The bullhead that Pyrrha had boarded back to Beacon was coming in for landing. Ren and Nora were also on the aircraft with Pyrrha. The 3 used the time to catch up about their whereabouts during the winter break.
"Wait wait wait wait wait. You two are. . . together together?", Pyrrha asked. As Ren and Nora held hands, Nora nodded with the biggest smile in her face. "Yeaaaaah. She was hard to resist under the lights of the Christmas tree.", Ren said. The 2 of them kept telling her details before finally, she bullhead landed at Beacon.
They were there a week early on Ozpin's request. Why Ozpin requested JNPR to come early was never revealed. As they came out of the bullhead, Ren, Nora and Pyrrha saw their teammate Jaune talking to team RWBY.
"Jaune!", Pyrrha called out. Jaune turned to face Pyrrha. Jaune looked waaay different. He cut his bangs into what Pyrrha could only describe as 'Banana hair'. Pyrrha scooped him up into a tight and very uncomfortable hug.
"Pyrrha. . . Can't . . . Breathe. . . ". Jaune, stuggling to breathe, let out a sigh of relief when Pyrrha let go. "Oops. Sorry, I just missed you so much. Hi guys!", Pyrrha said. Jaune smiled and Pyrrha got several responses from team RWBY.
"So, Jaune told us that JNPR has also been summoned early. Y'all know why?", Yang asked. Blake, Weiss and Ruby all faced NPR. They all shook their heads.
"Well, what's the harm in asking him ourselves?", Ren said. Very rarely did he ever talk out loud.
"Hmm, maybe you're ri-" was all Blake could mutter before the PA system in Beacon rang out. "Calling teams JNPR and RWBY to report to Professor Ozpin's office.".
"Well, I guess that answers that.", he finishes.
As they entered the elevator, they tried to think of a reason as to why Ozpin wants them early.
"Oh! Maybe Ozpin wants to put us into duos! Like split RW from BY and make 2 teams from one!", Ruby suggested. This, with the exception for Nora's Special-Ops Party suggestion, was the weirdest.
"What good would that make?", Weiss asked. "Maybe. . . Oh! Or. . . No, that wouldn't. . . .", Ruby said, unsure of her reasoning of her suggestion. Weiss and Ruby continued to bicker.
"Y'know, I thought that Ruby and Weiss liked eachother, but I'm starting to think otherwise.", Blake said. Pyrrha and Jaune, who he was talking to, look puzzled. "Why'd you think so?", Pyrrha asked.
"Well, Ruby was always constantly trying to make her open up to her. Sure, she can make one open up to her, but she won't open up. But, Ruby managed to do that, remember?". "Yeah, but that doesn't explain the 'otherwise' part.", Jaune said.
"Yeah yeah, I was getting there! Anyway, as I and Yang started dating last year, after she found out I was a guy, and I still have not mustered the courage to face my parents, I spent the break with Yang," Blake said. He took a breath, then continued.
"And with Weiss managing to break out of Jacques' custody, Ruby offered to harbour her for the break. So I was there to witness their development,". Jaune and Pyrrha were listening very closely.
"So? What you find out?", Pyrrha asked.
Blake said that "Ruby had went out with one of her friends from Signal, I think his name was. . . Oscar? But yeah, seems like she's straight.".
So, Blake's suspicions were put down because Ruby is most likely staight?
"Yeah. I didn't feel like prying, so I asked if Weiss had any. She denied without a red face, so she probably doesn't.".
Jaune, Pyrrha and Blake shared a chuckle between them before turning to Ruby tickling Weiss. "Ahhhahaha! R-Ruby! Stop it!", Weiss said. Ruby started laughing as hard as Weiss was.
She stopped when Yang told her they were reaching level 80, and they'd reach 100 (Ozpin's office) soon. She stopped early to let Weiss recover.
When the doors opened to level 100, Ozpin was sitting where he always did, at his desk with a mug of coffee with him.
"Please, take a seat,", Ozpin said. Pyrrha and Blake looked at eachother. They had been there once before, so they knew it was gonna be a long sit if he told them to sit.
4 HOURS AND SEVERAL CUPS OF HOT DRINKS LATER. . .
"So let me get this straight and simple. You wanted us to come early because of two reasons,", Weiss started.
