In Class 1-A's dormitory...
Mr. Aizawa had finally got a hold of Detective Tsukauchi after waiting for about thirty minutes. Chrysalis kept trying to get out of the ropes along with HawkMoth, but Kaminari kept zapping them until they calmed down. Ladybug and Cat Noir let Mr. Aizawa and the others handle them once she spotted Bakugo wincing from his bite.
Ladybug ran over to Chloe who was trying to treat it, but he kept moving around because it hurt so much.
"Katsuki. You've gotta stay still," Chloe said to him, "I know it hurts, but moving around like that isn't going to help."
"That's easy for you to say. You didn't get bitten by Chrysalis," Bakugo said back as he felt a sharp pain shoot up his neck and down his arm.
"Ladybug, it looks really bad," Chloe told her with worried eyes, "Is there anything you can do to help subside it?"
Ladybug sat beside them, and Chloe let her look at the wound. She opened the bandage to see that the bite mark was much bigger than she expected. It looked bruised, and the poison was already spreading down his arm where the bite got him. His arm twitched a little because of the pain, and Chloe looked worried for him.
"I could try to heal him I like did for Izuku and Adrien," Ladybug explained to them.
"If it gets rid of this pain then I'm all for it," Bakugo said to them as he smiled through the pain.
Ladybug didn't know where to start, but she let Bakugo lay down onto the couch. Chloe never left his side as she held his hand. He even squeezed her hand since it hurt so much. Something about it made Ladybug happy to see them together at least.
"Okay Katsuki, I need you to--"
"Yeah, yeah. I know the drill," Bakugo said to her as he closed his eyes.
Ladybug closed her eyes and got settled down to heal him. She placed her hands onto his forehead and chest, ready to start.
Everyone was worried about Bakugo, but also looked at Midoriya who was sprouting antennas and looked like his skin had turned purple, but was very splotchy. He kept looking at it, worried about it himself. He kept feeling really itchy around his back but couldn't reach it. Something about it felt achy and even got shooting pain up back here and there.
"Are you okay Midoriya?" Jirou asked him, "There's gotta be a way to reverse this, right?"
"Not unless Ladybug uses Lucky Charm at some point," Midoriya explained to her.
They all looked at Ladybug who was in the middle of healing Bakugo. He looked like he was having trouble relaxing from the bite. Midoriya knew how that felt and felt bad for him. He was actually able to get Chrysalis and HawkMoth captured. If it weren't for him, he could've easily been taken away again along with Uraraka. He wanted to do something to help him.
Midoriya clenched his fists and ran over to the kitchen. Everyone noticed Midoriya grabbing a bowl and filled it with water. He even put cold water in it and grabbed a face cloth from the restroom nearby. He came back over carefully holding it and placed it next to Bakugo. Chloe watched him ring out the face cloth and placed it on top of Bakugo's forehead very gently. He barely reacted to it, but Midoriya noticed that he relaxed a little from the cold sensation.
Midoriya smiled at him, feeling relieved to see him finally being healed.
Chloe couldn't help but smile at how Midoriya really cared about someone like Bakugo or her. She knew about what they've been through based on what Bakugo told her, so she felt like she could finally be friends with them.
"That was pretty crazy what you did for Lila just now," Chloe pointed out, "I've never really seen someone stand up for her before. Although, I don't know if I agree that she even deserves it."
"I don't agree with it either," Midoriya said, surprising her, "Lila lies a lot, and it hurts the people around her. I may not have known her like you or Marinette do, but I can tell that she must be lonely if she feels the need to lie all the time. It's kind of sad that she thinks that she has to lie to get attention or have any sort of friends."
Chloe noticed that Midoriya looked a little upset and knew that being with her in the cave definitely made him realize a few things.
"Well, I definitely believe you now that Lila and Chrysalis aren't exactly the same thing," Chloe said to him, "There's something going on with the Butterfly Miraculous and your Miraculous. It's actually kind of creepy, no offense."
Midoriya couldn't help but laugh at Chloe being creeped out by One for All.
"That's okay. I understand why it would be a little off putting," Midoriya said back, "I was a little nervous about using One for All at first, but then AllMight showed me how to use it properly. Well... somewhat properly."
Chloe looked over at AllMight and noticed that him and his mom looked pretty close. If she didn't know them, she would've thought that they were together.
"AllMight and your mom seem to be pretty close," Chloe said with a smile, "That's gotta be a little weird."
Midoriya looked over at them and felt a little embarrassed. Once he looked at them a little longer however, something about it made him happy for his mom. She was smiling in a way that he had never seen before. He smiled at them, surprised to see them together like this.
"It's not that weird," Midoriya said back with a smile, "I mean, AllMight is the retired Symbol of Peace, but I don't mind. If she's happy, then I'm happy for her."
Chloe noticed his eyes sparkling, knowing full well that he was holding back his fanboy side back a bit. Chloe laughed a little, realizing that he was much more excited than it seemed. Midoriya noticed her laughing, and he blushed a little from embarrassment.
"W-What? What did I do?" Midoriya said getting flustered.
