A/N: And here, we see four people that Johnny and Roxanne have, two of which are both twins and young adults while the other 2 are a young boy and a 3-week-old baby girl, not to mention another demon, who would be portrayed by Ian McShane.
Ghost Riders: Rage and Vengeance
Chapter 2: A Devilish Encounter
Later, in the Broken Spoke Saloon, the patrons there were having a good time while one of them waited outside for the waitress, who walked in.
"There you go.", the waitress spoke as she walked in with a tray of beverages.
"It took you long enough.", the patron spoke as he picked up the bottle and opened it, drinking it.
But soon after, the bottle began to get mostly covered in ice, prompting him to look up and notice a man with a pale blue skin walking up to him.
"I think you might be lost, boy. You deaf or somethin'? Angels only in there.", the biker spoke.
"Angels. Really?", the man responded.
"Yeah, really. You got a problem with that?", the biker responded.
"As a matter of fact...", the man responded before touching him in the chest, apparently causing the biker to turn pale with veins creeping up as his eyes turned completely black before his body fell limp on the ground.
"I do.", the man finished before walking in.
Meanwhile, Johnny, Roxanne, and Mack were walking back home along an apparent alleyway.
"Yep. Love your neighborhood, Johnny. Really friendly around here. You two join the Homeowners Association yet?", Mack spoke.
"We're thinking about it.", Roxanne responded as they then walked past someone going the other way.
"Oh, look, your pal.", Mack spoke a bit jokingly before they then went up an apparent entrance via lift.
"Oh, I see you still haven't gotten a lock for your lift. That's great, great. You've got a lot of expensive bikes in here, man. I told you. How many times?", Mack asked as Johnny then turned the lights on.
"Well, JB, I said it before, I'll say it again: This place could use a woman's touch.", Mack commented.
"So could you.", Roxanne responded.
"Heard that.", Mack responded.
"Dad! You're okay!", a boy shouted as he quickly ran over to Johnny, who then picked him up while a small, young girl named Annabelle reached for Roxanne.
"Oh, are you hungry?", Roxanne cooed.
"Miss us, Barton?", Johnny grinned.
"Oh, he-hey! Mom, Dad, you're back!", a young man named Matt grinned as he walked in.
But the only one who wasn't pleased as she walked in was a young woman named Maria.
"Oh, so Dad is still alive. Why am I not surprised that he somehow survived something that should've killed him?", Maria spoke sarcastically.
"Okay. Harsh.", Johnny responded.
"Oh, wow. Dad has another broken bike to add to his collection of broken bikes.", Maria spoke sarcastically.
"I was just going to say that. Well, I'm glad to see you found use for your books.", Mack spoke.
"You want some jellies?", Johnny asked.
"No. I don't want none of your stupid candy.", Mack responded as he held a book and opened it, growing very uncomfortable with what he saw inside before Maria spoke to Johnny.
"Dad, we need to talk. It's serious.", Maria responded.
"I'm trying to relax, Maria.", Johnny responded.
"Yeah, well I can't relax! Not until I get this out of my chest!", Maria urged as Johnny only turned on the TV and saw a monkey doing karate.
"It's about you jumping on the anniversary of Grandpa's accident. You know I don't support this, Dad. Dad? Dad...! Are you even listening?", Maria asked as she turned the music off.
"I want you to kick higher for me. Can you get higher?", the instructor asked.
"Aw, for the love of... DAD!", Maria began before she then went for the remote.
"Come on! Hit it!", the instructor shouted before the chimp only grinned with all its teeth shown with the video promptly turned off.
"Maria, give me the remote.", Johnny spoke.
"Not until you listen to me.", Maria refused.
"Alright, I'm listening.", Johnny responded.
"You worry me. All these shows you do, I don't want anything to happen to you, Dad. Just think of how mom would feel if one day your luck finally runs out and you actually die. She'd be devastated and I would be, too. Because I would lose the only dad I've ever known and only ever want...", Maria responded.
"Okay, honey. I understand how you feel. So, I'll tell you what. The next show will be my very last one. You think you can go see your old man jump one last time?", Johnny asked.
