Chapter 35 Dark Owl
I don't own Kamen Rider Ryuki or Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.
After class Jin was walking out to the streets with Alix and she said:"say what are you going to do Jin?"
"Oh well I'm free today since Marinette has the first shift."Jin said.
"Cool, so wanna hang out at the park?"Alix asked.
"Sure."Jin said and he goes to his bike that was parked and she puts on her skates, they then raced to the park together, they then went around it and saw a ice cream cart so they got one for each of them, they then sat at a bench.
"So how is your ice cream?"Jin asked.
"It's good."Alix said.
They then saw someone pass by and Jin saw it was Kagami."Oh hey, Kagami."she then looks at him.
"Jin."she then goes up to them holding a kendo sword.
"You know her?"Alix asked.
"Yeah, Alix this is Kagami, I met her in fencing practice."Jin said.
"Oh yeah, you joined the team."Alix said."So what's up?"
"Yes, good day to you Alix, it seems you are Jin's friend."Kagami said.
"Yeah, we hang out sometimes like this."Alix said.
"So did you just leave practice?"Jin asked Kagami.
"Yes."she then smiles.
They heard a cat and looked to see one stuck on a tree.
"Oh poor cat."Jin sees the mother and son at the bottom.
They then saw a superhero owl go up to the mother and son."Hoo-hoo! Well, Mrs. Michelle. Has Whiskers got vertigo again? Have no fear! This is the mission for The Owl! Hoo-hoo!"
The trio blinked and Alix said:"didn't I seen him before."
Jin knows who that is, that's Mr. Damocles in a superhero costume, he seen him do this a lot.
Owl takes out a grappling hook." Owl Talons!"he fires but it fails."Hoo-merang!"he throws a boomerang and it goes away.
Alix almost laughs outloud and Kagami said:"this is just sad."
"Um? What exactly are you planning with that?"The mother asked.
"It-it-it takes more than this to persuade The Owl!"he then climbs the tree."Here, kitty, kitty! Come to Owl!"
"Okay, I'll call the fire department."she then takes out her phone.
"No need for that, Mrs. Michelle."He then reaches the top and the cat starts to his."Uh-oh! Whiskers! Stay calm! Come on now!"then Whiskers bites his hand."Ow!"he then falls but then Ladybug saves him with her yo yo and Cat Noir comes with the cat.
"Mr. Dam...um, Owl! This is the fifth time this week we come to your rescue!"Ladybug said.
"You're really going to get hurt one of these days. At least wear a helmet."Cat Noir said.
"But you don't wear helmets."Owl said.
"The riders do."Cat Noir pointed it out and a news van came.
"Oh that's right."Owl said.
"Mr. Owl, we've told you already. It's not the same for us. We're real superheroes!"Ladybug said.
"With real superpowers!"Cat Noir gives whiskers back to his owners."And magic suits."
"I know. But since I was a little boy, I only ever dreamed of becoming a real superhero!"Owl said.
"Okay this is going crazy."Jin said.
"Yes, now I must leave."Kagami then leaves."bye."
"Bye Kagami."they said.
Jin then sees a reporter going up to the Owl.
"Thanks to some advice from my good friends Ladybug and Cat Noir, I am certain I will do better next time!"that made Ladybug and Cat Noir face palm."I will be reviewing my weaponry and engaging in training. Because wherever there's injustice, there's The Owl!"He then takes out a can to make flour cover them."Owl Mist!"then he runs off.
"Any comments, Ladybug and Cat Noir?"Reporter asked them.
"Uh, you know, he's a great guy. But to all the children of Paris, you mustn't copy him, okay? It's very dangerous!"Ladybug said.
"Ladybug's right. So, don't try this at home. Okay, kids?"Cat Noir said.
"But what are the riders thoughts on this?"she asked them.
"Well we talked this with Verde and they think the same."Ladybug said and Jin nodded.
Ladybug and Cat Noir were on top of a rooftop and it was the sun was setting.
