Luke travels to the past.

The X-wing drifted slowly through space. Its lights and engines were out as well as R2D2 who was also dark and silent. Luke rolled his head from side to side. He just found out that Darth Vader was his father. "Why had he fallen to the dark side? "Luke asked himself. After getting his new hand Luke needed to clear his mind so he took off in his X-wing. He flew to an outlying system and when he started to jump to lightspeed his hyperdrive malfunctioned. The ship was surrounded by a s strange energy field and jumped to hyperspace. The X-Wing reappeared in an unknown system and its lift support systems were failing so the computer put Luke into Stasis.
The X-wing fell in the gravitational pull of a nearby sun. It started shaking violently as it fell towards the sun. Luke still asleep was rattled around in the cockpit. Suddenly three blue beams grabbed on to the starfighter and surrounded it with a blue forcefield. The now blackened X-wing was pulled into a larger ship by the beams. A yellow claw grabbed on the back of the X-wing. A large drill made a hole in the side window and Luke saw a light floating in front of him. "A droid of some kind checking on him. "Luke thought. A yellow arm with a big saw blade began to cut around the canopy. When it finished the canopy was picked up by another claw and then Luke still in his seat was carried up by one and Artoo by another. The burned and blackened X-wing was dropped into the sun where it burned up.
Luke woke in a hospital bed like the one he used on Hoth after his bacta treatment. A woman in a white outfit came to visit him. "Leia!" Luke shouted. "I am not Leia. I am Padme Amidala, former queen and now senator of Naboo. "Padme said. "You remind me of her in that white outfit and you are as short as her. "Luke said. "You are fine. We found you falling into Naboo's sun. "Padme said. Artoo rolled into the room. "Your droid is interesting. "Padme said. "Artoo I am glad you are okay. "Luke said. "R2D2 is my droid, and he is on Naboo. How did you get him? "Padme asked. "He was Leia's droid until my uncle bought him from some Jawas on Tatooine. "Luke explained. "He remembers me. However, he claims I died 20 years ago. "Padme said. "Senator Amidala died on Empire Day 20 years ago when the galactic empire was founded. Her death was mysterious, and no one seems to know how and why she died. "Luke explained.
"Galactic Empire? The Republic runs the Galaxy. "Padme replied. "I need a drink. "Luke said as he force pulled a cup to his hand. "Are you a jedi? "Padme asked. "Not quite. I lost my lightsaber fighting Darth Vader on Cloud City. "Luke said. "Who is Darth Vader? "Padme asked. '" He is my father Anakin Skywalker. "Luke answered. "Anakin Skywalker is not a Sith Lord. We checked your DNA and confirmed you are Anakin Skywalker's son. That is not possible. You would have been born before he was conceived. "Padme explained.
Artoo beeped and chirped at Luke. "What is it Artoo? "Luke asked. "We went back in time. How far did we go. 24 years! "Luke shouted. "Who rules this empire in your time? "Padme asked. "Palpatine. He rules it with an iron fist. "Luke said. "Palpatine is the Chancellor of the senate not an emperor. "Padme shouted. "Not now but sometime in the future he becomes emperor. "Luke answered. "We contacted the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, and they are shocked as well. You will be going there soon. "Padme explained. "Are you coming with me? "Luke asked. "No. I will come later. There are threats to my life for foiling the trade federation invasion. "Padme explained. "Guess you need to get some security together first. "Luke said. "I have my ways of dealing with it. "Padme smiled.
