I was still so confused, like what this so called mixture was and was it something I needed to call my dad about. "Can we leave?" Klea asked, "you all can yes but Max stays" she said, "we are not leaving without him" Klea said angry now. "He is fine!" Shane said, "look I get it there is something going on here but like why do you need me?" I asked, "you are the key to all of this Max" the girl said, "the key to what?" I asked none of this made any sense, "do you think his blood would work?" one of thy guys asked, "oh it might" she said and they tried to take my blood but Klea and Hunter were not having it, "oh my god I am not going to hurt him" she said as her friends were able to get Klea and Hunter off me, she was actually gentle about it, "I am in pre med so I know what I am doing" she said. "Can you tell me what this is all about?" I asked, "Fine but I need your friends to leave" she said. "No way" Klea said, "Klea please I am fine okay" I said, "Max are you crazy" she said, "no but I am curious, I promise I am okay" I said, "I will keep him safe" the girl said, "take this and the minute you sense trouble call me" Klea said handing me my phone. I nodded but I also knew that they wouldn't be far.
"Now that they are gone?" I said, "fine I am sort of a psychic and I have seen bad things, and every time I see the future Max I see you" she said. "What does that mean?" I asked, "I don't know, I have been trying to figure it out for months, I tried everything, and Shane here said he knew you. I thought maybe having you here would help" she said. "What is it you are drinking?" I asked, "it's a drug that stops your heart, I can only see the future if I am well its complicated" she said, "so let me get this straight, you need to die to see the future?" I said, "yes" she said, "how did you figure that out?" I asked, "I died a few times, but it doesn't matter, Max we are going to try this again, 3 minutes okay, If we don't wake up in 3 minutes call 911" she said. This time things were way more complicated. "Why all of you?" I asked, "they are my link to this side" she said and I didn't know what that meant but they all drank the mixture again. I watched them all closely and this time the girl stood up, "you will be the key to saving us all" she said and she dropped to the floor. This was so damn weird, I felt like I was in a dream. I texted Klea told her I was still okay she was blowing up my phone, it was going on 2 and half minutes, and I was about to call 911 when they all stood up.
"Anything?" one of the men asked, "yes it worked! I saw it all" the girl said, "what exactly did you see?" I said, "the killer" she said, "wait what?" I said not knowing this had anything to do with a killer. "He is not known yet but Max you will stop him' she said, "how am I supposed to stop someone who doesn't exist yet?" I said, "it's the future I have no idea, but my sister is going to be one of his victims and I am hoping you can stop him before he takes her" she said. "I am not even a cop yet" I said, "you will be" she said as she handed something to one of the guys and he looked like he was drawing something. A few minutes later he handed it to me, "that is what he will look like" the girl said. "I am so confused" I said, "just in say 3 years time Max start looking for him" the girl said as she pushed me out the door. Klea was on me instantly, "what was that?" she said, "I am not sure but apparently this guy is going to be some sort of serial killer and I am meant to find him" I said. "This is just weird" Klea said, "you are telling me, where is Adam?" I asked, "testing that weird mixture" she said. I knew she took it, "okay let's go back to school" I said and they nodded, I lay on my bed and my mom was calling. "Hey mom" I said, "hi honey how are things?" she asked, "good just tired" I said, "I see just wondering are you coming home for thanksgiving?" she asked, "yes" I said, "great can't wait to see you" Skye said and we talked for a few more minutes before I had to tell her I had homework. She would have kept talking to me forever.
I kept the drawing I mean I had to right, I still didn't know if this whole thing was a bunch of bullshit. If this guy was a serial killer in the future and I am meant to stop him you can bet I will do my best and find him before he hurt anyone. I was going to start looking now I mean maybe I could find him before he killed anyone. I knew that I had homework but I was too tired to do it, I groaned but pulled out my books. I managed to finish it and it was just after 11 pm, I showered and went to bed. I was going to need to be up early for class and I was hoping to actually get one decent night of sleep. I woke up before my alarm for once but something felt off where was Adam, and Hunter. I looked at my phone it was 5 am why were they not in their beds. Then I saw a man he was in the corner and I looked down at his feet and both my friends were dead lying there. I screamed and woke up, "Woah are you okay?" Hunter asked, "fine" I said, damn now I was having nightmares of a serial killer that didn't exist. This was going to be an exhausting week, and I still had no idea if what that girl told me as true or just some made up story.
