Prologue: Sweet Dreams

"Huh, these bots are not as impressive. Shame," the cloaked figure draws out staff to create a barrier of energy to block the incoming laser bolts. "Get out of my way," the barrier converts into a single point unleashing a large beam of energy and demolishing the Badnik army.
"The intruder is moving through the guards, preparing base lockdown," the Egg Pawn activates the entire base into Lockdown mode as the hallways are airtight with security blast doors and Laser barriers.
"Child's Play," the figure steps into the shadows. The Doctor cannot see the guy on the cameras anymore.
"What the hell?" Where is the intruder?" Eggman pondered.
"The subject can use magic and it's very potent with this," the Egg Pawn said as suddenly the room started shaking violently.
"What is the name of…" before Eggman can finish several spears of crystal magically appear from the floor impaling all of Robotnik's guards.
"Good Evening Julian Ivo Robotnik," the cloaked figure appears out of the shadows the doctor is surprised by this.
"Who are you? If you try to threaten me say my name right. It's just Ivo Robotnik," Eggman said as the person wields his staff for energy to emit from it. Robotnik is nailed to the floor as he looks down seeing his feet encased in green crystal. Robotnik is now in a state of panic.
"Robotnik, you are a mere shell of the person I despise the most. Who conquered an entire planet and controlled it for over a decade. Who manages to defeat the hog not once but multiple times and yet you can't even hold a few bases? You're pathetic," the figure said as the crystals started slowly creeping up the doctor's body with each passing second.
"What are you talking about, you're shouting nonsense," Robotnik got annoyed as the cloaked wizard pressed the tip of the staff with the gem on top for the crystal to suddenly go up faster than before.
"As a man of logic or in this case lack thereof; you know of the existence of the Multiverse where all possibilities and choices become real. Have you haven't guessed yet, I don't come from this Mobius but another," the cloaked man said pressing his staff against Eggman's girth.
"You're from another Mobius?" Eggman can't believe what he is hearing as the crystals are engulfing around his chest.
"Yes, due to my world's Sonic. He uses the power of those Chaos emeralds and 'banished' me to this Mobius delaying my revenge against my world's Robotnik for his betrayal. I'll turn my misgivings into blessings and as for you." The crystals are at his neck as he's beginning to lose oxygen, "You may not be the Robotnik I loathe. Yet getting rid of you will soothe my soul."
The crystals encase Eggman in a prism of hard crystal for the figure to open his palm and then close it into a fist. The crystal prison explodes like a bomb for blood-stained crystal fragments and body parts rain down around the cloaked wizard.
"That's a minor pest taking care of," the wizard can sense a presence right behind him, "Come on. I know you're there." The wizard can see a blue metal hedgehog and he recognizes it. "You're Metal Sonic, one of the Doctor's creations; you are here to avenge him because that's not a very good course of action against me," he said.
The cloaked figure looks on as Metal knells before him, "You have defeated Robotnik as such you are my new master."
"Excellent my metal friend, we have must work to do to complete my plan on getting back my world and taking down the Robotnik of my world," the figure sees the metal hedgehog approaching him.
"I need to know the name of my new master, so I can rewrite Robotnik's command code," Metal Sonic said as the figure unveiled his cloak revealing a bat-like face with a horn sticking out of his forehead. His piercing red eyes look like they can cut into Metal's mind for him to place his lobster claw on the robot's head.
"I'm known as one of the greatest wizards from my home dimension but you can call me Ixis Naugus," he said with a gleeful laugh.
Meanwhile, several weeks have passed since Eggman was not sighted. G.U.N HQ, Team Dark is in the main research center trying to investigate Eggman's disappearance. "Rouge, what you got so far?" Shadow asked as they browsed through the internet for any sort of news relating to the doctor.
"Nothing really, except some robberies of different warehouses and museums across several different cities. They seem random at best," Rouge said as Omega browsed through the web and found no data on the subject matter.
"No sufficient data," Omega said as he jacked out of the system making Shadow and Rouge even more puzzled by this.
"Where has the doctor gone? It's only been 7 weeks since Sonic and his team beat him, he must be in hiding and planning his next move," Shadow said as something came up on the large computer screen.
"Look at this, there is a new display at the museum called the Manuscripts of Onyx. It's a really big hit in the past few days," Rouge said as Shadow dismissed the display.
"It's all a myth, I doubt the Doctor could use that anyways," Shadow said as he continued to browse through the network. "I hope we find out where he is or we may be in for a dreadful surprise," Shadow thought.
