Living in Patch
A/N: Well here we go a new chapter, and I did some re-reading of my story, and I made a mistake of Yang not knowing that Blake is a White Fang member. So I made the part with them a little different. So hopefully that makes a good clear up. This chapter may be shorter than some, just having Jaune living in Patch, doing online classes, and training with Tai, and maybe looking for a job somewhere.
So hopefully, I cleared up anything, if anyone was confused about that. I have to re-read my own stories just to make sure I didn't do anything wrong, so again hopefully I don't make that same mistake again.
So without a further ado, let's go!
Jaune awoke in a pretty comfortable bed, with an alarm going off. He reached over to the noise and looked at his scroll. 7:30 AM, His online classes start at 8, and he will get ready. He got up and stretched while still being sleepy. I staggered his way to the bathroom that was down the hall near Ruby's room.
The door was open and he can see Zwei peeing in the toilet. He climbed up to the sink, and opened his leg and urinated in the toilet bowl.
Jaune just stood there, confused to no end. How does a dog do that?! Zwei then looked back, to him, panting a little, and barked once. Jaune took that as a way, of 'what are you looking at.'
"O-oh I-I'm sorry." Jaune stuttered, feeling guilty of being rude. Zwei did a little growl, but not in anger towards Jaune, but for being courteous. This human male seems ok, he had Ruby, and Yang's scent on him, it was ok for him, but he was trained to chase down and males who got close to the girls.
But he could feel that, this person is ok, for now, he will have to earn his trust. For his name is Zwei Rose-Xia Long!
When he was finished he closed the lid, and flushed with his tiny paws, and walked out the bathroom. Jaune looked on shocked again, seeing this little corgi walk away.
'I knew dogs could be smart, but, what the actual heck is this?!' Jaune thought to himself, just stunned to see a dog smart enough to not only use the bathroom, but flush the toilet, I mean what the actual hell?!
Jaune felt fully awake at that, but still had to wash and brush his teeth. As he splashed the water on his face, he began to think of the things he needed to do for school.
A/N: I don't know how most online classes work, because college is different than Highschool so, hopefully I can get it right to some degree, please let me know, if I did something wrong.
'Ok, I got Reading, and writing today, and I have to read the pages 30-36, and write down any mistakes I have found in there, and figure out which words are the right pronouns, verbs, and nouns to be best used in the sentences in said pages and sentences.
And I got to figure out where to put the right punctuations, periods, question marks, etc.' Jaune thought to himself as he was washing his face.
He then got his own tooth brush and tooth paste to brush his own teeth. He continued to figure out more of his classes.
'After that, I have Advanced algebra, figuring out the Pythagorean Theorm, good things I have a good stance on that. I was trying to pay attention more in class, and it became more, simpler? I was able to understand it better. Heh goes to show, that I do have a talent for learning, and catching on pretty well.' Jaune thought to himself about his math.
'Dad did say that I was soaking up the aura lessons like a sponge, and I can keep my aura up constantly without a thought, but I feel I can go further, more things to figure out anyway, maybe I can use it as weapon, I remember Pyrrha telling me that her teammate Ren could do that, so if he can, maybe I can too?' Jaune thought to himself thinking of the possibilities.
But Jaune went back to thinking of his 'school day' ahead.
'And after math, I have history, I really need to pay attention more. Hearing about Ilia made me really realize that, I have been not knowledgeable with anything going on…well more so than usual.' Jaune thought about that more, he felt history was his worst subject, but he will need to change that around for it to be more knowledge able to truly learn, from his, and others mistakes. But then Jaune thought about things more.
'Huh, I used to hate school and learning academic stuff. But learning about this, even though, it may seem so small and useless, but I can keep this for everyday things!
Like tests, and quizzes, it's not just about acing them, it's about seeing how your hard work can pay off into something you put your best in, and rising up to succeed in what you want to do!' Jaune truly thought about that.
