris: Bye.
Mr. Stewart: Hey, Chris!
Chris: Huh?
Mr. Stewart: I haven't been teaching here long, but I just wanted to say thanks. I'm really lucky to
have so many intelligent and talented kids in my class.
Chris: Uh...
Mr. Stewart: You kids are terrific and I want to know all of you better! So, I'm coming to visit you
and your family later today! [Chris hesitates] I can't wait to meet your mom and get her
autograph! [Chris gasps]
[Scene Change: Mansion]
Chris: Hey, I'm home!
Mr. Tanaka: How was school today, Master Christopher
Chris: It was pretty good, Mr. Tanaka.
Lindsey: [Hugs Chris] Oh, Chris darling, you're home!
Chris: I-I hope it's okay, but my teacher Mr. Stewart's coming over today to visit, and it sounds
like he's a really big fan of your movies, mom!
Lindsey: That reminds me! What am I going to wear? I should've had the studio send over a
gown!
Chuck: I feel sorry for dogs! How do they stand it?! This collar's killing me!
Chris: How come you're wearing those clothes, grandpa?
Chuck: Mr. Tanaka said I couldn't wear my lab coat to the party! I don't see why not!
Chris: Hey, grandpa, when you see Sonic and the others, could you ask them to please stay out
of sight until Mr. Stewart and my uncle go away?
Chuck: I know that Amy and Tails are in my room, but I haven't see Sonic, Knuckles or Cream
and Cheese all day.
[Chris and Chuck turn around to see Cream, Cheese and sonic decorate the room behind
them.]
Chris: It's Cream, Cheese and sonic!
Lindsey: Is something wrong? [Chris and Chuck hesitate.] Uh, what's the matter with you two?
Chris: Uh everything's okay here, mom! You better hurry up and get ready! Me and Grandpa will
take care with the rest of the decorating for tonight's party!
Lindsey: But there's plenty of time!
Chris: Yeah, but you know how time flies when you're putting on your make-up! Right, grandpa?
Chuck: Uhhh, yes, and don't forget, all of the food that has to be prepared, too!
Lindsey: Oh, well, I'll go see how Ella's doing in the kitchen! [Walks away.]
[Chris and Chuck breathed out a sigh of relief.]
Chris: What are you two doing here, Cream? [Chris sees Ella entering the lounge room and
hides himself with Cream, Cheese and sonic behind the sofa.]
Ella: Mrs. Thorndyke decorates like a little kid!
Chris: Cream,sonic, I asked you to stay upstairs so nobody would see you!
Cream: That room was boring, and we only wanted to help you get ready for your party.
Sonic: yah, we want to help
Mr. Tanaka: Master Chris understands, it is very thoughtful of you to help us get ready,
Cream,sonic.
Chris: Mr. Tanaka, you know about these guys?
Mr. Tanaka: Of course.
Chris: You knew all along! Do you think you could help me and grandpa keep this as a secret for
right now? [Cream,Cheese and sonic start moving away.]
Mr. Tanaka: I will.
Chris: [Breathes out a sigh of relief] Thanks a lot! Hold on, they're gone!
[Knuckles glided throughout mountains while glancing at the map he's holding.]
Chris: Cream? Cheese? Sonic? I wonder where they wandered off to.
Lindsey: Ella! Ella!
Ella: Oh! What?
Lindsey: I can't find my green Versace! You didn't send it to the cleaners, did you?
Ella: Uh, no, it should be there!
Lindsey: It's not here!
Ella: I'm on my way! [Ella leaves the kitchen. Cream and Cheese then arrive in the kitchen.]
Cream: Wow, look at all that food! It smells so good! [Cheese replies in agreement.] We can
help, Cheese! [Both turn on the hand mixer and the blender at the same time causing their
contents to spill out; Cream and Cheese scream and quickly left. Ella comes in.]
Chris: Hey, Cream, are you- [Ella screams] Ah, Cream! Cheese! Ella! Hey, are you okay?
Ella: My dinner's a disaster...
[With knuckles, he comes across a waterfall and a bridge consisting of borken wooden planks.]
Knuckles:should be around here somewhere!
[Knuckles proceeds to speed across the bridge, causing more wooden planks of the bridge to fly
off.
[Scene changes to Thorndyke Mansion.]