Elsewhere within the warehouse sector of Station Square, the Chaotix members are on the scene of the crime. "What I don't get it Vector, why rob a place and leave everything behind?" Charmy asked as Vector felt quite annoyed by the bee's constant questions. They are searching through the debris caused by the breakout.
"I guess that's why we are paid by the company to check this out," Vector said.
Mighty using his super strength moves a large fridge and puts it back into place. "Charmy got a point; everything is left untouched. Got any bright ideas about what these guys were looking for?" Mighty asked as Espio was playing with his dagger by balancing the point of the blade on his finger.
Espio goes up to a crate using his dagger to open it up revealing a bunch of artifacts. "These were from another museum. Priceless gems and ancient treasures, they might be looking for something like that but didn't find it," Espio wondered
."Thanks for your ninja skills once again Espio, I couldn't have figured it out myself," Vector acts sarcastically as he presses down on his earpiece. "Yo Knux and Shade, you lovebirds find anything yet?" he asked.
"Nothing yet Vector in the other warehouse. Just more stones and artifacts locked in crates wonder if they hit the wrong place," Shade said as the light orange echidna hopped off a crate with Knuckles browsing through the ruined warehouse.
"Man, Vector do you think this is just some random break-in?" Knuckles said on the radio.
"On the cameras, they were a bunch of hoodlums but the guys can't ID them like they don't exist. This is getting weirder every minute," Vector said as Charmy was confused by this.
"GUN or anyone has files on those guys?" Charmy asked.
"Nope, nothing at all; no paperwork, no iIDs nothing. These guys must be good at working off the grid. We should report what we got to our employer," Espio said as the Chaotix members met up in the middle of the division with them heading for the offices of the warehouse sector.
Elsewhere Sonic and Tails were hanging out with his longtime girlfriend/teammate Mina Mongoose performing a concert at the Station Square Shopping Center. Her voice is booming with excitement with her fans wanting to check out their favorite pop star's performance.
"Wow, she is killing it out there," Tails said as he enjoyed her music as the Pop Star danced on stage with her voice overwhelming the crowd
."Indeed, this rocks," Sonic said as they had backstage passes to watch from behind the stage. He admires her stage outfit consisting of a purple and black tank top, a purple-colored mini skirt, and green thigh-high boots.
"Come on everyone. Say my name," Mina said as her fans shouted her name. "Alright, Mina Sonmoose is happy to have you here with me," Mina said as her fans roared with cheers. "By the way, my boyfriend and worldwide hero Sonic the Hedgehog is here to support me and wants to say hey to you all today," Mina said as her fans roared even louder about this.
"Well, time for my grand entrance," Sonic said with a cocky grin as he goes outside on stage for the world's most well-known power couple Sonic the Hero and Mina the Heroine who defeated Eggman together.
"You are so cute together," a female fan said as Mina went to hug Sonic and kiss him on the cheek.
"Yes, we are and I want to make this last song for the love of my life. Sonic the Hedgehog, I am going to blow your socks off sweetheart," Mina said as the music kicked in as she tapped her feet. Sonic standing there being bewitched by her beauty and movements.
Her long silky purple hair danced against the wind, her stage outfit fitting her curvaceous frame, her skirt flowing with her legs in a graceful dance. She gets ready to sing her latest song which is deeply inspired by her love for Sonic called 'You're My Number 1'.
"When the day is done. When the race is won. My life has only just begun. When you're next to me. So much more I can see. There's nowhere that I'd rather be," Mina is empowered by her feelings for Sonic to perform elegant dancing movements making the crowd kick up with excitement and Sonic stunned by her heartfelt words.
"Sonic is so lucky, Mina is pouring her heart into this," Tails said as he always noticed Mina always performs best when she is working with Sonic, especially on their missions against Eggman.
"When I'm away from you. And there's nothing I can do. Do you think the same things too? When the time has come. I don't want you to run. You know that you're the only one," Mina's voice soars into the crowd and Sonic can't move getting trapped within Mina's beautiful green eyes.
She begins to go closer to Sonic closing the distance between them pretty slowly. "All I need is you. For always and forever. All you need is me. Remember when I say. All we need is love For us to be together. Cause you're my number one," she oozes her feelings with every word as Sonic feels weak from this passionate display of open affection for him.
Everyone is watching this concert via a Livestream with humans and mobians alike enjoying the song and connecting with Mina's emotions etched into each verse.