'I wasn't putting effort in most things, just thinking that being a huntsman, that basic schooling, and tests were not important for that.'
Jaune thought to himself stopping himself brushing his teeth, looking down disappointed in himself, and also sad. But he thought how others are in his corner, and is willing to help him, and support him. He then got a determined look in his eyes.
'But, now that changes, I will be better, for those who all believe in me, and for me, to be a better Jaune Arc, so I will do this, and succeed!' Jaune thought to himself pumping himself up.
Little did he know, he was also muttering loudly to himself, and Tai Yang Xia Long stood next to the bathroom with his arms crossed. He was listening to what he was saying. And, he liked what he heard, the kid has a good head on his shoulders.
'He is finally getting it huh. Ruby and Yang didn't understand the little things in at Signal that wasn't directly learning about being a huntress. There are reasons why teachers, and other schools do tests, and quizzes like that. It's to make you see that your hard work can pay off in the end!
And learning is exercise for your brain, the more you use it, your critical thinking is higher, and you won't always over look the little things that seem insignificant.' Tai thought to himself, and walked away silently to go make some breakfast.
He's got plenty of Bacon, and the kid would like some he knows it. And then he thought about his daughters, his smile was still there, but was smaller.
'You two really found a good guy to have as a great friend, and I seen how you two feel about him. You might not admit it now, but….no matter how painful it is as a father…..I will support you two in this.' Tai thought that, but flinched due to how painful it was. Zwei seen that and perked up, Tai looked over and pet him on his head.
"I'm alright boy." Tai said his best friend who wasn't human.
'At least I hope I will be.' Tai thought to himself.
Jaune finally came down smelling the food, but assumed that it was for Tai so he quickly got his scroll and quickly, opened up his website he had to go on, and tackled the reading head on.
Since he was technically doing homeschooling he could start his classes at any time, but he chooses the morning so he can get everything done. But since he only has a few months left, he doesn't need to do anything extreme to graduate, just maintain good enough grades. His highest grade was a 88. Not bad but others were all in the low 70s, and the other 50s-60s, and that was history. He will have to work to figure out a way to completely increase the grades higher, to graduate with high enough marks, to make a lot of his classmates see, that he is not a true failure.
He can request extra credit for history, and make sure he gets his answers right with regular assignments. Reading was under way, and he brought down a few journals, each for a specific course he was working on, he was really reading through the first few pages, and writing down anything that seemed wrong to him.
Jaune was half way through his pages when, he heard a small plate and glass was in front of him, he looked over to see a plate with 8 pieces of bacon, and a tall glass of Orange Juice there. He looked confused and looked up to Tai, giving him a two finger salute, finishing up his own breakfast.
Jaune just gave a grateful smile, and nodded his head, eating gratefully, he's got to remember to floss again after this, he shouldn't have eaten just yet. He wasn't planning on eating originally yet, at least until later after he was half way done with his work.
Seeing how he was doing he managed to finished reading, and went over his notes. It looked so far so good, hopefully, it's all right.
As he went to do the work, he got his results back, and got 89! Just a few words not placed in the right areas but, other than that, he did good! Jaune felt accomplished with this, normally it would have been in the 60s, or 70s. He gets lucky because his class for reading and writing, gives opportunities to re check everything, and a have a limited time, to put down the right answers, which is why his grades are usually in the 80s in this class.
And kids in his class always 'distract' him for getting the right answers, and sometimes falling asleep doesn't help either.
'I can do this…..I can succeed!' Jaune cheered in his mind pumping his fist up. Tai seen this and just laughed.
"You did something right huh, good for you kid, keep it up." Tai said with some food in his mouth. Jaune just froze a little, and slowly lowered it, while laughing a little sheepishly. Tai seen this and just laughed at that more.
"No need to feel too embarrassed, believe me I have seen more embarrassing things from my own students, and my own girls." Tai said to Jaune, causing Jaune to laugh a little.
