In Class 1-M's dormitory...
Class 1-A all made their way towards Class 1-M's dormitory after they all got ready. Class 1-M had left earlier so they could get things set up. Everyone was so excited to come over since they had never had a sleepover before. They had gone over to their dormitories, but had never done anything like this.
"This is so exciting!" Hagakure cried out with a squeal, "I've been wanting to have a sleepover at their dormitory for a while now! I mean, ours is great but there is just so cute!"
"I know, right?" Ashido said back, "It feels like Paris in there! Mr. Aizawa really helped them settle down a lot. He's such a softy underneath all of that grumpiness."
Midoriya walked by Uraraka's side, watching her laugh along with Ashido and Hagakure. He wanted to laugh with her, but something was bugging him ever since he left the dormitory. He kept hearing a slight ringing in his ear, and he tried to shake it off.
"Izuku, are you okay?" Uraraka asked him with a concerned look on her face.
"What? Yeah... I just... It just bothers me that Chrysalis and HawkMoth are stuck in those cages," Midoriya said to her, "Something about it just didn't look right."
Midoriya could tell that Uraraka wasn't bothered by it as much as he was.
"Look Izuku. I know you're trying to help her, but you need to let Mr. Aizawa take care of things for now," Uraraka said to him, "Chrysalis and HawkMoth aren't going anywhere tonight. Let's just enjoy this sleepover, okay?"
Midoriya still felt a little off ever since he left the dormitory. The ringing subsided and nodded at Uraraka.
"Okay. I'm just glad that you're here with me," Midoriya said as he held her hand.
Uraraka smiled at him and tighten her grip around his hand.
Midoriya spotted Bakugo walking over to Class 1-M's dormitory, surprised to see him enjoying them. He was talking to Kirishima, and he noticed that he was actually enjoying it. Something about it made him happy to see him be good friends with Kirishima. He just hoped that him and Chloe will be okay whatever he decides to do later on.
Once they arrived, Marinette and Adrien opened the doors with big smiles on their faces. They were already in their pajamas, ready to start the sleepover.
"Come in! We're glad that you all came!" Marinette cried out.
"This is going to be so much fun!" Adrien cried out with an even bigger smile.
Class 1-A all entered the dormitory, and the ones that had gone to the field trip were so excited to see how much it looked like their Paris. The dormitory already looked like it belonged in Paris, but they had put up decorations all around the common room to make it more like Paris. There were pillows set up for sitting and laying down on.
Even the snacks were like something out of Marinette's parent's Bakery Shop. All of the snacks were set on the coffee table, looking really neatly placed. There were macarons, scones, croissants, chocolates and sparkling cider. There were even little sandwiches freshly made with fresh bread, spinach, tomato and mozzarella cheese in them.
"Wow! Everything smells so good!" Ashido commented as she smelled the freshly made snacks.
"I'd say this rivals Sato's baking by a landslide," Yaoyorozu said to Marinette.
"Hey, I'm totally okay with that. This looks amazing!" Sato said to Yaoyorozu.
"I really missed your parent's baking! I can't believe you did this!" Uraraka cried out looking at all of the snacks.
"W-Well, I kind of had some help," Marinette said as she scratched the back of her head.
"Don't be so modest. She pretty much did all of this even if we did help," Adrien said to them, "She can be pretty quick on her feet when she needs to be."
"You did burn a couple trays of croissants though," Kagami said to Marinette, making her blush from embarrassment.
Everyone settled down at the common room couches with their sleeping bags and pillows. Everyone was so eager to try some snacks and got started right away. Ashido ate a macaron and instantly fell in love with them. Sato was pretty satisfied and so was Aoyama. Even the classmates didn't get to go to Paris were so excited to finally try Marinette's baked goods.
"These are a lot better than everyone said they were," Sero commented as he ate a macaron.
"I'd have to say, these are pretty good," Tokoyami said to Marinette.
"Oh my gosh! I've never tasted anything like this before!" Kaminari cried out, "Now I really wish that I got to go to Paris with you guys!"
Marinette felt herself blushing at all of these compliments. She was so happy to see everyone enjoying her baked goods.
"I actually got all of these recipes from my parents. They make these all the time at the Bakery Shop," Marinette told them.
