'Final a/n=Author Note: The scenarios will switch based on the characters-I am not sure what it would have looked like if the scenario was different for Tris BUT this is how I will go with it, thank you and I LOVE the Divergent series and The Hunger Games….lol love dystopia stories basically, also Gabriel does have light blonde hair here instead of white, and Adrien does have the Cat Miraculous and Marinette does have the Ladybug Miraculous so that they know how to use it and in case something bad happens later on'

'Second Author note, I would be very happy if any of you gave suggestions and criticism about my story that is TOTALLY fine!. On a side note sorry that the story had chapters that NOTHING to do with it-I had to upload my story first so those were there for that and I was worried that writing over it would ruin the chapter of where the story the chapter belongs to is. This is the real first chapter-again sorry.'
Who's side are you on?
Adrien woke up with a start, it was the day he would have to choose which faction he will be in for the rest of his life, he whipped on a blue shirt, his white jacket, denim blue pants, it was the day for the "Aptitude test" he walked downstairs being from a rich family he lived the North of Paris in font of the Eiffel tower to the right, other Erudite's live there, lower South is Abnegation the worst part of Paris and it lacks of colours as well, he went to where his father is at the dinner table this time he woke up early so he caught up to his father "Hello father" he walked quickly to the dinner table.
Gabriel glanced up and let out a small smile, "Hello Adrien doing fine I assume?" Adrien nodded, sitting down, Gabriel looked at the computer he had at the table 'Father must have eaten a while ago. He wouldn't have a computer at the table unless he had finished eating. How early am I or am I later than I thought?' Gabriel was wearing the usual attire, a light blue dress shirt, white jacket, white pants, white shoes, a white tie with blue curving from the lower left to the right it is midnight blue, "Yes I am doing fine father", Gabriel nodded "I see you are ready, I am certain you will do great and excel in your faction". Adrien nodded and once done he stood up and started walking towards the door he stretched his right hand to the knob-
"Oh and Adrien?" Adrien paused, "Yes father?" "I care about you, you know that right?" Adrien nodded, staring at the door "I do father," Gabriel nodded with a small smile and his eyes soft "Good" Adrien walked out the door saying "Care about you, father bye!" Adrien didn't however see Gabriel's small smile or soft eyes, Adrien rushed over to school-
Felix walked across the hallway to go to his corresponding table, he turned across and sat down at the bench South, the table in the middle of the room to the left, sitting in the middle of the bench on the left. A Erudite in front of him is also sitting down reading a book, a boy with brown hair and light brown eyes, to the right of him a girl with blonde hair and green eyes, and some others that Felix didn't care to look at. Felix was wearing a dark blue vest, dark blue pants and a dark blue tie under his white dress shirt, Felix glanced up from his dark red hard covered book and saw what the boy was reading, "I suggest that if you want to have more knowledge about science that you don't read that one". The boy glared at him "And why not?" Felix sighed "It is a bit outdated-actually correct myself very outdated-so outdated-" he did not rummage he simply flipped back his things in his bag since it was neat and tidy, he found the baby blue hard covered book "-instead this one would prove much better and in date" he presented it to the boy holding it in his hands.
"Oh really then?" Felix nodded "Yes and…you will find it to be more informative and intellectual" the boy leaned across the table narrowing his eyes stitching his brows together "Oy!-what gives you the right to say that?!" Felix put down the blue book and leaned forward close to the boy, his hands slamming on the table, he glared at the boy snarling at him softly "Don't you dare question me or underestimate what I am capable of got that?...-" he sat back down and leaned back removing the glare, "-I know that you won't make that mistake anymore…..'his tone lowers and stern marking the word "or" or am I mistaken?" The boy slowly shook his head keeping his gaze on Felix, Felix glanced at the blue book and at the boy again "Go ahead…I did allow you to take it did I not?" the boy nodded and took it.
Felix diligently picked up his book and carried on reading it-
Adrien rushed across the hall turning a sharp right and skidding across the floor he rushed inside. If his father knew that he came a bit later than others he would kill him! Adrien's eyes caught on to Felix and he had a wide smile he rushed over to Felix leaping and skipping along-
Felix kept on reading knowing that the "Aptitude test" would be soon for some others and he would be called eventually, "Feliiiix!" his eyes widened, feeling arms squeezing him from behind and their head over his right shoulder, their puffy hair brushing against his right cheek he frowned "Adrien, do you have to do that? What need is there to be so over energetic and bubbly, as well as hugging me so tightly" Felix jerked forward to make Adrien let go which didn't work unfortunately for him.
"Adrien let go and now!" Adrien pouted "Why?" Felix grumbled and turned around and shoved Adrien "Because I said so" he turned around again and picked up the book again. Adrien nodded with a huff and sat down to Felix's right side. He sighed, bored looking around, very bored. He thought it was excruciatingly boring so he said so. "Fel it is excruciatingly boring waiiiiiting!" Felix narrowed his eyes not glancing up for a second from his book "Adrien don't call me that and if you are so bored then find something to do. I don't know. Just leave me alone" Adrien nodded grumbling softly to himself now what?
"Bye mom-bye dad!" She hugged her mother and father. Her mother has a long dress up to her ankles and her father a grey shirt, grey pants, black shoes and the only interesting part about it is his white overalls, her mother also wears black shoes. Marinette rushed out of her home and tripped a thousand times, partly because of her clumsiness and also because the ground was uneven where she lives, she has a plain grey dress on to make it more interesting she had fixed up a few stitches to make the hem of her dress more higher and have some nice long curves to it, the small curved collar she made into a v shape, her hair she had in a tight bun-don't get her wrong she likes it and even more since her mom did her hairstyle but she preferred it more loose and free, she let it down her hair flowing down over her back while she still ran, her hair up to her back at the end of her ribcage, she did her hair up again this time it was more loose so it didn't look as tight-she let some hair hang over the side of her head, over her sideburns. She grinned widely and rushed over to the West side of Paris to catch up to her friend Alya. She waved once she saw her and waited to cross the street. Once the cross walk chimed and the little person turned green and imitated someone walking, she rushed across and landed on her friend, "Woah girl be careful!" Alya chuckled, Marinette chuckled, pushing herself gently off Alya.
