Going back to Beacon

A/N: Hello everyone a new chapter of Moving Forward, we previously see that Jaune got the grand tour of the Xiao Long Rose household. And Yang apologizes for her actions, and learned that she has a crush on Jaune. Let's see how life goes with Jaune living on Patch, and away from his home town.

So without a further ado, let's go!

Two days have passed, and everyone had a great time watching movies, and playing video games. And in that time, Pyrrha found the joys of playing video games. It wasn't like fighting in real life, but she can appreciate the challenge, and hard work it takes, really makes her excited when she succeeded in something.

Now she loves competing, which is why she loves to do tournaments, even the though the fame is a double edge sword, but it has it's high moments. Seeing that she can be beaten in video games, made her feel defeat for the first time in a while. And rejuvenate her taste for competing again. So learning about fighting games made her see some moves that are real for the most part, but, seeing some outlandish stuff.

But the outlandish stuff, is more for the civilians, and those who aren't trained in their aura. She was able to even learn a few things she can incorporate.

Having Yang give her wise cracks to her about her playing, lit a fire in her, and swore vengeance! Shooters, were a dime a dozen, she shoots all the time but, seeing how other weapons operate in fiction, was entertaining, with Ruby constantly geeking out on the guns.

The little reaper really makes her smile, her adorableness is something to gush at. And her heart is so pure it was amazing. If Jaune was the man she needed in her life, then Ruby was the friend she needed. She was her fellow leader, and how Ruby called it "her sister, in love", meaning that her Ruby, agreed to be with the same man.

Yup that's right, when they find the right moment to confess to Jaune they will love him equally, and they hope that he will too. They firmly believe that Jaune will agree, a lot of the world hates him, but he will have love from them, he deserves it. And now, there is a third one.

Yang Xia Long, has felt the spark of love from this wounded heart man. She sees him as a guy who she can be with, and not worry about him lusting after her just for her body, and looks.

They both agreed to talk to her when they get back to Beacon, they want to see what she says, if she doesn't want to join in, no skin off their bones, more for them!

Jaune never felt so much acceptance, except from his own family. To be accepted by other people is a bigger feeling than just form your family, is so amazing. For the first time in a long time, he felt normal. If he was being honest, he wished that the girls wouldn't go back to Beacon, or at the very least go with them. But that boat has already sailed, so now he will have to learn how to fight better, and learn about his weapons, and fighting style better.

Jaune and Tai helped give the girls their things, and to see them off. Before they got on, Yang and Ruby gave their dad a group hug, which Jaune, and Pyrrha smiled warmly at.

"It is so good to see you girls again, just make sure to write or call me when you can got it? And, don't do anything crazy, just because you were some of the best doesn't mean you can do it all ok? Listen to your professors, they are Huntsmen and Huntress' for a reason, so follow their rules got it?" Tai spoke sternly, and comforting to them.

"Yes dad/ You got it dad." Both Ruby, and Yang said him at the same time. They were serious with agreeing with their father. Ever since what happened to Jaune they are learning to be patient, and willing to listen more. Ruby is playing serious catching up to the others in her classes. Moving ahead 2 years is a double edge sword, she was moved forward due to her combat prowess, not he education, so she tries to get as much info to do well in school.

She confides with Weiss and Pyrrha to help her out. Pyrrha understands, and eagerly agreed to help. At first Weiss didn't want to because she was still bitter at not being leader, but over time she agreed to help, and was secretly glad to help her partner. She was glad that her young leader was taking learning seriously, she was glad. She just wished she didn't constantly talk about Arc all the time. She still doesn't really see what makes him so incredible. But, then again she had a bad first impression of him, and she hasn't learned much about him as of yet.

Yang was in the same boat. She is trying to listen to her teachers better, in Signal Academy, she was top dog, but that was majority in fighting of course, and ok when it comes to book smarts. Majority Bs, and Cs, and a dark part of her was getting some people to get her work done for her. This was done by putting more attention on her 'blessings', and flirting with others to get her way.

Since coming to Beacon she started to take school more seriously, this is life and death, she needs to be more serious and wiser. And, truly befriending Jaune has helped her out. She was working on being more humble, and not being over confident, it was difficult to say the least. Years, upon years, of being one of the best is truly hard to change your mindset.