"All I need is you. For always and forever. All you need is me. Remember when I say. All we need is love. For us to be together. Cause you're my number one," Mina goes closer within halfway to being near her love.
"Mina, her voice is amazing. I can't stop staring at her," Sonic said as her swaying hips and big green eyes trapped him in place.
"At the end of each day or whenever you're away. There are always things I want to say. But wherever you go you will always know. That I've got so much more to show," Mina gets right up to Sonic to hug him nice and tight.
She looks deeply into his eyes. The crowd holds their breath to see what happens next with Tails enjoying this lovely performance. Mina places her hands on his cheeks to stroke them gently.
"It was such a surprise when I looked into your eyes It's only then I realized. You're the one for me. No one else I want to see. There's no place I would rather be," Mina finishes her performance with a kiss on the lips as they enjoy a warm embrace.
The crowd explodes echoing their excitement with the Pop Idol and hero joined together in this tender moment in front of the whole world. Mina lets go of the kiss as she sports a big grin Sonic looks speechless.
"How was that baby?" she asked as Sonic's dumbfounded for the performance was flawless. "Oh, speechless. The great Sonic was speechless, my performance did knock your socks off," she said as she gave a sexy little wink.
"It sure did," Sonic said as they both looked at the crowd in awe at this delightful display of love and affection.
"Thank you, everyone. This is all I can do for today. Thank you for coming," Mina said as they went backstage as she hugged him and kissed him repeatedly. "Gee, I was so nervous out there," she said as Sonic was confused by this.
"Well, you don't seem like it," Sonic said.
"When I am with you, I can do anything especially if I am singing a song about you and me," Mina said.
"That song was wonderful, I loved it," Sonic said as Mina deepened their hug.
"That is the best praise I had all day," Mina said as she kissed him on the lips. "Come on, you two. We should hit a restaurant. My treat," Mina said with the two men getting excited.
"Oh, you are talking my language," Sonic said.
"I know a good place that sells very good chill dogs," Mina said as she used his magic word to get his full attention.
"I love you, Mina, you know that," Sonic said earnestly as Mina giggled at this.
"I know baby, come. Let's go," she said as they went off to the restaurant.
Amy and Cream were in the crowd to see Sonic being kissed by Mina. Amy is pretty envious of Mina as Cream was dumbfounded by Mina's performance. "That was so amazing. You think you too Amy," Cream looks over to see Amy looking quite down from this.
"I can sing a cute love song too," Amy protested as Cream pressed her fingers together.
"I doubt it when you sang last time. My ears couldn't take it," Cream said.
"Gee, just my luck," Amy said as they went off in the distance with nighttime coming into Station Square.
A day later, Sonic sits on top of a building enjoying the beautiful sights of Station Square while the orange sun lies against the horizon. "Man, it's been several weeks since we kick Egghead's ass. Guess he went up and quit, too bad it's going to be quite boring with him not making a fool of himself," Sonic pondered.
Sonic sits in his long chair enjoying the cool autumn breeze blowing his quills along with the wind as he plays with a pearl white locket. "I better get back home before I fall asleep on this chair," Sonic rushes into the building and appears on the street rushing through crowds of Mobians and Humans on the sidewalk.
He stops at the door of a large ten-story apartment complex, "Home sweet home." Sonic goes inside and gets into an elevator heading for the 5th floor.
"I hate this elevator; I would take the stairs if they weren't being remade," Sonic is tapping his foot being very impatient as the elevator stops on the third floor. A pair of Mobian girls along with a middle-aged human man got inside for the elevator to continue upward. The two girls notice him as they scream in delight.
"Sonic the Hedgehog, right; you're way more handsome in person," a grey Hedgehog female said as she leaned next to him.
"All say you were great on the news. Handsome and brave," a red female vixen said as the two flirted with the blue blur. Sonic notices the man is intently looking at the Station Square Times newspaper with the headline. 'Uncertain Times: Is this a time of peace or a delayed timetable before the devilish Dr. Eggman would strike again.'
"Hey Sonic, how about you come with me and my friend for some drinks," the grey hedgehog said as Sonic backed away from the girl getting defensive.
"Look ladies that sounds nice but I'm already with someone. Someone special to me," Sonic said as he gripped the locket tightly in his gloved hand.
"You mean that pop star wannabe. her songs are so dull," the hedgehog girl said.
"I know right, it drags on for some long," the vixen said as Sonic is pissed with this.