"Like how my little rose tried to use too much gravity dust in her weapon, to make it more powerful, me and Yang had a good laugh about that." Tai shared with him. Jaune just started laughing at that. It seems Ruby was always exploding something.
"I guessing calling her crater face isn't so wrong as it seems now, already almost exploding so early!" Jaune laughed at that, Tai laughed a little but got curious.
"Why you calling her that?" Tai asked.
Jaune was still working on his work, and taking notes, since he is doing math so far.
"In her first day, Ruby's current partner Weiss accidently shook an exposed dust canister at Ruby, and the dust got in her nose, and she caused an explosion." Jaune said fondly. Tai looked like he was going to approach someone. But, Jaune had seen this and reassured him.
"Don't worry she wasn't her, or Weiss, they made up as it seems after a while. She laid in a small crater a little defeated but, I came over and seen if she needed a hand, and we became friends after that." Jaune explained to Tai.
Tai listened on glad that his daughter was unhurt by that, and laughed it off knowing his little girl made a good friend at that.
"Thank you for helping kid. She always had a hard time finding and making friends, but you came by and helped her, thank you so much for that." Tai thanked him for that. His daughter did know how to choose her friends. So he will give him some slack.
But, he will have to earn Zwei's trust, muwahaha!
It was almost 11 AM, and Jaune finished with his work for the day. His brain felt a little like mush. He was making stride in his classes he believed. His history was average at most about a 74, it used to be a 63 usually. But that is just in school work, and not tests, and quiz's.
Now you may think that, since he is at home, he could look up the answers, but Jaune feels that, that is the easy way out. He could probably do it, but he wants to succeed more with his own merits, and not take any short cuts. He can always look it up afterward, and start to study from there.
He walked outside, and took a deep breath, it was a nice sunny day, and he could see Zwei, and Tai outside, Tai was working on his own garden, it even had sunflowers in it. Jaune walked over to see how they were doing, and Tai looked up with a smile.
"I see your done with your classes today huh? Maybe after a while, you would be able to finish your work much quicker, and easier." Tai said to Jaune, and said boy just smiled at that, and nodded.
"So what are you going to do now though?" Tai asked him going back to his garden. Jaune looked down in thought, he was planning to practice his swordsman ship, with Pyrrha's recordings, do some exercise that Yang, and Pyrrha suggested for him. But first things first, he needs to make ends meet!
"Well I was thinking of going into town for a little bit, I want to see if I can find any work out there, I want to at least get a head start in working." Jaune said to Tai, and the man just smiled at that.
"You know how to get there by foot right?" Tai asked him. And Jaune looked down a little trying to remember correctly.
"I know somewhat thankfully there are signs for certain directions, but I need to learn it better." Jaune admitted to him. Tai just laughed silently at that, and shook his head a little fondly, it reminded him of his wife, and daughter when if comes to directions at times.
"Zwei, take him to the arms shop, make sure he doesn't get lost." Tai told Zwei, and said dog just barked and started walking.
"Thanks Tai, see you later on, and I will make sure Zwei is safe." Jaune said to him walking away. Tai just laughed at that.
"You keep him safe, hah! He is keeping you safe, he knows the area like the back of his paw, and no grimm the size of a Ursa can stop him!" Tai just laughed out. That caused Jaune to freeze, and to look at said dog walking away. But then slouched down depressed a little at that. Even the dog is better than him dang it!
As Jaune walked through the path walking, he had to admire the scenery. It was beautiful and he can see why people would want to live here, even though it is not like a big city, it is very homely. He looked down to his side to see Zwei moving about, his adorable little paws doing it was so cute in his mind.
Sometimes Zwei would pee, and do his other business, so he just stopped and wait for him. Jaune still kept his guard up. Ruby and Yang had told him to keep a look out, because there are still grimm around the area. Majority of them are on the younger side, but he still needed to be careful. Even the most harmless looking can be difficult to fight, no matter how powerful you are.