She did meditation with Ren to help her out with her aura. And she stopped trying to be a flirting jerk, seeing that 'woman' lying about Jaune, really opened her eyes. In all of that, that lying, conniving woman, was her in a way. Beautiful, arrogant, and sneaky. The traits that she had.

Her arrogance goes into her semblance, able to absorb the damage and dish it back even harder. She always won when her semblance in activated, and in turn made her think she was invincible. So breaking that habit harder than people think. But with the help of her sister team's resident ninja. She was working on emotion control, as to not get super angry all the time, and not rely on her semblance all the time.

She also confided with her partner Blake Belladonna. She hanged out with her more, and sees her as another sister essentially. But, she will admit her partner was sexy. She seen plenty of girls with amazing butts, but she takes the cake. Right next to Pyrrha. Weiss isn't a slouch but, she's not the same as others. She really liked her partner, but she is feeling something for Jaune Arc. She doesn't know when it started, but she started to feel fuzzy near him.

Even though she was partners with Blake for only about a month and a half, she felt that she could trust her like she does with Ruby. And, with how Ruby confronted her about her issues with her birth mother, it helped her break down those walls lightly. She still feels her abandonment issues still there, revealing their ugly heads, but she needs to have faith that, not everyone will just abandon her.

She needed to have faith in others. Faith in her father, her uncle, her sister, her team, her partner, her real friends, and most of all for herself. To have faith that she can move forward, and accept that things will happen, and it will not be always negative with people leaving.

With that she opened up to her partner, confessing to her of what she did before she came to Beacon. How she trashed a night club, because they didn't give her what she wanted. But she did say she didn't like how the boss their was treating her like a pretty face, no brains, and willing for her to spread her legs just to get what she wants.

Now she can see she did that for the most part, and was planning to go by and apologize to the people there, and explain to them why she was so focused, and so willing to get information. She even told her, with tears, and great reluctance, confessed to her, her biggest sin.

How she almost got herself, and most of all her little sister killed. Because her step-mother never came home, and was desperate just to find her birth mother. She was crying because her guilt was still there.

Blake was nervous, and didn't know what to do with this confession. She feels that her sins were worse, with all the blood on her hands, it was a painful memory. Yang told her that.

"I trust you with this so I can move on with this. It hurts to this day, but I feel talking about it, is a form of moving on, so I can be a better woman." Yang said to her partner at the time.

Blake just looked down in thought. She had felt guilt for hiding her traits like a coward. While other faunus like Velvet, are bullied, discriminated against, and all around hated. She saw how her team leader, and Pyrrha's team went up to help Velvet. Heck even Ilia, swallowed her fear of discrimination, and fought for her, and protected her from a bully.

A faunus and humans standing together, that is the mistake that the White Fang made when it was first created. They didn't allow humans in to march with them. Seeing how Pyrrha, Ruby, and Yang stand up for Velvet ignited a fire in her. She would stand up more, and not run away anymore, easier said than done.

She didn't even let her ears hang out, just hiding it under a black bow. She quickly realized something, she was a hypocrite. Here she is still hiding, still judging humans harshly, and not standing up for injustice of others. Just why she joined the White Fang for stopping the injustice, and how bad the White Fang turned out, and how Adam became very…bad.

He was willing to kill anyone, especially humans, and faunus alike. His way of doing things is not about equality, it was about revenge, and he wanted all of humanity to die for it. It was not justice, it was evil, and just straight up murder.

Being a huntress, she saw as the next best thing, helping out others, showing a faunus is doing the right thing, and fighting everyone's enemy, the Grimm. Yet here she is, sitting here listening to Yang as she poured her heart out to her, and she is hiding who she truly was.

"….Y-yang." Blake stuttered out. Yang looked up to her, and Blake took a deep breath, and reached up to her bow, and undid it in front of her partner. Her ears were free, and she felt some relief letting her ears out. The bow hid her ears, but it was slightly uncomfortable, like wearing a belt a little too tight, not unbearable but, uncomfortable.

She looked down thinking of what Yang would say, she felt that she would be angry at her for hiding this, but she looked up, to see Yang look almost mesmerized at them, and almost in thought.

"Hmmm, so that's why you like tuna so much, and that it twitched some time, I just thought it was the wind." Yang said placing her hand on her chin in thought.

Blake just stood there slightly offended with the comment on the fish part. She felt that it was a stereotype, on feline faunus. But, dialed it back when she heard her say about her ears twitching. She just sighed in relief, glad that Yang didn't blow up on her.