Lindsey: This should do, at least for my entrance! [Phone rings.] Interruptions! Hello! What's
that? The starring role? I'll catch the next plane! Oh, actually I'm having a little party for my son
tonight. I'm afraid I'll have to leave tomorrow morning. [Cream, Cheese and sonic see Lindsey.]
Oh, I didn't realize. We have to shoot on location first thing tomorrow morning. I know you can't
put a hundred million-dollar production on hold for a party. I'll leave immediately. Goodbye.
[Hangs up phone.] Why does it always have to happen this way? I don't even have time to
spend with my little boy. I may be a great actress, but I'm a terrible mother. Please forgive me,
Christopher! [Crying]
Cream:(poor Chris's mom)
Sonic:(she cares more about her job than her son!)
[With knuckles, he runs and finally finds the small lake with its surrounding flowers.]
Sonic: Found it! [Grabs a flower and sniffs it.
[Knuckles imagined sonic giving him flowers. Knuckles smiled at the memory]
[Scene Change: Mansion]
Chris: Cream, where are you? Hey, Cheese! Sonic! Ah, maybe they went back into the lab with
grandpa! [Chris heads towards Chuck's lab through leaving the lounge while Ella appears at the
lounge right afterwards.]
Ella: Chris! Oh, the poor boy! Oh dear! [Outside the mansion, Mr. Tanaka helps to load Lindsey's
luggage into the boots with Lindsey standing by him.]
Ella: M'am, I've looked all over, but I'm afraid I couldn't find Chris anywhere.
Lindsey: Ella, please tell Christopher how sorry I am, and apologize to Mr. Stewart and my
brother.
Ella: They'll understand. You take care, Mrs. Thorndyke.
Lindsey: Call me if Chris needs anything.
Mr. Tanaka: Certainly, Mrs. Thorndyke.
Chris: Cream? Cheese? What, they're not here?
Chuck: Weren't they with you?
Chris: They're wandering around someplace, and Mr. Stewart's gonna be here any minute now!
What am I gonna do if he sees them?
Chuck: Stay calm. Let's all split up, and each one of us will search a different part of the house
'til we find them.
Amy and Tails: Okay!
[Out on the road, Lindsey is seen on her ride looking disappointed. As the car turns left, Mr.
Stewart's car can be seen approaching from the other side of the road. Inside, Mr. Stewart
glances at the microphone piece on his hand. In the next scene, Mr. Stewart arrives at the
mansion while carrying a bouquet of roses. Upon ringing the doorbell, Mr. Tanaka greets him at
the front door.]
Mr. Stewart: I'm Chris'
homeroom teacher, Mr. Stewart.
Mr. Tanaka: Welcome, sir. We've been expecting you.
Chris: Hi, come in!
Mr. Stewart: How are you, Chris?
Ella: Sit down! [Mr. Stewart tinkers around the decoration Cream and Cheese set up, with great
interest.] Do you like it? Mrs. Thorndyke isn't only a great actress, but an artist too! Ho ho ho!
Mr. Stewart: Well, it's great! I can't wait to meet Chris'
mother and give her my compliments!
Ella: I'm very sorry, Mr. Stewart, but just before you arrived, she was off for an important movie
part and she had to leave right away to start filming.
Chris: Ugh?! No way!
Mr. Stewart: Oh, well, that is too bad! I was really looking forward to meeting her in person. Hm,
I guess I'll offer these to you, then.
Ella: Oh, why thank you, Mr. Stewart! What beautiful roses! I'll put them in some-- [A clanging
sound is heard.]
Tails: Hello?
Ella: What was that?
[In the commotion, Mr. Stewart proceeds to carry out his plan regarding the microphone he has
with him. Chuck can be seen on the ground next to a couple of plant pots being knocked over.]
Chuck: Sorry, Ella! I was just leaning out the window, and I fell out and knocked the pots down!
Ella: I don't know what you think you're up to, but you better be on your best behavior because
Chris'
teacher is here!
Chuck: Oh, I better come in and say hi!
Ella: Oh, sir, why can't you just use the front door like everybody else?!
Chuck: One way in is as good as another!
[From the lounge, Chris observes the events and turns to see Cream and sonic hiding beneath
a window curtain directly next to Ella and Chuck. Chris screams.]
Ella: What's the matter, Chris? Why did you scream?
Chris: Err... um... it's nothing!
Mr. Stewart: Well, my, this certainly is an extraordinary painting!
[Cream and sonic looks out the window to see knuckles making a gesture at them, pointing
towards a direction.]