"The principal Mr. Damocles has a good heart, but this is bound to end badly."Cat Noir said.
"And we can't spend all our time watching out for him either. It's turning into a full time job!"Ladybug said.
"Perhaps we should convince him to stop trying to be a superhero by... scaring him, for example?"Cat Noir said.
"You fool."they saw Verde jump next to them."Do you want to destroy his dreams."
"Verde is right, maybe we should help him make his dream come true. He said all he wanted was to be a hero, even if it's just for one day."Ladybug said.
"Of course! If we make him a hero for a day like he always dream of, he'll be happy and quit playing this dangerous game. Spot on as usual, my Lady! We just have to figure out how?"Cat Noir said.
"How about I just copy a form."Verde said.
"Good idea."Ladybug said.
Next day after school Verde, Ladybug and Cat Noir were at a phone booth and Verde makes a call.
"Is this The Owl?"Verde asked with a deep voice.
"Who is this? How do you know my secret identity?"he said.
They chuckle a bit and Verde said:"You know me very well, it is I Copycat, I have returned and I've kidnapped Ladybug and Cat Noir!"he then puts the phone up to them.
"Help us, Owl!"Ladybug said.
"Save us, Owl!"Cat Noir said.
"Release them immediately."Owl said.
"Never! And I'll never tell you that I'm holding them at the Place Des Vosges square either!"Verde said.
"Ha! You gave yourself away, Copycat! Now you shall face the feather fear of The Owl! Hoo-hoo!"Owl said and ends the call.
"Question why my Copycat?"Cat Noir asked.
"It's the easiest one to do."Verde said and he puts a card on the visor.
COPY VENT!
He then copies Cat Noir's look."Meow."
"Hey."Cat Noir said making Ladybug chuckle.
They then arrived at the park with them acting while Verde holds a box."Give up, Ladybug and Cat Noir, I have taken your Miraculouses! No one can save you!"
"Oh no, my earrings!"She covers her ears.
"Oh no, we're done!"Cat Noir covers his ring.
They then saw Owl standing on top of a bench.
"Hoo-hoo!"he said.
"Owl!"the trio said.
"Owl Talons! Hoo-hoo!"he takes out his grappling hook and shoots it only for it bounce around and grabs a truck making him get dragged away.
The heroes went up to him and Ladybug said:"Mr. Damocles, are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?"
Verde then facepalms."you stupid idiot."
"I am not Mr. Damocles! I am The Owl!"He then poses but realized something."You've revealed my secret identity!"he then cries.
"We're sorry Mr...Owl. We didn't mean to!"Ladybug said.
"Don't take it the wrong way!"Cat Noir said.
Owl runs away crying, but he trips onto a bench along the way which causes people to laugh at him.
Verde changes back and goes up to them."Why couldn't you keep your mouth shut for his name."
"Now we just have to hope no one hears about it."Cat Noir said.
"You just jinxed us."Verde said.
Later Jin was sitting at a bench looking at his phone and he sees everyone laughing at Mr. Damocles."Poor guy."
Then it changed to show a super villain."Citizens of Paris, listen to me very carefully!"it then shows a city bus dangling off the Eiffel Tower."With just one slight movement, I can release a rope holding onto a city bus and all the animals inside will crash down upon this poor helpless little kitten!"he then shows the animals and kitten.
"This is a serious problem."Jin said shocked.
"And if anyone should be 'tempt to come and save the animals, beware! It is all rig! Liquid nitrogen will automatically douse the feet of the Eiffel Tower, freezing them to -700 degree, and making them more fragile than glass! They will collapse! And the bus will flatten our cute kitten friend!"Dark Owl said and he laughs."Ladybug, Cat Noir the only way you can save these sweet animals is to come and hand your Miraculouses over to me! And you only have 10 minutes! Follow the Owl-Signal!"it then ends.