"I heard that your parents have a Bakery Shop below your house. That's pretty cool!" Ojiro said to her.
"That must be nice to wake up to baked goods in the morning," Kouda said to her.
"Yeah. It is kind of something that I miss," Marinette said to them as she noticed someone trying to sneak a macaron, "But I gotta say, it's been a lot easier keeping an eye on a certain Kwami... Tikki."
Tikki flinched from Marinette calling out her Kwami. She had almost grabbed a hold of a macaron, and everyone spotted her in the middle of the table. She turned around to see Marinette looking a little annoyed.
"Tikki, this is exactly what you do back in Paris," Marinette said to her Kwami, "You can't keep doing this everywhere we go. Sorry guys, Tikki kind of has a sweet tooth. Sometimes it almost gets me in trouble."
Tikki gave her a slight nervous smile, knowing full well that the Kwami almost got caught once or twice.
"Come on Marinette. Just one macaron," Tikki said back with a pouty face, "I never get to have fresh baked macarons."
Marinette gave her a dirty glare, but all of the girls from Class 1-A were so in awe seeing Tikki looking so adorable.
"Come on Marinette. Tikki's so cute," Hagakure said as she looked at her.
"Tikki needs a break too," Yaoyorozu said to Marinette as she scratched the top of her head.
Marinette rolled her eyes and smiled as she gave Tikki a macaron.
"Oh fine. But just one. We both know how you get when you have too much sweets," Marinette said to her.
"Thank you Marinette!" Tikki cried out as she ate the macaron on the coffee table.
Once Tikki had a macaron, Adrien noticed a certain Kwami sneaking a piece of cheese from a sandwich.
"Plagg! What're you doing?" Adrien said with a dirty glare.
"Ad-Adrien! I-I was just admiring this piece of cheese. I-I wasn't going to steal it like Sugarcube over here," Plagg said to him.
"Sugarcube?" Some of Class 1-A and M said back in unison.
"Ah hah, sure you weren't. Plagg, you can't just take cheese from anywhere you find it," Adrien said to him like he's said this a bunch of times before.
"We don't mind. Besides, these little guys are kind of cool!" Kaminari commented as he went to pet Plagg.
"Hey, watch it! I'm not a pet!" Plagg yelled at Kaminari.
Adrien gave Plagg a piece of cheese, and the Kwami backed off. Once he did however, all of the other Kwamis joined in on the fun.
"Hey! We want snacks too!" Roaar cried out.
"Yeah! Tikki and Plagg aren't the only ones who want snacks!" Longg cried out.
"We deserve a break too!" Wayzz cried out.
All of the Kwamis swarmed around the snacks, taking whatever they could before Marinette could stop them. Class 1-A didn't seem to mind, all of them found it was pretty entertaining. The ones that didn't go to Paris however weren't use to Kwamis flying all over the place.
"Is this what it was always like in Paris?" Ojiro asked them.
"No. Just on occasion," Uraraka said to them.
Once the Kwamis were satisfied, they settled down and went back to their rightful holders. They floated right next to them and ate their snacks.
Class 1-A couldn't help but laugh at how funny and weird this all was. Once things started to calm down, Midoriya hadn't even noticed that Chloe wasn't even here with them. He looked around, wondering where she was.
"Hey Marinette. Where's Chloe?" Midoriya asked her.
Marinette looked around the common room and noticed that she still hadn't come down from her dorm room.
"She must still be getting ready for the sleepover. Weird, she's been in her room ever since we got back," Marinette said to them, "I hope nothing's bothering her."
Midoriya flinched in his spot and looked at Bakugo who was looking a little guilty. Everyone even seemed to slowly shift their attention onto him. His eyes grew wide, noticing everyone looking at him.
"Why the hell is everyone looking at me? I didn't do anything!" Bakugo growled out.
"Come on Bakugo, you can't really be this stupid. Can you?" Ashido asked him.
"You clearly hurt her feelings back there. She wants to be more than friends with you," Uraraka said to him.
"B-But I didn't do anything! She's the one who said she wanted to be friends, not me!" Bakugo cried out.
"Is he serious?" Kagami asked them, looking a little confused.
Class 1-A all nodded, and Bakugo felt even more embarrassed and flustered.