"But, I do have to say, your ears are really cute, but Ilia has already told us about you and her." Yang said to Blake giving her a compliment. Blake blushed a little at the compliment. But then became wide eyed and stood up

"She did what already?!" Blake exclaimed to Yang. She couldn't believe that Ilia would say anything at all. But she was upset with her for telling them without her there.

Yang knew what Ilia did was too soon. But, at the time at Jaune's home, everything was coming out for all of them, and Ilia felt that she needed to say something right then and there.

"I get it Blake, it is something deep and personal like mines. I wasn't ready to tell anyone this just yet, but some things have happened that helped me start to move forward from this. And Ilia had a lot of baggage she wanted to get off of her chest. And, I begged her to tell me about you because you are my partner I needed to know, you know? Yang said to her. Blake just looked down sadly with her ears starting to droop. Yang was about to squeal at the cute ness, but she squashed that.

"Are you afraid of being looked differently, I can guarantee you that we won't look at you any differently, but Nora and Ruby, and maybe me would want to rub your ears, they are really adorable." Yang said to Blake to try to reassure her. Blake felt embarrassed of someone touch her ears like that.

Faunus allowed others to touch their appendages, if they are family, or someone really close to them. Her face just blushed at that thought, the only ones who did that, was Her mom and dad. And Adam, when they were…intimate with each other. At first doing that with him, felt amazing. But as time went on, he was aggressive, and angry. He took it out on her, he didn't hit her by any means, just in the bedroom, it was so aggressive that, it didn't feel good for her half the time. So now, she is somewhat afraid to let people touch her ears.

But she shook her head.

"It's not that, well for the most part, I am afraid to see what people will do when they find out I'm a faunus, but that is just me being a coward. But, that is something that I need to fix myself." Blake said to Yang, confessing to her. "And, I am afraid of what Headmaster Ozpin would do if he found out me and Ilia was in the White Fang. We were in some of the forefront of everything." Blake said to Yang.

Yang looked down in thought she was right, but she will have others in her corner.

"You won't be alone on this, I will be there standing next to you, including our team, and Pyrrha's team, you know that." Yang said to her. Blake smiled at that. She was right her friends will be there for her.

"Thank you Yang, I'm glad I will have your support, but that is only part of it." Blake said to her, making Yang tilt her head slightly in confusion.

"I am worried about Weiss." Blake confessed looking ashamed. That caused Yang to widen her eyes in surprise.

"But why Weiss?" Yang asked her confused as of why. Blake took a breath.

"Weiss is a Schnee. And Schnees are the most hated from the faunus community, and have been targeted by the White Fang, so I am afraid that she will not want me to be near her, because I am a faunus." Blake said to Yang.

Yang looked down in thought, she was right. Weiss has been apprehensive about the faunus, but she feels that her time here has been slowly helping her, melting her icy heart. In the beginning, she was stuck up, and just an entitled little brat. But now she is being better with others, it was slow but steady.

She didn't trust Ilia at first, but now she is able to at least talk to her. And she has seen how Ilia acts, and looks at Weiss. But, like Weiss, she is adapting nicely, just a little more time.

"Blake you don't need to worry about that, sure Weiss was stuck up in the beginning, but even you can see how she is changing, and heck you can how Ilia, is changing, she almost looked like she wanted to attack Weiss when they first met, but now she can look her in the eye, and just look like she is just side eyeing her. So give her time ok?" Yang said to Blake, and she agreed with her.

"And Ilia is getting better herself, she opened up to us, and we all shared our trauma with each other. So she is coming along a lot more than Weiss is." Yang said. Blake was shocked at that. Ilia didn't really open up to anyone! If she was willing to do that with them, then maybe Weiss? Blake still had her doubts, but again old habits about the Schnees.

Weiss was changing for the better, including Ilia, that is what really surprised her. Her hatred for humans ran deep, but being here, she can be friendly with them. She was connecting with Pyrrha the most, especially her, due to being her partner. It was after she came back from visiting Jaune, she really started soften her heart, and was willing to talk to others, and be friends with others.

"You know Yang, when I first met you, you were so head strong, and flirty. But now, you are wiser, and more open, what happened?" Blake asked Yang with a smirk.

Yang just blushed a little, and looked to her side, and scratched the back of her head a little sheepishly.