"Because our Vytal Tournament reaults were astounding,", Ruby continued.
"And because you want to see if sister team hood makes a good pairing?", Yang finished.
As always, Ozpin took a sip of his coffee before answering. Funny, he called it rude when Ruby took a sip of milk earlier, but he does it anyway.
"Yes, that is what I am trying to convey.", he replied.
Yang asked why he decided to stretch it to a 4 hour lecture, of which he responded:
"Because, I also wanted to see how patient my students are. Looks like only 6 of you can hold your ground with out sleeping.".
He gestured to Pyrrha and Jaune, who had fallen asleep on the couch behind them. Pyrrha gripped Jaunes arm, and they both slept peacefully. Ozpin told Blake to take a picture. When Ruby asked ahy Ozpin told that as an order, he simply sipped his coffed. Again. Only then, he answered. Again.
"To teach those two a lesson of having patience and not giving in to humanly desires. Make sure to use this as leverage some day.".
A chorus of 'Oh's came from RWBY and NR. Once Blake snapped a pic, Ren was ordered to wake the two up. But, when he tried, Pyrrha just gripped on to Jaune tighter. Luckily, Nora came to the rescue.
"JAUNE, PYRRHA!", she yelped. RWBY, Ren and Ozpin all took a stpe back, or, in Ozpin's case, spat out his coffee. But, it was successful in waking up Pyrrha and Jaune.
Jaune came too first, taking in the surroundings. When he realised what Pyrrha was doing, he was about to yelp when he saw Pyrrha looking up to Jaune. Those green eyes were so mezmerizing he couldn't look away. Pyrrha could say the same thing about Jaune's blue ones. Neither could look away. Until they realised the situation, at least.
"S-sorry. . .", Pyrrha said after her yelp caused her to fall out if the couch. She helped him up, and he saw her blushing. Quite furiously, at that. He got up, and apologised as well for not saying something sooner. Ren and Nora looked at eachother, giving looks of 'Yeah, they're into eachother'.
After Ozpin told them off for sleeping during his lecture, and assigning them they're dorms, they made their way to said dorm. As they were first years last year, they were supposed to be in level -2 now, but the twin dorms were situated on lever -3.
Each level had a kitchen, a common room on each point, a gym, and a common room. The lay out was slighly different, but that was because there were less 3rd years. Only 6 3rd year teams this year, 8 if you include the twin teams. But the 4 twin teams would have their own classes sperate from other years. Twin teams are either 2nd or 3rd years. The ither two teams was team CFVY, and SDAA, a transfer team from Haven.
Haven's head master, Leo Lionhart, was covicted of treason during last year's summer break. Haven's students were then transferd to either Beacon or Shade. SDAA is actually a team of 4 people from 2 teams. SDAA's members were:
Sun Wukong
Scarlet David
Ariadne Guime
Annabelle Arc
While Ariadne's familiy lives in Vacuo, Shade, at the time, was too full for new students. Thus, she moved to Haven.
Jaune's 3rd older sister is also on team SDAA. Annabelle is older that Jaune by one year.
Sun and Scarlet were once on team SSSN in Haven, but Neptune and Sage both were placed in Shade when several of their students transfered to several smaller academies in the Vacuan and Valean country sides like Signal.
So, our main cast does know a little about team SDAA. Jaune is realated to Ann, and team RWBY is overly familiar with Sun and Sage. That leaves Ariadne. They figure that they'd get to know her over the course of the year. Oh, and there will be a meet and greet dinner between the 16 people tomorrow, so surely they'd get to know her then, right?
The elevator's bell made a 'ding' sound and teams RWBY and JNPR spilled out of the elevator. Coincidentally, both the teams dorms were right next to each other.
Jaune and Pyrrha came in together, and saw the dorm first. It was a bigger room than last year, and had 2 desks on 2 sides if the room. Two next to the door, and two next to the furthers corner from the door. Next to those two desks, there was a door. There were also 2 other doors parallel to the other one.
The closest on to them revealed a closet. Enough space for the 4 people to keep their clothes, folded and stacked. The door next to that revealed a toilet. It was a little bigger than the closet, but it was still very small.
The 3rd door revealed a dining table with 8 chairs. And there was another door that most likely lead to another room. "8? Why are there 8?", Pyrrha asked. Before any of her team members could reply, the door that lead to another room opend inwards.