"Heh sorry" "No worries girl lets goooo!" She grabbed Marinette's right hand and led her at a quick pace across the sidewalk, Alya wore black pants, a light orange and white chequered plaid jacket, with light purple lines, her shoes black and white. She wears a white and black hairband in her hair in the middle, she walked with Marinette laughing with her she yelped when someone bumped into her they narrowed their eyes at her grumbling "Stiff" she nervously chuckled looking down then looking at them stating "That was rude of you" Alya glared at them "Yeah she is right-typical Erudite" He glared at them. "Oh yeah? Rich of you to say….'he snarls' candor" Alya scoffed her hands on her hips "Ah yeah?-I swear all of you are the same-none of you are kind wha-well except Adrien he is an exception, however you!-well you are not the exception typical nasty Erudite" he walked up to her quickly and squared his shoulders "What did you say?!".
"You heard me" "Oh yes I did!" it seemed that he got ready to throw a punch, Marinette's eyes widened and she leapt in front of Alya stretching her arms out. The boy did punch her well it was to Alya but Marinette got in the way, she groaned in pain doubling over. The boy's eyes widened he stepped to the right approaching Alya Marinette gritted her teeth and punched his stomach, weakly saying with a growl "Don't you dare touch her" the boy winced from the pain and about to say something but scoffed and walked away clearly thinking that they weren't worth it.
"Marinette!" she helped her up "Oh you are a true Abnegation aren't you? My God that was reckless Marinette" Marinette nodded with a small smile looking at her "To help you of course Alya you are my bff" she laughed and nodded patting her back with her right hand "Yeah you are". Like always all over billboards and ads was Adrien Agreste modelling all sorts of clothes that corresponded to each faction, somehow he even made Abnegation's plain and stale clothes look good if only all Abnegation looked as good as model's then maybe the clothes wouldn't look as bad but either way it was stale and plain.
Marinette walked inside the building of the school looking around with her friend Alya they laughed and sat down, she glanced at the Erudite table and saw Adrien she waved with a goofy smile at him "Hey-hey A-A-"Adrien hey" Mariniette nodded glad that Alya helped her out, Felix sighed annoyed by Marinette after a while the name-"Adrien Agreste" was called along with nine others Adrien stood up and hugged Felix who pushed him away and said "Go now-and get away from me" Adrien chuckled and moved away from him, "Okay Fel bye!" he rushed away, Felix narrowed his eyes at him and called after him "And don't call me "Fel!" Adrien laughed rushing away, Felix shook his head rolling his eyes and looked around.
Marinette watched this interaction, she had always been amazed and loved how all the other factions interacted she wasn't sure why though why she was always fixated by it, her eyes always seemed to wander to all the other faction's of course she loved hers and its simple ways-she fit right in with it but all the other factions rouse a intrigue and curiosity that her faction just couldn't muster in her. She always wondered why, but most times she didn't have an answer-not even an idea of why that might be-
/Aptitude tests/
Adrien walked inside the room, it was full of mirrors on each wall, of course it had to be someone not from his faction, not an Erudite. He saw a candor there he grinned and greeted them "Hello! Nice to meet you, my name is Adrien!" She glanced up, "Yes I know that hello to you too, my name is Hazel and I don't have to say why you are here right?" he nodded and sat down on the chair. "No you don't have to", she nodded, picking up a vial with clear liquid in it and walked over to him-"Drink this".
"Hmmm…what does that do?" he tilted his head to the right, "Oh I can't tell you" he nodded perplexed "Okay then" he drank it, as soon as he did he appeared in front of two baskets one with a knife and the other with a block of cheese he leaned near them curious.
Meanwhile the woman had already put on a headpiece on his forehead and a headpiece on her forehead and waited carefully watching intently to see what would happen. He saw himself in the lunch area where all the tables were except no one was there, "Choose one" Adrien looked around wondering where the voice came from "Wait-where is your voice coming from?" he heard her sigh "Choose one okay?"...Adrien glanced back at the baskets on a table "Choose one" right that was what she said, he glanced at the knife and then at the block of cheese the cheese seemed more appealing to him, he picked it up in his right hand staring at it. "What now?" he asked. "Wait and see" the baskets disappeared and so did the knife, then a dog appeared. Adrien glanced at the cheese the dog was running right at him, Adrien looked at the dog his eyes widening.
'Wait…the cheese! Maybe it wants that!' with sudden realisation he slowly got low with a small smile and held out the cheese in his right hand "He-here you go" the dog sniffed it and slowly took it and chewed on it-that scenario was over and then a group of men stand there and…a knife a long one at that-actually a sword not a knife, a lean and sharp sword. Adrien glances around the dog is gone and the group of men charged at him he rolled to the right to avoid them the sword kicked to the far left under some tables, he groaned in frustration his eyes darting around, three of them seemed to be distracted the other four were not-he took a deep breath and kicked at one of the distracted three immediately dropping them to the ground he turned around scrambling up and raced over to the sword-
He skidded under the table grabbing the sword in his right hand while at it and crouched at the other side of the table, he saw multiple knifes flung at him and bullets out of nowhere he squeezed his eyes shut feeling the hard-firm leather he steadied himself and looked at them, the two were approaching closer to him, the other five shooting and flinging knifes at him from a distance, 'Damn it…can't do anything from here have to-….wait their guns' he glanced at one of them yup the men closest approaching him have guns. He looked down at the black handle of the sword he was gripping tightly, if he did this right and was swift enough he could-potentially-maybe attack one with a gun or at least attack one of them and then use that to his advantage. He held his sword across his right waist, it would be risky swinging it high and then slashing this would work. He swung the sword at their left ankle they cried out in pain getting on their right knee holding their ankle with their hands, blood streaming out alarmingly fast Adrien felt bad for him but shook his head-no-he was the enemy he had to attack he kicked the gun towards himself and picked it up, he looked at the second one with the gun to at least see how to use it. Even if it isn't the right way to use a gun it is better than nothing.
