In Your Corner.
Author's note: Hey everyone I am back with a new chapter, and I want to apologize for the long notes but I just wanted to get the point across. And, I know for majority of the chapters it was Jaune suffering, but I will tell you this, he will still face some hardships, but now he has amazing people with him now. Let's see what has happened after what happened to him.
Jaune was not having a good time. After what happened and his release people was sending him threats, from death, to bodily harm. Some people from his school was saying: 'What couldn't get any naturally, so you had force yourself on someone you sicko!' to 'Failed Beacon, and to make yourself feel better you take advantage of someone your sick, don't let me see you in public, your not going to like it.'
That was some of the more tamed versions of what he was getting from school and people sending him hate mail from over the country. His community wanted to essentially crucify him, and get him out of Ansel, when he was sent home. They assumed it was an abuse of power due to them being Arcs. So they had to hunker down in their home from a small mob who wanted Jaune. He didn't sleep that whole night until the break of dawn. He awoke when his mother came running in.
"Honey look at the news, your recording worked!" His mom came running in with happy tears coming down her face. Jaune looked at the news article, and gave a tired, sad smile. He thought ahead about what would happen, and got his biggest bullies in trouble with clearing his name. He was about to get out when he was seeing replies.
'They can make anything up to make him look innocent.' 'I can't see his video properly.' 'I heard he is a well known family, he probably bought out his freedom, or made it look like he is innocent.' 'She's very beautiful, poor girl to be put in this situation.' That made Jaune froze, he was seeing how messed up people can be to others who are accused of this, but he also seen others supporting him, he gave a small smile, seeing others supporting him. 'That woman needs to be jailed for doing that to him. 'She is a big bully trying ruin his life, I hope he will be safe.' 'I always thought that humans were the bigger monsters, this almost solidify it but, I have seen other Faunus in this, and that broke my heart.' 'He should sue her, destroy her life, like she tried to do to him.'
Jaune had tears in his eyes so glad that he had people who believed in him, and sad how people can be so cruel. Then he seen a new breaking news caption.
"Young Woman Arrested For False Rape Allegations!" Jaune looked at the headline with wide eyes, it was a news coverage of what happened and watched a live feed.
"We are live to see the arrest of a young woman who is a senior in high school. After the fake video exclaiming her alleged assault, another video was submitted by the victim of extreme bullying. With the video submitted she is being arrested for, False imprisonment, Assault, and False allegations." "We see local law enforcement of the area about to arrest h- wait there she is right now." Catherine was taken out kicking and screaming. "Get the f*ck off me you assholes! Jaune Arc, you are f**king dead when I get out! I will cut your dick and balls off, and make you swallow them f**king limped dick loser!"
"As you can see she is very vocal about her arrest, and the other ones who participated in the beating are still at large of right now. Their school had given the police, Huntsmen, and Huntresses their information. So they should be caught very soon. This is Ansel 1 News Signing off."
After that the live feed ended with Jaune surprised. He sat down on his crying while, starting to break off into laughter. He finally got one over on them, he was free, and he managed to stand up for himself. He has scars now, both figuratively and mentally from all of them. He can move on from them, but he will have to go through the rest of his life, with this looming over his shoulder, and this will not be easy, he needed to find a way to make this easier for his family so they will not be dragged down with him. But what can he do?
It was now Monday Jaune was in school. People were looking at him in disgust, but some looked away from him uncomfortably, some of them felt bad for him, and some even with the evidence still didn't believe him. For him, he was not popular, and Catherine was popular, and beautiful, the odds were against Jaune. Jaune had a few notes sent to him that said: "RAPIST". He just crumpled them up and just threw them away, it was so bad that a small part of the staff was even warry of him, majority the female department. He knew that he can not go to school like this.
His locker was vandalized saying that he should go die, a rapist, freak, and he should just get lost. Jaune just sighed to open his locker just for it to fall off it's hinges. He looked somewhat surprised of what just happened. "Wow just like on TV, they must have really did a number on it. I am so sorry locker, you didn't deserve this." He propped it next to the other lockers, and was going to tell a teacher, or the principle, about his locker. He was walking to the bathroom, and girls looked at him in fear ran into the bathroom with some guys covering the entrance. Jaune just sighed went in the boys restroom and did his business. When he walked out, he noticed girls looking terrified of him, thinking he might do something to him. Then a few of the male students stood in front of him, in an attempt to protect them from Jaune.
"What are you looking at Arc, trying to make someone your next victim?" One of the guys sneered at him. Jaune just sighed and spoke. "You already saw the video I recorded, I am innocent in all of this. And I have no interest in doing any of that anyway." Jaune spoke to them evenly. One of the guys scoffed at him.
"Yeah sure, anyone can make anything up with a video, we know what she does to you, what is that some kind of revenge against her, stealing her peace of mind, because she treated you like the loser you are?" The boy spoke to him. Jaune just sighed muttered no, and just walked off.
"That's right keep walking you creep, you will never be welcomed here." One of the guys spoke out to him. 'I never belonged here in the beginning, from the get go.' Jaune thought to himself, gripping his book bag. Jaune walked to the principles office, to talk to him about his locker and what is going on.
"Mr. Arc how can I help you?" The principle talked to him evenly.
