Shortly after the events at the dig site, the O'Connells and Indi were in a car heading for the airport with Rick driving while Evelyn sat in the back with their son.
"Any clue where the four may have gone?" asked Evelyn.
"No clue, but they want to create chaos, that I'm sure of," said Rick.
"Give me a second, I think I have a way to find out," said Alex while grabbing the manacle with his free arm.
"What are you doing, Alex?" asked Indi who used the review mirror to look back at the boy at the same time that a small light came from the manacle.
"The Manacle of Osiris can show me visions if I focus hard enough," said Alex. He then saw Imhotep standing on a rooftop in a large city and he could make out an american flag flying from another building.
"They're heading for New York City," said the young boy as he released his grip on the manacle, the light fading at the same time.
"Then that's where we are heading," said Rick.
"So, do you have anything other than the manacle to help us, because I think we are going to need other magical artifacts to help us?" asked Indi.
"I have several of them actually, but I think they can wait till we run into Imhotep and his goons again as I don't think getting on a plane with them will be a smart thing," said Alex.
"Also you should know that the Book of Amun-Ra is one of the items I can use," he said.
"Could I see it when we get on the plane, sweetheart?" asked Evelyn.
"There may be a spell in it that could help us to defeat Imhotep and it is a private plane that we will be taking out of here," she said.
"Sure thing, mom," said Alex. The car then pulled up to the airfield where their plane was waiting for them on the runway.