"Oh, nothing. I'm just... happy for you..." Chloe said, trying to hold in her laughter.
Midoriya's eyes widened, surprised to see Chloe acting like this. She'd been pretty nice to him lately, but something about it did feel much more natural than usual. He looked at Bakugo and realized that him and Chloe have been together for a while now. Whatever they've been talking about or doing together was making Chloe become more open with everyone else. He looked at Chloe holding his hand and noticed that he was squeezing her hand back. Midoriya smiled at Bakugo, happy to see that they were getting along so well.
"I'm happy for you too, Chloe," Midoriya said back, "Seeing you with Kacchan makes me realize that you really care about him. You two deserve this after all everything you've been through. I know that he feels the same way."
Chloe felt her cheeks heat up seeing Midoriya talking about them in the way. She felt a little embarrassed, but she never let go of Bakugo's hand. If anything, she squeezed his hand back to give him support.
"I just... I kind of understand him the more I hang out with him," Chloe said to him through a smile, "I can tell he's been through a lot. He told me he wasn't exactly very supportive towards you back then. I can tell that a lot has changed since then. Something about him just feels... different now."
Midoriya looked back at him being healed by Ladybug. He barely moved around except for the occasional twitching from the poison in his arm. He could tell that Bakugo was contemplating on whether to stay here or go back to Paris. He remembered the crystals bringing up leaving Japan, and he knew that he was still considering it. He smiled, happy with whatever he would decide on doing.
"Whatever he decides on doing after all of this is over, I just want you to know that he really does care about you. I know things are a little weird right now, but Paris or Japan, I'm okay with whatever he decides on doing," Midoriya said to her.
Chloe was shocked that he even brought that up at all. She knew that that meant Bakugo was still thinking about it. Looking around the dormitory, Chloe realized that he'd be leaving all of this behind. All of his classmates and friends, and she didn't know if she could handle that. For now, she just wanted him to get through this healing session with Ladybug.
Ladybug was still in the middle of healing him, and they both noticed that his wound was starting to look better. It was less bruised and not twitching as much now. Midoriya refreshed the face cloth, rung it out and placed it down on his forehead. Bakugo barely reacted to it, but he did look a lot more relaxed now.
"How's he doing Izuku?" Uraraka asked him as she knelt next to him.
"He's doing okay. He's just looks really tired," Midoriya said back, "I hope that he'll be okay."
"He'll be okay. Bakugo's pretty tough," Uraraka said to him as she rubbed his shoulder for support, "I'm just surprised that Kacchan has his quirk back. He actually kept it a secret from all of us."
Midoriya snapped out of it and remembered seeing him getting blown away his own explosion. He whipped his head towards Uraraka, completely shocked that his quirk was back.
"Wait a minute, Kacchan's quirk is back?" Midoriya asked her back, "I-I remember him letting off an explosion, but I was kind of out of it. He actually got his quirk and had it all this time?"
"Apparently," Uraraka said to him, "Just based on how he acted back in Paris, I'm guessing he had it for a lot longer than we thought. I think he was trying to plan ahead of Chrysalis. He really wanted to gain the upper hand, but it just didn't work out the way he wanted it to."
"Yeah, but he did get us Chrysalis and HawkMoth all tied up," Chloe said back, "I'd say that's pretty amazing considering how strong they are."
"He also stood up to Chrysalis for you, Chloe," Uraraka said to her, "He totally forgot about his plan and saved you from getting hurt. For Bakugo, that's a pretty big deal."
Chloe felt a blush forming across her face and looked over at Bakugo. The way he slept gave him such a glow that made her heart flutter. Something about it just made her feel so warm inside. Before she could say anything else, someone knocked on the door.
Mr. Aizawa came over to the door and opened it to see Detective Tsukauchi along with an officer that had a cat head.
"Detective Tsukauchi, please come in," Mr. Aizawa said to him, "I didn't think you'd bring anyone else with you."
"Well considering what you told me over the phone, I felt like I had to at least have someone to come with me for backup," Detective Tsukauchi said back as they entered the dormitory.
They looked around the room to see Class 1-A, AllMight, Midoriya's mom, some bald guy in a robe, and some other heroes that looked very young. One of them looked like they were healing someone that they recognized as Bakugo from the Sports Festival and the Kamino incident. Then they also noticed the front window was shattered completely as if someone flew through it.
As they walked further into the dormitory, Mr. Aizawa finally brought them over to Chrysalis and HawkMoth. They were still tied up, but exhausted from Kaminari shocking them.
"Wow. You guys look like you need help with these villains," Detective Tsukauchi said back.
He took a closer look at Chrysalis and noticed that she looked pretty young to be doing this much damage. He remembered Mr. Aizawa mentioning those purple butterflies flying all over Japan. Apparently she was the cause of this. He even explained how her power works and how she's quirkless and not from here. Even HawkMoth was quirkless as well and was following her as her ally.
"She did all of this? Pro heroes are having trouble with these butterflies because of a teenager?" Detective Tsukauchi pointed out.
"Don't underestimate her, Tsukauchi," AllMight said to him, "She's gotten me as well. She's pretty powerful with that Miraculous of hers. I'm sure Mr. Aizawa explained everything that's been going on with our class and these heroes."