"W-w-well, let's just say, someone's negative experience, inspired me to be someone better." Yang stuttered a little. Blake just gave her a cheeky, teasing smirk.

"It wouldn't happen to be a tall blonde, boy who didn't get here would it?" Blake teased Yang. Yang just looked at her, with a bigger blush.

"Not telling….maybe you would feel the same, if you met him?" Yang said flustered at first, but gave a teasing look, which caused Blake to blush slightly, but giggled a little.

"Probably not as much as you." Blake teased back, causing both of them to laugh with each other.

Back to Now

Blake hasn't told everyone the deeper secret(I.E. Weiss) but, she is now not wearing her bow. Some people like Cardin tried to harass her, but she was defended by her team, and her sister team. Yang was right they did accept her. Weiss was upset that she lied to her about that, but begrudgingly, accepted her, it was a work in progress of course. Like what Yang said, Ruby and Nora wanted to pet them, she said no, and they pouted, but she thought that some day she will allow it, but not yet.

"Ok you two, look out for each other, Ruby, don't try to do everything on your own, you may be a leader, but you are only human, so please ask for help if you need it, you have a team and friends there to support you." Tai said to his youngest daughter. Ruby just looked at her dad and nodded her head determined to be better.

He then turned toward Yang.

"And Yang, don't try to be so over confident, that gets you killed, and I have seen you when you were training, you are trying to limit the use of your semblance, that is good, don't let it be a crutch. Too many hunters do that, and they don't last for too long." Tai said to her to work on herself. "Oh and control that temper to, a skilled and smart enemy can exploit that." Tai finished, Yang looked somewhat embarrassed, but nodded her head, with determination just like Ruby. She will continue to be better the future.

Tai just nodded, proud that her daughters are taking everything so seriously.

"Good, continue to look out for each other, I love you both." Tai said to them both giving them one last squeeze, and a kiss on the head. The girls just giggled at that.

"Don't worry dad we will." Ruby said to her father still hugging him.

"Yeah you got it old man, we will." Yang said hugging him still. Tai just laughed at that and broke the hug looking at them.

"I am so proud of you two with the progress your making in a short time, and I am so glad that Ruby is starting to get the basics down with hand to hand, you will need it trust me." Tai said to them. With Ruby smiling, she was starting to get a basic understanding on how to fight hand to hand, she was still working on small jabs, and crosses, but she felt that she can make there someday.

"Now go say goodbye to Jaune." Tai said to them, pointing at him now talking to Pyrrha. They came over to give their goodbyes for now.

"Well Jaune, we will be heading out now, good luck finding a job, and training with our dad. He may be goofy, but he is a teacher for a reason after all." Yang said to him giving a soft smile at first, and slightly teasing her dad. Jaune just laughed a little at that.

"Don't worry, I will listen perfectly to him, your all great fighters, and he taught you, so I will be in good hands right?" Jaune said to them, causing both sisters to smile at that. He was right they were taught by the best.

"Your right Jaune! But, I was taught to use scythe from our uncle Qrow, you might see him sometime, if he comes by Patch, he is always busy though, but hopefully you will meet him, he might even help you out too." Ruby said to Jaune. That caused both him and Pyrrha to look on in interest, she mentioned her and Yang's uncle a few times, but didn't know that she was taught by him. They were both curious now.

"I would be glad to meet him, hopefully he won't try to butcher me, for being close to you two." Jaune said with a small and slightly nervous smile. The girls in question just blushed a little, and smiled at that.

"Eh don't worry about that, I will make sure to put in a good word for you, and I am sure dad will do the same." Yang said to him, giving him reassurance. Jaune and Pyrrha just smiled at that. And Jaune got a small sad smile.

"So this is goodbye for now huh?" Jaune said looking at the three of them. The time they all spent together was some of the most funniest times of their lives. Both Pyrrha, and Jaune were able to have fun with good friends. Well Pyrrha had good times while at Beacon, but not with the guy she likes.

"Hey it won't be forever, we can still write, text, and call each other. We won't be gone forever, and besides we can probably invite you to the Vytal Festival when it comes around, you can see us fight!" Ruby said with excitement, she will be able to show how she is as a fighter, and a leader, showing everyone who the future protectors who are going to be. And to make them feel safe when they see all of them.

