Chapter 146 Backwarder

I don't own Kamen Rider Ryuki or Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.

Miku was walking down the streets of Paris alone and was checking her watch.

"It's not fair that I have to work in certain hours, I can't be with my darling." She frowns.

Miku has been doing a lot of shows since her agent wants her to do more work, Eric was nicer than him.

She sits down at a bench and rests for a bit with a sigh.

Someone sits next to her and sees a elderly woman with green eyes wearing a trench coat.

"Is something bothering you my dear?" The woman asked.

"Oh it's just..." Miku wonders about her name.

"My name is Marianne Lenoir."

"I'm Miku, it's just that my job is so unfair sometimes, I love to sing but I wish my agent didn't take my free time to record more albums, I want to spend more time with my darling." Miku said.

Marianne smiles. "I understand, I used to be like you, in love and full of life."

Miku looks at her and got curious.

"I met someone a long time ago, we were so happy back then, until one moment we were attacked by a enemy army, I came back here to see him but I don't know if he'll come." Marianne looks foward.

"Don't give up, if he's your darling than he'll come." Miku cheers for her.

Marianne smiles at her again. "Your such a sweet girl, follow your heart and you'll be happy my dear."

Miku nodded and gets up. "Thank you." She runs off.

Marianne watches her leave. "She reminds me of when I was younger."

Meanwhile

Toxic was at his base and he was looking at his two advent beasts. "If I could make a contract with a dark version of Knight's beast, then could I make more."

He remembers when Azurite managed to make a contract with Feast so can he do the same.

He then gets a call and said: "Yes."

"Toxic, it's time." Hawkmoth said.

"Another villain to help, okay, also what's with the different sound." Toxic said.

"I'm in a different place as i'm far from my lair." Hawkmoth said.

"Don't tell me your in a restroom, that's for beginners." Toxic said.

"Just go." Hawkmoth grunts before ending the call.

Toxic sighs and goes to his vehicle driving off.

Outside

Jin was walking down the road and he sees a new villain on top of the ferris wheel laughing, it was Backwarder and he got surprised.

"Okay gotta go." He goes to a restroom.

Miku saw Backwarder and she said: "Now i'll have all the time in the world."

"Miss Marianne!" She got surprised.

She runs inside a backroom from a alley and changes into Diva before going out.

Diva flies up and sees Backwarder backwards the wheel making the people inside of it scream.

"I gotta save them." She said.

Backwarder jumps off the Ferris wheel, backwards two cars and a civilian; the civilian is about to get hit by a backwarded car.

Diva gasps but luckly Ladybug came and saved them all taking them to a safe spot. "Here! You'll be safe here in the meantime."

Diva came and Ladybug saw her. "Oh good to see your here Diva."

Cat Noir then comes in moonwalking. "M'Lady, okay you are?"

The two frowned at him before he got bonked over the head, they saw Verde appear. "This is no time for your games."

"Cat Noir! They've been hit by a super-villain!" Ladybug said.

"Uh, yeah I saw that; looks like she's making them go back in time!" Cat Noir said.

They started to run towards the villain.

"I won't bore you with the details, but I'm sure the akumatized object is the brooch with the Chinese ideogram she's wearing." Ladybug said.

Diva remembers that same brooch. "Yeah, she could be right."

"Okay, so we have to get that thing." Verde said.

"Yeah, we trust you." Cat Noir said.

Backwarder uses her sword on civilians until Ladybug stops her from using backward on yet another one.

"Not so fast!" Ladybug said.

"There you are again, you ghastly bug! Once I've touched you, all I have to do is wait for you to transform back!" Backwarder said.

Verde charges foward until he avoids a blast and he saw Toxic coming inside of his vehicle.

"I am here to get you!" Toxic keeps shooting him.

Verde goes around dodging his attacks, Jurassic and Alternative came and they helped him out by knocking some of the blasts together.

"They won't save you!" He makes stronger ones to shoot at them.

