Riley
I was so excited to be in they vet program now, and honestly I think I owed all of that to Jared. He was amazing, I never thought I would find a boyfriend too. I knew he was like 2 years older than me but I didn't care, the only thing I wanted was for Josh to meet him, I needed my older brother to like him, so he agreed to come home with me this weekend. I was excited and plus I would get to see my nieces again, they were getting so big, like not even the same kids anymore. "Hey beautiful" Jared said walking up to me, he made me blush he was always saying nice things to me like that, "Hi" I said back as he twirled me around and kissed me. I mean how could my brother not approve of him he was so perfect, and I felt amazing when I was with him, he made me feel like the only girl in the world. "How is the program going?" he asked, "its good, sort of stuff I learned already but I am okay with that" I said, "of course because you are perfect" he said. "Oh jeez" I said and he laughed, we headed home, Max and Klea were working on a project, they were so far ahead of the rest of their class I felt like they would graduate early, I mean they probably good. Together they have accomplished so much and even went out of their way to stop the guy who took those little pangolins. I am glad they were all okay and able to get home and not be used in some sick experiment. Jared and I saved a few birds and stuff but nothing since then and I felt like I needed the rush of it and maybe we could become rescuers in the future. He could be the hero who saves them and bring them to me the vet who helps them heal, we could be like a recovery center.
The more I thought about it the more I wanted to do it and I knew he would be on board, he wanted to do everything with me. Jared and I were getting closer and closer every day, the only time we were apart was when I was in class. I did feel him around though, I knew he was always close by keeping an eye on me. He would walk to me to and from my classes and even bring me coffees and lunch. Like he was just all round perfect in so many ways. "Max we are heading home" I said, "Oh right okay tell everyone I said hi" he said, "I will, and thanks for letting us borrow your car" I said, "yeah no problem, just try not to crash it" he said, "haha we won't" I said and I hugged him before we left. Jared would be driving, I was not that big a fan on the freeway it made me nervous. Jared was a good driver on top of everything else he was good at, we are stuck in traffic though, and we noticed a truck flipped over on its side. "Oh my gosh Jared!" I said as I climbed out of the car, he followed me, this truck was carrying an eagle it appeared to be hurt. I looked it over, it had a broken wing and was bleeding. "What happened?" I asked, "well I was trying to save it, it had a broken wing, and then the truck flipped over and I am pretty sure it was run over. I am so upset" the man said. I did everything I could but the eagle never made it it was too far gone. "I am sorry he is gone" I said. "I know, thank you for trying, I appreciate it are you a vet?" he asked, "training to be one yeah" I said, "well you will make a very good one" he said and I smiled. We climbed back into the car and traffic was moving again as we made our way back home.
"I wish I could have done more" I said, "no you did everything you could, that man should not have had the hurt eagle in the back of his truck, this is not on you Riley" Jared said. "I know I just feel like I should have done more" I said, "you did what you could, you will be an amazing vet love" he said. "Thanks" I said as we finally made it home, we stopped at Josh and Sophies' first and I climbed out of the car and ran to my brother full blast. "Hey kiddo" he said. I hugged him so tight, I missed him, "Josh!' I said, and he laughed, "I am proud of you Riley, the way you helped save those animals, and getting into the vet program because of it" he said. "Thanks, Josh this is my boyfriend Jared" I said, "nice to meet you Jared" Josh said shaking his hand, "thanks you too, she talks about you so much I feel like I know you" Jared said. "That is sweet" Josh said and I rolled my eyes, I did not talk about my brother that much. We all went inside, and Ashe ran up to me, "RILEY!" she squealed, and she was very excited, "hey oh my goodness you are so big!" I said. I couldn't believe she was 3 already, and Janna was 7 months now and both of them were just getting so big. We had dinner and hung out the entire evening. Josh and Jared really seemed to hit it off, and I was so happy, it is exactly what I wanted. The next morning, Josh pulled me aside, "he is good Riley and it seems like he really cares for you" he said, "he does, and he is amazing" I said, "I can see the look in your eyes it is how I felt for Sophie. I approve Riley but please just be careful" he said. "Thanks Josh, I love you" I said, "Love you too Kiddo always" Josh said and he hugged me as we left and we went to visit my parents and he hit if off with Owen and my dad too, Evelynn was a bit hesitant, but she was still young. It was overall a good weekend, and I was ready to go back home and so was he. I had class in the morning, and we would be learning some new things so I was really excited.
Jared was a hit with my family and I couldn't be happier, we both also agreed to running a business together, "I think we will be amazing together my love" Jared said. "I agree, we will be the best rescue and vet in all of Adventure Bay" I said, "oh we will be moving" he said, "oh I mean we don't have too" I said. "Are you kidding I would follow you to the moon if you asked me, I would love to live in Adventure Bay with you" he said. I smiled as he kissed me I had a feeling him and I would be together for a long time I was in love with him.