"At least Mina is using her music to inspire people and brighten up these dark days when Eggman went on a rampage with his robots in the past. Also, she is one of my partners who aided me in defeating Eggman. Show her some respect," Sonic said giving them a nasty look.
The elevator stops on the fourth floor and the girls begin walking out there. "Man, can't believe a big shot like Sonic has a ditz as a girlfriend," the grey hedgehog said as the elevator headed for the fifth floor.
Sonic calms down as he leans against the back of the elevator. "Can't believe this bullshit; after what she's done," Sonic muttered.
"I remember that day when that wicked Eggman attacked Station Square 3 years ago, that young woman saved my life from being crushed by that robot walker. She might look gentle but she has the heart of a heroine that a young lady has deep down. You are a lucky guy," the man said.
"Thanks, if Mina heard that she would appreciate what you said," Sonic felt a little better himself from the man's kind words as the elevator stopped at his floor. "Have a nice day old-timer," Sonic said.
"Have a nice evening Sonic," the man said goodbye as Sonic headed down the hallway with him taking out his keys from his keychain and slipping them into the doorknob.
He sees the door is already open for the door to slowly move with Sonic heading to their bedroom being very cautious. "This could be Eggman getting his revenge, knew the egghead didn't just slip back into the dark," he said.
Sonic turns on the lights seeing the living room with junk all over the floor. "Man, I need to clean this mess up," Sonic thought as he remained focused looking out for anything suspicious.
Sonic looks over to the couch and flips over the cushions finding nothing of value. "Maybe it's just my imagination; Eggman never does the sneaky approach anyway," Sonic is easing up as a pair of small hands holds the sides of his belly.
Sonic jumps as he quickly turns and faces the person who sneaks into his apartment building. "Don't get so jumpy Blue, it's just me," a gentle voice said as Sonic was instantly relief by the sight of this beautiful yellow mongoose.
"Girl, you scared the crap out of me; I thought you were one of Eggman's Egg Pawns who got into our place," Sonic said.
"I didn't mean to scare you; I wanted to surprise you. Guess it works," Mina walks over to the couch with Sonic following after. Sonic sits beside his girlfriend as he stares at the wonderful blue knee-length dress forming around her round plump breasts, curvy lower body, and shapely waist with her waist-length purple hair tied in a side ponytail.
"You look wonderful in that dress, a special occasion perhaps?" Sonic asked as Mina got rosy on her white furry muzzle.
"Well, actually it is. Today is a special day, you do remember right?" Mina asked as Sonic tried to remember what she meant, "You forgot didn't you?" the Songoose raised her eyebrows.
"Well of course I don't, babe." Sonic is struggling to remember as she playfully punches him in the arm.
"You dummy, it's 6 years since we have known each other," Mina said as Sonic snapped his fingers and realized it.
"Oh right, sorry. Been on edge today, some jerks were picking on you; I had to put them straight," Sonic feeling angry at those girls from before. Mina frowns as she holds her hero's hand and looks at him with bright blue eyes.
"I thank you Sonic for always sticking up for me. Sometimes it gets me so angry when people poke fun at my music but it doesn't bother me as much as when I was younger," Mina said.
"Forgot them, you're a wonderful person. They're too stupid to figure it out for themselves," Sonic wraps his arm around her shapely waist as Ms. Mongoose kisses her mate on the cheek.
"You're so sweet to me, Blue you know that," Mina uses Sonic's pet name as she cuddles up with him on the couch.
"Back then, you pull me out of a dark place back then. I'm forever grateful Sonic," Mina said.
"You were worth it in the end," Sonic said as he gripped the pendant tightly around his neck looking fondly at it, "We should go out somewhere for the occasion, do you think?" Sonic asked as the yellow mongoose's face brightened up.
"We should head out for the Station Square Museum; they got some new displays showing there. Can you go with me there please?" Mina looks into his eyes for Sonic can see she's making puppy dog eyes.
"Sure, I might learn a thing or two. Let's go." Mina is pretty giddy as they go on a date to the Museum. "Let's head off before it gets crowded," Mina said sounding very excited.
Sonic and Mina are going through the streets holding each other's hands with the moon taking over the night sky. "I'm so excited about this," Mina is jumping for joy as Sonic finds this amusing.
"You're cute when you geek out like that," Sonic teased as Mina felt embarrassed by this.
"I can't help myself, you know that," the couple arrives at the Station Square Museum with the guard at the door. "I have a pass; I'm allowed a guest with me," Mina said.