Cream: mr knuckles! [Cream begins moving away from the window, revealing herself in front of
Chris, Chuck and Ella. [Ella picks up Cream in surprise while Chuck cringes.]
Ella: No... I can't... is this little animal talking?!
Chuck: Talking animals?! What a joke!
Mr. Tanaka: Yes, that's some joke.
Mr. Stewart: Hmm, love this painting.
Chris: Thanks for finding my stuffed animal toy for me, Ella! Can I have it back now?
Ella: Toy?! Look, I've heard that thing talking and nobody is going to convince me otherwise!
Chris: Pretend you're a toy!
Ella: If this is some kind of joke you're playing, then you better quit before I do!
Sam: Hey hey! Ha ha, hey, where's the party?
[Sam arrives at the lounge.]
Chris: Uncle Sam, this is my teacher, Mr. Stewart!
Mr. Stewart: A pleasure! I understand you're involved in the highway patrol somehow.
Sam: Well I don't like to brag, but I'm the leader of the S-Team!
Chuck: That statement is only half-correct.
Mr. Stewart: Really?
Chris: My uncle drives fast! No other driver's quick enough to catch him! That's why he's called
the "Speed King"! You came up with the name yourself, didn't you?
Sam: Sure! A little self-promotion never hurt anybody! [Laughs] Let's cut the chit-chat here and
get this party moving, it's too slow!
Ella: And your mouth is too fast!
Sam: Heh, I can't help it that I like speed! I've always been fast! I even beat the doctor to the
delivery room. I was the only kid in town who had a 5-speed transmission in my baby carriage!
Mr. Stewart: Uh...
Sam: I'll admit it, I like living in the fast lane! Even when I'm in the supermarket, no matter how
many items I have, I'd use the express checkout! I can't even walk my dog; I'd make him run!
[Laughs] There's only one guy who's faster! [A flashback showing a scene from the "Chaos
Control Freaks" where Sonic passes by Sam at the peak of their high-speed chase.] I never saw
anything that moved that fast, but don't you worry, I'll catch up with him someday.
Mr. Stewart: Really? What did he look like?
Sam: It's weird, but he looked like a blue hedgehog! He even had a spike- [Looks at Sonic, who
is being held by Chuck] Hey, this ia him! [Chris, Mr. Tanaka, Chuck and Ella turn to see the
'stuffed toy'
in Chuck's arm.] It was the blue hedgehog I was talking about!
Mr. Stewart: Sorry, I was just admiring this painting!
Chuck: I dont think this it the hedgehogyou taking about.
Mr. Tanaka: Perhaps your eyes were playing tricks on you, sir.
Sam: But I'm telling ya, this is him.
Ella: You know, they thought I was crazy too when I heard that animal talking!
Sam: Animal talking? Well, I didn't hear it say anything, but I'm sure it could understand what I
said! We both saw the same creature! That proves I'm not crazy!
Ella: The animal I heard is over there! [Points at Cream]
Chris: You know, I'm sorry Mum can't be here for the party, but she got a phone call and had to
leave to make a movie! I was pretty mad! Mr. Stewart was looking forward to meeting her, but
she went away before he even got here! That was pretty rude, huh?
Sam: Well, that sounds like my sister, alright!
[Flashback]
Lindsey: Please forgive me, Christopher. [Bursts into tears;
[flashback ends]
Cream: You're wrong! Your mom felt very badly that she had to go, and she tried to find you to
say goodbye! You're lucky, you get to talk to your mom all the time on the phone! I can't do that!
[That's when sonic snapped. He jumped out of Chuck's arms]
Sonic: what do you have to complain for?! Both of you have to complain for?! [Turns to Chris]
your lucky you get to call your mom and talk to her when ever you want![ turns to cream] and
your lucky that you have a mom waiting for you, while...while, I DON'T!
[Cries and runs away from the lounge while. Everyone in the lounge looks on in shock.]
Mr. Tanaka: Well, I hope you enjoyed that! I've been rehearsing my ventriloquism acts for weeks
now, and if I do say so myself, I'm not half-bad!
Mr. Stewart: Ah yes, this painting is stunning!
[Tails and Amy enter the lounge following Cream.]
Tails: Cream!
Amy: Come here, Cream!
Ella: I'm seeing more of them now!
Chuck: Hey, Ella, would you care to dance? [Exits]
Chris: Well, Uncle Sam, I hope you can come and visit me again!