Once he saw how, he aimed the gun and shot. He fell down from the impact of shooting the person. He walked over to them and shot another nearby and then the second both had guns, he took the guns quickly. He glanced behind him mentally taking count of how many he had taken down so far-'one-two-three-four-damn it three are left' he looked ahead he was right-three were left, he knelt down and rolled to the left to avoid a gunshot, he barely shot right if he was being honest, sure he shot them but barely accurate they didn't even hit the target half the time! He did manage to shoot them but not at the parts he aimed at. Overall he was bad at shooting, he knelt on his right knee and shot another-'five-'one ran right up to him he leapt away but they grabbed his right foot and he fell down his head ricocheting of the ground he groaned in pain, he aimed it at their stomach-"Bam!"-
'six-'he stood up but standing up so quickly and the impact his head had on the ground made his head feel like he had bruised it hard. Adrien shot the last one '-seven…finally'.
He let go of the gun in his right hand and rested his hands on his knees, bending over taking deep breaths in and out beads of sweat rolling down his forehead, his hair flopping over his head, his hands squeezing his knees. The scenario changed, he stood in front of multiple people and a boy around his age was about to get hurt badly-probably killed. His eyes widened and he looked around wanting to help but they were men that were about to hurt the boy. What could he do? He knew he couldn't do a thing even if he took action, "He-!" but he was too late they pounded the kid he turned his head to the left and squeezed his eyes shut-no he didn't want to look he knew he couldn't do a thing even if he tried, and he was going to act but was too late-he expected to hear more pounding but it changed again, he opened his right eye and looked around with his eye it was a-court room?, he was pushed inside-
He stood at the witness side, he watched eventually he stood at the front at the spot he had to stand "Wait what-?" they didn't allow him to speak "Now put your hand on the bible got that?" he nodded and did as told, still confused, 'What is going on?' he thought after he said the oath-that was necessary about telling the truth and all that he was asked-"Did you see this man kill this girl at the left corner behind the front of the grocery store?" The man then pushed an image of the grocery store in front of him, strangely enough he felt like he did in fact know that the man did kill the girl there he felt like it was a bad idea to say the truth-even though he should. He wasn't sure why he just did feel like that, "No I did not"...silence from the courtroom while they glanced at each other talking at the sidelines, they murmured to each other some frowning and snapping at each other clearly debating and assessing the situation and most definitely whether or not he had lied.
They all looked at the accused-to the man and lastly to Adrien….one of them cleared their throat and slowly said "We have concluded our discussion and have come to the conclusion that….this man is innocent" Adrien let out a sigh of relief, the man nodded "Alright this is over-release him and this young man may leave" Adrien stepped out of the place it changed again. This time it was a tall skyscraper he was inside of it in front of a large window, lots of people were in front of him in a circle men and women, they approached him with knifes and guns he looked to his right far there is a broom, he panics and turns to the window he rushes to it and sees that if he does it right he could land on one of those elevators that cleaners use, he turns his body to the left and bends his arms up holding his head and spring out the window. The impact spiking pain-glass cutting and slicing at his face, at his cheeks and his chin the parts that his arms couldn't protect, the glass also slash at his clothes and his body leaving trails of blood streaming down he fumbles trying to curl into a ball, he rolls on the elevator he lets out a sharp gasp seeing himself nearing the edge about to fall the wind howling all around him-
The sky now dark, he grabs the middle metal bar with his left hand and grabs onto it, his hand starts burning after a while and then-he is awake he gaps sitting up right clenching the armrests tightly beads of sweat on his forehead. The woman walked over to him and plucked the little device off his forehead with her right hand and turns round taking the device on her forehead off her, "Okay so the results are in and I know which ones you correspond to and which ones aren't for you" she turns around once she placed it down to clean it later for further use "So I ruled out Candor, you lied in the courtroom that rules that one out, I also ruled out Abnegation you didn't react on instinct to save the boy but don't worry-you are a good person just reacted too late but not a Abnegation, you did choose the cheese and was passive with the dog so you are Amity that is certain-about Dauntless you did fight and very good at that and did what you had to do fast, so you are Dauntless….however for Erudite instead of thinking clearly and using the broom to knock some over and fight you tried escaping by throwing yourself out the window where you did know that there was a elevator there so that is smart but not Erudite oriented" ….his eyes widened not an Erudite?!.
'No…father will be so mad-what?-not an Erudite?!, oh no I can't leave him no', "Wait, not an Erudite?!" she nodded "Are you sure?!" she nodded again "Very-?!"Yes, very certain of that, I know it comes as a surprise to you but that is how it is you are Dauntless and Amity"...he nodded hanging his head she sighed putting her hand on his right shoulder with her right hand "It is okay Adrien…you may make family members mad but remember this is about YOU not them okay?" he nodded with a small smile and looked up "Thanks" "No problem you may leave now it is concluded" he nodded and walked out the room.
Felix glanced up seeing Adrien "Did it go well-? Actually don't respond you can't tell me" "Oh yeah I can't-'he slumps down to Felix's right his back to the table'-that was something whew" Felix nodded "So much waiting must be worth it then"-
Marinette walked inside the room, she looked around it was a room full of mirrors and a Erudite in the room they looked up at her a man with dark brown hair, light green eyes and a dark blue blazer-light purple shirt, dark blue pants and black shoes they have glasses all Erudite's do even if they have great eyesight Marinette wasn't sure why it baffled her, the man was silent his lips curling into a slight scowl of disdain he shook his head seeming to be removing some thoughts his tone of voice clear-slightly deeper than other men in Paris-also callous "You may sit down now-the test will be prepared-...well soon" he sighed walking to pick up two small devices both the same, she sat down but clumsily tripped and bounced of the chair lading on the ground. The side of her foot to the middle, her legs bended and to the side, the man flinched, turning around and narrowed his eyes at her grumbling incoherent words to himself, Marinette nervously chuckled, scrambling on the chair and sitting down.