"Yes Miss Mongoose, we are very familiar with you. You and your date can go through," the guard lets them inside as the couple goes inside.
"Let's look around," Mina drags Sonic through the halls and makes their way to the Material section. The genius Vixen looks around with her big blue eyes lit up from looking at the different stones. "This is a Vexx stone, it is about half as hard as a diamond. Created from high heat and pressure under a volcano," Mina said.
Sonic and Mina walk out of the material section and go into the Dinosaur section as the couple is looking over a T-Rex skeleton. "Dinosaurs, now these are cool," Sonic said.
"Did you know that a T-Rex's jaw can tear off whole sections of flesh from a plant eater?" Mina said.
"Hope Eggman doesn't revive one and turn it into a cyborg. We would be screwed," Sonic and Mina share a laugh as they move onto one of the newer displays.
"Sonic, take a look at this," Mina shows Sonic a pair of stone tablets locked in glass cases. "These are the Manuscripts of Onyx. Pretty cool huh," Sonic goes up to one of the cases and stares at the stone tablet.
"This language looks pretty old," Sonic said.
"Yes, it's dated back 5,000 years ago based in an old society based around ancient magic arts involving the natural elements of the world like Earth, Air, Water, and Fire. These people created powerful golems powered by their magic called the Onyx Horde," Mina said as Sonic was puzzled by this a bit.
"A golem, what the hell is that?" Sonic asked.
"Well, it's an ancient automaton created from powerful enchantments. These things came in all sorts and sizes but they were long forgotten. Even though the text on the tablets, says nothing about where the location of these machines is at. So, it's presumed to be a myth," Mina said.
"Huh, we should check out the other exhibitions," Sonic said for the couple to head for the next display while a mysterious figure watched from afar on top of a rooftop.
"Master, the target is in sight. What is your command?" a monotone voice talked through the radio.
"Go ahead as planned my metal friend," the sinister voice came through the comlink for the unknown individual to rush towards the museum with his eyes trained on the target.
Sonic and Mina finish looking around the museum before them to head for the exit. "Well as always Mina. It's an enlightening trip going out with you," he said.
"Thanks, Blue; you can't be just cute and brave. You need to sharpen your mind as well. You don't want to be slow in the head, do you?" Mina asked.
"Good point; got to think as fast as I run but seriously this is a nice 6th-anniversary outing. I'm glad we can enjoy ourselves today," Sonic said as Mina laid her head on his shoulder. She placed her hand on his chest lightly stroking his furless stomach.
"Same here," the two just got out of the building for them to head back home. "Sonic, when we get to our place. We can stay up late if you know what I mean," the beautiful mongoose gives her mate a sexy wink as Sonic puts his hand on her waist sliding down to her left hip.
"I can't wait for that babe," Sonic and Mina plan their little 'meeting' as the unknown figure speeds towards the museum for him to crash through the window on the top floor.
The alarms blazed throughout the entire building as security guards drew out their pistols with attached flashlights. "Freeze, put your hands in the air," the person lifts their hands as the guards get a fix on who the person is. Their lights reveal it's a blue robot hedgehog with bright red eyes.
The robot speeds through the room killing off the guards and shoving a kick into the last guard's stomach knocking him into a big pot and breaking it into pieces. "Metal Sonic, find the target and bring it to me," the voice said on the radio for him to fly through the halls turning his left arm into a machine gun.
More guards appear in the passageways but are gunned down by Metal Sonic for him to reach the third floor. "We got a situation here; a Sonic robot double is sighted inside killing everything it sees," the guard is talking with the Police on the phone.
Sonic and Mina can hear the alarms and explosions taking place inside. "A date and a bad guy to bust. This just gets better. Let's go, Mina," Sonic rushes back towards the museum as Mina sighs using her speed to keep up alongside Sonic.
"Always playing the big hero," Mina thought as the battle couple busted through the doors seeing lots of guards' bodies torn to shreds. "Holy crap; who did this?" the two notice Metal Sonic killing more guards as it senses their presence.
"Metal Sonic, I knew Egghead can't be put down that easily," Sonic and Mina get into a combat stance for Metal Sonic to stare at the duo.
"Sonic is here, request I destroy Hedgehog?" Metal asked on the radio as the figure grins hearing what sounds like eagerness in the metal rodent.
"Quite impatient are we but you must locate the target. Only fight the blue one when he gets in your way," Naugus said as Metal Sonic moved away as the two gave chase.