It was team RWBY's dorm that the door lead to. Nora was excited. "Yay! We can bother you guys as much as we want!".
Ruby, who had opened the door, looked at Nora, unimpressed. "You do that, you won't get your sleep at night.". Immediately, she backed off. No one botheres Nora or her sleep schedule.
"Oh, this'll be so fun! We can visit eachother anyday, everyday and-", Ruby said. She was interrupted by Yang. "We could have a sleepover tonight!". JNPR and RWB loved that idea.
After they settled down and organised their belongings, they set out to explore the resto of the floor. Down the hall, across to the elevator lobby, there was a kitchen. The kitchen had a bunch of space for all 4 teams to use simultaneously. 2 fridges, an oven, 2 microwaves and 6 stoves. Needless to say, Ren would be spending a lot of time here.
On the other side of the kitchen walls were the gymnasium and locker rooms. Obviously, the locker rooms were gender seperated, much to the average pervert's dismay. The gym was the same as last year. Shower rooms, punching bags, treadmills, and dummy grimm. Nothing weird.
To the right of team RWBY's room, on the same wall, there was a common room, strictly for JNPR and RWBY's use only. In said room, there was a TV, a couch facing said TV, a billiards table, and a coffee table in front of the TV.
Further down the hall, were the 3rd year dormitories. Unfortunately, they had to share the gym with them. The kitchen, however, was for the twin rooms only. RWBY, JNPR, SDAA and CFVY are allowed to have their lunch at their dorms, at the agreement that they wouldn't be more than 10 minutes late to class.
Speaking if class, Ruby told everyone that their classes would only have them and the other 2 twin teams. "Classes will be held in 1st year classes, after their day us over. Our classes start at 2:30 in the afternoon, and finish at sundown. That's great! I can sleep in!", Ruby said.
Teams JNPR and RWBY was excited about their new class arrangement. They made it back to their dorms and, seeing as it was already 2, Pyrrha, Jaune and Blake went to the kitchen to help Ren fix up their lunch.
While Jaune was just talking with Blake (something about Pumpkin Pete's), his sister came in and interrupted him.
"Oh, brother!", Ann said in a sings-ongy voice. Jaune knew what was gonna happen. Ann tackled Jaune, but he didn't flinch. Ann went straight through Jaune. A second Ann came, but Jaune thought it was the real one, and got ready. Again, no hit. As Jaune was wondering what happened, when Ann used the opportunity to tackle her little brother.
"Oughh!", he grunted, quite painfully. "Hi, Jauney old boy! D'you miss me?", she asked. Pyrrha giggled a little seeing her partner being overrun by his sister.
"Oh, Ann. Why'd you do that now? And yes, I missed you.", Jaune replied, Ann still kneeling on his chest. "Oh, when did my little brother become so sensitive?", she said, finally getting of her brother.
Ann got up, and helped Jaune up too. She wore brown cargo pants with a black belt on her waist. On the belt, she had dust that she used in combination with her weapon, of which was not present. Her top was a cotton loose t-shirt with a heart on it. While being longsleeve, the ends of the sleeves were kitted out with blue and magenta metal plating and brass knuckles with her initials on it. She had fair skin, like Jaune, and gold hair like Yang's, and a streak of black runing through it. Her eyes are blue, and she seems very energetic. Like Nora!
"I still remember that one time when Saphron handed you her pet snake and-Hmpphff!", Ann spat out. Jaune's hanf went onto her mouth before she could finish her sentence. "NO! You ain't telling anyone that if you want me to not do the thing.", he said. She pulled Jaune's hand of and scoffed. "Yeah right.", was all Ann said before he did so.
"AHHAHAH! Jaune! Stahahp it!", she said as he tickled her more. She turned around and pushed Jaune to the ground. They dusted eachother of and helped eachother off.
Pyrrha and Ren had been watching the little thing happen. Blake was the first to ask. "Jaune, care to introduce us?". Jaune apologised for his reluctantly and introduced them. "Ann, this is Blake, Pyrrha and Ren. Guys, this is Annabelle Arc. My sister.