"Alright I will put this on you and it will proceed to the scenario once you drink the vial, got that?" she nodded as he put it on her forehead and he put one on his forehead as well, his right hand holding the vial she took it and hesitantly put it to her lips he furrowed his eyebrows then she took a glance at the mirror she eeped and looked down…"What was-?" the man looked at the mirror and sighed "-It is fine that you looked at the mirror look at it as much as you please-you might not even have Abnegation as a choice anyway" she realised that…she didn't want to leave her family she decided to think of that later she slowly drank it uncertainly and she saw herself in the cafeteria all the tables there but empty-
Two baskets on a table. The left is a knife and the right sits a block of cheese, she glanced between the cheese and the knife "Choose" she sprang up her hair landing all over her face "Wha-what was that?!-who is that?!" the man sighed "It is me-the Erudite doing the test?" she sighed in relief with a small smile there "Sorry about that, my name is Marinette by the way, what is yours?" "That is not important just get on with it" she crossed her arms "I will choose just tell me please?" she heard a sigh and was certain that he was massaging his temples. He seemed like the type that would "Okay-...fine, my name is Alex-there happy now?" his voice soft now she nodded "Very happy actually thanks!" she looked at the knife and block of cheese, 'I know that the knife can be useful for attacking but the cheese could also be helpful so which-?'"Just choose already!" she eeped and looked at the knife and the cheese quickie frantic to choose.
"Um-um-um-...I know this one!" she picked up the block of cheese in her right hand, "Okay" the baskets disappeared and so did the knife, she looked around "Hey um Alex now what?" He chuckled "You'll see". A dog appeared she yelped seeing it run at her she stumbled to the right, falling on her bottom, she saw the dog approaching her heart fast and thumping in her ears-her eyes wide and her hands clenched so tight and they shake, she feels the cheese in her right hand-right the cheese! She held her right hand out and opened it wishing she hadn't if the dog somehow hadn't sensed her fear it could see it now because of her shaking hand.
The dog paused-sniffed her hand then licked it eating the cheese she giggled, the dog then pawed at her shoulders trying to lick her panting, she giggled and held the dogs head away so that it can't lick her "Aren't you so loving!", after the dog was gone and this time a boy was there and about to get hurt by a woman, she looked around panicked and eyed a knife she hesitated reaching for it "Wham!" she grabbed it tightly in her right hand, she won't let the boy get hurt! She turned to the woman shouting "Hey!" the woman turned to her, she ran to her and attacked her left ankle the woman yelled falling down the boy whimpered hurt, "Hey-hey it is okay" she tended to the boy's wounds that the woman had managed to make "Your-you're bleeding" the boy whimpered out she chuckled brushing the blood away with her right hand "It is okay you need to be tended to" she showed a smile that is soft and loving, the boy nodded tears in his eyes she whipped them away tenderly with her right hand the knife on the ground.
The scenario switched all of a sudden, a man stood there "Do you know this man?" she looked at the newspaper "Hmmm…I am not sure" the man snarled at her "Do you know him?!" she walked back, she looked hard at the image and realised that she did. She felt like it was bad if she said that she did, she felt her throat tighten "Um well-"Do you-?!" she took a deep breath and nodded "I do know them" the man smiled and nodded "Thought so", she now stood at a building a skyscraper surrounded in a circle by people with knifes, she looked over her right shoulder at a person behind her, it looked like it would rain soon she looked back at the people. A broom there to the far right, she rushed over and gripped it tightly, she knocked them over their feet and let it go running and leaping away, her hair flowing around widely, breathing fast and legs pumping she knelt and grabbed a long rope she looked around-a big metal block she picked it up rushing and dodging she tied up the rope around the metal block threw the block out the window thumping on the elevator breaking the window. She turned around leaping out the window grabbing the metal block, throwing it up and into a high building she grabbed the rope bouncing off the wall of the building and landing on it again and again. Finally she made it to the ground, leaping on it.
She woke up and realised it was over..."You...I never seen this before...you are Divergent" she gasped "Wait what does that mean?!" the man-Alex sighed "It means you only eliminate a few not the usual, for you you fit them all". She gasped "Oh no" he nodded sternly telling her, "Don't tell anyone ever"
She nodded surprised and slowly walked out "Divergent" . The word rang in her head over and over again, 'I will have to choose but how and which one?...So many choices and yet the choosing ceremony is just days away' she saw Alya she showed a small smile "Hey Alya!" her friend waved at her with a smile but her lips turned down realising that Marinette had something on her mind "Are you anxious and worried?-it is okay, Marinette you will do great!" She went to Mairnette's left side and put her right shoulder over her "Thanks Alya" she nodded.
Felix walked in the room, he saw a condor woman she gasped but then smiled "Oh sorry I thought you were Adrien who are you?" "Felix-" he looked at the chair "-I assume I have to sit down don't I?" she nodded, he sat down "What is your name?" "Mine is Hazel" he nodded "Nice name" "Thanks" she worked away collecting the headpieces, putting one on Felix's forehead and one on her's.
"Drink this" she showed the vial in her right hand, Felix looked at it narrowing his eyes at it. "What is that?" "I can't tell you" he crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes his eyebrows lowered, "I won't take that-that would be foolish not knowing what it is" she glared at him sighing "I can't tell you-you have to take it-trust me" he grumbled and nodded "Fine-but only because it is necessary" he took it, she sighed seeing him close his eyes and he found himself in a scenario two baskets on a table, it was the lunch room all the students gone he narrowed his eyes his eyebrows stitched together in confusion he saw a knife and block of cheese he walked over to it "Choose", he asked "Why?" "Just choose" I asked "why" not to be commanded again"..."I see why you are an Erudite-choose and you will see" he sighed pinching the bridge of his nose in his right hand "Fine" he let go of the bridge of his nose and grabbed the knife in his right hand "Now what-?" he eyed a dog, a mean one at that.
