Ladybug teammates and even Class 1-A were all staring at AllMight with speechless faces. Marinette's eyes sparkled as she realized that she'd be learning from the retired Symbol of Peace. She felt her heart racing as she felt like freaking out like a fangirl.
"Really?! You're going to teach us?!" Adrien cried out, beating Marinette to it.
"This is so cool, dude!" Nino cried out next to Adrien, "Learning some cool moves from the Symbol of Peace himself!"
Marinette tried not to freak out, but felt so much passion coming out of her that she couldn't hold it back any longer.
"I've been wanting to learn from you ever since I got a little bit One for All, AllMight!" Marinette said to him with such passionate eyes, "I always wanted to learn how to properly use it. I've got the gist of it, but still."
Mr. Aizawa activated his quirk, even though it didn't actually do anything to Marinette and her teammates. They all stopped talking and let the teachers take care of things from here.
"Alright. It's getting late, and we need all of you to get some rest," Mr. Aizawa said to them, "We will bring Class 1-M to their new dormitory."
Everyone looked confused, but all realized that they were talking about Marinette and her teammates.
"Class 1-M?" They all said in unison.
"Yes. We were going to go with Class-L, but we thought it would be more fitting to go with Class 1-M," Mr. Aizawa explained, looking mostly at Marinette.
Marinette felt herself when she realized that he was talking her being the Guardian of the Miraculous and all that. She felt herself blushing as their class gathered together.
"It sounds perfect," Adrien said with a smile.
"Alright then, let's go," AllMight said as he led his class to their new dormitory.
AllMight and all of the teachers headed out of the dormitory along with Class 1-M. Present Mic and Cementoss left them to do their thing, and Mr. Aizawa let AllMight handle things from here on out. Mr. Aizawa went back to his proper dormitory since he was really tired. AllMight smiled at them all and headed towards the dormitory. Marinette still couldn't believe that this was happening. She was still holding onto the letter along with everyone else. She really wondered what the letter was, but saved it for when she settled into their new dormitory.
She then realized that they were right next door to Class 1-A which just made things even better for them. Once they entered the dormitory, they noticed how similar it was to Class 1-A's. But then Marinette noticed something in the common room that caught her attention and made her tear up. It was a beautiful picture of Paris with cherry blossoms all around the Effiel tower. Something about seeing it made her already feel at home.
"Mr. Aizawa personally made sure that picture was up for all of you guys," AllMight explained with a smile, "He may not look it sometimes, but he does care about you all."
Marinette almost cried right there just looking at how the picture looked in their dormitory. She even noticed how the kitchen almost looked like the one in her parent's bakery shop. Now she really was crying as tried to wipe the tears away. It still looked like any other dormitory, but just with some touches to it that felt like Paris as well.
"Are you okay, Marinette?" Adrien asked her.
"Y-Yeah... I'm just surprised is all," Marinette said back as she wiped her tears.
Adrien touched her arm, and she ended up hugging him in a tight embrace. She really missed Paris, but also knew that this was a good place to be right now. She knew that she'd be back in Paris someday soon, but right now she was just glad to be with her friends from Paris and Japan.
AllMight smiled, noticing how look Marinette and Adrien were.
"Alright. Mr. Aizawa is right. It is getting late," AllMight said to them, "Why don't you all settle into your new dorm rooms. I have your dorm room setup on these papers so you can find your rooms easier."
AllMight handed out pieces of paper to each of them that were basically a map of the entire building. It told them where their dorm rooms were and where the restrooms were to freshen up. Marinette noticed that the guys were separated from the girls, which she wasn't surprised about since this was still a school.
"I'm gonna settle in as well," AllMight said to them as he yawned, "I've gotta make sure all of my stuff is moved into my room."
"Wait, you're going to stay in here with us?" Adrien asked him.
"Yes. All teachers stay in a dorm room. It's a rule just in case any of you sneak out after curfew," AllMight said to them.
Marinette didn't think he'd stay with them, which made things even better. She tried to stay calm, and she successfully did it this time around.
"Goodnight everyone," AllMight said to them, "Get a good night sleep tonight. You've got your first day of school tomorrow to look forward to."