After a moment, Maria thought it over and sighed.
"Alright, fine. But you better be serious about this being your last show.", Maria responded.
"I am serious, now can I watch my show now?", Johnny asked.
"Thank you so much, Daddy. I love you. Oh, and here you go.", Maria assured as she handed the remote back to him.
"I love you too pumpkin.", Johnny assured before the TV was turned back on, only this time, it showed a 1929 cartoon playing called, "The Skeleton Dance", which showed a skeleton popping up and scaring the fur off the 2 cats before they took off, their fur back on, as Maria left the room with Barton and Annabelle staying by Johnny's side with the baby girl cooing a bit in laughter as Barton giggled.
Meanwhile, in the saloon, there were now piles of bodies all over, although there was only one yet remaining as she hid down and looked carefully to see if anyone was there. But no sooner had she stood up that she saw the demon waiting for her as he chuckled before grabbing her by the neck and lifting her up.
"I knew you were here. I could smell your fear.", the demon discouraged as he then started to drain the life out of her as well, adding another in his long list of corpses felled by his hands.
Then, the demon noticed another one appearing by reforming from dust and dirt, solidifying into corporeal form.
"Hello, Gressil.", the demon greeted.
"Why are you here?", Gressil asked before another apparent demon reformed from water.
"Wallow", the demon spoke.
"And what do you want from us?", Wallow asked as he brushed the left eye off him before another one appeared.
"I've come for the contract of San Venganza. Legend has it that the contract was stolen and hidden... in a graveyard not far from here. And now you're gonna help me find it.", the demon responded before another demon arrived, this time made out of wind before stopping near the two and reforming into corporeal form.
"Abigor.", the demon spoke.
"And when we find it, then what?", Abigor asked.
"Then we'll take this world... one city... at a time.", the demon responded before someone called out to him.
"Blackheart!", Mephisto shouted before Blackheart growled and went outside to see him with a chuckle.
"What the heck are you doing here?", Mephisto asked.
"It's my time now, old man.", Blackheart responded.
"Your time will come. But not now.", Mephisto assured.
"We both know you can't harm me here. I'm not like you. I've never fallen. I never will.", Blackheart responded.
"I may not have power over you in this world, but my riders do.", Mephisto warned.
"The Ghost Riders? Your favorite creations? The powers of hellfire wasted on pathetic humans? If you had trusted me... if you had given me what was rightfully mine...!", Blackheart began.
"IT'S ALL MINE! Until the end of days.", Mephisto argued.
"Go ahead. Send the Riders. I'll bury them. And then, I'll bury you... Father.", Blackheart spoke before Mephisto vanished in streams of smoke.
Just then, a bolt of lightning struck the ground and continued striking until another demon's corporeal form has reformed, leaving a spot of glass where the sand was.
"Ah, Zigor.", Blackheart greeted.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go get that contract. I want to make the people of this world scream.", Zigor spoke before then blowing up the saloon with a strike of lightning.
The next morning, everyone was coming to the SoBe Dome.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Johnny Blaze Leap of Death!", the announcer shouted in announcement as the audience watched in excitement.
"Johnny B!", one of the audience shouted before it showed Johnny in his break room, standing in front of a mirror before Mack walked in with a cane.
"Hey, JB.", Mack spoke as he walked in before Johnny stopped him.
"Shh. You're stepping on Karen.", Johnny spoke before, a moment afterward, Mack handed him the cane.
"What was it you were gonna say, Mack?", Johnny asked.
"I just ran a second check on the ramps. They look good. Crowd's kind of out of control. Johnny, you know you don't have to do this, don't you?", Mack asked as Johnny drank straight from the coffee pot.
"Does this suit fit all right? It feels a little loose.", Johnny asked.
"The suit's fine.", Mack assured.
"Would you bring me my hat, Mack? Thank you.", Johnny spoke before Mack then left the break room to get his hat.
"You can't live in fear.", Johnny said to himself.
A/N: That is so right. And the next chapter would be a bit similar and a little different at the same time. Don't worry. Johnny will still make it, I assure you. :)
