Prompt: photo shoot

"Over here, Minister Riddle!" She called raising the camera. He glanced in her direction and that was enough. Pressing the shutter, her camera captured the brief winsome smile he let cross his features. She fought not to roll her eyes at the youngest Minister for Magic.

Minister Riddle was already turning back to his cabinet members. Crouch Jr. in particular clapped a hand on the Minister's shoulder. She smirked, a two for one opportunity. Hermione took a second photo.

Merlin, if this was the muggle world, she could have set up a proper photo shoot. But, no. At eleven, Hermione had become enmeshed in this farce of a world. Yes, farce.

As a muggle born, her ambitions didn't matter. She had been top of her class at Hogwarts. Yet, the best job she could get after graduation was as a paparazzo.

Thankfully, Hermione had a plan. With the first photo, she had the shot that she could sell to the Daily Prophet. And the second …

Hermione ducked her head and began to fight through the crowd in the Ministry's atrium.

Her second photo with both Riddle and Crouch Jr. would join the wall. She was close to mastering the magic behind family tapestries - and more importantly - tweaking that very magic. It would allow her will to influence the subjects of the photos once they were woven into her new tapestry.

Smirking to herself, Hermione was unaware of the eyes that darted back to her retreating figure for a second look.