Once AllMight left, Marinette and everyone else freaked out for a moment. They all couldn't believe that this was actually happening. None of them ever thought that they would ever go to a school like this.
"This is crazy!" Chloe cried out, "I heard them talk about this school, but I never thought I'd ever actually come here!"
"Yeah..." Marinette trailed off, realizing something.
Some of their teammates didn't make it over to the portal. Including Alya. She really wished that Alya could be there, she would absolutely love it over here since she loved superheroes so much. She almost felt bad for being here without her.
"What's wrong Marinette?" Adrien asked her.
"It's just... I really miss Alya," Marinette said back, feeling tears coming up again, "She'd love it here. Being surrounded by heroes and quirks, this is something that she would love to go to. Without her around, it just feels so weird. I used to talk to about this stuff all the time and now..."
"You've got us," Adrien said to her with a smile, "I know you miss her. She's your best friend. So, do this for her. Tell her all about it when you get home. I'm sure that she would love that. For now, you can talk to me or any of us if you need to."
Marinette wiped her tears feeling so much love coming from her teammates. She hugged Adrien, feeling so much better already. Once she separated from him, she suddenly got excited about her room.
"Do you think Mr. Aizawa did anything special for our rooms?" Marinette asked them with wide eyes.
They all got super curious and grabbed their uniforms and accessories. Once they knew where to go based on the map, the girls entered the elevator eagerly waiting to see their rooms. Marinette jumped a little, excited to see her room. She looked at her room and noticed that she was on the top floor along with Chloe. At first she thought that was a little weird, but after everything they've been through, she didn't mind.
Once she got to the top floor along with Chloe, they both entered their rooms. Marinette opened her door and almost started to cry. It looked like dorm room inspired by her room back at home. Her bed, her desk, even her chair all looked like something that would be in her room. She even had a computer on her desk to do her homework. She even noticed that she had a small bathroom in her room. She wasn't expecting to see an area where she could do her fashion designing since there was a manikin with beautiful design to it. There were even supplies and tools to get started with.
Her eyes sparkled when she saw a little bed for Tikki right by her pillow. She even had snacks for her Kwami right on her nightstand. She even noticed the same Effiel tower picture on her desk. Mr. Aizawa must've known it would mean a lot to her. She even had a picture of her and Alya on her nightstand that made her want to cry.
"Are you okay, Marinette?" Tikki asked her as she sat on her lap.
Marinette felt tears fall down her face, but this time she let them fall this time around. She grabbed the picture and couldn't help but smile at the fact that Mr. Aizawa and possibly other teachers did this for her and her teammates. He really cared about her, even if he didn't show it very much.
"Tikki, Mr. Aizawa... He did all of this..." Marinette said to her, "He didn't have to do all of this, and yet... He just surprised me with a big surprise... And now, I'm going to this amazing school for heroes... This isn't something I ever thought I'd actually get to do... I even met someone like Melissa... This is such an amazing opportunity... I just can't believe this is actually happening..."
Tikki smiled and flew up to wipe her tears away.
"And you deserve it, Marinette," Tikki said with a smile, "Everyone here is so excited to start something new. You should be proud of yourself for how far you've come."
Marinette smiled at her and gave Tikki a hug.
"I love you, Tikki," Marinette said to her, "I'm so glad that you're here with me."
"Me too, Marinette," Tikki said back with a smile.
Once she stopped hugging her, Marinette didn't realize that she had left the door open. Chloe was standing right there, shocked to see Marinette's room looking similar to the one back in Paris.
"Wow! Your room looks just like..." Chloe said to her.
"Yeah," Marinette said to her with a slight laugh, "I know. What about your room?"
Chloe smiled widely, and Marinette knew that she absolutely loved it. Chloe got so excited that she decided to invite her over to her room. Marinette was surprised at first, but followed her anyway. She ran over to her room and got excited once she entered.
It looked like a room that Queen Bee would have. It was fully inspired by Queen Bee's style and Miraculous, and Marinette kind of thrown off at how incredibly cool it looked. The yellow and black patterns reminded her of the Miraculous. There wasn't too much of it, so it came together well with her bed, desk and chair. Marinette spotted to little bed next to Chloe's pillow just like Tikki. Chloe even had snacks for Pollen as well.