The dog raced up to him his eyes widened, he rolled to the right, on his right knee, narrowing his eyes and slashed at the dog's left leg he turned around standing up and eyed the dog-the dog let out a whimper of pain tumbling down. Felix stared at the dog for a few seconds before letting out a deep breath and walking over to the dog letting go of the knife, the knife clattering on the ground. He knelt on his right knee and started tending to the dog's wound with a cloth he found laying around, the dog looked up at him locking eyes with him, the dog's eyes now soft and the dog loosened its posture.
A man stood there with a knife and glared at Felix, the dog immediately begun running to the man Felix-quick on his feet instead of pushing the man out of the way-getting himself on the dog or anything else he just picked up the cloth and put it on the dogs eyes, the cloth outstretched he held the cloth around the dog's head, the dog yelped and turned around-quickly he let go of the cloth, the cloth fluttering to the ground and hugged the dog's chest tightly the dog snapped weakly not desiring to harm Felix then slowly stopped. "Good dog, not so tough eh?-just fierce is all".
The dog nuzzled near him, he petted the dog "You know?, I always thought that I am more of a cat person, I guess I just wanted a calm but yet affectionate animal to be around". The dog simply leaned more into Felix, then as soon as the dog had come it left he stood up, confused and despite not admitting it would like to be able to be near the dog again-this time it was a person they walked up to him "Hey you!" he stared at them "Yes?" "You hurted my brother right?!" "No I-"Yes you did!" I did not damn it!", the person snarled at him "Yes you did!" they went to swing a punch he dodged it and punched their stomach "I did not!" he yelled the person stumbled back and went to throw another punch but they disappeared into thin air, he scoffed looking around mumbling "Now what?".
He saw a brass coin and took it, not seeing anyone around it was worthless anyway but still he decided why not. A young girl innocent enough came up to him "Did you see my brass coin?" he shook his head "I have not", she whimpered "You sure?" he nodded "Really?" he sighed "Yes I haven't now bye" he walked off dismissively, next it was a building "What is up with this damn world?!-changing-changing-changing!" he ranted to himself livid and aggravated, he sighed and saw a lot of people in a circle surrounding him, all had knifes he saw a broom-then the people attacked he skidded and took the broom in his right hand and turned it around, the bristles of the broom turned away from him he stood up and swept them off their feet literally and figuratively-he then took one that did have a gun and shot them all in their right leg they howled out in pain he whistled walking to leave the building to go to the lower floors of the skyscraper, twirling the broom in his right hand and twirling gun in his left hand-
He woke up, heart fast he figured because of some of the events such as the dog one-when it was about to attack that is and yes partly the shooting other people part and aggravated that the world kept changing, "Hmmm….I know easily where you correspond to mister" she took off the headpiece on her and Felix's forehead's, she hummed putting them on a desk behind her and then turned to Felix again, "You belong to Dauntless and Erudite-you are by far the easiest one to assess" Felix nodded "And I know which one I will be in" she laughed "Oh I bet you do, you can go now" he nodded and left she mused about how fast it was "That was the fastest one so far".
Adrien looked up seeing Felix walk out with ease and go to the table again, "Hey Fel how did it go?" "I think good-swell even…don't call me "Fel", Adrien laughed "Wondered how long it would take you to realise that I said that-just what? Six seconds?-no I think four!" Felix rolled his eyes "Yeah-yeah", Adrien chuckled, shaking his head as he was enjoying himself.
The choices we have
Adrien walked home instead of taking the limo, his father sent it of course. He saw-wait Felix? He felt confusion then concern furrowing his eyebrows a bit, why was Felix walking home instead of taking a limo?-did his mother not send one or did his mother send a limo but Felix like him decided not to take the limo. He trotted over to Felix's left side, "Hey Felix!" Felix hummed in response, looking ahead-in his own world, it seemed "Fel!" that caught his attention, Felix turned his head to Adrien "Oh…Adrien hello why are you walking home?" Adrien shrugged looking ahead "Guess just wanted to be outside for a while longer y'know?" Felix nodded, he himself would not use some of the words that Adrien uses like "Y'know" and all the other words, however he unlike Adrien was familiar with-well best way to put it in a way that he would put it is in concepts of love and, well kissing and all that don't get him wrong-he can say the word he isn't afraid of saying it just doesn't say it every damn second.
"Oh okay then...no" Adrien looked at Felix pouting "Please?" "No-not allowing that" "Why not?! I have seen your house before, just never inside!" "'No" "Please?!-I want to see the inside of it!" Felix sighed his head low. He looked at Adrien with his eyes "You know what?" Adrien waited bouncing on his heels "I will allow this only this one time" Adrien squealed and hugged Felix's neck, on the side tightly "Thank you!-thank you!-thank you!" Felix nodded, lifting his head again, they walked over and of course they were walking in the North area of Paris, he stooped in front of a large mansion.
Unlike Adrien's, it had a dark red roof, milk white walls, the window sills snow white, the horizontal and vertical framing on the window black, the door a crimson red, some flower buds around the house still not ready to bloom just yet but Adrien figured that tomorrow they would, "What flowers are they?" "Roses-" Felix walked to the gravel light grey steps with white outlining it and in front of the first step, he used a handle holding it in his right hand to knock on the door, it is a gold that is in the design of roses he put his hand to his side and waited "-red roses to be specific" Adrien nodded walking to Felix right side, "Hm so we wait?" he nodded, the door opened and Amelie stood there with a smile, she wore a dark blue jacket, dark blue hair tie to tie up her hair, dark blue pants, white dress shirt, black shoes with white outlining her jacket, pants and her hair tie "Oh Felix you came!-you could have taken the limo but this is fine!" She hugged Felix tightly.
