Chapter 66 Shanghai part 1

At his room Jin was lying down on his bed sleeping, he then wakes up and looks at his night stand to see the scroll of his ancestor, he takes it to give another read since maybe theres something he missed.
He opens it and looks at a part that he haven't read yet, he saw a symbol of a dragon with two heads with one at the side where a tail would be and a drawing of his ancestor meeting a master bowing before it changed to hims wearing a red and gold outfit with a title there.
"Dragon master?"Jin said.
He reads what his ancestor wrote and it said that he met a old and wise man that showed him the ways of the Dragon Master, he gave him a mystic charm for the first step before he got the power of dragon master even becoming a guardian of a old legendary power.
"Wow."Jin said.
Shinku was behind him."Yes, whatever this dragon master is must be powerful."
"Yeah, I wonder if I got this title I could be able to defeat Another Ryuki."Jin said.
He then goes out and he hears Marinette talking to her parents at the bakery.
"The package! It'll never make it in time!"Sabine said.
"Yes it will, because I'm gonna hand it to uncle Wang myself. You see, because it's high time I visit my uncle in person! Because my uncle- "She trips over the package and gets up."It's my roots. And I've been trying to connect to Adri- I mean, my roots - for so long! And he keeps- I mean, they - keep eluding me. And without him- I mean them - without my roots- I mean, I feel incomplete!"Marinette said.
"Oh I see."Jin narrowed his eyes, Adrien went to Shanghai and now Marinette wants to go there too.
"Marinette, are you saying that... you want to go to Shanghai?!"Sabine said.
"Your mother and I have been waiting for this moment for so long!"Tom said.
"We always thought that one day you'd want to see your ancestors' country to connect with your Chinese family!"Sabine holds her hand.
"We've been putting money aside since the day you were born - enough for a family trip! We were just waiting for you to ask."Tom said opening a box.
Sabine cries a bit."For you to be ready!.. Still, this is a bit sudden!"
"We can't close the bakery now. "Tom said.
"Don't worry."Jin came and he goes to Marinette's side."I'll go with her."
"What?"Marinette got surprised.
"Oh thank you Jin."Sabine said.
"Then you can both go."Tom said.
"Oh thank you."Marinette hugs them.
Later they were on a plane.
Marinette and Jin were sitting together.
"Why did you want to come Jin?"Marinette asked.
"To protect you from doing something reckless with Adrien."He said surprising her."And don't like, I know you."
"Okay fine, still maybe with a few friends."She said.
"Got it covered, I was able to get two of our friends to join us."He said.
"Who?"She got curious.
Iris comes up from behind her."Hi Marinette."
Marinette got surprised and said:"Iris."She then peeks over and saw Hitoshi with his arms crossed."And Hitoshi too."
"Yeah, I wanted to see Shanghai, so looks like it's us four."Iris said.
"Yeah, this will be cool."Marinette said.
They arrived and were in a car with Wang Cheng.
"What a joy to see you again, I'm so happy you've finally made the trip!"Wang said.
"Yes, it's a good thing, and this way you'll get your present on time."Marinette said.
"Your visit with Jin and your friends is my present, Marinette. Your mother told me that you wanted to connect with your roots, and that's the happiest you can make me. The restaurant had a lot of guests planned for this week, but I cancelled everything! I took a vacation for the first time since..."He then looks sad."Since your mother moved to France..."

The group arrived at the Thousand Delights restaurant.
They went in with Wang carrying the box.

"Yes, Bastille, I'm very proud to finally introduce my grandniece Marinette to you!"Wang said.