So Jaune kept his hand on his sword, and sometimes his hand on the handle of his new gun, it was on his back where he can grab it, and deploy it easier. He needs to learn how to use it better. Ruby and Pyrrha went all out on it too.
Ruby explained to him that, the original lever action of this type of shotgun was, unreliable usually with feeding a new round. But Ruby, figured out how to make it easier, and a little bit smoother. Again it was bigger than an original, a little longer, a good extractor to make sure the spent casing could eject.
He swears Ruby is a genius, if she wanted to do another job in the future, she could be a weapon's smith. But now she may not need to work ever again, thanks to Pyrrha, she will eventually get royalties due to her invention, he was so honored, and blessed to use the very first model.
As he was walking , Zwei stopped and his ears perked up.
"What's wrong Zwei?" Jaune asked and was about to reach for his sword, but instead reached for his gun, he may need to start his practice early.
Zwei turned his head to the left, and then started growling going on the defensive, and with that Jaune drew his gun out. He aimed it the same way Ruby told him to aim it.
' Alright Jaune here is the way to handle your baby!'
Jaune started with his stance
'If your stationary spread your legs out, and plant your feet and hold your ground, just like how Pyrrha told you how to use a sword.'
Jaune then pointed his gun forward bracing himself as the best he can without a stock.
' And since your baby doesn't have a stock to it, really grip her. Point it forward and squeeze the trigger, don't pull, you will pull away from your target and miss.'
Jaune gripped Bellator Rose hard, especially on his gun's handle where the trigger was. But Jaune then remembered a very important rule she has told him
'And remember Jaune, Never point your weapon at yourself. Always treat your weapon as if it is loaded, even if you know that it is not loaded. Only shoot at the thing you are willing to destroy, and finally be mindful of what is beyond your target.'
That's what Ruby had told him, and he is truly practicing that right now. He was looking to where Zwei was growling, but not approaching the area, he is going to let whatever is there come to him.
Jaune started sweating with the situation, and he heard rustling, in the foliage. He waited with bated breath, and he heard….growling, and it was not Zwei.
Zwei then started barking, and out of the bushes was a beowolf. It was young, very young, with no armor plates. Jaune took the initiative, and shot a solid slug( I don't know if they have those kind of projectiles here) at the creature, right in the head. The creature fell instantly and started disintegrating. Jaune released a breath he didn't know he was holding.
And Jaune looked at Bellar Rose, and seen that the sights were more up, that indicated that the rifle mode was up and running. That and the modes are color coated on the switch. He mentally sighed at that, he needed to be more aware of that, another thing to work on. Jaune racked the loop of his gun, and loaded another round.
He will admit, that sound is kind of satisfying.
Jaune was about to relax, when he still heard Zwei growling. He mentally slapped himself.
'How could I forget, there could be more than one of them!' Jaune shouted mentally. Jaune kept is weapon pointed, hearing, more shuffling, and three more came out. Two didn't have their bone armor yet, but one had some bone armor. Jaune aimed at the most closes.
He shot his gun, and that grimm died. Jaune quickly wracked the lever, and dived to his right, as the one with armor on it lunged at him. And he shot another shot, but the beowolf flinched instead of dying instantly. But it was very weak, and Jaune quickly wracked his gun again, while the grimm roared defiantly, and tried to swipe at his head.
Jaune ducked again, and yelled as he pointed the barrel of his gun to the chin of the grimm, and fired.
The grimm's head exploded, and dark blood poured out of the missing area, until the grimm started disintegrating. Jaune took a breath, but just remembered something.
"Oh crap, Zwei!" Jaune yelled out in concern, he worried about the family dog, but froze with seeing Zwei sitting on top of the other beowolf. Jaune just stood there, with his jaw dropped.
Zwei just barked twice, getting Jaune out of his stupor. He just went over and picked up Zwei.
"Zwei I am so glad you are safe!" Jaune yelled out in relief, while hugging Zwei. Said dog just barked and licked his face.