She let go and Felix not really wanting to show affection in front of Adrien still hugged her back then let go, "Yes I am here" Adrien snickered he glared at Adrien then looked back at his mother, Amelie walked to the right allowing them in, all Erudite have glasses her's is white rimmed. She doesn't need it so they are fake, all Erudite have it anyway Adrien's father Gabriel however did need it, his are black rimmed. Felix's father also had some also black rimmed but his father did need it, Felix walked over to the kitchen to the left, the floorboards golden wood, the walls of the house milky white, the framing of the ceiling and the wall also a crimson red, the lights a golden soft hue.
There was a table with a dark red with white at the ends of it they are thick, gold details swirling and pin prick the white part of the table light glinting of it-Felix sat down at the left of the table on the middle seat, five seats to his left and right the seats are dark wood, with white framing it. "Well? Going to sit down?" Adrien nodded with a small smile sitting down at the end of the table South, Felix looked at him perplexed "Why don't you sit in front of me?, or one of the seats on the right side or the left side?" Adrien shrugged confused "Because I always sit here?"..."Okay then…suit yourself", Felix looked at the right side of the table, his left hand cupping his close right hand, the right side of his right hand on the table, Amele arrived with some food Felix grinned and watched her place it down. "Hm, not going to offer to help?" "I could"..."Ah selfish, 'she chuckles' alright then my smart boy" she carried on. Adrien becomes more confused by the second.
Felix didn't help his mother?-he didn't get it, it was basically law that if his father were to do anything himself-which he didn't do if it was about food or anything else like that, he was obliged to help his father if-assistance was needed. "You're not going to help your mother?" Felix sighed and nodded, pushing his chair back and standing up pushing it against the table again. "Alright-mother I will help you" she grinned at him and nodded, some strands of hair falling on her left side, the strand of hair framing her cheek. "Okay then, thank you Felix" he nodded with a smile, they both walked to the left side of the kitchen, the countertops light grey and the cabinets white, and steel oven. Handles gold and the type that are elegant, Amelie in front of the oven to the right and Felix to her left both working together, Felix's dress sleeves rolled up to his elbows, first time Adrien has seen Felix do that sort of thing to his clothes. Amelie has her jacket off, hanging on a hook that is on the right side upper right of the kitchen, Adrien moved seats to sit to the left of the middle seat on the left side, where Felix sat earlier before he had gotten up. He heard Amelie shrill happily to her son "Oh my, isn't that great!" "Hmm…it is" "Oh come onn!-show more emotion than that!" And with that she proceeded to squeeze her son's left arm with her left arm, his head to the side of her chest. "Okay okay okay! Let go of me!".
But he was smiling even if it was a small one. She laughed resting her head on his head and he hugged her with his right arm. They stayed like that for a bit, him chuckling a bit and her laughing, they calmed down and kept on. Adrien felt a sort of longing, and…was that envy? He wasn't sure but it was there the emotions. After a while Felix sat back down and rolled his sleeves back down again, he looked at Adrien and raised his right eyebrow, eyes a bit narrowed "What?"...Adrien shrugged "I said "What?" answer me". "Oh just how you interact with your mother it is-..." he averted his gaze away from Felix, looking to the right away from him.
Felix sighed, his eyebrow dropping and eyes relaxed, "Adrien" he slowly spoke. Adrine glanced at him looking away again "Look at me" Adrien slowly did, "Adrien...is this-?...hmmm how to put this?", "You mean bluntly make it worse?" Adrien frowned, Felix chuckled, shaking his head "Sure, put it that way. Well, is this about well-how you interact with your…parent?" despite Felix not saying "father" it made him feel a bit hurt. Not that Felix said it, no that his father didn't really…have the best interactions with him, "Oh…yeah it is I guess" he chuckled "Sorry I shouldn't bring the mood down". Felix shrugged "Don't fret. Doesn't bother me. Besides you have to talk, you have to talk, right?" Adrien nodded breathily saying "Yeah…I do". Felix titled his head to the right and stated "Actually, perhaps we could go to my room? Would like to show you something if you don't mind" Adrien nodded "Sure" Felix smiled "Okay then" Plagg peeked out of Adrien's right pocket, "Hey I think that is sus" Plagg whispered hissing, "Shush Plagg"..."Um Adrien who are you shushing?" "Oh um!-just!-myself!".
"...Okay then...guess you just do that because well-not sure why but normal of course…normal" Felix looked at the food in front of him and started eating, Adrien looked at Plagg in his pocket "Plagg this situation is-"Shitty?-"Plagg!" "What? It is, by the way that is one suspicious boi". He softly groaned "Plagg not now!" Plagg nodded "Surey". After done with food Felix put his dish in the dishwasher and walked to the stairs. They have blood red carpeting, the railing on the side is swooped and golden.
He walked across the hallway, he stood in front of a door that was light brown, he opened it with his right hand and stood aside. Adrien looked at Felix then at the room, he walked in seeing mountains of books on the right night stand, a cupboard to the left side of the room that was dark brown. A bookcase to the right of the cupboard that is large with many books in it, Felix walked to his bed, the bed to the right against the wall, the bed frame is wood gold, the cover of the bed white, two pillows on his bed. Felix sat on the right side of the bed, legs swinging off the bed. Adrien walked over to Felix standing in front of him, "So what is it?" Felix looked at him for a moment then said "Well, do you know about human anatomy and their organs and all that?" Adrien shook his head, Felix said in a bored and disbelief tone "Thought that you wouldn't, too bad that I am right" Felix stood up turning to the cupboard walking there, once standing in front of it he turned to the right and walked over to the bookcase. He turned forward, he looked through it picking up a large beautiful elegant book in his hands. Felix walked over to the right side of the bed and sat down in the middle again, the book gingerly settled on his lap. "This is a biology book of the human body, could show you some pages of it", he looked at it he wasn't sure why his father never allowed him to have one like Felix does, and oh boy he will be in for the greatest surprise in his life "Oh…you can?" Felix nodded, "But father doesn't let me" "Well consider this as the start of your rebellion-you are sixteen correct?" "Yeah but-"No-you should know about this, before-..." Felix looked to the left with his eyes and back at Adrien "-well you find out in perhaps unpleasant ways how...the human body is like" Adrien felt like moving away from the book-this was a bad idea but yet he stood there his feet planted what was wrong with him?!.