She even an open closet where she could put her clothes and accessories in. She even had a picture of her and Zoe together on her nightstand. Marinette even noticed that the style reminded her of Zoe a little, which was shocking to her.
"It's a smaller than I expected, but it's still so cool!" Chloe cried out, "I didn't expect it to look like a Queen Bee styled room!"
"Looks like Mr. Aizawa and the teachers knew what they were doing," Marinette said to her.
Chloe sat on her bed, and Marinette noticed her staring at the picture on her nightstand. She couldn't help but smile at how amazing it is to see Chloe actually enjoying herself in a place like this. Once Marinette spotted the picture on her nightstand, she could tell that Chloe missed Zoe for once. Marinette was hesitant to sit on her bed, but she did it anyway. It felt so weird to be sitting next to Chloe on her bed.
"All of this is pretty weird, huh?" Chloe asked her.
"Yeah. A little," Marinette said back, "I'm sure Zoe would love this sort of thing."
Marinette noticed her flinch and slumped a little in her bed. She could tell that she missed her, but didn't want to admit it. Her and Zoe were just starting to get along and now were separated from each other. Marinette was starting to feel bad for Chloe and wondered if she could do anything to help.
"You know if you ever need to talk about Zoe or anything else, I'm right next door," Marinette said to her.
Chloe couldn't help but smile, but still felt a little weird about it. For a while, Chloe and Marinette just sat there quietly, not saying anything. It was a little awkward, but Marinette didn't mind. She looked around and noticed that Chloe had a balcony by her window. Marinette didn't even notice if she had one, but she was definitely going to check later.
"Ever since you joined our team again, I wasn't sure if I should trust you at first," Marinette said to her, causing her to slump over some more, "But after seeing all things that you did for us and Class 1-A, I really think that you deserve a second chance. I even kind of consider you a friend now."
"Really?" Chloe asked her with a surprised look, "I mean, it's still weird to me that you're Ladybug. But after seeing you do all of these amazing things with Cat Noir and the team, it makes me realize how much you've done for Paris. Even being in Japan might be kind of fun."
Marinette smiled, realizing just how much Chloe has changed. Even when she got her back on the team, she was hesitant. Once her and Zoe started to get along, she noticed that she really was trying her best.
"Just promise me one thing, Chloe," Marinette said to her, "Don't push yourself here at this school. I heard that it can be pretty harsh at times."
"Of course," Chloe said back, "From what I can tell, this school definitely seems like one of the top hero schools ever. I'll be careful, especially with my Miraculous."
Before Chloe or Marinette could say anything more, there was a knock on the door. Marinette got up to find Adrien standing there looking really excited.
"Adrien, what're you doing here? You don't want to get in trouble with AllMight," Marinette said to him.
"Ye-Yeah, but Marinette," Adrien said back, a little bit out of breath, "Can I show you my room? It's so cool."
Marinette couldn't help but feel a slight blush across her face forming as Chloe walked up to them. Chloe crossed her arms, knowing full well that they had something going on between them.
"Go on, Marinette," Chloe said as she hung up her school uniform in her open closet, "I need to get some rest anyway. Don't want to go to school without some beauty rest."
Marinette and Adrien left Chloe to it, and they headed towards the elevator. She didn't realize that she would have to go back down to the first floor and enter a different elevator to go the boys dorms. It a while to get over there so it was kind of quiet between the two of them. She didn't mind since it was finally time to settle down for bed soon. Once they got into the other elevator, Marinette noticed that he was on the same floor as her. Adrien stared at the map of the dormitory as they waited to get to his room.
"This place is huge! I didn't realize how big these dormitories were until AllMight gave these to us," Adrien said to her, "There are even rooms that aren't assigned to anyone."
"That's probably because our class is smaller than others," Marinette said to him.
"You know, it's kind of nice to not have to wear our masks here," Adrien said back, "I know you don't like it, but it feels kind of refreshing. We don't have to find a place to hide or make up lame excuses to go transform."
"Yeah. It is kind of nice," Marinette said, "It still feels weird. I bet it'll feel even weirder tomorrow during classes."