"Haha, thanks for that boy, and it seems Tai was right with you able to handle yourself just…wow." Was all Jaune could say, as he put down Zwei, they looked around to see if things are clear.
"What do you think Zwei, are we good to go now?" Jaune asked the dog, the dog was listening, and smelling the air. And he just barked at him a few times, indicating they were good to go. Jaune just smiled at him, and nodded.
"Alright then, lead the way Zwei, hopefully we are almost there." Jaune said to Zwei, as the dog barked once, and started walking again. It usually takes about 15 mins by foot to arrive at the town, less than that by car of course. But, Jaune and Zwei both arrived to town, and they started walking around, and Jaune looked down to Zwei, thinking that he may want some water.
He was looking around to see if there is a way for him to get a drink, until he heard a woman's voice.
"Oh Zwei! You sweet little thing!" A woman who looked to be in her mid-30s, with a country like accent spoke up. She looked fairly tall, about 5'9 or 5'10. She was tanned a little from being in the sun, but had orange like hair. She was muscled around the right areas, but blessed in both hips, and breasts. She also had cow horns on her head. Her smile was like the sun, looking at the little corgi. Zwei's ears perked up, and looked over, and got happy, and started barking, and run up to the woman. She started petting him, and cooing.
"Oh who's a good boy, you are, yes you are!" The woman said to the dog, while scratching his belly. "Oh do you want something to drink, here you go, you little darlin'!" The woman asked him, while putting a bowl down for the dog.
Zwei was drinking up the water eagerly.
'Huh, he was really thirsty, poor boy.' Jaune thought to himself. The woman just looked up to see him, and she looked at him confusingly.
"Well hello there young man, I haven't seen you around before, what brings you here, and with Zwei no doubt." The woman asked Jaune. Jaune just perked up and got his bearings.
"Oh uh, yes ma'am, I am new here I am living with Tai for the time being, he was willing to take me in. He agreed to train me, and help me out in any way he can." Jaune said not giving his name, just to make sure she doesn't look at him badly. He wanted to start a new, and didn't want the first person besides Tai here, to dislike him.
The woman just looked at him, and smiled at him.
"Well, well, well, Tai is raising a new fighter huh? His girls are a force to be reckon with, and with his help, you are going to be unstoppable!" The woman said to him giving him a toothy smile. Jaune looked away blushing, and giddy.
'I am so glad that she is being nice to me!' Jaune thought to himself. But, he broke out of his stupor when he saw the woman looking at him, thinking hard.
"Umm, ma'am what's wrong?" Jaune questioned simply, but inside he was freaking out.
"Hmmmmmm, I don't know why, but you look a little familiar, what is your name young man?" The woman asked him.
Jaune panicked, he didn't want this person to spread bad things about him. He had to lie, and get out of here, and look for a job!
But Jaune couldn't lie. He knows things will catch up eventually, and he knows that not everyone is going to like him, so, all he could do is rip off the bandage right away. He will hopefully be able to move forward from this in the future, and people will not care anymore, or just move forward from what happened. Jaune just took a deep breath.
'Let's get this over with.' Jaune thought to himself. "My name is Jaune Arc. And I just moved here a few days ago." Jaune said to her, and Jaune just looked down a little. And after a few seconds he didn't hear her say or do anything, so he looked up.
And, all he has seen was her in a thinking pose, she was trying to figure it out. But then she just shrugged after a few seconds of thinking.
"I swear I heard that name somewhere. Eh it's ok, probably something different, but it's great to meet you Jaune Arc, I am Maple Thyme." The now introduced Maple introduced herself to Jaune. Jaune just mentally sighed that she doesn't recognized him, but counted his blessings, and gave a genuine smile.
"It's great to meet you Ms. Maple." Jaune said. He held out his hand to her, and she shook it nicely. She had a great grip on her.
"Pleasure to meet you, young man, it's good to see a new face around here. So you walking Zwei around with you?" Maple asked looking at Zwei still slurping up water. Jaune just laughed a little at that.