Felix moved the book near to his knees waiting for Adrien to take it "So take it", Adrien bit his lower lip looking right to left "I promise I won't tell your father if that is it" Adrien cringed at the mention of his father, "So that is it?, I won't tell him many things I would tell him if you ask me not to" Adrien sighed "Fine" he took it and examined it. The book was beautiful his father didn't allow him to read any sort of book like that, Adrien flipped it open looking at the first page his right hand tracing from top to the bottom of the page he mused out loud "Hey Felix, father says that I most likely shouldn't be around you…since you cause mischief and a lot more, but…he also did tell me not to read any sort of books about this…not sure why" Felix laughed shaking his head, "Okay then…you are so innocent I swear", Adrien frowned about to cross his arms when he remembered the book in his hands "What is that supposed to mean?" Felix smirked, leaning on his hands, his hands behind him.
"You know what I mean-so innocent not knowing about how the human body of a girl looks…you know what way-not knowing about social cues-oblivious if anyone likes you if they don't show it like your fans do-all of that…'he chuckles mockingly saying' and nothing about se-"Felix-!"What?, many do it". Adrien glared at him "Just because many do it doesn't mean you can say it!" "Actually I can" "Well still!" Felix laughed even harder laying down on his back, on his bed. "Felix!" "Okay-okay calm down!, you are a laugh!-but seriously you should know about those things. What I mean is about social cues, if anyone likes you or not, about the world and not the last one just yet…when you have a girlfriend bet you will have sex" Adrien growled "Felix!...wait-I won't have a girlfriend!".
"Why not?", "Well because father has standards and I bet he already decided who I should be with". Felix nodded, still laying down on his bed "Yes, true. Oh by the way you can read the book now". Adrien looked at the book and hesitantly turned the page seeing an image of the human body, of a male "Oh….ummm" he felt awkward about it, Felix lifted his head looking at Adrien curiously seeing Adrine cringe and his lips twitch down, "Don't feel awkward about it Adrien, it isn't even of a real person anyway". Adrien looked at Felix irritated "Easy for you to say! You probably had many chances to look at this book!" Felix shrugged "True, don't be awkward about it. It is normal and I won't judge". Adrien nodded looking at the book again, Adrien mustered his courage and looked through the book, seeing images of the human skeleton and the muscles and more, they looked pretty realistic. Before he knew it he found himself infatuated with it, he gasped when he turned it to the image of a woman letting the book go out of his hands.
Felix immediately dived and caught it standing upright again, book in his hands "Adrien be careful, I take care of this book so that it is in good condition" Felix furrowed his brows thoroughly "Oh…sorry, didn't mean to" Adrien chuckled with a nervous smile scratching the back of his neck with his right hand, Felix looked at Adrien "It is fine…." he stared at Adrien for a moment "Where did you pick up that habit from?" Adrien stared at Felix confused "What do you mean?".
Felix raised his eyebrow, "You seriously don't know?" Adrien shook his head, Felix gave Adrien the book again and pointed at his right hand "You scratched your neck with your right hand-where did you pick up that nervous and maybe embarrassed habit of yours?" he said it so bluntly that Adrien was taken aback by it, "What?-oh that...my mother I think-maybe my father I never saw either of them do it though", "Hm I am certain that it isn't mother, maybe your father does it-not sure if it is your mother's habit". Adrien sat to the left of Felix looking at him, "What do you mean? Why would it be my father's habit?" Felix looked at Adrien silent before replying "Simple, your mother didn't seem like the type to have those sort of habits. Your father however", Adrien stared at Felix curiously "Yeah?, how are you sure it isn't your mothers habit?" Felix chuckled, "Because my mother isn't like your mother or father or you, it isn't her's and I don't have any habits like that either so it completely discards my mother".
Adrien thought about this. Come to think of it, he had never seen his father's habits, he did know that he has lots of aspects of his father so maybe he does have aspects of his father. 'Felix is right, I have to catch my father by surprise and red handed' "Yeah must be his habit". Felix nodded 'I will ask him-heh oh how much fun it will be' "Actually…Adrien…do you like anyone?" Felix looked to his right at Adrien who sat to the left, Adrien's eyes widened "N-no! I don't! And even if I did I wouldn't be able to be with them!" Felix choked back on a laugh which he didn't try too hard to contain, it slipped out anyway "Wow, look at you. Not even bothering with composure around me wow".
Felix smirked and leaned near Adrien "And why should I?, not like composure is important around you, could intimidate you and a lot more with or without it". Adrien shook his head "Whatever", Felix then looked at the clock on his nightstand "Hey, shouldn't you go home?" Adrien's eyes widened and he leapt up, rushing to leave Felix calmly stood up and picked up the book walking down at a casual pace. Adrien rushed to the door "Hey!-Adrien you could take this, I have others anyway this is just in case I lose the other ones take it if you want. I can even tell you where you could hide it well" Adrien turned around "Felix I could-"Do take it, you should know about it" Adrien grumbled and hesitantly took it "Fine-! Bye Felix!" he rushed out, closing the door behind him.
Felix chuckled, walking to his mother's right side "He is so innocent" "Now-now Felix, he is your cousin but you are right he is innocent". They both nodded in agreement.
Good boy or bad boy?-or rebellious boy?
Adrien rushed home, he was a rebellious and currently about to be scolded boy, he rushed inside closing the door behind him, wincing hearing the stern and cold voice "Adrien, where have you been?" Nothing like his voice from this morning, Adrien scurried upstairs flinging the book to his room, closing the door and walking to Gabriel's office, a pink blush that he was trying to still remove.