Sam: Yeah, but you know me, Chris! It'll have to be a quick visit! [Sam and Chris laughs.]
Mr. Stewart: I guess I've seen and heard enough. [Mr. Stewart decides not to use the
microphone. Chuck dances around in the lounge with Ella.] Chris, I better get going, I have got
homework to grade. Please give your mother my regards and tell her I hope we get to meet
soon!
Chris: I'm sorry, Mr. Stewart.
[At the front of the mansion, the gates open and Mr. Stewart drives off. Sam is then seen in his
car while Chris, Chuck and Mr. Tanaka see them off.]
Sam: Later, boys, see you in my rear-view mirror!
[Sam drives off. Chris, Chuck and Tanaka head back to the lounge. Chris sighs.]
Ella: Oh dear, I'm working too hard! I'm hearing things!
Mr. Tanaka: Mr. Chris, would it not be wise to let Ella in on your little secret, too?
Chuck: He's right. Things would be a lot easier if she were in on it, too.
Chris: Sure, okay! [Walks up to Ella.] Hey, Ella, listen, it's like this-
[Time fast forwards to evening/night.]
Ella: So the only nutty thing in my kitchen is my pecan pie! What a relief! I'm so happy that you
don't have to hide from me anymore, sweetie!
Cream: Yeah, we can be friends and I can help you out in the kitchen!
Ella: You're such a dear, I'm sure that your mother misses you terribly! [Cries]
Cream: Please don't worry. Sonic and my friends will find a way to get us all back home, and
you can take care of me until then.
Ella: I will, Cream. I will.
Cream: Thank you, Ella.
[Knuckles walked in halls and found Chris,chuck,tails,and Amy outside the door of the room that
knuckles and sonic were sharing.]
Knuckles: what's going on?
[ They explained on what happened.]
Amy: now sonic won't come out.
Knuckles: I'll talk to him.
[Knuckles went in the room and found sonic crying on there Bed. Knuckles went over to sonic
and hugged him.]
Knuckles: Hey, What's wrong buddy.
Sonic: They don't know what's its like not to have there parents. They want to complain while I
never got to know them.
Knuckles: I know it's hard. But you still have me and I'll never leave you. Have a ever broke that
promise?
Sonic[ shakes his head] no
Knuckles: right. I've never broke it now and I'm not going to start.
[They hugged each other for a while]
Knuckles: Hey I got something to cheer you up.
[Knuckles looked through his dreadlocks until he found them. What he pulled out was the
flowers.]
Knuckles: you've always brought me flowers, now it my turn.
[Sonic took the flowers and hugged knuckles again.]
Sonic: thank you.
[Knuckles picked sonic up and took him to the living room where everyone was at.]
Amy: Sonic, are you okay?
Sonic: yah,I'm okay.
Chris: waht did you mean when you said that you never knew your parents.
[Sonic just hid his face in knuckles chest]
Knuckles: Well most of you know that I adopted sonic and raised him when he was a baby right.
[Most nodded]
Knuckles: Well there's more to this story.[sighs] I was only 10 years old when I became guardian
of the Master Emerald. Back then I didn't know much of my family history. One day, I heard an
explosion. I looked up to see that a blimp exploded. A few people fell down to my island. When I
went to investigate, there was a female and a male hedgehog. When I got to take a good look at
them it seem ls that they were shot dead before the explosion.
[Everyone was sadden by this]
Suddenly there was crying from the basket. I looked to see a baby hedgehog; and that baby
was sonic.
[Everyone become shocked]
Knuckles: I couldn't leave sonic on his own so I decided to adopt sonic as my own brother. For a
few years it was just me and sonic, until one day a Resistance called the freedom fighters came
to my island. Doctor Eggman, back then he was called Robotnik; came to my island before they
did. He tricked me saying that the freedom fighters was trying to steal my emerald. But then I
found out later that it was Doctor Eggman was the one who killed sonic's parents.
[Everyone was horrified that Eggman was a killer. Chris and cream walked to knuckles and
sonic.]
Ella:you poor thing.
[Mr.Tanaka bowed in respect of silence]
Chuck:I never thought.
Chris: I didn't mean it when I complained about my mom missing the party.
Cream: and I'm sorry that I got mad. I just miss my mom so much.
Sonic: I understand. I'm sorry I yelled at you two. I guess I got a little jealous that you have your
families.
Knuckles: you still have me sonic.
Sonic: and I wouldn't trade you for anything in the world.