"Hehe, no, more like he is walking me." Jaune made a slight pun, that he didn't mean to make. He froze because he knows how other people don't like Yang's puns. But Maple just laughed a little.
"Oh boy, Tai is already corrupting ye. But at least that was funny." Maple said laughing a little still. "But I know it's not just about walking, what brings more to town, shopping?" Maple asked in the end.
"Oh no, not that, at least not yet. I am looking to see if any businesses are hiring, need to make my keep somehow." Jaune said to her. Maple looked at him a little sadly.
"Sorry young man things are backed up right now, you won't be able to find permanent work." Maple said to him. Jaune looked down a little sad, he had to figure out how to get money. He can always help out Tai with teaching, if he needed help. But Tai told him he will ask him if he needed it. He would get paid for it, but it doesn't seem a lot in the long run.
Maple then put a hand on his shoulder.
"There are other ways to earn your keep." Maple said looking at him. Jaune looked on waiting for what to say.
She then gave Jaune a slight flirty look, and pulled her blouse by her neck, a little, to show more cleavage. Jaune just turned red at that.
"You can always keep me company~." Maple said slightly lustfully. Jaune started stuttering, and about to run away. But she ended laughing at that.
"Pffffttt, Hahahaha, you should have seen your face!" The woman started laughing with tears in her eyes, while holding onto Jaune's shoulder. Jaune deep down, felt sad, and upset with her. He has already been through this, and he didn't want to be teased like this, especially from someone he doesn't know. He was about to walk away, and Zwei was sitting and looking at them. But Maple then got her composure back.
"I'm so sorry Jaune. I was just messing with ya, you looked like you needed something good to look at. And I wanted to lift your spirits up, so for that I am so sorry." Maple regained her composure, and bowed slightly to say she was truly sorry.
Jaune looked on a little neutral, but he could feel her genuine apology.
"I will, but I will let you know if it is ok to do that for ok?" Jaune said to her. And Maple looked up, and seen the sadness in his eyes, now she felt really guilty.
"I promise Jaune, again sorry, I was trying to cheer you up in some way." Maple looked over to her side sheepish. Jaune looked at that, and sighed, but smiled in the end.
"Thank you for that Maple. Just some bad experience with beautiful women tricking me with that." Jaune said to her, but froze when he said 'beautiful women.' He was about to apologize, when he saw the woman blushing now, looking a little embarrassed.
"You should call my daughter beautiful, and thank you for that Jaune." Maple said not making eye contact.
Jaune looked away a little and thought about it, she has a daughter? And that made sense, she had this aura of a mother. Eager to get this over with due to making it awkward now, he asked more about the options of jobs.
"S-so, you said there is ways for me to find work, or was that just for the teasing?" Jaune asked her. Maple just looked at him, the blush gone, and gave a small smile.
"Yes, there are some shops and small places around her that will pay you for helping out for a day. Depends on the business of course." Maple said to him. Jaune looked shocked at that, a fair sum for one day, he could do that!
"Oh cool, thank you Maple do you know any places willing to do any work for that right now?!" Jaune asked excitedly, with Zwei looking excited with him. Maple just found that adorable.
"You can ask around here, and ask a few business owners if they are willing to do a 'temporary' for a day. But, keep in mind not all of the owners will give you one every day." Maple said to him. Jaune just nodded happily at that. Finally he can do some work, and not be a free loader! But Maple ended up stopping his train of thought.
"You can also help me out young man." Maple said to him. Jaune looked at her with a raised eyebrow. Maple saw that, and quickly reassured him.
"Oh don't worry I am being serious right now!" Maple said waving her in front of her, she wasn't the same mistake as before. "You see, I am selling my vegetables here, I am running a small farm. My daughter used to help out a lot when she was younger, but times are different now since she has been going to Signal Academy. She is a second year now. So I could really use the help, and don't worry about if you think I can't constantly pay you all the time. I get good money already, royalties are great too." Maple said to him giving a big smile.