"Bakugo, we all know that you two like each other," Ashido said to him, "She's always excited to see you. I might not understand it, but I can tell she really likes you."
Bakugo sat there quietly, not saying a thing. His face looked a little flushed from being cornered about Chloe.
"I-I know that..." Bakugo growled out.
Everyone was now confused except Midoriya. He wondered if this had anything to do with the conversation they had earlier.
"Wait, you know that she likes you?" Jirou asked him, "Then why aren't you saying anything about it to her?"
"It's none of your business. That's between me and her," Bakugo said to them with a glare.
Midoriya's eyes widened in shock, knowing full well that he was still wondering about leaving. He could tell that he didn't want to be with her because he didn't want to go through something similar to Jirou and Adrien.
"But wait, if she likes you then, why would she say that she just wants to be friends with Bakugo?" Kaminari asked them.
Bakugo looked up, surprising everyone in the room. He tried to avoid eye contact with everyone and felt a little uncomfortable being here. Bakugo looked at his hand, remembering the feeling of Chloe holding it while he was being healed. Something that moment reminded him of when they kissed back in Paris. When he didn't know if he wanted to stay in Paris or not.
"Guys. Maybe you should back off a bit," Midoriya said, surprising everyone including Bakugo.
Bakugo looked at Midoriya and could tell that he knew exactly what was going on. He knew that Chloe was going to be leaving soon. In that moment, Bakugo understood now why she just wanted to be friends. He avoided eye contact with everyone as he got up from the coffee table.
Everyone watched him walk off and noticed that he was heading towards Chloe's room. Bakugo didn't say anything as he entered the elevator. Once he left, everyone started to talk about what Bakugo could possibly be doing or thinking about.
Midoriya watched him leaving and could tell that he too was confused. He felt bad for him and kind of wished he didn't mention staying in Japan to Chloe. If anything, he's just hoping that this somehow ends up being a good thing.
For a moment, Midoriya thought he heard that ringing again. After a long minute, the ringing got louder. He couldn't shake it off, and then it clicked inside of his head.
"Take the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous..."
In the elevator...
Bakugo stood in the elevator, not sure what to do in the moment. Something felt a little off as he made his way towards Chloe's room. His heart fluttered, and it kind of frustrated him. After what happened back in their dormitory, those same feelings back in Paris started to come up again. He thought that maybe he could just enjoy this sleepover, which is something he never thought he'd ever think about.
The moment Chloe said that she just wanted to be friends, something had felt a little off ever since. He actually started to feel the need to hold her hand.
When he saw Chloe's face when she said that, she looked so upset.
He couldn't tell if it was because she actually liked him, or if it was because of her leaving Japan soon.
Once the elevator opened, he walked down the hallway towards her room. Then he realized that he had never been to her room before. Something about it made his heart skip a beat. He felt his face heat up just thinking about going up to her room. Once he made it to her door, he hesitated to knock.
He was about to knock with his shaky hand, but then her door opened. Chloe showed up in her pajamas holding her sleeping bag and pillow.
Once Bakugo saw her in her pajamas, he felt his face bright up unexpectedly. He didn't expect her to show up so suddenly, let alone in pajamas that showed off her curves. He tried to shake it off and avoided eye contact with her.
"So-Sorry for running late," Chloe said to him as she wiped her tears.
Bakugo hadn't even noticed that she was crying. Something about that made him feel a lot worse. They just stood there for a moment, and Chloe was a little confused as to why he came up here.
"C-Can we talk...?" Bakugo said to her pretty quietly.
Clearly Chloe was surprised that he even wanted to come up to see her. She hesitated, but soon let him into her room. Once he entered, he was surprised to see it looking so much like Queen Bee. It was nothing like he expected. It almost looked like something you'd find in their dormitories.
Like she belonged here.
Just seeing her room kind of made things a little more difficult. Chloe sat down onto her bed and moved over for him to sit down. Bakugo felt a little awkward sitting on her bed, he tried to ignore it. They both sat there for a moment in silence. Bakugo didn't quite know where to start since he usually wasn't so good at these types of things.
Bakugo kept looking at the floor and tapped his foot a little bit.