Pyrrha, and Yang also felt excitement, to fight other gifted people was amazing, and they couldn't wait for it!

"She's right Jaune, we will see each other again, and make sure to look at the videos I sent you with practicing the basic stance. Talk to Mr. Xia Long, or call me if you need any help with improving it." Pryyha said to Jaune. Said boy just nodded while smiling.

"Yeah, make sure to call me if you need any help with Bellator Rose ok? I manage to make the internals more easier to cycle the rounds, but the internals are still a little complicated, and let me and Pyrrha know when your going to figure out the looks for her later, I remember you telling us you wanted to add something to the look." Ruby said to him, getting excited with helping and looking out for him.

Pyrrha nodded at that, with Ruby and her forging the weapon, she learned how to smith better, and Ruby will soon be financially stable soon enough, when she introduces the new kind of barrel. She was waiting until the Vytal Tournament when it starts up so she can advertise it.

She doesn't have to worry about anyone taking her creation, it is patent, and if anyone who makes it without her permission is in a heap of trouble.

"You got it Rubes and Pyr." Jaune said to them saying their nicknames. Causing the girls be happy, and blush at that. Yang went around and slung her arm around him, while giving him, a happy smile.

"Hey the same goes for me lady killer. Keep up with learning about how to throw good punches, and I can advise with kicks too. I am weak in that myself, but, we can both learn that at our own paces. Keep practicing your punches to polish them, your right cross is a champions one. So don't slip up on that ok?

And talk to my dad to improve on your punching, and learning new stuff about that when you are ready, he is the one who taught me after all. But, he might purposefully expand on it for you so no biggie there huh?" Yang said to Jaune, and squeezed him a little harder in the end.

She really like hug people more lately.

Jaune just smiled at that.

"I promise to be better, thank you, all of you for giving me this opportunity. No amount of thanks can repay what you have done for me, and I will not ruin this opportunity. Let's make everyone proud!" Jaune said to all three of them.

"Yeah!" All three girls shouted out, Tai just looked over with pride and joy. So glad to see his daughters growing up to be good people, and secretly glad that Jaune has met them, in time he will accept him.

The bullhead was ready for lift off, and gave a final 5 min warning.

"You girls better get on, don't want to miss it." Jaune said to them all three just nodded and grabbed whatever bag they had and ran to the bullhead. But Ruby stopped.

"Wait!" Ruby yelled out stopping.

"What's wrong sis?" Yang asked, with Pyrrha looking confused as well. Heck everyone was Tai, and Jaune thought she forgot something. She dropped her bag and ran towards Jaune. She jumped at him hugging him, with both arms and legs, and gave him a kiss on the cheek that lasted a few seconds.

This caused everyone there to stare on shocked, with Ruby looking bashful.

"See you later Jaune!" Ruby squeaked out, using her semblance to grab her bag and get on the bullhead. Jaune just stood there frozen, too shocked to move. Everyone was too, surprised that Ruby Rose had done that! But Pyrrha shook her head to get over her shock, and became determined. She was going to be brave and do something that she wants to do!

She ran to Jaune too, dropping her stuff first, and ran into Jaune hugging him too, and her kissing his other cheek but this time longer.

Jaune almost stood comatose.

"Take care Jaune, see you soon." Pyrrha said with her face as red as her hair, and sprinted into the vehicle. Yang came back to reality. She knew she had competition now, and she needed to stake her claim. She just power walked to Jaune, and Jaune managed to get his head together, and felt that Yang was going to punch him. But instead she hugged him too. And kissed him near the corner of his mouth. She didn't want to go for the lips, not until a little later that is.

That did it for Jaune, he was frozen.

"I will see you soon lady killer. And dad, do not hurt him! Like me and Ruby said to you, we can choose who we want, and have faith in us!" Yang said with her face slightly red, and ran to the bullhead.

Jaune just stood there with all the girls waving by to both a still Jaune, and a flabbergasted look, he was going to threaten Jaune, and hurt him in training. But, he heard what Yang said, and yeah she was right, so he won't destroy him in training. Well not too much.

Jaune and Tai both waved back, still shocked, but Jaune also smiled silly, and fell back fainting. That caused the girls to look concerned a little while flying away. But Yang just laughed at that. He was a dork, but a really cute dork.

Tai just looked at him, he was out cold.

Sure he said he will accept him with his girls in the future, but right now he wasn't!