Pyrrha sighed out of relief internally. 'I still have a chance.' she thought. "Pleasure to meet ya! I'm Annabell, but you can call me Ann. Or, Anny!", she said, extending her hand to Pyrrha for a handshake. She accepted and shook her hand. Her face frowned in pain as Ann gripped her tightly. Gosh, she was strong!
"So, what ya doing with my loser of a brother?", Ann said, to which Jaune replied with a 'Hey!'. "Oh, he was just telling me about his attempt at getting a Pumpkin Pete's hoodie and-", Blake said. He was interrupted by Ann, saying "Did he tell you how many boxes he bought to get that stinkin' thing? 791.". Pyrrha and Ren looked at eachother astonished, then Ren looked to the stove, where his fish was starting to be chared. He quickly started to flip it.
"Jaune! All for a hoodie?", Pyrrha said. Jaune looked down and twirled his fingers. ". . . At least they taste nice.", he said. Pyrrha and Ann both laughed and they invited Blake into the conversation.
"Say, Ann, how'd you do that thing just now? You know, the phasing through Jaune's body with clones thing.", Blake asked.
"Oh, that's my semblance. I call it Anna-Clones. I can create several clones of myself at once and hide myslef.", she said. "Oh, that's quite similar to my sembalnce. But, it doesn't hide me. And I can only make one me.", Blake said. Ann thought that the resemblance was uncanny.
"Jaune, mind helping me open the doors in the dorm?", Ren said, carrying their dinner. It was meant to be lunch, but cooking ut took too long, and now it was 8 p.m. It was a fried fish, in a lemon type broth. He would obviously have to take the rice and the soda individually, but after Jaune opened the doors it shouldn't be a problem.
"Alright. Ann, it was good seeing you.", Jaune said, bidding farewell to his sister. She waved goodbye, smiling as she did so. As Jaune and Ren exited, Ann's face tirned serious. "Alright, I know one of y'all have a crush on my brother. Which one of you. Spill it.". Blake denied it with a straight face, and thus Ann concluded that Pyrrha did. She did have a blush on her face now.
"Pyrrha?! You have a crush on Jaune?!", Blake exclaimed. Pyrrha pleaded her to keep it down, to no use. The last line was said even louder.
"Okay, okay. Keep it down!", she said.
"D'you want a tip? He is very dense. Make your moves obvious. Like a poem or a song or something.".
Pyrrha cringed as she remembered Jaune's futile attepts to serenade Weiss last year. Goodness, it was bad.
"I certainly won't be singing. And poetry isn't my thing. How about a blatantly obvious date?", she asked. Ann recalled everything she knew about her broher.
"Hmmm. . . Yeah, that could work! Good luck, Nikos. Keep me updated. See ya!", she said, walking of to team SDAA'S room.
Dinner was absolutely amazing. Once again, Ren had hit it outta the park. Ren was clearing out the table, Jaune and Weiss helping out too.
Ruby and Yang were to full to talk, and Nora had fallen into a foodcoma. Blake and Pyrrha were the only ones conscious enough to make a conversation.
"So, where you planning on taking Jaune?", Blake asked. Pyrrha sighed. She had no idea.
"You don't know?", Blake said. Pyrrha took a dip of her water she had at the table. With that opportunity, Blake told it to Ruby and Yang, who had a face of surprise (Ruby) and evil thoughts (Yang).
"Ohh! That's news if I've ever heard any!", she said. Yang kept quiet, as if she was savouring how flushed Pyrrha looked. Blake looked at Yang and realised the sinister look she was giving.
"Yang, promise me, please, that the teasing won't get too out of hand.", He said. Yang stuck her tongue out at Blake, but when she realised that he was serious, she backed off.
"Okay, okay, I won't go too overboard. Keyword, too.", she said. Blake rolled her eyes snd playfully punched her shoulder.
After a while of planning, Pyrrha decided.
"Alright, I'm NOT going to bring him to Atlas and propose right then and there.", she said, shooting a look at Ruby. "But, I think a good date would be one to the movies. Whaddya think?".
The 3 other girls thought about it, then thought why hadn't they thought of that earlier, and they gave her a look of approval. "Yeah, that might work!", Blake said. Pyrrha smiled at the 3 of them. Yang, who loved just being a fool, treated the discussion like it was a business transaction.
"Alright, so it's settled. Miss Nikos will bring the customer to the movies and sell him on the product, that being Pyrrha,", she said. Blake tolled his eyes, but Yang continued.