"C-Chloe... I-I..." Bakugo said, feeling a little flustered.
"I know why you're up here," Chloe said to him.
Bakugo was a little thrown off, but tried not to get flustered around her.
"You want us to be more than friends," Chloe said, "I just... I don't see how that could work. I'm going home soon, and you don't even know if you want to stay here or go back to Paris."
"I never said that I'd be going anywhere," Bakugo said back, "Who told you that...?"
Then Bakugo trailed off and an image of Midoriya came up. He couldn't help but get slightly annoyed.
"Deku said something to you, didn't he? He really should stay out of my damn business," Bakugo said to her.
"Izuku has nothing to do with this, Katsuki," Chloe said back, "Clearly things between us are going in completely different directions. Do you really want us to end up like Kyouka and Adrien?"
Bakugo stopped in his tracks, remembering not much about it. He may not have cared that much about it, but he did notice how that affected them before coming back to Japan. Even Jirou seemed to have trouble with all of this.
Bakugo clenched his fists, feeling a little frustrated.
"I don't care about that. Ever since I came back to Japan, I never thought about going back to Paris--"
"What?! Y-You... You don't want to go back...?" Chloe asked him, clearly upset.
"Th-That's not what I said! Agh! What I meant was that I never thought about it because I was spending time with you!" Bakugo cried out, not thinking about what he was telling her.
Chloe felt her heart flutter as Bakugo stopped to compose himself. He scratched the back of his head, feeling a little bit embarrassed.
"I-I know that you like me... W-We did kiss after all," Bakugo confessed while avoiding eye contact with her, "I-I just... didn't really know how I felt..."
Chloe never looked away as he tried to tell her how he was feeling. Something about it made her feel so warm inside.
"Ever since we got back to Japan, I've been kind of feeling... a bit, you know... When you were in trouble with Chrysalis, I totally forgot my plan. All I could think about was protecting you from Chrysalis. You even used my Miraculous to do the same for me... When I woke up from Ladybug's healing session, I could feel you holding my hand. Something about it felt... good."
Chloe felt her heart skip a beat when he leaned in closer to her. His hand even slid closer to hers.
"And I didn't want it to stop."
Bakugo and Chloe were only mere inches away from their faces, and they were both blushing profusely.
"Katsuki... I fell in love with you back there in Paris..." Chloe confessed to him, "And I've been in love with you ever since..."
Bakugo couldn't help but smirk at how sparkly her eyes looked as he got closer to her.
"Japan or Paris, I don't care where I go as long as it's with you..." Bakugo confessed to her.
Chloe smiled back, and they held hands. They kissed, and Bakugo felt like he was letting off fireworks. Chloe wrapped her arms around his neck, and he wrapped his arms around her waist. He was surprised at how gentle she was with him and pulled her in closer. All he wanted was to feel her close to him. Her warmth felt so comforting to him, and all he wanted was to wrap his arms around her.
"Katsuki..." Chloe said as she stopped kissing him, "What about the others?"
"I don't care anymore," Bakugo said back, "I just can't stand the thought of not being with you. Being around you makes me feel like I can do anything. I could be the number one hero either in Japan or Paris. You're the only one that understands me."
"But that's not true Katsuki," Chloe said back, "You have friends and family back here in Japan that care about you. I've been here long enough to see that. You really would rather be with me than stay here in Japan?"
Bakugo stopped in his tracks, realizing that he had pretty good friends here. Even if it took this long to realize it, he still couldn't stand the thought of not being with Chloe. Just looking into her eyes made him notice something about himself.
"Chloe, I think I'm in love with you."
Another amazing chapter!
I love this chapter so much! Class 1-A and M are finally having last minute sleepover!! Yay! I just love how this turned out! With Midoriya being mutated, things will definitely get interesting! It's just nice to have them just have a good night together like this! But something is going on with Midoriya...
Bakugo and Chloe have been so much fun to write! I never thought I would enjoy writing them as much as I actually do! Something about them is just so interesting to me! The way things have played out for them has been fun and more of a slow pace than something like Jirou and Adrien! I like that I brought up the fact that Jirou and Adrien went through something similar, I think it's definitely something that they would think about.
Bakugo just confessed!!
What's going to happen next??
More to come soon!