"Yes, he has. I just can't believe that this is happening," Detective Tsukauchi said back, "I mean another Paris, magical jewelry called Miraculous that give you superpowers. It all feels like something out of a comic book. But from what I can tell, it looks it's all true."
Detective Tsukauchi got a closer look at her and realized that she looked like a Moth. She looked like she could easily fit in here with all of these heroes and villains in Japan. She looked up to see someone new was here, looking at her like she was in a Zoo or museum.
"Looks like we have a guest over to look at us like we're animals in a cage," Chrysalis said to them, "Whoever you are, don't expect me to cooperate with you. I'm sure Gabriel here won't either."
Detective Tsukauchi noticed that she wasn't someone that was going to be straight up with him. He knew that he should just let it go for now and get right to the reason why he was here.
"Tamakawa, go grab what Mr. Aizawa asked for. Looks like we're going to need them after all," Detective Tsukauchi said to the Cat Police Officer, "You should have someone help you. It's a little heavy."
"Yes sir," Tamakawa said back as he put his hand up to his head.
"Sato and Kirishima, go help out Tamakawa with what they brought over," Mr. Aizawa demanded.
"Yes sir!" Sato and Kirishima said back.
Tamakawa, Sato and Kirishima ran out of the dormitory, and everyone grew curious as to what they brought here. After what felt like a good while, they all came into the dormitory with a giant, foldable cage. Sato even carried heavy chains for both Chrysalis and HawkMoth. Chrysalis stared at the muzzle, knowing full well who that was for.
Class 1-A and M all looked at the cage and chains like they didn't expect any of this. Even AllMight was a bit shocked to see this in the dormitory.
Chrysalis stared at Mr. Aizawa with so much intensity, but it didn't even seem to bother him.
"You can't be serious?! You're actually caging us like wild animals!" Chrysalis growled out.
Mr. Aizawa turned around to stare back at her, and he turned on his quirk even if it didn't work on her. His hair stood up, and his eyes turned a glowing red. Chrysalis didn't back down and kept staring at him.
"If you keep biting my students, then you should've expected this," Mr. Aizawa said back with such intensity, "I'm not letting you get anywhere near Midoriya or my students. You can count on that."
Just mentioning Midoriya made her a little more aggressive towards their teacher. She tried to get out of the rope and felt her wings start to loosen up. Mr. Aizawa noticed right away, and Kaminari zapped her. This time however, she kept fighting through it to try to get out of the rope.
"Detective Tsukauchi, give me a chain!" Mr. Aizawa called out, "She's trying to escape!"
The Detective ran over to him with a heavy chain, but Sato helped him out. Sato took over and noticed that Chrysalis was starting to slip out of the ropes. Sero quickly shot tape out at her once one of her arms were out, and Sato put the chain around it. Even though it was so heavy, she could still move her arm pretty well. Sato held her down with the chain as Kirishima grabbed the other chain. Chrysalis tried to spit at him with acid, but he dodged it. Her arm slipped out, but Kirishima quickly grabbed it with the chain and attached it to her.
Kirishima and Sato held her down along with other heroes running in to help out. Kaminari tried to shock her again, but she pushed him off of her. Tamakawa threw the muzzle in Mr. Aizawa's direction and wrapped it around Chrysalis's mouth. Her eyes stared daggers at him as he snapped it in place.
"This is for your own good. If we can't get the Miraculous off of you, then we need to keep you locked up until we can figure out how to get them back," Mr. Aizawa said to her.
"You old man! You can't do this to me!" Chrysalis cried out through the muzzle.
Kirishima and Sato dragged her into the cage as she tried to get free from these chains. Her wings spread out, getting Midoriya's attention. His head hurt as a sudden wave of energy gave him a headache. It felt like Chrysalis was trying to get him to help him out of this mess.
"Izuku! You can't help them do this to me! To us! You've gotta get me out of here!" Chrysalis cried out through the muzzle.
Midoriya felt a magnetic pull towards her once he spotted her wings, but he tried to shake it off. Uraraka noticed him fighting her off from trying to help her and held his hand. That caught his attention and somehow he was able to relax a little. He tried not to look at her wings, but did feel a little bad for not Chrysalis but Lila. Seeing her getting put in a cage was a little disturbing.
"Izuku!" Chrysalis cried out as they successfully locked her into the cage.
Uraraka squeezed his hand, helping him feel more comfortable with this situation. Detective Tsukauchi slammed the cage closed and turned towards HawkMoth who was looking just as angry as Chrysalis.
"One down, one to go."
Another amazing chapter!
This chapter was pretty good! This chapter finally introduces Detective Tsukauchi and that cat policeman from the series! I just had the policeman cat there for someone to help them, and he was the first one that I could think of! LOL! Detective Tsukauchi is pretty cool, but I don't know if he'll be in it a lot. I just thought he'd be the perfect for this sort of part of the book! It just made sense to not send them to jail since that would just help Chrysalis since they can't take back the Miraculous.
We'll see where this goes!
More to come soon!