"Oh, and I'll personally see it through that XiaoRose Holdings gives full support and funding.". Pyrrha knew exactly what she meant. "Oh, you guys really don't have to do that. I can. . .". She was about to say that she could pay herself, but then she remembered that she was kinda running low on cash (who do you think bought all the food?). So, she just accepted it.
"Thank you. . . . Miss Xiao Long. And don't worry, I'm sure Nikos Holdings will sell it to the customer.", she said, keeping the light atmosphere. Yang and Pyrrha shook hands across the table and slipped in to team RWBY'S dorm. Blake and Ruby giggled at the two girls shenanigans.
Everyone except Yang was sat down on the floor in RWBY'S dorm. "Y'all don't know what you're in for.", Ruby said, directing it to JNPR. Pyrrha and Jaune, in particular. This just made JNPR even more worried about what the following events might do to their mental state. Knowing Yang, it wasn't gonna be without stress.
Suddenly, the lights went out. "BOO!", Yang exclaimed, startling team JNPR outta their skins. Yang and Ruby collapsed laughing at their stricken faces. Weiss and Blake just watched, with a face of anticipation and worry.
Yang turned on a lamp and placed it in the middle of the circle the 2 teams made. "Alrighty, here's the deal. We'll play a classic game of truth or dare. . .", she said. JNPR, Pyrrha in particular, looked relieved. 'Oh, nothing too insane', JPR thought. Nora thought that it would be lame.
". . . But with a twist!", Yang finished. Now, JNPR were all ears again. What now? "We'll be playing Xiao Long rules. Ruby will explain. Ruby?", she said, motioning to her sister.
"The first player, that is decided with a game of Lattalilat, will choose a random person and ask a question. Once the question is asked, it may not be repeated. If it is, the zapper will get ya.".
Lattalilat is a game where you choose either to put the back or the palm of your hand up. The minority is the one that wins and goes first.
Jaune interrupted her explanation with an important question. "Zapper?! What zapper?!". Yang turned the torch light in the middle around and pushed a button. The light remained on, albeit with a few less lumens. Through the middle, an electronic device came out. That looked like a zapper, alright.
"Woah. T-that doesn't hurt too much, right?", Pyrrha asked. She was the Mistral champion, but she still hated pain. "I dunno, why don't you test it?", Yang replied. Before Pyrrha could protest, the zapper zapped her. Fast, but still hurt like crap.
"Owww! Good gravy, that hurt!", she exclaimed. Jaune and Blake both shared a look of unapproval. "Ruby, please continue.", the big sis said.
"Alright. The zapper will also zap you if you 1, lie, and two, refuse the dare or to answer the question if you chose a truth twice. Only if you refuse twice will you be out. Oh, and the person who the first person chose gets to ask the next question. Choosing is random.", Ruby said. Yang clarified that that was it.
"Alright. Y'all know what Lattalilat is right?", the rest of them nodded.

Pyrrha and Yang's hands were the only ones with their palm down. Lattalilat rules state that if less than 2 people are the only people in the minority, then they must play rock paper scissors.
"Rock, paper, scissors shoot!", the two called out. Yang chose rock, and Pyrrha paper. Pyrrha gets to choose who to ask first.
"Hmmm, okay, Blake. Truth or dare?", she asked. Blake's ears perked up as she asked it. "Ermmm. . . Dare.", he said.
"I dare you, to lay on Yang's lap like a cat for the rest of the game.". Blake thought of it, and Yang gave him a flirty look. Blake said "As you wish.", and put his head on Yang's lap. A small purr came out of the cat faunus as he laid in her lap.
Before she got too comfy, Blake chose who he'd ask next. ". . . Nora. Truth or dare.".
"Truth.".
"Is it true that once during the holidays, when Ren wanted to wake you up, you pulled him into bed with you.".
Nora, unphased by the question, nonchalantly said "Yep. He didn't resist much, though.". A faint groan was heard from Ren, who was next to her. Giggles fell onto the room as Nora asked Jaune next.
"Dare.".
"I dare you, to. . . ", she paused, most likely for dramatic affect. Not much impact, other than in Jaune.
". . . To treat Pyrrha like your girlfriend for the entire night!", she finished. Pyrrha was drinking a cup of soda, and when she heard the dare, she spat her soda right out.