Jaune was about to agree to it but got a questioning look.
"Wait, how come your husband isn't helping you with the farm work, with extra hands you probably wouldn't need me?" Jaune questioned. Maple then became said and looked down. Jaune was about to apologize, but Maple put her hand up, and nodded her head with a small smile.
"Don't apologize Jaune, You see years ago when my daughter was a baby, my husband was killed by grimm." Maple said, with Jaune shocked and sad. "He was ambushed by an Ursa while working in the fields one day, to help give me a break, he was older, I was 20 at the time and he was 25, a huntsman. He lived here for a little bit, due to wanting to take work here. He was working to help me out, and we were married for a year before he passed." Maple said looking down.
"I was looking at him, while he was picking the vegetables, and he looked at me, and a Ursa came behind him, and clawed his back out." Maple said to Jaune, she started to tear up a little. Thankfully for me I always carried a shotgun with me, and was able to shoot that bastard dead." Maple said with anger in her eyes, but she just sighed and continued forward.
"He was bleeding out fast, and I couldn't do anything. But, he told me to stop, it's ok. And that "please live on happily, for me, and let our daughter be happy too, please." That was my husbands last word to me. He left behind a will for me and my daughter, and I used some of that money to have a small investment so I can keep the house easily, but the farm is all me." Maple said to Jaune. She then became happy.
"I am so proud of my daughter. She is not letting what I have told her to keep her down. She knows her papa loved her, and me in return. And she vows to live, and be a great huntsman like her daddy, no, even better." Maple said to him, with happy tears coming down now.
Zwei saw this and went to her to comfort her, and she picked him up. Jaune was crying a little too. That is why he wanted to be a huntsman. He wants to inspire, and give hope to those who need it! He then put her into a hug. She stiffened up a little but eased herself into his hug.
"I am so sorry about your loss, and I know he is proud of both you, and his little girl." Jaune said to her, she just smiled at that. She put down Zwei and gave Jaune a full hug, almost bone crushing. Brothers was she strong!
Jaune just laughed in the end when they got their bearings. She laughed too.
"I will like to help where I can. Just let me know when you need me for help. And what time you need me in ok?" Jaune said to her. Maple got a big smile, and hugged him again. This time she cracked his back! She must have aura.
"Thank you so much Jaune Arc! And you can come in tomorrow at 8AM. My daughter would go to Signal, while I start plowing the fields if I have to. I will show you what to do, and where to put the haul at." Maple said to him. Jaune just nodded at that. She then gave him the directions on where to go to for her area. It wasn't too far from Tai's place, a good mile or two away, it will only take him about 10 mins to walk. His aura makes him faster, he didn't go faster today because he was following Zwei, but he learned that Zwei has his own aura unlocked from what he has seen!
Jaune agreed with her and said that he will be there, but he said that he will continue to go around town, he already seen it before, but he needs to remember the areas.
Maple just waved him goodbye for now. She smiled at him, as he walked away with the adorable corgi.
"Such a nice young man. He is a handsome young man. Maybe I should introduce him to my daughter, they seem like the same age. Ohhh I just know she will love him!" Maple gushed at that. But then she remembered something. "Wait, he is training with Tai, which means she might meet him! I will tell him what she looks like, maybe I can have grandkids before I am forty." Maple said mischievously.
Far away in Beacon, three girls felt a disturbance. A disturbance that another woman may want to get with Jaune. A reaper in her hood pouted, and balled up her fist. He sister's eyes went red, as she punched a punching bag of the chains. And a certain champion was accidently bending a railing she was walking past.
'He is Ours!' They all thought at the same time!
A/N: Hey everyone here a new chapter for all of you! Some characters may be mentioned a few times but, they won't really be making a lot of appearances. And give me more time to write stories. I need to figure out how to write things down good enough. And, I may have a future plan for my Danmachi story, to make it spicy. I will make it like a few months have passed, there is a reason for that, and I will not saying what it will be for that story.