"Everyone will know who we are even without the mask," Adrien said to her, "I'd say that's pretty cool."
"Maybe..." Marinette said a little nervously.
Once the elevator opened, Adrien grabbed her hand and pulled her out of it. She followed him down the hallway and stopped when they got to his room. She then noticed that his room was next to Nino's. Adrien's eyes lit up, and she knew that his room was going to be pretty cool. He opened the door, and she was surprised to see it completely different from his room from back in Paris.
It looked like a room that Cat Noir would have. The black and green really made it stand out as a room made for him. His bed, desk and chair all fit really well with the theme. She even noticed the little bed next to his pillow for Plagg and knew right away that everyone got that treatment with their Kwamis. He even had some snacks for Plagg just like her and Chloe. Marinette noticed that he had extra batons hanging up on his wall, and even had a place to hang up his school uniform and gauntlets. The some of the lights in his room even had a green neon look to them.
"Wow! This is..." Marinette trailed off, looking speechless.
"I know, right?" Adrien said back with a big smile, "It's so cool! I just expected something plain and simple, but this... This is crazy!"
"We really need to thank the teachers somehow," Marinette said with a smile, "They did all of this. Mr. Aizawa knew what he was doing considering he was with us for a couple months in Paris."
Marinette entered his room and sat on his bed. Adrien couldn't stop smiling as he sat next to her. As Marinette looked around, she remembered that he had a piano in his room back in Paris. She kind of missed it.
"Your room is so different from the one back in Paris," Marinette said to him, "It looks like something that you would want for your room, not your father. I do admit it though, I kind of miss your piano. We didn't even get to play together. It would've been nice to learn from you before leaving."
Adrien looked at it, and Marinette could tell that she was right. Marinette felt so bad for Adrien back in Paris. Now seeing him out of his house and Paris, she could tell that he really needed this. Something about being around Class 1-A and their teammates made him feel more at home. She smiled, finally feeling really happy for him.
"I'm really glad that you're here, Adrien," Marinette said to him as she placed her hand on top of his, "I don't think that I could do this without you."
Adrien smiled at her and felt himself lean in to kiss her. Marinette pulled back, remembering that AllMight was around. She didn't want to get anyone in trouble on the first night staying here. She felt her cheeks heat up as she pulled away from him.
"I'm sure Chloe is liking her space," Adrien said to change the subject, "It looked pretty different from her room back in Paris, but I liked it. It fits her very well."
"Yeah. She's really excited about tomorrow," Marinette said to him, "I'm kind of excited myself. When do we ever get a chance like this?"
"I'd say never, but we seemed to get involved with pretty weird and crazy things lately," Adrien said back.
"That's true," Marinette said to him with a laugh.
Marinette soon felt a yawn coming on and stood up from his bed. She walked back to his door, but felt Adrien grab her hand very gently. She looked back to see him looking at her with such longing eyes. Her heart fluttered once she looked into them, and he leaned into her ear.
"When we get home, I'd love to play you something on the piano," Adrien whispered, "Maybe even teach you."
Marinette couldn't help but smile at how sincere he was being with her. She leaned in and kissed him on the cheek.
"That'd be nice," Marinette whispered back, "Goodnight Adrien."
"Goodnight Marinette."
Soon enough, Marinette was back in her room and getting ready for bed. She couldn't stop smiling as she laid on her new bed.
Marinette couldn't wait to start first day at U.A. with her friends.
Another amazing chapter!
This was a really fun chapter to write! I just really liked the idea of everyone from Miraculous to have dorm rooms! I always thought that Marinette's room would be similar to hers from back home! Adrien's however would be more like Cat Noir since he always felt trapped because of his father. As for Chloe's, I really like hers being more like Queen Bee since she's kind of inspired to be a superhero! With my version of Chloe and her missing Zoe, I like that she's kind of now a mix of her and her own hero!
Also, I love Mr. Aizawa, and I love how much he cares about his students!
Marinette and Chloe as friends is starting to grow on me! Especially with Alya not being in this story! I wanted her to be, but I just thought that it would make things interesting if she stayed behind.
I don't know if we'll see anyone else's, we will see!
More to come soon!