Jin chuckles at her expression before he goes foward to see a wall of pictures.
"Bastille has always been in the family, look. He was already there with grandpa Yan and granny Mei Chei, and with Xia Bing, your mother."Wang said and they saw a young Sabine hugging Bastille.
"Xia Bing?"Marinette said.
"Yes. She only took the name Sabine when she moved to France."Wang said.
"Wow."Jin said.
"Yeah."Iris said.
"Wow... I've never seen that photo of mom."Marinette said.
"Magic ingredient! Magic ingredient!"Bastille said.
"Yes, Bastille, I haven't forgotten. Do you remember my style of cooking?"Wang asked.
"Yeah, you put a ingredient that fate brings you."Jin said.
"And today, fate has brought you four."Wang said surprising them.
"But... I don't have any ingredients on me."Marinette said.
Iris thinks of something."Maybe we can find one around the city."
"Wait, good idea."Marinette said while looking at her phone.
"Aren't you afraid of getting lost? You don't even speak Mandarin!"Wang said.
"That's why we brought him."Jin points at Hitoshi.
The android guy has a built in translator in him.
"Very well, but don't go too far. You can find everything you need in the neighborhood."They ran off together.I'm sure our meal tonight will be very special indeed!"
The group was walking around the streets and Iris looks at Marinette's phone to see Adrien.
"You want to put Adrien in a soup?"Iris chuckles.
"Of course not, Iris. We're gonna look for a magic ingredient and make most of our little walk to go say hi to Adrien."Marinette said.
"Don't you mean ni hao."Jin chuckles.
"You speak Mandarin?"Marinette was surprised.
"Hitoshi knows a lot of languages so I learned a bit from him."Jin said and they saw Hitoshi reading the signs.
"Well looks like we'll have to look for Adrien since your going to bug us to go."Jin chuckles.
"Hey."Marinette said.
Jin then saw a old man wearing a old chinese master robe walking around, he then almost falls until Jin caught him."Are you okay sir?"
"Yes, thank you young man."he smiled.
"Hey you can speak English."Marinette said.
"Of course, I traveled around, you learn a few things."He looks at Jin."My name is Chin."
"Oh, I'm Jin Kujo."He said.
He smiled at that name."I see, well Jin, I can tell you have a great destiny ahead of you."he walks off.
"What did he mean?"Iris asked and they shrugged.
Jin then saw a piece of paper fly away from his pocket."Oh no, I'll call you guys later."he chases after it.
"What was that?"Marinette said.
"His lessons."Hitoshi said.
Jin runs after that piece of paper."Get back here!"he then crashes into a Chinese girl of average height and slender build who has very dark blue-violet hair aside from a streak of strong amaranth down the left side of her head and her hair was tied in a ponytail.
"Sorry about that."He helps her up and picks up the piece of paper, they were about to go until he grabbed her arm surprising her."Nice try."he takes out his wallet.
She then goes to punch but he blocked it with a arm and she kicks but he leans back, she then throws many punches and kicks making him dodge them before he spin kicks her back.
"How did you?"she said.
"Simple when you lived alone you tend to pick up a few tricks."He said.
She got surprised and frowns, she walks away until he said:"So what's your name?"She stopped looking down.
"Fei."She said.
"Well Fei I'm Jin, I can tell you hate what your doing, so why steal?"He said.
"You don't know me."She said.
"Really."He takes out his scroll and she looks at her pockets."Trying to steal my family scroll."She got shocked to heat that."I can see that matters to you, family that is, look I might know what happened but I can understand about honor and family."
She looks at him in the eyes and said:"Alright, tell me."
"Follow me."He said and they walked through a alley alone."Let me guess you lost something important."
She looks down and he saw tears coming out from her eyes, he puts a hand on her chin and she looks at him."Look, I know this life your doing isn't good for you, trust me, I know, I stole something to survive but I stopped that in time, it's not too late for you."he grabs her by the shoulders."Fei, I know this is hard, maybe youur trying to get something back but is this really the right way."
"No, but I don't have any other way."She said.
"Yes you do, look if you need someone."he gives her his number."Just give me a call and we'll talk."
"Why do you care about me this much?"She asked.
"What can I say, it's just in my nature to help others."He chuckles."Even for a pretty girl."
She then blushes at his words."Oh thanks."
"Your welcome, now I gotta go find my friends."He walks away."Think about it Fei."He runs off.
She watches him leave and smiles, she then frowns before going away, she then walks foward and sees Adrien with Marinette nearby.
With Chin
He arrived at a old temple and he goes inside a room to see many dragon statues and he arrives a dragon with a fire coming out from his mouth.
"It seems your descendent has come, soon a new Dragon Master will be born again."Chin said.
Then fire made a shadow of a band before it shines gold.
Note:heres the first part of Shanghai, I decided to put it here and Jin met Fei before Marinette, he also met this wise master who he is will be revealed later, now to answer the reviews:"Bravenwolf yes I do and I'll think about it and Guest that's a hard question to answer."