"Mr. Trevor I just want to tell you that my locker fell apart off its hinges, just wanted to make that known to you." Jaune said to Mr. Trevor. The man nodded to Jaune. "Thank you for bringing this to my attention Mr. Arc, is there anything else you will like to discuss?" Mr. Trevor asked Jaune. Jaune wanted to tell him about what is happening so far, but he didn't want to paint a bigger target on his back, especially his family. When he left for school in the morning someone scratched Rapist into their front yard when he left out. He knows that this is not going to be good for him, or his family. They have been very supportive of him, and loving. He was able to start talking to them again, just a little at least. He can at least smile at them naturally, at least a little. "No that is all sir." Jaune said while looking down. Mr. Trevor frowned at him. "You are not Jaune, I know when someone is bullied, but I can not do anything without proof, or catching someone, but I know what you are going through." He spoke to Jaune who was about to leave. "I know that Catherine was lying, she is a compulsive liar, and manipulative." Mr. Trevor told him. "Your grades were failing because of it, which is why I told the teachers to give you leniency, I just wished I could have done more for you Jaune." Mr. Trevor looked down in shame. Jaune looked at him with surprise, and smiled. "Thank You so much sir for looking out for me." Jaune said to him while smiling. "But, sir there is more I would like to ask." Jaune said to him, taking a seat again. "What is it that you need Jaune? I can try to help in anyway." Mr. Trevor said to him with a small smile. Jaune took a breath.
"Do you know how I can do online school?" Jaune asked. He essentially wants to be homeschooled.
The week passed with Jaune not going to school. His parents were concerned and asked what happened. He told them what was happening at school, and talked to the principle. They were both disgusted with the people there. But was surprised when he spoke about homeschooling, they were shocked at first, but they thought it made sense. He will be able to focus on school, and not worry about people bullying him. Mr. Trevor was able to set it up easily, and gave him the right to do school from home. He explained that's what Jeffery, and Catherine will have to do soon, they are not 18 yet, to go to prison, but they will be punished going forward. Jaune talked to his family about what was going on, and was impressed thinking this far ahead. They weren't worried about the backlash that they will face, they know things will be hard, they would feel bad for them, and question why they still stay by him. But they know Jaune, and they know he will never do anything like this, so they will stick by him no matter what.
Jaune was out by a big lake near Ansel just sitting watching the water and listening to the nature around him, he had his scroll on him, but he didn't have the heart to text Ruby and Pyrrha. He didn't know if they wanted to talk to him let alone associate with him. They kept trying to call him but he always ignored it. He also didn't want to get them into any trouble, he wants them to succeed and not worry about him when it comes to this. He knows who Pyrrha is, and he didn't want to ruin her life with fans trying to hound her by being near him, and not have a super fan stalk him, and try to kill him. He knows how crazy fans can be, it was really disturbing, and he didn't want any of that drama on her. With Ruby, she is still young. She has her whole future ahead of her, with going to Beacon early. Her family didn't want him to talk to her at all, with how her sister sent him a voice message. He felt the anger deep in his soul, and that really scared him.
He didn't want to stop talking to Ruby, and he didn't want Yang to hunt him down. Or her other family trying something. She was already socially awkward as him, and he didn't want her to be burdened with this, he wants her to grow more to be something amazing, and not having to worry about him, or be dogged by others because of him.
Jaune sighed, gave a sad smile thinking it was for the best. He will not burden anyone with this issue. So his plan was simple, continue with online classes finish them up, and graduate. Then he study up on a good way to be a farmer. He will move away somewhere, and be a farmer, he hasn't decided on what kind farmer he wants to be yet, he was thinking about being a wheat farmer. Selling bread could help, and give any to those who needs it. He can be a hero like that. Oh he just thought of it, he can also be an egg farmer, and chicken farmer, selling eggs will help a lot. Good pay, and a work out, and no one will want to anything more to do with him.
He knows that people don't want anything to do with him, and to save them the struggle, and himself the heartache, it was full proof, now all he needs to do is find a good part of land. His plan was interrupted when he heard voices call out to him. "Jaune!"
One voice sounded like young woman with a mother hen type voice. And they other, was a little squeaky, and young, on verge of adult hood. His eyes widened when he looked behind him, there stood almost 50 yards away, two of the angels who showed him love, and friendship. The two who stood by him, and wanting to help him stay in Beacon, his two only friends, his best friends. Ruby Rose, and Pyrrha Nikos. "Pyrrha, Ruby?" Jaune questioned.
He was so surprised to see those two here, and his eyes widened even further, Yang Xia Long, and Ilia Amitola were with them. He was scared he was going to be beaten up, and was even about to jump into the lake to swim away. "Jaune!" Another call from his two friends this time close. Wait what why was it close. He then Turned to see them teary eyed and running towards him! They were going to tackle hug him into the water! "Girls wait we are on-" Jaune tried to stop them but felt the air briefly leave his lungs, while feeling two bodies on him in a hug. I wasn't just a hug of friends give casually, it was filled with more affection than, friendship, they then land in the water, it was about 3 feet, from where they were at, but Jaune still smiled, feeling close to people who care so much about him.
Author's Note: Shorter chapter this time and got it out so much more recently, I felt the gears turning, but I still feel it can be better of course, but I heard you about the bullying, and he managed to get justice for himself. And was able to get out of the school that was out for his blood. Now, Pyrrha, Ruby, Ilia, and Yang, will witness what Jaune went through briefly, and will give the love and support, he needs.