As she was stuggling, she felt a hand pat in her back. It was Jaune. "Are you okay?", he said, with his face starting to turn a little red.
Pyrrha nodded and Jaune put his hand on her, in a sideways hugging motion, squeezing tight. "Alright, my turn eh?". He looked around the room. Yang had not been asked yet.
"Yang.".
"Dare. I ain't scared of-", was all she said before Jaune delivered the dare. "I dare you to let Blake do whatever she wants with you. Anything.". Yang thought of it, but didn't reject. She agreed, and Blake was released. The first thing was that she wanted Yang to do was let her cut her hair. Immediately, Yang turned and said: "Zapper, zap me.". The zapper didn't do squat.
"Yang, you forgot a rule you made. No backsies. You are not allowed to change your decision. There is nothing you can do.", Ruby reminded her. Yang cursed at herself for making that damn rule and pleaded to Blake and Jaune to not make her cut her precious locks.
"Please. . . I'll do anything.". Blake was not budging, but Jaune thought, and gave her the exception. "But, only if you can make it the entire night withoutaking a joke and/or pun.". Yang felt this was equally bad, but she felt it would be better than having her gold locks cut. She obliged, and now she got to choose someone.
"Ice Queen! Truth or da-".
"Don't call me that.".
The rest of the game went on, and the further into the night it went, people were getting zapped and eliminated. Weiss was the first to be eliminated, being dared to take her top off, she was wearing undergarments, and to talk the rest of the game in accents.
Among the others eliminated were Ren, Blake, Ruby and Jaune. Only Pyrrha, Nora and Yang remained. What was happening? Jaune was wearing Pyrrha's skirt after Nora dared him to, Yang still had Blake on her lap, asleep, along with her hair tied up in a bun. Weiss had her hair tied to Ruby, after Yang dared them to. And Ren and Nora were wearing eachothers tops, at Ruby's request. Blake was eliminated after he forfeited (he was tired).
"Alright, Yang. Give me your best.", Nora said, visibally tired. "I dare you. . .". Yang pointed at the wardrobe and said ". . . To where Blake's maind outfit in there." Instantly, Blake woke up. Who did Yang think she was, giving Blake's stuff out with no second thought. She protested, to no avail. Nora, who was already so tired, accepted defeat and told Yang to get the zapper. Thus, Nora was eliminated and only Jaune and Yang were left.
"Haha! One to go. Jaune, truth or dare.", she said. Jaune chose the latter, wanting to get it over with.
"I dare you, to kiss Pyrrha on the lips and wake her up while doing so.", she said. Jaune looked stunned, but obliged. He got close to Pyrrha and woke her up just before their lips met. Purrha opened her eyes, and saw those blue eyes. Before she could say anything, Jaune's lips met hers. Goodness, did Pyrrha not expect that. Their lips were together for what Jaune said was 1 minute, but for Pyrrha it lasted for eternity.
After Jaune pulled away, he left Pyrrha in a state of disarray. The heck just happened? Jaune kissed her? The heck? "Sorry, it was a dare.", he said. 'CURSE YOU YANG XIAO LONG!', was what she thought of saying, but instead, she said, "Well, thank you for waking me up. I say it's time we go to bed.", she said. The 2 other students looked up at the clock and lo-and behold!
It was 2:55 a.m.
"Gosh, i suppose it is. Welp, goodnight!", Yang said, immediately turning the lights off. While Weiss and Ruby were playing cards, they had their own light. Still, they went to bed as soon as Yang turned the light off.
By the time Yang had delivered her dare, everyone had their sleeping bags. Or, atleast, JNPR had. Team RWBY were gonna just sleep on their beds.
As Jaune crawled into his sleeping bag, Pyrrha was already waiting for him. They were the inly ones awake. Once he was comfy, he let out a sigh of relief.
"Crazy, huh.", he said. "What do you mean?", Pyrrha asked. She was looking up at the ceiling and turned over to face Jaune. Jaune did so too.
"Crazy how we're gonna get another year together. It felt like it was just yesterday that you pinned me to the tree, in the Emerald Forest.", he said. Pyrrha and Jaune both shared a loght chucke at the end. Pyrrha got her right arm out of the sleeping bag and held Jaune's.