Jin then runs to a alley to enter mirror world and he takes out Verde's deck again, he makes the belt appear and said:"henshin."he then transforms into Kamen Rider Verde.
At nigth Ladybug, Cat Noir and Verde ran to a roof and saw the signal in the sky.
"Wow, that principal sure is holding a grudge."Ladybug said.
"Yeah, we definitely ruffled his feathers."Cat Noir said.
"We must think of a plan to get the detonator."Verde said.
"If you want, I can distract him with a little chit-chat."Cat Noir said.
"It is the best thing you can do sidekick."Verde said.
"Hey!"Cat Noir said making Ladybug laugh.
She then takes out a ear communicator and puts it on her ear along with Cat Noir."Let's stay in touch."
She and Verde went to different sides while Cat Noir went to the stadium and it was dark."Hoo-hoo! Mr. Damocles?"then the lights turned on.
"I am not Mr. Damocles! I am the Dark Owl!"he said.
"Let's talk about this. Why don't we just team up. After all, you do have real powers now."Cat Noir said.
Dark Owl then looks around."Where is Ladybug?"
"Ladybug will be here any minute."Cat Noir said.
Verde then puts a card on his visor.
CLEAR VENT!
He turns invisible and sneaks towards Dark Owl.
"Then you can be the first to place your Miraculous in the box located in the middle of the stadium or..."Dark Owl said.
"Boom! Okay, I get it."Cat Noir walks towards it.
Verde was close and Ladybug throws her yo yo hitting the detonator away."Over to you, Cat."
Cat Noir catches it and Verde ran towards them, he then hits Dark Owl many times and he kicks Verde away making get revealed, then the duo fought him, but he throws a boomerang around at the duo and sent them flying into the stadiummaking Cat Noir catch them but he lost the detonator.
Dark Owl catches it and said:"Hoo-Oops! Time flies! This is your last chance to save that helpless kitten!"
"What's he get against cats?"Cat Noir said.
"This isn't what heroes do."Verde said.
"Then give me your Miraculouses! Otherwise you will be to blame! Owl Talons!"he then tangles them with the grapling hook, they saw coming towards them with a punch and they rolled out of the way to avoid it.
"Cataclysm!"Cat Noir touches the rope freeing them.
"It's the end of the line for you!"Dark Owl fights against them.
Ladybug throws her yo yo up."Lucky charm."she then makes a fountain pen and she catches it."A foutain pen?"
"What are you going to do? Ask him to sign you an autograph? I'll deactivate the detonator my lady."Cat Noir went off to turn it off while the dup faced off against Dark Owl.
He goes on top of the crate and presses the button but it didn't work."What?!"
"Hoo-merang!"He throws two Boomerangs making the duo dodge and jump to the crate knocking them back."Albert, activate the hatch!"the heroes then fell inside the crate from a hatch and it closes."I am the guardian of Paris! I am the Dark Owl!"
"The countdown's still running!"Cat Noir said.
"What?!"Verde takes it.
Then the crate starts being filled with cream.
"What is this stuff?"Verde said.
Cat Noir gives it a taste."Mmmm! Tastes like whipped cream."
The clock then hits zero."Oh no!"
"Times up!"A nearby TV screen is turn on."Albert, drop the bus!"the trio gasp in horror as they watches the bus falling to the kitten but then both the kitten and the bus disappeared, much to Ladybug and Cat Noir's confusion."You knaves, it was a hologram all along! So how does it feel to lose for once and be humiliated? Did you really think I would hurt a kitten? This next trap, though, is very real. The room you're in is filling up with whipped cream as we speak! Whipped cream's too thick to swim, but too runny to float on and none reflective."
"I hope it's lactose-free, at least."Cat Noir said.
"You're going to drown! Softly, but surely unless that is you accept defeat and give me your Miraculouses!"Dark Owl said.
She then looks at the pen and camera along with Verde, she then uses the pen to cover the camera with ink.
