Author's Note: Hello, sorry again for the sudden long hiatus. I hit a moment where not only I got stuck with writer's block, I accidentally deleted some of my files when trying to complete this chapter. Thankfully I was able to overcome the writer's block and I'm back to complete this story! Chapter 3: Comfort

Rey couldn't stop crying. She was separated from Ben again and what gave her the most dread was she couldn't determine where and how far he is. She tried several times to connect with him through the Force, but nothing was working. She tried to bring herself to his quarters, but the room remained empty. Who could be severing their connection now? Snoke was dead, wasn't he? Did someone revive him? He was cut in half, it was impossible to bring him back. As she tried to reason what else could have happened to Ben, there was a knock at her door. Rey quickly wiped her eyes and answered, "Who is it?"

"Rose," the voice replied," may I speak with you Rey?"

Rey quickly got herself out of bed, ran her fingers through her hair to fix it a little, and adjusted her pajamas in place.

"Yes, you can come in!" Rey called as she watched the door.

Rose carefully opened the door and peeked her head inside.

"General Leia requests for you," Rose said as she stepped inside. Rose instantly noticed the remnants of the wet streaks on Rey's cheeks and the puffiness of her eyes.

"Rey, what's wrong?" Rose quickly asked with concern as she closed the door behind her and approached Rey.

"Rose um," Rey began, "I-I just well…. you know-this war has been stressful!"

There was no way she could lie this quickly; the stress kept her mind at a standstill. Maybe it was best to tell Rose. She needed help. There was no way she could find Ben on her own.

"It's because of Kylo Ren, right?" Rose carefully whispered.

Rey felt stunned, how did Rose know right away? Was it that obvious?

"I'm sorry Rey, "Rose began, "I've seen you two talking together during your training."

Rey began to step back from embarrassment, and she looked away from Rose.

"When?!" Rey asked, while trying to keep her emotions calm. She was hoping Rose didn't them during that one time.

"The first time when you told Leia you wanted to train away from our base camp," Rose replied, "I didn't follow if that's what you were worried about."

Okay good, Rey thought. That one time -rather one of my many times, did happen. She met Kylo at one of their secret and secluded areas away from the camp.

Rey double checked no one had followed nor watched her from a mile away. She turned to Ben and went "I think we're in the clear!" She said excitedly. It had only been a few days, since their last intimate connection, but they wasted no time. They were nude and wrapped into each other on the soft pile of leaves within a small part of the jungle. Ben got right to work on Rey's neck. He continued down her body with his tongue, to the sensitive area between her legs. After he stuck his tongue in and out of her, he looked up and noticed Rey fondling her breasts as he worked. This got him even more hard. He got his knees, pulled Rey in, and stuck himself inside her. Rey gave a surprised moan at his quickness, but fell right into instant pleasure. As he kept going inside and out of her, he could feel her tightening with every push. He lowered himself close to her to embrace her, but continued the motion of his body. Very gently, he leaned in and gave her a small bite at her neck. After several more pushes, he came right inside her. Rey exhaled with pleasure. She could feel the warm liquid sensation inside her. She gave a satisfied sigh and Ben leaned his face in to give her a deep passionate kiss.

"Rey I'm here for you," Rose assured, "Anything that's bothering you, I'm not going to judge you for it, I'm here to listen." She placed her hand on Rey's shoulder for comfort. Rey gave a small smile in return and nodded.

"This war is tough," Rose continued as she lowered her hand, "but we need to remember that we're here for each other."

Rey began to feel a lot less tense. She only knew Rose for about a month and mostly through Finn. He had excitedly told her all about their budding relationship. She was happy for Finn, but she could not tell him anything deep or personal in return. She bottled up a lot of emotions, due to her needing to be one of the leaders in the rebellion. She was surprised Rose felt empathetic towards her, especially since they barely spoke to each other. It was very comforting to finally hear someone reaching out to her, besides Ben. The moment she thought of him, tears once again flooded down her face.

"Rey!" Rose said with concern as she quickly gave Rey an embrace, "It's going to be okay!"

Rey held her in return and allowed her tears to run. As she wiped her face, Rose gestured to Rey's bed.

"Do you want to sit down and talk about it?" Rose offered.

"Sure," Rey quietly replied taking a seat on her bed. Rose sat right next to her.

"Take as much time as you need," Rose reminded her, "Leia isn't expecting a response right away."

"Thanks Rose," Rey sighed as she tried her best to collect herself, "Yes it's weird for me to admit, but I am in a relationship with Kylo Ren."

"How have you two been meeting?" Rose asked curiously.

"Through the Force," Rey admitted, "We're not exactly sure how it all works."

"That must have made certain missions difficult, right?"

"It did, for awhile. But Kylo-er Ben, decided to have someone else weaker lead the mission. It gave us an easy victory each time."

"I see…. Finn did notice a couple of times how easily it was taking down the First Order bases. He thought maybe they had grown weaker."

Rey nodded, "Yes it was all Ben's plan from the beginning."

"It was just today then, that you two aren't connecting?"

"Yes, and the last time it happened, Snoke found out," Rey began, "but he's dead, and I'm worried it might be him again or someone else."

Roses eyes widen and Rey caught her reaction.

"Did Snoke return?" Rey quickly asked, feeling every fiber of her body tensing up.

"No…" Rose confessed, "Palpatine returned…"