"Metal Sonic didn't attack us, he must be looking for something," Mina said right behind Sonic's tail.
"Yeah, I wonder what he wants this time," Sonic and Mina speed up for Sonic to nail Metal in the back of his head with a Spin Dash getting sent across the room. "Bolt Brain, I don't like being ignored," Metal uses its jets to catch himself as Mina moves in and strikes him with a kick.
Metal blocks her attacks as he counters by launching a flurry of punches. The mongoose manages to evade his blows with her swift reflexes for her to hit the robot across the face knocking it into a wall. "Wow, babe. You're doing pretty well," Sonic complemented Mina to see her skills improve.
"Thanks, Blue. I have been practicing. My legs are pretty strong from all the running we've been doing lately," Mina flushed from her mate's sweet talk as Metal jumped through the hole it made confronting the duo.
"Mettlesome hedgehog as always," Metal Sonic launches balls of energy at the duo for them to move away from the blasts.
"Metal, do not worry about them. Focus on the target," Naugus said as Metal used his jets to propel through the hallways with the duo following behind.
"Metal is heading for the second floor; Sonic cut him off while I follow Metal," Mina said as Sonic gave her a thumbs-up and he headed off another way.
Mina sees Metal Lobs energy bombs as the hallways are filled with high-yield explosions for objects flying at the Mongoose. Mina evades the incoming debris as she grabs a small device from her dress pocket.
"Thanks, Tails, This will come in handy," she presses the button on the device for it to turn into a purple arm blaster and fires an electric orb into the robot hedgehog.
The energy ball strikes the back of the robot giving him a big shock, Mina cracks her arm blaster like a blunt weapon against Metal knocking him into a wall. "Damn mongoose, don't get in my way," Metal flies out of the hole and tackles Mina to knock her across the hall with him flying towards his target.
Mina struggles to get up having several bruises on her body and a cut across her left arm, "Sonic, he's going towards you. Be careful." Mina radios in Sonic on her comlink in her left ear.
"All right, thanks babe," Sonic said as he could see the metal hog rocketing toward him. "Have a good dose of Spin Dash." Sonic rolls into a ball charging into the robot hedgehog.
Metal does the same as they both collide into each other trying to force one other back. Metal at the last minute got under Sonic and kicked him still in ball form making him bounce all over the place. "Master, the target is in sight."
"Excellent, take them and bring them to me," the voice said as Metal arrived at the target for him to be the Manuscripts of Onyx. Metal opens up his chest and sucks into the chest cavity. "Target has been captured," he said.
"Good return to me at once," the voice said as Sonic chases up with him.
"Metal, why do you need that; why did Eggman send you here?" Sonic demanded as Metal's body language screamed confusion.
"I have a new master, Robotnik is not my concern," Metal powers up his jets and flies out the window into the night sky.
"Damn it, Metal got away," Sonic speeds towards where Mina is last seen. He approaches her as she's covered in bruises and a bloody cut on her arm, "Babe, are you okay?" Sonic is concerned about her condition for Mina as the mongoose coughs up blood.
"I got a little cut, no biggie. What did Metal steal?" Mina asked.
"The Manuscripts of Onyx are what he stole," Sonic said as the mongoose was confused by this.
"Why would Robotnik steal those Manuscripts, the horde is a myth. This doesn't make sense," Mina is puzzled by this logic.
"The thing is Metal Sonic said he's not working for Eggman." Sonic and Mina are confused by this series of events. "Anyway, let's get back home and treat your wound," Sonic carries the female mongoose as he jumps out the window hopping over rooftops.
"Metal ruined the evening for us," Mina said feeling pretty upset about it with Sonic kissing her on her cheek.
"Don't worry about it, we still had fun right before the Robo faker came in and busted the place," Sonic is comforting his girlfriend as Mina wraps her arms around his neck.
"Yeah, let's get out of here," Sonic and Mina head away from the scene of the crime.
Metal reaches the mountain base within a few hours with the moon high in the sky. The robot lands on a hanger as a shadowed figure approaches Metal. "Master, I have what you seek," Metal Sonic takes out the Manuscripts of Onyx handing them to the person.
"Excellent, my metal friend; finally, tons of searching, and I found it," the Naugus said.
Naugus looks over the text on the stone tablets for him to wave his hand emitting magic energy for the words to glow brightly.
"Soon, I'll have the power I need to crush Robotnik and destroy all he created; not even the Quickster of both worlds can halt my vengeance," he said with a vicious smile on his face as he put his plans into motion.