"Do you really think it'll make a difference if I can't see you, Ladybug. There's no way to escape! If you don't give me the Miraculouses now, I'll simply take them after the Owl Cream has buried you!"Dark Owl said.
Verde thinks about something."Of course."he then looks at them."I read this comic about a hero that has a super computer in his lair, the way he was talking means he much have an AI."
"Good, but how are we going to get out?"Cat Noir asked.
"Simple."Verde takes out his stone."He didn't count for one thing."
Outside Dark Owl laughs but then he sees a glow and punches hitting the crate."What?!"then it bursts open and from it came Junk Warrior.
The heroes exited the crate with Ladybug and Cat Noir stunned.
"Everyone meet Junk Warrior!"Verde said.
"When did you get him?"Cat Noir asked.
"I got him when Ryuki fought Robostus."Verde said."Now let's go."They jumped to Junk Warrior's arms and he flies away to the school.
"No, they found out my secret lair."Dark Owl follows them."Albert, Owl Wings!"he gets pair of wings and flies towards the heroes.
They looked back to see him following them, then Cat Noir jumps at his back."Cat vs bird! Who do you think win this fight?"
"Bird!"Dark Owl said.
He then flies down to a jewelry shop and makes Cat Noir hit the sign.
They then arrived at the office and saw the multiple screans.
"Intrusion! Intrusion! Intrusion!"Albert said.
"A computer! Of course!"Ladybug said.
Then Dark Owl came and drags them to the outside while grabbing Ladybug."Dark Owl always wins at the end! You should have read the end of the comic, Ladybug!"he then goes to take her earings.
HOLD VENT!
Verde then hits him away and he sees Junk Warrior fly up to the sky, Dark Owl then throws a bomb at Junk Warrior making him crash to a building."Ha, not even that hunk of junk can stand up to me."
"Junk Warrior is more than a hunk of Junk, he represents of all us the riders, and I will not allow you to treat him like that."Verde then charges at him.
Junk Warrior felt the bond between him and Verde so his starts to glow, they looked at him and he jumps to the sky becoming Junk Archer.
"He changed!"Ladybug said shocked.
He then points his bow foward and shoots an arrow and it passes through them heading towards Albert.
"No!"Dark Owl goes to save him but the arrow hit's it's mark freeing the Akuma.
Ladybug then opens her yo yo."No more evil doing for you, little akuma. Time to de-evilize."she then throws the yo yo at it catching the Akuma."Gotcha!"She then relases the Akuma."Bye bye, little butterfly.
She then throws the lucky charm to the sky."Miraculous Ladybug!"then it turns into smaller Ladybugs, they fixed all the damage and Dark Owl turns back to normal.
"Pound it."Ladybug and Verde said.
Next day Verde, Ladybug and Cat Noir see Owl helping by calling for help and even saw Kim, Max and Alix take a picture with him.
"Tending to gardens, handing out blankets to homeless people, feeding animals. The Owl really spread his wings."Ladybug said.
"He's a superhero in his own ways."Cat Noir said.
"Yes, he's helping others and he's happy, even got his own fans."Verde said.
"Now we have a bit more spare time on our hands."Ladybug said.
"Feline going to a movie?"Cat Noir asked.
"Sorry, but I've promised a friend that I must hang out with her as soon as I could. See you later, kitty cat."She then swings away.
"You'll get another chance."Verde then goes away while Cat Noir watches her.
Note:Junk Archer appeared with him being the one to stop Dark Owl, Verde decided to help out instead of Alya since he can copy Cat Noir's forms, now to answer the review."To certain guest, looks I get it that it might not be a big as the other chapters but I'm not rushing it, the Gigantitan I can say was rushed but that was because I wasn't comfortable in a fight with a baby, Jin just got a lot better as he grew stronger, when he fought against Toxic a part of him changed since he got scared so he decided to take up his training more seriously since he almost lost that fight, also with more heroes, the Hex Girls, Shinku, the other riders and Junk Warrior the fights are going to be easier unless it's just the main trio."
