Here's the first chapter. It is not fully completed but this is what I came up with. I want to know your opinions.

The last thing he expected was to wake up to the sound of crashing waves.
But for now, it was the sound of silence—well, except for the hum of his computer and the low grumble of a late-night sigh escaping his lips. Another long day had ended, just like the one before it. Another 12-hour shift that left him wondering what he was even working for.
"It's just the same thing every day," he thought, scrolling through Reddit, his screen lit up with posts ranting about the Jujutsu Kaisen ending. "Wake up. Work. Come home. Sleep. Repeat."
He switched tabs to the latest One Piece chapter, feeling a bit lighter as he reread the ending of Chapter 1128. Luffy and the crew were off on another adventure, something wild and unexpected, as usual.
"Luffy doesn't know what 'routine' means,"he thought, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "They're always moving, always on the go. Every day something new, something exciting."
He glanced at the clock—11:03 p.m. His smile faded. It was late, and tomorrow meant another long, monotonous day at work.
"It's not fair," he muttered under his breath, shutting down his laptop. "They get to explore, fight, live with real purpose… and I'm stuck in this boring cycle, day in, day out, for what? A paycheck?"
The pay was good enough to get by, but what did he have to spend it on? No family left to spoil, no one to share it with. He paused, staring blankly at the screen, as the ache twisted in his chest. His mother and sister had been gone for years, taken in that accident that still haunted him in quiet moments. His father… well, who knew where he was, if he was even still alive.
He sighed. Relationships weren't any better. Every woman he'd met seemed to lose interest the second they saw who he really was—someone trying to survive, not thrive. That kind of life didn't inspire much love.
He sighed, rubbing his eyes as he dragged himself toward his bed. He changed into something more comfortable, the weight of the next 12-hour shift already sinking into his shoulders. "Another day, same thing. Over and over again. Luffy doesn't have to worry about crap like this. He's got freedom, real freedom. That's what I want."
Flopping onto the bed, he stretched out, staring at the ceiling. His mind wandered, thinking of the Grand Line, the open sea, the sense of adventure that his life was so painfully missing.
"If only life was like that… no deadlines, no bosses, no clocking in and out… just adventure. Just freedom." He yawned, eyes closing as exhaustion started pulling him under.
As he shifted under the covers, he felt something strange—a breeze, soft and cool, brushing against his skin. For a moment, he thought he could hear… waves? The gentle sound of the ocean, rhythmic and soothing.
"Weird… but kinda nice," he mumbled. "Almost like I'm by the sea… would be nice… to live like that."
The ocean's lull and the soft breeze wrapped around him, lulling him further into sleep. He sighed, his mind drifting as he whispered, "Just… a life with no limits… like Luffy's…"
Before he could think anymore, sleep took him. The sound of the ocean still faintly lingering in his dreams… until it wasn't just a dream anymore...