Gabriel instantly noted that he is no fool "Adrien why are you blushing?" he questioned him soon, furrowing his eyebrows glaring at him with his cold cerulean eyes staring at Adrien's nervous emerald green eyes, "Um well-um ...Felix…checked on him"..."Why do you tell me lies boy?" Adrien cringed at that "Because…'he sighs' actually I went to Felix house…half lie-half truth?" He shrugged slightly with a nervous smile scratching the back of his neck with his right hand, Gabriel let out a deep breath slowly saying sternly "Adrien, you are not to leave to other places without my permission. Perhaps I would have considered letting you go, but now?...'he turns his head to the left' most likely wouldn't even give it a thought-just deny it no matter what, not allow you to go anywhere…do you want that?" Adrien shook his head, Gabriel turned his head to Adrien slightly "Do you want to be able to go to places?" Adrien nodded , "Then why do you do things like this?...believe me I would be-slightly more tolerable with this except you didn't even tell me"..."I-I am sorry" "What if you got hurt then what?" "I-I am not sure" "Or what if worse?, killed or attacked or even worse?" "I don't-"Do you even understand how dire the situation could have been?".
Adrien was not happy that he was cut off by his father, "What if you got seriously injured?-what if you did and I couldn't find you?-what if you nearly died?-what if someone decided to abuse you?-what if-?"Father!...'he let out a deep sigh' none of that probably would have happened"...Gabriel simply let out a low growl anger and fury in his eyes before violently snapping at Adrien throwing a random heavy, hard-covered book of the table with his right hand "Don't you dare interrupt me! And even if not likely it could have happened!, do you know if anyone was nearby that might have done any of that to you?!-your crazy fans?!-someone that wanted to harm you?!, do you know how worried I was?!-do you?!-or do you have no knowledge or intelligence to even grasp the concept?!" the book that was flung smashed into the left wall hard, folding a few-no many pages and plummeting to the ground. The silence that followed was worse than Gabriel's outburst of anger because he was still mad based on the fury and anger in his eyes, his hands in tight fists, the side of his hands on the table shaking with fury, his teeth clenched and lips tight.
"I-I am sorry…I knew you were worried but not how much" he softly mumbled, Gabriel squared his shoulders "Speak up!" Adrien flinched, "I-I am sorry"...Gabriel glanced to the left wall where the book was, to his clenched shaking hands and finally his eyes landed on Adrien, his scared posture, shrinking away arms close to his body tightly, body gently shaking, mouth quivering eyes wide and dilated, voice cracking and soft with fear and guilt. Gabriel sighed "I am sorry Adrien I-...I just was worried, I won't harm you, I won't yell at you. No need to be afraid" Adrien slowly nodded, "O-okay".
Gabriel watched Adrien scrutinising him, "Adrien…" he paused contemplating what he was about to say "Come over here okay?" Adrien nodded, walking over to Gabriel's right side "Yes father?". Gabriel looked at Adrien up and down before saying "I didn't mean to yell at you like that", Adrien stood there silent. Gabriel decided to hug Adrien, he isn't one for affection but he does care for Adrien. He stood up and walked to Adrien who stood to his right side and hugged him, not tightly rather softly actually but it felt nice to Adrien, he did gasp in surprise but once he got over the surprise he relaxed and let out a smile, his head nestled in Gabriel's chest. After a while they both let go Gabriel standing back, quickly he resumed his composure, hands behind his back right hand cupping left hand.
He cleared his throat, "You may now leave Adrien to your room, I expect none of this shall occur again?" Adrien nodded, walking back to his room. Gabriel sighed sitting down, hands in front of him typing away on his computer, 'I didn't want to yell at him-it was fear-worry and although I won't ever admit it out loud perhaps anxiety, it isn't entirely my fault though-he didn't' tell me he was leaving or to where…I can't lose him I just can't, he is too precious to me'. Adrien sat down on the left side of his bed looking through the book Felix gave him. 'Damn Felix, if I get in trouble because of this book he is dead meat', he mumbled to himself "He sure is if I get in trouble because of it".
After a while Gabriel remembered that he had intended on asking if it went well, luckily for him Adrien was walking around doing something-what that was? He didn't know. "Adrien, I forgot to ask but did the test go well?" Adrien nodded, he could tell his father now "Yes, I got Amity and Erudite of course" he lied, Gabriel nodded "Very well then, I knew you would do well" he showed a smile and kept on working. Adrien walked away whispering "Yeah-definitely didn't get Dauntless and Amity and not a Erudite yup-definitely didn't".
The next day-and Felix is dead meat
Gabriel made up his mind to wake Adrien up this time, it was the choosing ceremony after all. He walked to Adrien's room and knocked on the door with his right hand, two light knocks…nothing he tried again, still nothing did something happen to Adrien?-no he wouldn't become anxious, he tried again and yet no sound, okay now he let himself become anxious narrowing his eyes body more tense he growled and opened it harshly with his right hand. No one was there, did Adrien wake up early and somehow he hadn't seen him?. No Adrien was very noisy he would have known, maybe Adrien left from the window?. Possibly, or perhaps Adrien was in his private restroom? That was possible.
He let the first thought and last thought settle on his mind, the most likely ones. Gabriel eyed a cover of something gleaming in the sunlight behind the right nightstand, he walked over curious it was poking out to the left whatever it was he pulled back the nightstand and looked over it. He saw a biology book?-wait what but he didn't allow Adrien to have that so how did he-? He growled under his breath "Felix", he heard a door opening. He was standing in front of the nightstand gripping the book in his hands so tightly his knuckles were white, he turned around and saw Adrien "Adrien did Felix give this to you?".
Adrien immediately panicked 'Damn Felix!', "Ye-yeah why?". Gabriel stayed silent "You know you aren't supposed to have this sort of book right?" "I do…i-it wasn't bad or anything!-just…um-"