"Cat Noir! I was at Master Fu's earlier! We can't let her touch me otherwise she'll lead Hawk Moth straight to the Guardian! And the Miracle Box!" Ladybug told him.

Backwarder attacks her but Cat Noir blocked the attack. "I'll gladly be your bodyguard, m'lady." He looks at the villain. "In no time you'll be back the way you were before you got akumatized!"

Diva flies around her and sings making Backwarder grunt. "My voice is something you can't stop."

"We'll see about that." She said.

Ladybug launches Backwarder into a lamppost; Cat Noir attempts to attack Backwarder but she uses her power to put the lamppost back and it hits him, Diva came shooting lights making the villain block the attacks as she uses her powers on a car making it go back at Diva.

Ladybug throws a different car at her making Backwarder use her powers on it. "Return to sender!" It goes back to her but Ladybug dodged it.

Toxic keeps shooting at the riders and laughs. "Soon you three will be turned into dust."

Ladybug dodges a blast that came and Backwarder does the same.

"Watch where you aim that thing!" Backwarder said.

"Oh shut up." Toxic said.

"Now's my chance!" She throws her yo yo up. "Lucky Charm!"

It then makes a slingshot making Ladybug grab it. "A slingshot."

"Oh we throw rocks at her while we hide." Cat Noir said.

Ladybug looks around, she looks at his staff, the tank, Diva and the sword of Backwarder.

"Of course." Ladybug smiles taking his staff.

"You could at least ask." Cat Noir said.

"Verde!" Ladybug calls out to him and nodded.

HOLD VENT!

He gets his yo yo ready for what she's planning.

Ladybug aims with the staff and said: "Diva sing!"

Diva smiles and makes a big high note making Backwarder get sent back as her weapon got knocked off, Verde catches it and touches the tank with it.

"What the?!" Toxic looks at his vehicle.

The blasts he fired came back to him and the one he shot near the shots came back too with one hitting Backwarder in the broach.

"No!" She got shocked as the akuma came out.

"No more evil doing for you little akuma." Ladybug said opening her Yo-yo and thows it at it. "time to de-evilize." She catches it and grabs the yo-yo. "Gotcha!" she opens it to reveal it was normal. "Bye-bye little butterfly."

"Miraculous ladybug!" She throws her lucky charm up as everything got put back to normal and Backwarder changed back.

"Pound it!" The heroes fist bumped.

"Oh great." Toxic had to drive away. "We'll get you guys next time."

"Just try it wing head!" Cat Noir said.

Marianne got up. "What happened?"

Ladybug goes up to her and give Marianne a letter. "I gave you the wrong letter earlier, I hope you'll forgive me. I can't do anything to change the past, but, I hope this letter will change your future." She swings away and Marianne smiles.

Later

Miku was watching from a alley and she saw Fu go up to Marianne.

"I hope she'll be okay." She said.

Miku came since she wanted to see if Marianne will be alright, she can't hear it, but she can tell by body language.

"Marianne, I'm sorry I took so long to come here. I always felt as long as I was in charge of the Miracle Box, I'd be a danger to anyone I'm close to... but that's all in the past now." He said.

She touches his hand. "I know you always wanted to do what's best. I know what a responsibility it is being the Guardian of the Miraculous. Unfortunately, Hawk Moth now knows that I know you."

"Yes, he could hurt you to get to me." Fu said.

"We can't be together again until he's been defeated." Marianne said.

"I have full trust in the ones I have chosen." Fu said as they held hands. "They will succeed."

"Now it's my turn to go and hide, my sweet darling Fu." Marianne said.

"Marianne, I've never told you this but I... I..."

She places a finger on his lips. "Shh. Save it for when I get back."

Miku has tears since it looked so beautiful. "I wish me and Jin can have such a wonderful moment too."

The couple stayed together for the moment until the next time they see each other.

Note: Heres my variant of Backwarder, I had to alter some scenes since I wanted Marianne and Miku to have a interaction since both would talk about the love they have for they're own guys, also I have made a poll to let you all decide who of the five riders I picked gets to be part of the team.
