"Alex, what's wrong?!" asked Evelyn as she knelt to check on her son.

"My body, it's burning up and my head feels like someone hit it with an ax!" yelled Alex through the pain.

"Can you read those symbols on the doors?" asked Rick.

"Somehow, but they are… gah, a curse!" screamed Alex while more pain coursed through his body. At this point, the adults noticed that his body was slowly turning black and blue as if a major bruise was spreading over him.

"It does not matter, if you don't read it then you could die," said Rick.

"Free thy from the chains, through the door you return, lay waste to thy enemy," said Alex, the pain growing less as he spoke.

"Rick," said Indi while storm clouds formed overhead.

"From the pits of the underworld I call you to the world of the living!" said Alex. A bolt of lighting then struck the doors which caused sand to fly up into the air.

"Okay, what the hell was that?" asked Indi who had been knocked over by the explosion.

"Not anything good," said Rick, who had also been knocked over.

"Alex, are you alright?" asked Evelyn.

"I… I think so," said Alex. He was back to normal and the pain was fully gone, but a look of worry still rested in her expression.

"If so, then you won't be for long," came a voice from the sand which sent a chill through the O'Connellls' spines.

"Imhotep!" said the family all at once.

"That's right, I have once again returned from the dead," said Imhotep as the sand began to settle down and revealed him standing before the two large doors.

"But this time, I am not alone," he said while motioning to three other people who were with him.
